Wow, where has the time gone? It seemed like just yesterday that we began publishing a Xerox sheet back in 1989 with a four page Call To Peace, translating that into a twelve, then a twenty-four page tabloid, even in four color throughout the next seven years until we realized the future was on the net. Thus in 1996 we launched out into the deep on the world wide web with the Catholic-Internet site, learning the html code when there were no WYSIWYG programs yet out there. Believe me it was like learning Greek, and I would know, laboring through two years of Greek. Thank you, but I prefer Latin. Something about those Romance Languages. Yet it was important to know Greek for it is the root of so much etimology.

It has been quite a journey, one that we have chronicled before in moving from being a conservative Novus Ordo Catholic, falsely thinking John Paul II was being duped and when he found out how bad the bishops were, that he'd put an end to the heresies and anathemas. It took much prayer and grace to realize how duped we really were, not realizing until 2000 that he was the problem. More prayer and astute, meticulous studying of all the Councils and Papal Decrees and, comparing them to Vatican II and all that has passed since, we realized it was a big problem. So much so that we further connected the dots to realize, to our horror, that we have not had a true Roman Pontiff since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII. From that moment on we have declared ourselves sedevacantists and as every day passes, we are ever more convinced of that theological opinion since the alternative would mean the Mystical Body of Christ can err, and that is impossible. If that were possible, then Christ lied. We know He did not, and we know the men who have occupied the Chair of Peter, which we celebrated Saturday, preach the exact opposite of much of what was upheld faithfully for 2000 years.

It was never easy. But Jesus never said it would be. We lost many supporters when we did declare what eventually every Catholic will have to admit. It was a lonely path we took, but the only path. Had we been in this apostolate for the money, believe me that would have been the worst move to make, but we declared because it was the Catholic action God expects of all of us. It is what St. Paul, whose Conversion we celebrate this Saturday, counseled us in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14, for you see he laid out in verses 3-11 of the same epistle the very scenario we are faced with today in this time of the Great Apostasy. Paul also imparted to St. Timothy, whose feast we celebrate on Friday, to "Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine. For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: and will turn away their hearings from the truth, but will be turned into fables. But be thou vigilant, labor in all things, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry. Be sober" (2 Timothy 4: 2-5).

That is our charge here at the DailyCatholic. However, not just us, but everyone of you out there has a responsibility to do what Paul advises, what Christ commands in St. Matthew 28: 19-20, St. Mark 16: 15-16, and St. John 21: 15-17. It is up to us the laity to perpetuate the Faith. This is the exercise of true charity. To imagine, as do the liberal ecumenists of our day in the CONciLIAR V2 church, that we can achieve "unity" by pretending that those outside the Church do not stand in desperate need of conversion, is to deny the foundation of Christ's True Church, and to renounce the very reason for the heroic apostolic labors and martyrdom of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. We show evidence of this appeasement throughout the week in photos of the false 'popes' who have perpetuated this heresy.

This week is an ideal week to revigorate and reinforce what we must do: Speak out for the truth no matter the consequences. The hell with being politically correct, we need to be CC, Christ-correct. That means standing up for the sanctity of life and doing all we can physically and spiritually do to overturn Roe vs. Wade. Not everyone can take the time nor are they near an area where many will march for the Sanctity of Life, either in Washington D.C. or in a city near you. If it is not possible to attend, or to pray the Rosary outside an abortuary, pray your Rosaries at home and trend on twitter with the hashtag #PrayToEndAbortion. Trend this on Wednesday from 1 p.m. EST, noon in the Central Time Zone, 11 a.m. MST, and 10 in the morning for the Pacific Standard Time. What will it prove or result in? Who knows, but God will and that's all that counts.

We began on Saturday the Chair of Church Unity Octave Week in which we pray each day that all may be one, but not in the ecumaniacal way of Vatican II where the True Church of Christ merely "subsists in" the Church with other churches on a live and let live level, but in praying and wanting all to realize the errors of their way and convert to the True Faith practiced from Peter through Pius XII. Pray for the collapse of the CONciLIAR church and the restoration of the true Roman Catholic Church. Remember Our Lady's words at Fatima, "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph." I guarantee you it will not be through the current occupants of Rome, but through her divine Son's remnant Church now relegated to the catacombs. Below is the daily prayer during this week for true unity.
PRAYER  FOR   THE   CHURCH   UNITY   OCTAVE
      (Official Octave Prayer)

ANTIPHON (from St. John 17: 21)

"That they all may be one, as Thou, Father, in Me and I in Thee; that they also may be one in Us; that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me."

        V. I say unto thee that thou art Peter
        R. And upon this Rock I will build My Church.

Let us pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, Who saidst unto Thine Apostles: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; regard not our sins, but the faith of Thy Church, and vouchsafe to grant unto Her that peace and unity which are agreeable to Thy Will. Who livest and reignest God forever and ever. Amen.

An indulgence of 300 days during the octave of prayers for the unity of the Church, from the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter in Rome to the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. A Plenary Indulgence on the usual conditions at the end of the devout exercise.

Finally, we continue bringing you the inspirational revelations imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden with Chapters Sixty-Four through Sixty-Seven as well as two thoughtful reflections by the imcomparable Abbe Dom Prosper Gueranger in addition to a slew of articles in commiserating the Forty-First Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, which, ironically coincides with the eclipse of the true Church by those who foisted Vatican 2 reforms on the faithful.

For those who have asked how my bride Cyndi is doing, there really is no change. She continues under home hospice care. She has her good days and bad days, offering everything up. We still struggle with the bills, but we place it all in God's hands and, again, inform you our readers that we cannot publish if donations do not increase. It gets so tiresome mentioning that it's the same loyal benefactors who always answer the call, but few others. Ask yourself why? Ask yourself if you do not have a duty before God to help those who labor in the field for Jesus and His True Church with no compromises to the false faith, the "mystery of iniquity" that has deceived so many. Is your heart that hardened that you wouldn't give for a worthy cause? Is not pledging a monthly donation worth it for perpetuating the one true Faith? The answer can only be determined by you and what you deem to be generous and worthy.

In the Gospel for the Second Sunday After Epiphany it gives us a figure of the transubstantiation, which St. Thomas calls the greatest of all miracles, and by reason of which the Eucharistic wine becomes the blood of the testament. And as it is the Eucharist which enables Jesus to consummate, as Bossuet has it, His mystical marriage with our souls, the Fathers have seen in the wedding feast of Cana a symbol of the union of the Word with the Church. Blessed Mary, full of the charity of which the Epistle speaks, asks of Jesus His first miracle on behalf of the bridegroom and bride who are in trouble because "they have no wine" for their guests (Gospel).

Her power as Mother of God is so great that, at her request, Jesus anticipates the hour appointed for the "manifestation of His divinity" to His disciples so that He also places His power at the service of His love. Six water-pots, which were used for the cleansing of bands during meals, are filled to the brim; and, after the miracle, the chief steward who was in charge of the arrangements for the feast, with all the knowledge that was his, declared the new wine to be exceptionally good. Confronted by this proof of the divinity of Jesus," His disciples believed in Him" (Gospel). By the Mass which washes away our sins (Secret) and the communion which enables the almighty power of Jesus to transform our souls (Postcommunion), let us ...More

Each Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation we feature the Haydock Commentary provided by John Gregory as compiled by Father George Leo Haydock and found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. With the type so small in most bibles, we publish it here in larger type in conjunction with the Epistle and Gospel for the Sunday Mass. For the Second Sunday after Epiphany, the topic is love and miracles with the Wedding Feast of Cana in which Christ performed His first public miracle and the Haydock Commentary treats the whys and wherefores of the loving relationship between Mother and Son and His willingness to honor her by changing water into wine, a precursor to the transubstantiation of the wine into the Blood of Christ at the Consecration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the most loving gift He could bestow to His children whom St. Paul entreats in his epistle to love one another as our Lord loves us. The First Miracle

Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph's Minor Seminary in Rathdrum, Idaho at the City of Mary presents his 20 minute sermon from the Second Sunday after Epiphany given last year in which he shares why Catholics should develop a devotion to Mary for it through her that Jesus can say no to whatever we ask if it is pleasing to God. Father also points out that the first miracle was tied in to the holy Sacrament of Marriage for that is the keystone of God's plan for salvation in perpetuating the Faith and populating Heaven. When marriage breaks down, so also does society as we can see today where divorce and same-sex unions destroy the very fabric of all God intended. Father explains in his sermon Our Lady's Intercession and Marriage

There are still some who are under the impression that the Week for Christian Unity, which lasts from the Double Major Feast of St. Peter's Chair at Rome on January 18th until the Double Major Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul on January 25th, is a concoction of the Vatican II church. Au contraire, for it had been in vogue prior to Vatican II for true oecumenism - conversion, if you will and the antiphon prayer we pray daily illustrates this because it definitely does not call for dialogue but rather conversion to the True Faith by those outside the Faith. For more, see Church Unity Octave Week

As we pray in the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "Turn Thine eyes of mercy toward the children of that race, once Thy chosen people: of old they called down upon themselves the Blood of the Savior; may it now descend upon them a laver of redemption and of life." Also, each Good Friday we pray in the Solemn Prayers as we "pray for the perfidious Jews, that our Lord and God may take away the veil from their hearts, so that they, too, may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord. Almighty, eternal God." Unfortunately, what Christ and His Church passed down through divine Revelation has been altered and Fr. Josef Ratzinger was one of the first to recognize that the Jews' wait for the Messias is not in vain, which, of course, would mean Christ was a liar and the Church is false. We know that is sheer anathema and pure insanity, but those who subscribe to the aberration of abominable Vatican II document Nostra Aetate have made themselves apostates in every way and made themselves puppets of the Zionists. Pray for them and the conversion of the Jews to recognize Christ is their King because He is the Son of God and their only means of salvation. See Day Two of Church Unity Octave

The two great Roman martyrs, Fabian and Sebastian, made manifest the first in 250 in the persecution of Decius, the second in 284 in that of Diocletian, the divine power of Christ "who operated wonders in them (Gradual). The ancient martyrologies unite their names. The appearance of the Holy Ghost, in the form of a dove, had attested the divinity of Jesus on the day of His Baptism. It was also a dove hovering above Fabian that pointed him out to the Church as vicar of Jesus Christ. St. Sebastian, an officer of the imperial household and commander of a cohort, encouraged his brothers in arms subjected to torments on account of their faith. Diocletian ordered him to be pierced with arrows. Sebastian, having escaped death, reappeared before the emperor and reproached him with his ...More

In Chapter Sixty-Four of Book Four of the Prophesies and Revelations of St. Bridget of Sweden, Our Lady returns to instruct the bride on why God allows His children to fall into the hands of the impious. She does so by comparing her divine Son our Lord Jesus Christ to a poor peasant, who carries a birch-rod both to flog the undisciplined child who had disobeyed and to provide the rods for the warmth of the fire to comfort His family. So also the Lord carries the rod, aka the cross for each of us and we need to discipline ourselves or we could fall and be enticed by the wicked ways of the world and be captured by the wiles of the impious. But God offers the warmth of His love to welcome us back once we have learned from our mistakes for He allows this to occur to both good and bad alike, and when they return they are closer toward the goal of purification and reward. Do not spare the rod.

As we pray in the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "Be Thou King of all those who are still involved in the darkness of idolotry or of Islamism; refuse not to draw them all into the light and kingdom of God." Also, pray for the quitter Fr. Josef Ratzinger and the man he enabled Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis and the rest of the conciliar apostates - living and dead, who have caused so much scandal - that they will be converted and realize there is only one true Faith with the fruits of what you see above of what Christ offers through the only Church He established on this earth. Pray for the collapse of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and the scandalous acts committed over the past 50 years such as top representatives of that false institution giving credence to false religions by entering their mosques and/or kissing the Koran. This is outright apostasy of the enth degree. See Day Three of Church Unity Octave

Martyred for her faith at the early age of twelve, Saint Agnes was one of the youngest-known named martyrs in the Communion of Saints. She was born into a wealthy Roman aristocratic family and was remarkable for her beauty as a child. But the true beauty was interior and as a youth she vowed to live a life of purity and chastity, consecrating herself as a virgin. Even though she was not yet a teen, Roman suitors courted her trying to seduce her but she refused all advances. Word reached the Roman Emperor Diocletian who was relentless in his persecution of Christians. Rather than killing her right away, Diocletian's men sought to discredit her by making her a prostitute and that would further discredit Christianity and dissuade others from becoming Christians. Naturally Agnes rejected all advances and refused to give in to the sins of the flesh. This further infuriated Diocletian and his cohorts who dragged her before the governor. He ordered that she be thrown into the fire. God preserved her ...More

St. Thomas a Kempis composed several prayers in his life including three prayers that carry an Indulgence of 300 days as well as the following: O sweet Saint Agnes, I earnestly implore thy compassion and commend myself to thy prayers. O noble virgin, thou didst despise all earthly things and prefer the love of Christ to the glory of the world. Death was welcome to thee, and the holy angels were waiting for thy soul to convey it into the joys of Paradise, where, adorned with the martyr's palm, thou didst arrive at the nuptials of the heavenly Spouse. I too seek Him; deign to intercede for me that He may grant me health of mind and body, restrain the temptations of the devil, extinguish the desires of the flesh, give me time for true repentance and amendment of life, grant me the remission of all my sins, together with grace to make a good end and a happy death. Amen. For the three special prayers, see Prayers to Saint Agnes

In Chapter Sixty-Five of Book Four of the Prophesies and Revelations of St. Bridget of Sweden, Our Lady speaks again to the bride, this time of the need to hear and speak the truth boldly, for he who is silent will not be rewarded. Rather, he will find punishment. What the Mother of God is conveying is that we can never be content to rest on the sidelines, but that we are her Knights in the Church Militant and we must defend the Castle, which is the Holy Catholic Church, even from within. These words hit home all the more in our time of the Great Apostasy when the Castle has been breached and commandeered by heretics who have heard the truth in the teachings of the Church, but have refused to act or follow Church doctrine or are lax in following through. There will be a great price to pay for such lack of commitment. But those who stand for the truth at all times no matter the cost or opposition, will be greatly rewarded. It is a reconfirmation that what Sedevacantists have been saying is correct and we cannot afford to be silent for we do not want to forfeit the reward God has for those loyal to Him and His True Church. Defending the Castle.

As we pray in the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "Be Thou King of those who are deceived by erroneous opinions, or whom discord keeps aloof; call them back to the harbor of truth and unity of faith, so that soon there may be but one flock and one Shepherd," so also, pray for the quitter Fr. Josef Ratzinger and the man he enabled Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis and the rest of the conciliar apostates - who have caused so much scandal by appeasing rather than converting - that they will be converted and realize there is only one true Faith with the fruits of the holy Apostles Saints Peter and Paul and what Christ offers through the only Church He established on earth. Pray for the collapse of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and the scandalous acts committed over the past 50 years such as vulgarizing those Eastern churches that were in union with Eternal Rome and are now in cahoots with Modernist Rome. Compromise is not and never has been in Christ's lexicon. See Day Four of Church Unity Octave

Like the saints whose feasts preceded him in January, St. Vincent, (not to be confused with St. Vincent de Paul), was born in Spain in the 3rd Century. and became archdeacon in Saragoza where Our Lady first appeared in 40 AD. He was a great orator and did more than his share of preaching since his bishop, Valerian had a speech impediment. The Romans caught wind of his evangelizing and reported to Diocletian who ordered Dacian the president of that region to silence the saint. Dacian chose the horrendous torture tactic of the rack, stretching Vincent's body asunder. Yet no form of torture could steal Vincent's joy at suffering for Christ. When the rack failed, Dacian tore his flesh with hooks then bound him to a seat of burning iron. When that failed, lard and salt were rubbed into his open wounds. Yet through it all he kept his eyes focused joyfully toward Heaven. Finally, in desperation, Dacian had him thrown into a dungeon locking his feet in a tight stock. But again God intervened, sending His angels to unloose the shackle and inform this brave saint that his reward would be great. Dacian never had the satisfaction of torturing Vincent again for this persevering saint died peacefully before being sentenced again. His bravery and the wonders of his stamina effected many conversions after his death. Upon his death, faithful carried away pieces of his cloths soaked with his blood. His relics are preserved today in an Augustinian monastery in Lisbon. It's a reminder to us all that no matter the opposition, if we keep our eyes and heart focused on the same goal Vincent strove for, nothing can harm our soul. ...More

Here we go again. Each year for the past 41 years we've had to commiserate the devastating Roe vs. Wade decision that has taken the lives of countless souls who never had a chance. As the numbers above note, think of what might have been had those children lived. Would we be in the terrible straits we're in today? Only God knows, but we do know that abortion is one of the four sins that cries to Heaven for vengeance. Perhaps it's fitting that this date falls falls during a string of eight consecutive days commemorating holy martyrs of the Church from Friday's feast of St. Peter through the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul and the actual date of the 'Supreme' Court's ruling being the feast of the holy martyrs Sts. Vincent and Anastasius today. The point being that, though the Church does not recognize unborn babies as baptized, we can hope they will fall into the same category as the Holy Innocents who were also not baptized by water but by Baptism of Blood, something the Church has always taught. It really is hypocritical that the Obama Administration and liberal media are so concerned for the "safety and welfare of the children" while being so blatantly pro-abort. What better safety and welfare of the child is there than to protect that baby in the womb? Ah, but there is the rub. Pro-aborts cry out "women's choice" and if they want to choose choice, then be prepared when God so chooses at their particular judgment and it will not go well with them. Therefore, we must continue to want them to recant and repent. Their hollow campaign of saving the children is all a smoke-screen to kill more by not only banning guns but by banning free speech and silencing those who speak out against the sins like abortion and sodomy. We must speak for the silent ones and do so from the rooftops as the authors below have done.

To commiserate the 41st Anniversary of the abominable Roe vs. Wade decision, we present sixteen gems from the past by a former writer Gabriel Garnica, who contributed columns to the DailyCatholic on the horrendous Holocaust in the Womb that continues unabated. While Republican and Democrat (or should that be Demoncrat?!) politicians and ConciLIAR potentates may pause to give lip service, in truth no one is doing anything. All words and no action and the murders continue. The best way to show that the names may change regarding those in charge, it is still the same ol' same ol' stall and shuffle. It's all about the money and it's all about being totally shackled to satan. Those assisting are the devil's delight. Gabriel explained in his columns below that ran from 2004 to 2007:

As we pray in the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee; grant that they may quickly return to their Father's house lest they die of wretchedness and hunger," so also, pray for the abdicator Fr. Josef Ratzinger and the man he enabled Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis who is advancing his Marxist principles to please Protestants everywhere as the rest of the conciliar apostates follow this false pied piper closer to the abyss. Pray that, rather than appeasing Protestants, they will be converted - along with those who call themselves Christians - and realize what they have created with Vatican II is not Catholic, but rather Protestant in every way except name. Pray they will truly understand there is only one true Faith with the fruits of what you see above the icon of Sts. Peter and Paul of what Christ offers through the only Church He established on earth. Pray for the collapse of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and the scandalous acts committed over the past 50 years such as compromising and accepting Martin Luther who was wrong then and is still wrong now. The infallible tenets of the Council of Trent affirmed that. See Day Five of Church Unity Octave

Born in 1175 of a noble Spanish family, Raymond, at the age of twenty, taught philosophy in Barcelona with marvelous success. Ten years later his rare abilities won for him the degree of Doctor in the University of Bologna, accompanied by many high dignities. A tender devotion to our Blessed Lady, which had increased within him from childhood, determined him in his mature years to renounce all his honors and to enter Her Order of Saint Dominic. There a vision of the Mother of Mercy instructed him to cooperate with his penitent Saint Peter Nolasco, and with James, King of Aragon, in founding the Order of Our Lady of Ransom for the redemption of captives. He began this great work by preaching a crusade against the Moors, and by rousing to penance the Christians enslaved in both soul and body by the infidels. The king of Aragon, a man of great qualities but governed by a ruling passion, often took Saint Raymond with him on his voyages. On one such occasion, when they were visiting the island of ...More

In Chapter Sixty-Six of Book Four of the Prophesies and Revelations of St. Bridget of Sweden, the Blessed Virgin Mary continues to impart wisdom to the bride, this time using the brief analogy of a sluice gate, where a water channel is controlled by a gate. The sluice gate is our conscience, and Our Lady advises Bridget that it is alright to possess temporal goods so that some water seeping through is not bad as long as we do not flood our passions imprudently. The sluice gate governs how we will filter out the bad by letting it flow out into the lower regions of carnal desires, where we banish it from our minds, whereas the upper water we keep by damming up our concupiscence through relying on the inspirations of God and the words of the saints to block out the rush of temptations. This monitoring is vital in this time when there are so few safeguards for souls so vulnerable to the world, the flesh and the devil. Keeper of the Sluice Gate.

As we pray in the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee; grant that they may quickly return to their Father's house lest they die of wretchedness and hunger," so also, pray for Fr. Josef Ratzinger who bailed on Christ long ago and pray also for the man he helped put in charge, the man who never met a pagan he didn't admire - one Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis who has mesmirized as in a trance the world and the rest of the conciliar apostates. Pray that they will be converted and realize what they have created with Vatican II is not Catholic, but rather Protestant in every way except name. Pray they will truly understand there is only one true Faith with the fruits of what you see above the icon of Sts. Peter and Paul of what Christ offers through the only Church He established on earth. In Chapter Sixty-Seven of Book Four of the Prophesies and Revelations of St. Bridget of Sweden, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns to share with the bride how all things proceed according to His designs in revealing His magnificence. He confides that it is the woman He created to give birth and just as a tree's seeds give birth to a good tree to grow strong, tall and fruitful, so also bad seeds planted will produce an evil tree, a bitter tree as He explains that can produce nothing but bitter fruit. That is why by God's design He allows free choice for the sinner to make just as He freely gives the devil enough rope to hang himself as well as those who willingly follow God's adversary. To those who are faithful to Christ, there will be good fruit through and through, through the seeds of virtues, whereas those who veer will find beneath the skin of the fruit of their work, bitterness and thorns, rotting fruit that turns to vice, as He reminded us in the Gospel of St. Matthew 7: 15-20 that is destined for the inferno of hell. That is why we must always be on our guard and nourish the good tree of our souls so that grace can protect us from disease of the soul, which is mortal sin. Planting the seeds of virtue.

As we pray in the Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "Be Thou King, O Lord, not only of the faithful who have never forsaken Thee, but also of the prodigal children who have abandoned Thee; grant that they may quickly return to their Father's house lest they die of wretchedness and hunger.," so also, pray for all those trapped in the counterfeit church of conciliarism who have so disrespected the integrity of the Holy Eucharist and do not realize they are not receiving Jesus, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity at Communion time because their presbyters (all who were installed as 'priests' after 1978) cannot confect the Sacrament any more than any of our readers could and this goes for 90% of the Novus Ordo clergy all the way to cardinals and bishops'. A truly tragic state of affairs, so obvious and evident with Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis totally eschewing anything traditional and embracing the world in such a scandalous manner. Pray for them and their clergy to realize the grave error they have swallowed by adhering to the false tenets of Vatican II and recognizing a man as pope who isn't even a true bishop. Without the true Blessed Sacrament, countless Catholics will "die of wretchedness and hunger." See Day Seven of Church Unity Octave

St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael,
pray for us.

Our Lady of Good Success, thou who art the all-powerful intercessor before the Most Holy Trinity, deign to hear and answer my request, so long as it contributes to the salvation of my soul and the glory and exaltation of Holy Mother Church.
Hail Holy Queen...

Today we conclude the Week of the Chair of Unity Octave and once again we call upon the renowned and eminent venerable Benedictine Abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger to put this Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul in perspective with inspiration and reflection on the importance of this Feast in which we have provided Exerpts from The Liturgical Year on the feast. In our present time the crisis has grown far more worse than in Gueranger's time. Therefore, hopefully this past week the prayers offered for conversion will reach Heaven and the Holy Trinity will respond in kind by touching hardened and prejudiced hearts to bring to a reality Christ's call "that all may be one." But as much as many are content to wait for a miracle, God expects us to do our part and that is to urge the true traditional bishops to realize they must lead the charge. Let us pray that God will knock them off their respective horses long enough for them to realize they alone have the power and duty to return the True Faith to the masses for they are the true successors of the Apostles. The problem is that if the true Traditional Bishops do nothing, then the true Faith will mean nothing to the generations to come. It's now or never, Your Excellencies. Please, for the sake of souls do something to unite the Remnant Church! Reflections on the Close of Church Unity Octave Week

As we complete the week of Church Unity Octave this year, let us continue to pray and offer reparation that all may be one, not in a one world religion, but together in the one true Faith, the only Church Christ instituted upon earth and which we know the counterfeit church of conciliarism is not that Faith for, as we pray daily in the Act of Faith, "We believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches because Thou hast revealed them Who canst deceive nor be deceived." That says it all. Those who have been deceived need to realize that. Pray they will receive the grace to return. See Day Eight and Final Day of Church Unity Octave

Keeping the above in mind, we leave the eight-day period of prayers for the Chair of Unity Octave intentions behind while beginning a nine-day Novena leading up to the traditional feast of Our Lady of Good Success which coincides with Candlemass and the Feast of the Purification. This year we celebrate the 403rd Anniversary of the Blessed Mother's messages and visits to a humble Conceptionist nun in Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres. True to the prophesies imparted to her, these messages would be forgotten and little known until the time they pertained to which are our times, folks. We encourage you to purchase the fascinating books Dr. Marian Therese Horvat has compiled on Our Lady of Good Success, the messages and messenger of Quito, Ecuador and see that Our Lady foretold all that is unfolding today. In light of that, we encourage all to devote the next nine days to praying the Novena to Our Lady of Good Success either the Long Version of the Novena with an Imprimatur each day or the shorter Nine-Day Short Novena.

As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. We're back to at least doing weekly editions but donations have been way down and do not afford us the luxury of returning to daily publishing, which is ashame since it is called the DAILY Catholic. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward a bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

or you can send your tax-deductible contribution (check, cash or M.0.) by mail to:

To fortify why the CONciLIAR church is the false church, see key Papal Decrees that preceded it in pre-Vatican Two times by true Popes who solidly condemned the V2 false 'popes' who have spit in Heaven's Face. God will not be mocked. See for yourself what the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church has decreed:

  • Papal Coronation Oath Pope Agatho
  • Unam Sanctam Pope Boniface VIII
  • Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio Pope Paul IV
  • Quo Primum Pope St. Pius V
  • De Defectibus Pope St. Pius V
  • Satis Cognitum Pope Leo XIII
  • Apostolicae Curae Pope Leo XIII
  • Lamentabili Sane Pope St. Pius X
  • Pascendi Dominici Gregis Pope St. Pius X
  • Oath Against Modernism Pope St. Pius X
  • Mortalium Animos Pope Pius XI
  • Humani Generis Pope Pius XII
  • Sacramentum Ordinis Pope Pius XII

If the above Papal Decrees have not convinced you, then for more evidence that the Chair is VACANT and that Vatican Two and all that has followed is Anathema sit as St. Paul asserts in Galatians 1: 8-9, see these on-line books and sources:

  • The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

When One Cannot physically Assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

For those who cannot be present for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
    • Confession
    • Communion
    • One Our Father
    • One Hail Mary
    • One Glory be...
Pope Pius IX, July 31, 1858
