We begin in earnest the Time after Epiphany with the Second Sunday where John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the Epistle and Gospel on the Wedding Feast at Cana - The First Miracle. Thursday is the feast of St. Peter's Chair at Rome as we begin the week of the Chair of Church Unity Octave Week in which we pray each day that all may be one, but not in the ecumaniacal way of Vatican II where the True Church of Christ merely "subsists in" the Church with other churches on a live-and-let-live level, but in praying and wanting all to realize the errors of their way and convert to the True Faith practiced from Peter through Pius XII. Pray for the collapse of the CONciLIAR church and the restoration of the true Roman Catholic Church. Remember Our Lady's words at Fatima, "In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph." I guarantee you it will not be through the current occupants of Rome for apostate Mr. Jorge Bergoglio is doing all he can to destroy true Catholicism, trying to knock out "rigid" Traditional Catholics who believe in absolutes and the infrangible true Faith. Since Vatican 2 is a bad fruit it will collapse, destined for the eternal fire as Jesus affirms in Matthew 7: 15-20. No, the triumph will come through faithfulness to her divine Son's remnant Church now relegated to the catacombs as we pray for divine intervention. Know the Faith in order to Keep the Faith! The most revered Abbe Dom Prosper Gueranger provides insight into the reason for Church Unity Octave with his Reflections. Below is the daily prayer during this week for true unity.

PRAYER  FOR   THE   CHURCH   UNITY   OCTAVE
    (Official Octave Prayer)

ANTIPHON (from St. John 17: 21)

"That they all may be one, as Thou, Father, in Me and I in Thee; that they also may be one in Us; that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me."

      V. I say unto thee that thou art Peter
      R. And upon this Rock I will build My Church.

Let us pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, Who saidst unto Thine Apostles: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; regard not our sins, but the faith of Thy Church, and vouchsafe to grant unto Her that peace and unity which are agreeable to Thy Will. Who livest and reignest God forever and ever. Amen.

An indulgence of 300 days during the octave of prayers for the unity of the Church, from the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter in Rome to the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. A Plenary Indulgence on the usual conditions at the end of the devout exercise.

This week for only the second time in years, there is hope that commiserating the abominable Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973 that has claimed countless millions in the womb over the past 45 years, can be be numbered with the appointment of pro-life judges to the Supreme Court as promised by President Donald John Trump where someday soon this dastardly decision can be overturned and January 22 will become a part of ancient history. We can only pray that this will happen as we pray for the souls of the unborn who are trapped in Limbo, left to the mercy of Almighty God at the Final Judgment since they were not baptized, but still are guiltless. Pray President Trump will be touched by the Savior of the world Jesus Christ to right the terrible wrong that the Blessed Virgin Mary had warned of at Fatima that Russia's errors would spread if we did not heed her plea. Well, folks, it happened because we did not heed her plea and communism not only infiltrated all branches of governments, but also the Church Herself early in the twentieth century that resulted in the heretical Vatican 2 and the inevitable Road to Perdition for so many souls who were blinded just as foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11 and 2 Timothy 4: 3-4. For articles on this from two years ago, we refer you to 43 Years of "Legal" Outright Murder and Genocide (even though it's 41 back in 2014). By the way wouldn't it be great if President 45 could end Roe vs. Wade this year at 45 years?!!

This week we complete the Week of Church Unity Octave with the Greater Double Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul. The renowned Benedictine Abbot Abbe Dom Prosper Gueranger bookends the week with a special Reflection on Christ's call to Conversion. Yes, Mr. Bergoglio, it is about conversions just as Jesus mandated in Matthew 28: 19-20, Mark 16: 15-16, and John 21: 15-17. But then again, Chaos Frank has contradicted so many things in the inerrant gospels, that it is amazing how many still consider him a pope. Can you say "Apostate"? That is what he is and what he is doing is trying to destroy all vestiges of Catholic tradition with his Marxist Liberation Theology and outright apostasy by using Vatican 2 as his template for the New One World Religion. Begone, satan! For the true sensus Catholicus, which you won't find in Bergoglio's church, listen to the solid traditional sermons courtesy of Traditional Catholic Sermons.

We begin this last week of the Time after Epiphany with the Gospel of the centurion who said "Lord, I am not worthy" - the solemn words announcing the Communion at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass Domine, non sum dignus. John Gregory provides the Haydock Commentary for the Third Sunday after Epiphany with So Great a Faith. This last week before the Time of Septuagesima is also a week of saints as you can see the line up of holy ones above beginning with St. Agnes, Virgin and Martyr on Sunday through Saturday when we celebrate the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church, the golden throated St. John Chrysostom who was The Golden Mouth of Truth

The Chair of Church Unity Octave does not mean offering one iota of an ounce of incense to the non-Catholic religions. That is because something founded on error rarely leads to truth, and every man-made religion is founded on error for it is an admittance that they believe Jesus lied to His Apostles and disciples in St. Matthew 16: 18-19. Jesus warned of this by alerting us of the heretical mindset throughout the centuries when he announced that not all who say 'Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but those who do His heavenly Father's will. That is why true Traditional Catholics will never compromise or dialogue with the devil. Dogma is absolute and those who veer from it, well we pray they will somehow receive the grace to see the error of their ways, but if not, we must do as Jesus admonishes: Shake the dust from our sandals and move on.

Hopefully, more will see that this Time after Epiphany with the week of Church Unity Octave will wake more to the truths and traditions of the only Church founded by the Son of God, Who by doing so, replaced the Jewish religion and, contrary to the Vatican Two heresies spewed lo these many decades, the Jews who do not convert, well their wait for the Messiah will be in vain. So also those who think they have a better idea than Christ and His infrangible doctrines passed down through divine revelation and tradition and adhered to by the perennial, infallible Magisterium of the Church from St. Peter through Pope Pius XII. Anathema all as St. Paul tellos us in Galatians 1: 8-10.

We know from Sacred Scripture, the writings of the Fathers, Doctors, Saints, and Popes of what God says, but when we hear His voice again through the words of the Church-approved Revelations and Prophesies of St. Bridget of Sweden, we get a better perspective of why lukewarmness or just getting by won't help us at Judgement time. It's a reminder that we all had better toe the line and realize how Americanism and Modernism permeate our every waking hour and how much God despises these heresies. He tells the bride just how much, and reveals to her what He expects. Are we living up to His expectations? We better be. That's why we've continue providing a new chapter each day from Book Two. They may be short, but they pack a powerful punch. So do the sermons we provide for each day, courtesy of Traditional Catholic Sermons.

This may, of course, contradict what you've heard from the current occupant in Rome, who relishes his reputation as the "humble one". Don't believe it. The devil deceives and he's done a good job of getting a vast majority to "believe lying" (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:10). To better understand why the Chair of Peter has been vacant since the death of Pope Pius XII of happy memory, we present two videos below, one from Fr. Anthony Cekada titled "Why Do Traditionalists Fear Sedevacantism?" and the other from NovusOrdoWatch.org with "True or False Popes" Have the Gates of Hell Prevailed? that will hopefully remove the veil of doubt and help those who fear such a situation to connect the dots and realize the only reconciliation to the Great Apostasy today is that the gates of hell have prevailed against the CONciLIAR church but can never prevail against the true Church instituted by Jesus Christ upon the Rock of Peter. (cf. St. Matthew 16: 18)

There's a way to offset the evil fomented by the CONciLIAR church and the world it embraces by imploring the help of Our Lady as we complete the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Prompt Succor, begun last Sunday and ending on Monday, the traditional feast of Our Lady under that title. We began this two weeks after Epiphany celebrating the feast of the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Hilary of Poitiers who was the Laborer for God and we end the two weeks honoring another great Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. John Chrysostom who was The Golden Mouth of Truth. Let us all clamor for true bishops of their caliber in shouting the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church to the world.

After publishing a monthly tabloid newspaper since 1990, in 1996 we launched out on the internet - then called the world wide web. It was akin to learning Greek in formatting html, but we persevered and this year we mark twenty-two years online with this publication, which we proudly can say we have always followed St. Paul's counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 in standing fast, and holding the traditions which we have learned by always providing the infrangible truths and traditions of holy Mother Church.

We have tried to live that way by being a vehicle to express the truths through SANCTUS/DailyCatholic and, though we are cash strapped as are most traditional apostolates in these times, we received enough to keep publishing at least for now. We thank those who have donated, and ask for those who have not offered to help, if you could click the box to the right and find it in your hearts to give from your heart. Every little bit helps and our funds are severely low. Since the new tax bill supposedly eliminates deductions to charitable organizations, if you can give you would truly be giving from your heart and God counts that very high in the High Court. Because there are so many souls to be saved, this apostolate continues for the 29th year and 22 years online in order to inform the faithful of what true Catholicism is and why all must flee the false church of Vatican 2 and beware of the New World Order - Novus Ordo Seculorum.

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

To assist all in striving toward holiness, click on the Confessional to your right to review your transgressions through a thorough Examination of Conscience

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae caelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude. Amen.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within Thy wounds, hide me.
Permit me to never be separated from Thee.
From the malicious enemy, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
And bid me to come to unto Thee
That with Thy Saints I may praise Thee
Forever and ever. Amen.

Anima Christi, sanctifica me.
Corpus Christi, salva me.
Sanguis Christi, inebria me.
Aqua lateris Christi, lava me.
Passio Christi, conforta me.
O bone Iesu, exaudi me.
Intra Tua vulnera absconde me.
Ne permittas me separari a Te.
Ab hoste maligno defende me.
In hora mortis meae voca me.
Et iube me venire ad Te,
Ut cum Sanctis tuis laudem te
in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

From January 7 through January 15 we observe the Novena to Our Lady of Prompt Succor

The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

Griff Ruby, author of The Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church, has just published two volumes on the existence of Sedevacantism in our times. (click on each book to where you can procure them) that quite readily refute anything the anti-sedevacantists can muster.

MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided by thee. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, Mary, Virgin of virgins, Mother of Jesus Christ; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful, sorrowful and trembling. O Mistress of the World and Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer wretched me crying to thee in this vale of tears. Be near me, I beseech thee, in all my necessities, now and always, and especially at the hour of my death. O clement, o loving, o sweet Virgin Mary. Amen.

Memorare, O piissima Virgo Maria, non esse auditum a saeculo, quemquam ad tua currentem praesidia, tua implorantem auxilia, aut tua petentem suffragia a te esse derelictum. Ego tali animatus fiducia, ad te Virgo virginum Maria Mater Iesu Christi, confugio, ad te venio, ad te curro, coram te gemens peccator et tremens assisto: noli, Domina mundi, noli aeterni Verbi Mater verba mea despicere, sed audi propitia et exaudi me miserum ad te in hac lacrimarum valle clamantem. Adsis mihi, obsecro, in omnibus necessitatibus meis, nunc et semper, et maxime in hora mortis meae. O clemens, o pia, o dulcis Virgo Maria. Amen.

To fortify why the CONciLIAR church is the false church, see key Papal Decrees that preceded it in pre-Vatican Two times by true Popes who solidly condemned the V2 false 'popes' who have spit in Heaven's Face. God will not be mocked. See for yourself what the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church has decreed:

If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward any bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?
