I know you've heard this "song and dance" before of non-profits asking for money. The only problem is I can't sing and you don't want to see me dance. Therefore, with hat in hand I throw myself on the mercy of our readers to help keep this publication, with over twenty years of being on the world-wide web, on line for the specific purpose of saving souls. For the past two decades, through thick and thin, this editor has not taken a salary. It is a labor of love for the sake of converting souls to the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church as handed down from St. Peter through Pope Pius XII.
We stand diametrically opposed to the Modernist trend made evident by the Second Vatican Council and all that has followed and now making itself so blatantly evident with the emergence of yet another false 'pope' in the line of the apostate Vatican 2 CONciLIAR anti-popes. Francis, better known as Mr. Jorge Bergoglio, has almost made it a habit of spewing heretical statements as a weekly occurrence. If you are now realizing this fact, it would behoove you to chip in and help those fighting in the trenches against the enemies of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Immaculate Mother Mary.
The main reason I've combined the two months of July and August into our Annual Summer Hiatus edition is for financial reasons. Bottom line: The cupboard is empty and I'm scrambling to pay bills. That means I might have to come out of retirement job-wise and, at 73 years of age, drive for Uber or find some means of financing to stay above water. I realize times are tough and we're all being squeezed by higher prices everywhere while getting inferior or reduced products on the grocery shelves. As they say, without a piece of bread there is no peace of mind. I'm already thin, having adopted the one meal a day Lenten fast year round out of habit and a shrunken stomach years ago. So I can survive on the basics for I eat to live, not live to eat. Nevertheless, the bill collectors aren't going to give me a pass because I've dedicated my life to the Lord. No, they'll come after me and this traditional apostolate with all the fury they can muster because of who we are. Remember the IRS witchhunt on conservative non-profits? We have been a bonafide 501c3 non-profit since 1994 with nothing to hide.
I find it so disheartening to see the obscene sums donated to corrupt politicians and yet so few give from their treasure to those non-profits like ours whose platform outlines everlasting life. It's truly an anomaly. We have our steady few benefactors that have been so loyal with monthly contributions ranging from maybe a dozen donations ranging from five, ten, and fifteen dollars each to a few twenty and twenty-five dollar gifts, two thirty dollar donations, one seventy dollar donation a few times a month, and one five-hundred dollar munificence a month. That adds up to around $850 a month with expenses over $1500 a month so you can see the predicament SANCTUS/DailyCatholic faces to make ends meet.
I've always been uncomfortable asking for money for our own causes. Yet, when I see the six figure amounts Novus Ordo editors and Executive Directors are garnering with nary a question as to its unbalanced impropriety, I wince. Our Lord has said "A laborer is worth his wages" but there's a balance there where the top honchos don't horde it all while proceeds for the very mission are sparced out. I've never believed one should charge for promoting the true Faith. That is why we've never gone the subscription route. That is why we don't run ads. We want to keep the DailyCatholic as pure as possible. I can also proudly claim, thanks to our own scrutiny and God's graces, that we have never published anything contrary to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church, and with confidence, can assure our readers that they are safe in the HomePort of the DailyCatholic pages as well as the links we provide for other trusted ports.
I'm struck with awe of the advice the great Doctor of the Church St. Augustine passed down regarding almsgiving that you see directly below.
"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need.?"
Please don't desert the DailyCatholic and this traditional apostolate of SANCTUS. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the traditional daily liturgy, devotional material, and inspirational articles we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide the Propers every day of the year and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. We've decided to focus more on these aspects of our Catholic Faith and, for the most part, link the polemics of what is happening today in the Church and state.
We urgently ask if you can contribute anything in these tight times, we would be so appreciative for the coffers are truly bare. Think of all the untold millions being thrown into the election process this year.If you've contributed to a campaign, can't you spare a crumb for this apostolate to convert apostates? If you are still in the category of the lukewarm, then you will pass over this plea and move on to the next thing that tickles your fancy. But if you truly want to commit, we offer you the opportunity below to put that commitment into action for the good of saving souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward a bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the CONciLIAR collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"? I thank you in advance for any donation you can send.

As we move into the first full week of July which is the month of the Most Precious Blood, we ask God to sanctify, save, inebriate, wash and strengthen us in the Anima Christi, and at every true Traditional Latin Mass when the priest, acting as alter Christus, consecrates the wine into the Blood of Christ after confecting the bread into the Body of Christ. We are also reminded in Sunday's Gospel of what many know in their hearts is right, but for some reason are afraid to admit. That is, since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII, the Catholic Church hasn't been the same. That's right, and Jesus tells us why. Because what poses as 'Catholic' today, governed by those usurping the authority in Rome and dioceses throughout the world, is a false church - a man-made religion that has eclipsed the true Church consigned in these times to the catacombs. Our Lord warns in St. Matthew 7: 15-20 to beware of the false prophets who may appear in clothing of sheep, but inwardly we must recognize them as ravening wolves or worse. If the faithful couldn't see the "abomination of desolation" (St. Matthew 24:15) and devious destruction of the true Faith during the regimes of the first five imposters since Pius' passing, they should surely see it now as Roman-born Argentine apostate Jorge Bergoglio continues his agenda to wipe out any vestiges of Catholic truth that would be offensive to non-Catholics in his Marxist mindset to please man, not God through his humanist efforts to form a One World Religion. If one reads St. Paul's warning in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11 and what many would do in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4, we can more readily see what Our Lord meant in St. Luke 18:8 when He asked rhetorically if there would be any one of faith left when He returns.
To see the path the current CONciLIAR church is on, all one needs to do is read chapters 17 and 18 of the Book of the Apocalypse. While Protestants point to those chapters - in what they call Revelation as being the Catholic Church - true Catholics realize it cannot possibly be because it is the Mystical Body of Christ as True Catholics know that the false church of Vatican 2 is the harlot of Babylon described in the words written on the isle of Patmos by the holy evangelist. To understand this further, we refer you to Sunday's sermon in the link above by Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI"By their fruits you shall know them", and Haydock Commentary "Bad trees are destined to perish" provided by John Gregory. We also remind you of all the proof located in the column to the right from true Popes, saints and documentation of all we say here. Don't take our word for it, see what the Church has decreed from the Apostles through Pius XII. If it was right and proper for salvation during that timespan, then it still is today and to hear or heed anything else is to ignore St. Paul's warning in Galatians 1: 8-10 to beware if even an angel were to tell you something else. What would they be? Anathema sit. Condemned.
With "Independence" Day this July 4, let us realize we are not independent, but totally dependent upon Jesus Christ our Sovereign King, and if we are duped into buying into the CONciLIAR religion of man, we will never be independent. We must work to restore all things in Christ. Below is a prayer sent in several years ago by Joe Omlor. It is a...
Prayer for the Conversion of the USA
Dear God, bring the Faith to our beloved country. It was once a virgin land wherein the only praise was that of the murmur of the Mass on the shores, the hills and the prairies. Zealous priests and explorers claimed it for Thee, giving Thy Holy Name to its rivers, lakes and cities. From east to west they traveled, from mission to mission, from Mass to Mass until the land was encircled by prayer and gave of its bounty to Thy glory. And now it is dedicated to Thy Immaculate Mother. May she find America again, as she once found the lost Child Jesus in the Temple. May she touch the hearts of our people, disposing them to receive the ancient faith, and thus showing them the things that are to their peace. We ask this of Thee through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Yes, to be truly independent we must free ourselves from the tyranny of the false church. Because the Modernist CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2 has opted to please man, it has opened itself to the world, the flesh, and the devil as Paul 6 boasted that satan was indeed in the sanctuary. Let us use this Saturday's Rosary Crusade to detach ourselves from such temptations and embrace the love of poverty in favor of gaining spiritual treasures.
Week Two Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
Today the blessed Scapular is shunned by so many as superstition in this new world where God is an afterthought as more buy into the false prophets warned of by St. Paul in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4 who more and more veer from Catholic truth in favoring man as the answer, never mind the divine. This is the message that pores out in the media, by most politicians, chiefly the man in the White House and the man occupying the Chair of Peter as well as more and more we are told everyone's saved. So why be Catholic? That is all the more reason to be Catholic, truly Catholic and that begins by not compromising one iota with all that has been foisted on the faithful from Vatican 2 on since that is totally adverse to divine revelation as the Apostle of the Gentiles alerts us in Galatians 1: 8-10. God's truths cannot change, nor can man create peace on earth without adhering to the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ under the only Church He founded under a true Vicar of Christ. That is something foreign both to the governments on this globe as well as the counterfeit church of conciliarism and countless thousands of other so called 'Christian' sects which were spawned over the last five centuries.
Towards the end of this week we celebrate the feast of the only Doctor of the Church for July, St. Bonaventure, followed on Friday with the feast of the holy Emperor St. Stephen of Hungary and then on Saturday we celebrate the 765th anniversary of the Brown Scapular being given to St. Simon Stock in 1251 for the entire Church Militant by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. For this day we bring you two features, first, a reflection by the renowned Abbe Dom Prosper Gueranger on the Lasting, Magnificence, Grace and Power of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel of how Mt. Carmel was the Bridge between the Old and New Testament; and secondly, Ava Bell weighs in with a Reality Check that the Brown Scapular is not a good luck charm and the grace of the Scapular only works if one is in the state of grace. She presents the Sabbatine Privilege, and on Mary's feast we recommit with an Act of Consecration on the final day of the Novena.
It's important to stay in the state of Sanctifying Grace. If one does, the Brown Scapular is definitely a protection to stay pure in body and soul as we see below for the intention of the Fourth Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade.
Week Three Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
There is no more vivid analogy of the money lenders in the temple in this Sunday's gospel than the Novus Ordo (read Bogus Ordo) churches (read lodges) today. This is the focus of the links above where John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary How dare thou anger God and Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI a sermon where he alerts all to Learn the Lesson from History to Persevere in the Faith. Just as the worldy had entered the Jewish temple, so also the world, eagerly prompted by the false pontiffs' own invitation to the world, had invaded the once-consecrated churches universally and turned them into a den of thieves. How you ask? By stealing the True Presence of Jesus Christ, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, from the faithful through the invalid, sacrilegious, blasphemous new 'mass' of Paul the Sick, already prefigured by one Angelo Roncalli and the notorious, nefarious Anibale Bugnini. The altars were stolen away and replaced with tables, ala Protestant and Masonic lodges. Where God resided in the tabernacles, now the seat of man took center place, thus replacing the Divine. From there it was katie-bar-the-door and anything-goes that has only grown worse over the years by the occupation of the apostates.
What every Catholic needs to do is examine their consciences thoroughly and then get thee to a confessional with a true Traditional Priest to hear their sins and absolve them. Realize if those ordained after 1968 are not true priests (and they are not because of what Paul 6 dared to alter), then they cannot forgive sins and confer Sanctifying Grace any more than you or I. That is just one of the many fall-outs of those who have turned our consecrated churches into unconsecrated dens of thieves.
We hope and pray every Catholic will take these words to heart, pray for the gift of true wisdom as the intention for the Fifth Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade suggests...and get thee to confession to receive the healing Sacrament of Penance.
Week Four Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
In this month of the Most Precious Blood, how fitting that we have one week where four who personally saw and walked with Jesus Christ and were always faithful to Him. Those we speak of are first St. James the Greater, one of the first Apostles chosen by Our Lord, and St. Christopher who carried the Christ Child across a swollen river. On Tuesday we honor the mother of the Mother of God, St. Anne, who was the grandmother of Jesus and played a significant role in aiding Mary during His early years. On Friday we celebrate St. Martha who waited on and served her Master as recorded in the Sacred Scriptures.
All the saints above practiced the virtue of humility, the focus of the Gospel for the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost. True humility begins in the infirmary of Divine Mercy with the Sacrament of Penance for it is not easy confessing our sins to another human. It takes humbleness before God to accept what Jesus proclaimed in St. John 20: 23, Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained." Begin now with a thorough Examination of Conscience by clicking on the confessional to the right. Being sincerely contrite for our sins is the intention for the Sixth Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade.
Week Five Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
This week begins with the Gospel of St. Mark on Our Lord healing the deaf and dumb man. We celebrate the feast Monday of St. Peter in Chains and the Seven Holy Machabees (more on them later). In a sense, the man was transfigured and believed after the healing. On Tuesday we honor one of the most devout servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary with the feast of the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Alphonsus Liguori, followed two days later by the founder of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans) and recipient of Mary's holy Psalter - the holy Rosary - St. Dominic. Friday is the Dedication of Our Lady of the Snows, a miracle in itself, and on Saturday one of the great miracles recorded in the Gospels: the Transfiguration of Our Lord.
Tying in the theme of the Gospel and the Transfiguration, most Catholics need a transfiguration of the mind and soul, then the heart to realize they've been blinded by blind obedience to those who do not uphold the infrangible truths of the holy Catholic Church. Even when the facts are presented to them they remain deaf and dumb to these facts. So afraid are they to leave their comfort zone that there is no possible way for being transfiguring back to the true Sacraments. It takes grace to truly want the scales removed from one's eyes and to truly see. Then, encouraged by grace to speak out for the truths. Taking the commemoration of the Seven Holy Machabees, a good start to opening those senses is to read the Book of Machabees, specifically 1 Machabees 1: 57-62, and realize what happened in the Old Testament has been repeated today with Modernism and the apostate false 'popes' of the CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2. A word to the wise, no matter your zeal, follow St. Paul's words in 2 Timothy 4: 2 and 5 and, above all, be patient - on which the intention for the Seventh Saturday below focuses.
Week Six Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
The Gospel for the Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost focuses on the Good Samaritan who tended to the poor wayfarer when no one else would. It reminds us that the greatest love we can show in fulfilling the two greatest commandments Our Lord speaks of is to want our neighbor in Heaven. Therefore the true Good Samaritan does not only concern himself with the Corporal Works of Mercy, but emphasizes the Spiritual Works of Mercy. We should follow St. Paul's advice in 2 Timothy 4: 2 and 5 as well as be prepared as he counsels in Ephesians 6: 11-18. We must entreat, rebuke and always convey the unadulterated truths of our holy Faith no matter the consequences, even if it means isolating ourselves from the Novus Ordo camp by adhering to the truths and traditions passed down for two millennia, and deviated from so devastingly by the Modernist agenda of Vatican 2 and beyond. That is why we call upon the intercession of the saints, especially this week Sts. Jean Marie Vianney, Lawrence, and Clare as well as the forgotten virgin St. Philomena whose Novena continues up to her feast on August 11. With that in mind, we also say below:
It really doesn't make a difference what Bergoglio says for he has no authority per Pope Paul IV's infallible decree Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio and Jorge's dislike for the Traditional Latin Mass is no surprise considering his Modernist Marxist track record, despite his fauning false humility. He, along with all the false CONciLIAR 'popes' fail to realize - or have blatantly ignored - Pope St. Pius V's infallible decree codifying the dogmatic decrees of Trent, specifically the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass that if anyone dared to alter what occurred on the altar they would incur automatic excommunication latae sententiae. Ergo, one who is excommunicated can never be a true pope. Ergo, wake up "Recognize and Resist" folks and realize the sedevacantists are right. Note also what he said above left. So true. Prime evidence: Vatican Two. For it was lukewarm Catholics who blindly followed their leaders without truly knowing their Faith. Had they, the Modernists would never have seen the light of day. For the decree that a holy Pope said the true Latin Mass must be said in perpetuity, see Quo Primum.
Click above to see what the true Apostolic Canonical Traditional Latin Mass truly means and why St. Pius V's words will stand until eternity.
Oh, how far the Jesuits have fallen in modernist times from the Order itself to the poorest excuse of a member of the Society of Jesus - one Mr. Jorge Bergoglio. All would be wise to comprehend the following, especially those who subscribe to the Resist and Recognize camp, because the following is from Johannes Baptiste Cardinal Franzelin, one of the leading Jesuit theologians of the nineteenth century and recorded in De Ecclesia on the "Thesis on the Perpetuity of the Papacy":
"It is necessary to distinguish between the See and its occupants...in considering the subject of its 'perpetuity', The See...is a perpetual right of primacy...and never ceases to conserve...the power which was established by God for the individual successors of Peter. But the individual occupants of the Apostolic See are mortal men, and for this reason, though the See can never fail, it can be vacant, and indeed often is vacant. At such times the...institution of perpetuity certainly remains...but...actually belongs to no one."
Week Seven Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
The theme of the Gospel for the Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost centers on giving thanks and we should all give thanks for God sending us His Blessed Mother Mary and give thanks that this Living Tabernacle was lifted into Heaven at her Assumption after her dormition, yet still free to communicate with souls in Heaven's special way. The Solemnity of the Assumption is the apex of the month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Of course, Monday is a Holy Day of Obligation. It is vital to realize that Pope Pius XII officially declared ex cathedra the Dogma of the Assumption on November 1, 1950. It was the last infallible dogmatic proclamation ushered from Rome bar none.
During the week within the Octave of the Assumption we honor first on Tuesday Mary's holy earth father St. Joachim, then St. Hyacinth followed on Friday by St. John Eudes and end the week with the feast of the holy Abbot and Doctor of the Church St. Bernard of Clairvaux, Crusading Hammer of Heretics and Mentor of the Memorare, the beautiful Prayer to Mary for her intercession. which he composed. All of these saints had in their hearts the love of the holy Cross of Christ and willingly took up their crosses daily. That is the intention for the Ninth Saturday below.
Week Eight Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
The devil always assaults the good soul on feasts of Our Lady because he hates Christ's Immaculate Mother Mary so much for she is the one who will crush his head (cf. Genesis 3:15). Personally, we can't wait for that glorious moment!
We begin on August 22 a bouquet of 50 Ave's representing a full Rosary taken from St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort's magnificent The Secret of the Rosary that we will carry daily with a subsequent rose up through the Divine Maternity on October 11 in the month of the Most Holy Rosary as we honor the Blessed Mother throughout these three months dedicated to her.
This week we honor an Apostle St. Bartholomew, a holy King St. Louis IX, and two confessors Sts. Philip Benizi on Tuesday, and St. Joseph Calasantius on Saturday when we also keep in mind the command from Our Lord to love our enemies. Not an easy thing to do, especially when they want to denigrate our Faith and even kill us. In fact, the greatest love we can show our enemies is to tell them the truth that there is only one true Faith established by the Son of God, the only One who rose from the dead. Arian is dead and ain't coming back! Mohammed is dead and ain't coming back! Martin Luther, John Calvin and Huldrych Zwingli are all dead and ain't coming back! John Smith is dead and ain't coming back! There is only one Who died and rose again and IS coming back: Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and He's coming back to judge the living and the dead. The best way we can make enemies our everlasting friends is not through dialogue or compromise, but preaching the truth so they can thank us in Heaven.
Week Nine Click on the date below for that day's traditional liturgy.
We complete the final week of this Annual Summer Hiatus Edition with a cornucopia of feasts as you see above. We begin on the 15th Sunday after Pentecost with the feast of St. Augustine, the holy Doctor of the Church who could very well have been one of the biggest sinners, but through the tireless perseverance of prayer by his mother St. Monica, he became one of the biggest of saints. Think Saul becoming St. Paul. He was a crusader against the disastrous Arian heresy of his time, and, like another holy Doctor St. Athanasius, was swimming upstream against the majority. So also today Traditional Catholics fight upstream against the heresy of Modernism which is "the synthesis of all heresies" as the the holy Pope St. Pius X, whose feast we celebrate on Saturday, September 3, decreed in his encyclical Pascendi Domenici Gregis, along with two other landmark decrees against the horrendous heresy of Modernism Lamentabili Sane and the Oath Against Modernism. The latter was a mandatory oath every priest took up until the devil put a stop to such a safeguard when the vile Paul 6 eliminated this necessity to preserve the Faith.
Most would think Pope St. Pius X's forceful take-no-prisoners decrees would have corraled the offenders, but they went underground as all snakes do, and plotted. The result, tragically as we can see now, was the Second Vatican Council where the serpent slithered in and made his satanic soul at home in the sanctuary as his venom spread throughout the CONciLIAR structure that had usurped the true Church. We know that the CONciLIAR church does not serve God the way He has instructed His Church; ergo this Vatican 2 entity must serve another, giving credence to what Jesus says in Matthew 6: 24-33 for the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost, "No man can serve two masters for he will hate the one and love the other, or he will sustain the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." There it is! It's One or the other. No exceptions. You can't straddle the fence. Either you are 100% Catholic or you're not Catholic! Period. Which do you choose? You must have full fidelity to all the holy Catholic Church teaches because Christ has revealed them, Who canst neither deceive or be deceived. If you have been deceived in any way, it's time to re-focus and see which Master you are serving. If it's not Jesus and His one true Church from St. Peter through His Holiness Pope Pius XII, you had better do a self-examination and pray for the grace to truly see your path will lead to a dead end. That is why the intention is so important for the Eleventh Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade: Faith, for without faith you have nothing!
Finally, as we said above: it has to be said. As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. We remind you of the advice of the holy Doctor of the Church we celebrate this week Saint Augustine on almsgiving:
"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need.?"
You don't have to take our word for it as to the spiritual benefits of almsgiving, but we urge you to listen to one of the wisest of Church Doctors. Therefore, if you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line, and remind you that your donation is tax deductible.

To fortify why the CONciLIAR church is the false church, see key Papal Decrees that preceded it in pre-Vatican Two times by true Popes who solidly condemned the V2 false 'popes' who have spit in Heaven's Face. God will not be mocked. See for yourself what the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church has decreed:
If the above Papal Decrees have not convinced you, then for more evidence that the Chair is VACANT and that Vatican Two and all that has followed is Anathema sit as St. Paul asserts in Galatians 1: 8-9, see these on-line books and sources:

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA
There are countless souls who have no one to pray the Rosary with, many who have no access to a Traditional Latin Mass parish. That is why Mt. St. Michael parishioner Tom Gillbrough began Rosary Conference Call nearly a year ago in order to offer a way folks can call in and pray along the Holy Rosary each night. The Rosary begins at 10 p.m. EDT, 9 p.m. CDT, 8 p.m. MDT and 7 p.m. PDT where Tom is located in Spokane. The calls are free. All one needs to do is dial 712-775-7031 then follow the prompt 393-323# and you'll be connected. You are asked to call in five to ten minutes before the hour so the Rosary can start on time. You can find out more at Rosary Call
The Rosary is the chief weapon we have at our disposal 7/24. But it's about time those of us who rail that we haven't had a true Pope since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958 get off the snide and do something about it. No, we can't elect a pope, but we can sure pray that Heaven will intercede via divine intervention and send us, in the only way God knows, a true pope to end the Great Apostasy and resurrect the true Roman Catholic Church that has been in eclipse over the last 58 years. This is the mission of a special website recruiting souls to commit to one day a month to pray for a true pope. You'll note that the wording is "pray for a pope" not "the pope" because the last six occupants have been imposters, false popes, anti-popes. The power of the Rosary has worked so many times when there is strength in numbers. Just remember Pope St. Pius V's plea for victory at Lepanto. It can happen again. We just have to have faith, conviction, and action in storming Heaven. Remember, Jesus cannot say no to His Blessed Mother. Contact Sign Up to Pray for a Pope and for more see Pray for a Pope
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within Thy wounds, hide me.
Permit me to never be separated from Thee.
From the malicious enemy, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
And bid me to come to unto Thee
That with Thy Saints I may praise Thee
Forever and ever. Amen.
Anima Christi, sanctifica me.
Corpus Christi, salva me.
Sanguis Christi, inebria me.
Aqua lateris Christi, lava me.
Passio Christi, conforta me.
O bone Iesu, exaudi me.
Intra Tua vulnera absconde me.
Ne permittas me separari a Te.
Ab hoste maligno defende me.
In hora mortis meae voca me.
Et iube me venire ad Te,
Ut cum Sanctis tuis laudem te
in saecula saeculorum. Amen.
Prayer Before the Crucifix
Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

The Fatima Prayers
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!
O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.
MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Amen.

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
Grant unto us, Thy servants, we beseech Thee, O Lord God, at all times to enjoy health of soul and body; and by the glorious intercession of Blessed Mary, ever virgin, when freed from the sorrows of this present life, to enter into that joy which hath no end. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary...
And the Word was made flesh.
And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary...
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae.
Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructis ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Ecce ancilla Domini.
Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

Et habitavit in nobis.
Ave Maria...
Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genitrix.
Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.
Oremus.
Amen.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle;
be our defense against the wickedness
and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray.
And do thou,
O prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God
thrust into hell
Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world
for the ruin of souls. Amen.
Sancte Michael Archangele,
defende nos in proelio,
contra nequitiam
et insidias diaboli esto praesidium.
Imperet illi Deus,
supplices deprecamur:
tuque,
Princeps militiae caelestis,
Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos,
qui ad perditionem animarum
pervagantur in mundo,
divina virtute,
in infernum detrude. Amen.
