  The New Serpent of Eden
It has slithered out in the open in these times, far deadlier than the most poisonous asp and mesmerized millions into being charmed as bait for the evil one. It is called abortion and the casualty numbers are climbing well over 50 million since 1973.
"Just as the serpent in Eden used God's beautiful creation as its base of operations from which to promote sin and perdition, so too abortion twists God's precious gift of free will into a false license to kill, the treasure of free choice into a motto for selfish arrogance, and the blessing of life itself into a disposable item subordinate to everything from careers, finances, body image, evil research, and fanatical feminism to whim and fancy. In neither case does the evil actually invade what is truly from God, for that is impossible. What does happen, however, is that the evil one twists truth and goodness into its own brand of spin, deception, and evil masked as moral virtue. In this sense both the Eden serpent and abortion are more like parasites than viruses, since both merely attach themselves and use their host to propagate evil and harm instead of actually invading and taking over what genuinely has God's touch."
It coiled around the Tree of Life trying, unsuccessfully, to strangle the goodness of God's creation into evil. What it was allowed to do, however, was attach itself to that goodness like some parasite superficially feeding off a host. From this vantage point the evil one could pick off those unwary, undisciplined, and lax enough to be lured into sin. Abortion is the new serpent of Eden, and it stalks those susceptible to lies and false promises.
More Parasite Than Virus

False Promises and Lies
Satan lured Adam and Eve into sin through false promises and deceptions. He offered them control over life and death, greater power than The Divine Creator, and the ability to act without having to answer to God Almighty. Does this all sound familiar to you? Do not the forces of abortion tell us that we have the right to determine life and death, to play God, to be a god unto ourselves, to act without answering to anyone?
These ghouls may march, wail, and wax poetic about choice, freedom, self-determination, tolerance, and anti-religious agendas all they want, but what they are really about is selfish arrogance and mindless moral chaos. There is no limit to the spin and distortion that these fools will resort to. In Michigan a teen has been charged with beating his girlfriend over time with a miniature bat, at her request, to induce a miscarriage. The teen's defense attorney has cried that back alley abortions like this will increase if abortion limits are extended. This is like arguing that we should curtail laws against drug use and murder because such legislation actually forces people to use drugs in private or conceal their murderous intent!
Black Magic at Work
We all know that the devil is all about black magic and the occult, and there is no shortage of this connection here as well. Does not magic involve false perceptions, the distortion of reality, and spinning things one way over another? Any sane adult knows that the woman was not really sawed in half, the elephant really did not just disappear, and the tissue really did not turn into a dove, but it sure seems that way. Well, did not the serpent of Eden "make it seem" that eating that apple would bring all kinds of goodies?
That being said, just what "goodies" came about once the forbidden fruit was bitten? Hey, by the way, did not the evil one first sell this whole thing to the female? Just a thought in the face of the radical militant feminists demanding what is not their right. Their on-demand abortion is the result of the sordid scales left from satan's slithering in and around their souls for so long. Why is it that these despicable, detestable fools "make it seem" that abortion is the panacea to every problem from cellulite to international freedom?
That being said, just what "cure" results from abortion? Do all of these women then move into transcendent ascents into a glorious new life free of physical and emotional issues? The only thing that goes poof! when the devil turns an innocent infant into a cold, limp corpse is the salvation of all involved in this barbaric act!
Conclusion
We all know the story of Eden and how the serpent induced two people to sin and betray their Divine Creator. We are also painfully aware that we each have a daily Eden wherein we regularly sin and betray our same Creator as well at the lure of the evil one's false promises and temptations. The New Order will tell us that all of this is a whimsical fairy tale for mindless fools susceptible to fables. They tell us to take no more from such fairy tales than winks and smirks. They tell us it is all part of the "medieval mythology" foisted on the unintelligent by a manipulative Church. However, as has often been said, one of the devil's greatest weapons is to make what is true and important seem false and trivial. In that vein, let us see that abortion is clearly the new serpent of Eden. It lures and spins and coils around God's gifts of life, creation, choice, free will, human dignity, and moral integrity and creates its own venomous, vile spew of deception and distortion like some parasite feeding off goodness to deliver evil as good. An apple a day may keep the doctor away, but this newest apple of Eden will only be the seed to death, perdition, and disaster!
