The Feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the zenith of the month dedicated to her Most Sorrowful Heart as we look in sad awe at the accuracy of Simeon's prophesy, then alarmingly follow Mary and Joseph with the Child Jesus in their Flight to Egypt, then the anxiety of losing a child and finding Him in the temple speaking beyond His years to the Scribes and Pharisees, who years later would condemn Him as Our Lady weeps at meeting her Divine Son on the way to Calvary, then standing below the ignmominious Cross and watching Him die, then having His dead, emaciated bloodless body laid in her arms, and finally having to seal the tomb after He is placed in the sepulchre. This journey, which we remember each day with Seven Hail Mary's for the Seven Sorrows, is centered around the Cross, of which we also celebrate the Exaltation, while contemplating all her Divine Son has done for each of us and Mary's role in everything. We also celebrate Our Lady's Nativity and Holy Hame of Mary prior to the former feasts with devotions leading to the Ides of September that comprise the tridiuum of feasts to Mary, along with recognizing afterwards the Stigmata of St. Francis of Assisi followed by the holy apostle St. Matthew as well as the Dedication of St. Michael the Archangel and the holy Church Father and Doctor of the Church St. Jerome, compiler of the Latin Vulgate Bible, to finish the month of September and lead into the First Saturday of the Month of the Holy Rosary.

A week prior to that is the feast of Our Lady of Ransom and the blessed occasion of His Excellency Mark A. Pivarunas' 25th Anniversary of his Consecration as a true Bishop by the late Bishop Moises Carmona at Mt. St. Michael's in Spokane, Washington.

We also observe below the 170th Anniversary of the Church-approved Apparition of Our Lady of La Salette on September 19th which produced the grave warning she gave that has, tragically, come true, and, all the more ironic considering the heretical syncretistic Assisi Summit will conclude on this feast. Is the Assisi region asking for another earthquake?!!! No wonder Our Lady wept so and why this month is dedicated to her Sorrowful Heart.

To assure we keep that compass on the right course we also have the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God to remind us that life is not a bed of roses, but a series of thorns, swords if you will, that will, like it did her, pierce our hearts. How we handle it will measure the length and breadth of our soul. That is what we should think of on her Double of the Second Class Feast of the Seven Sorrows on the Ides of September. Just as Mary endured the mental pain of all her divine Son was subjected to, so also each of us have times in our family lives, at work, in other walks of life where we are wounded deeply by another's actions. Too often we react rather than humbly remain silent and, like Our Lady, offer it up to God Who knows everyone's heart. He cannot deceive nor be deceived. The very fact we have been deceived ever since the time of Vatican 2 should alert those willingly trapped in their comfort zones that they need a few more sorrows in their lives to snap out of their doldrums and to realize one cannot achieve Heaven without effort, without pain, without heartache. The Mother of God continues to be sorrowful as was only too evident in her appearance at La Salette this week in 1846 when she cried openly before the two children. God allowed her to know what lay ahead as she tried to warn through her messenger Melanie that "Rome would lose the Faith, and become the seat of the Antichrist". Think about that and weep with her. But realize we can still remain optimistic in her promise made at Fatima that "In the end my Immaculate Heart will Triumph"! It's up to us to expedite that triumph and to bring as many souls to that realization there is only one true Church founded by Christ, one where the gates of hell will not win, though many think today it is winning, but God will win the war. Only those who cling to Mary's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, only those who receive the true sacraments and remain in the state of sanctifying grace will persevere and be rewarded with unspeakable joy after we've paid our dues here on earth.

With each passing day the world grows darker, more evil. We see it in the news, in the media, in civil life where few are civil as discord is being sown by the very leaders who should be promoting unity. But should we be surprised? No, we should not be for the Mother of God foretold this at Quito in the 1600's and at LaSalette, as well as at Fatima, all Church-approved apparitions worthy of belief. We need only go back to Genesis 3: 14-15 where God said to the serpent " I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel". As the Church Fathers discern this that it is by Mary's seed, Jesus Christ, that the woman crushes the serpent's head.

Reverting back to the above paragraph on the increasing discord we face, we want to share a YouTube reminder of Our Lady's warning at LaSalette that reinforces key excerpts she imparted to the two visionaries Maxim and Melanie. We encourage you to use stop action and move the cursor forward manually to read if you are not a fast reader for it moves rather quickly. We see today her very prophesies carried out and the role we, the faithful remnant - true Traditional Catholics - must play for our own salvation and that of so many others for she said, "I appeal to the apostles of the latter days to the faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who will live despised by the world and by themselves, in poverty and humility, in scorn and silence, in prayer, mortification, in chastity and union with God in suffering and ignored by the world. The time has come for them to go out and illuminate the earth." The last thing Our Lady said to the two unschooled shepherd visionaries on the mountain of LaSalette was the charge not to keep it secret. "Well then, my children, you will pass this on to my whole people." That is what we endeavor to do here at the DailyCatholic and several other uncompromising traditional sites and publications and sedevacantist blogs that have sprouted up. We pray daily that those in the "Recognize-and-Resist" camps will connect the dots and quit trying to force square pegs into round holes in their fruitless efforts to justify that Mr. Jorge Bergoglio and his apostate predecessors since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII were actually "true Popes."

Persevering in these times is not easy without the graces afforded only in the Traditional Latin Mass where only true priests can confect the bread and wine into the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ through the transubstantion that takes place at the Consecration. All other ways are counterfeit. Chief among the counterfeiters is the Argentine apostate imposter posing as 'pope' in Rome, who, like his predecessors since 1958, are so taken with pleasing man that, through their words and actions have shown their true colors even though many are colorblind when it comes to black and white absolutes. The Argentinian Marxist's latest charade is allowing the SSPX priests to hear confessions in what he terms the 'Year of Mercy'. God have mercy on those who are so duped by this antichrist who seeks to relax all doctrines. Note this was all foretold by Our Lady at La Salette that "Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the antichrist." Thus we must go against the grain, swim against the stream of comfort zones catering to the world, the flesh and the devil. That is why we have a duty, a Catholic responsibility before God to instruct the ignorant and, believe us, the majority are truly ignorant of what the Catholic Faith teaches. That is why, with so few true priests, it falls on the laity to counsel the doubtful while leaving the true sacraments to the true priests who are spread so thin. The same goes for comforting the sorrowful and there is plenty to be sorrowful for, not only if you read the daily headlines or hear the sound bites, but the void of grace in countless souls since the Holy Ghost long ago lifted protection of the church in Rome today due to the Modernists' infiltration and the Great Apostasy resulting from the Second Vatican Council. Because we march to a different drum and choose the narrow path over the wide path to destruction strewn with wilting roses. That's why we get a lot of rejection. That's why we could tear our hair out in frustration at the lack of conversions except we know that "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible". Therefore, as true Catholics, we must bear wrongs patiently and forgive all injuries. Finally, or should we say, first of all we cannot sustain this path unless we do as St. Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians, "Such confidence we have through Christ towards God. Not that we are sufficient to think of ourselves, as of ourselves: but our sufficiency is from God". That is why we are strongly encouraged to pray for the living and the dead in fulfilling our part of the Communion of Saints, something lost in today's pick-and-choose politically correct CONciLIAR church where the devil has ensconsed himself as is only too evident.

In fact, It would seem the gates have shackled what to the world appears as the Catholic Church today, but in essence, is nothing but an evil imposter posing as Catholic while stripping her of all semblance of Catholicity. Yet so many remain blind, deaf and dumb to it all, going along to get along without realizing how wrong they are and how they will have to account for their actions or inactions at their Particular Judgment when it will be too late to make excuses or say 'I didn't know'. That is why we have continued to publish the DailyCatholic and link you to reliable, trusted sites so you can't say you didn't know. Yes, it means leaving the comfort zone you've erroneously grown accustomed to, but it's time all realized that we owe our allegiance not to men who violate the Faith, but to God and all that His holy Catholic Church passed down from Peter through the last true Pope - His Holiness Pope Pius XII of happy memory. Since then the wolves have invaded and engulfed souls in their wicked jaws. The six imposters you see here could never be true Popes as previous true Popes have decreed as is documented to the right.

When you discover what the True Church teaches you'll realize that ever since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII , the Catholic Church hasn't been the same. That's right, and Jesus tells us why. Because what poses as 'Catholic' today, governed by those usurping the authority in Rome and dioceses throughout the world, is a false church - an arrogant, out-of-control, failing man-made religion that has eclipsed the humble true Church consigned in these times to the catacombs. Our Lord shows us in Sunday's gospel His mercy in healing those willing to be healed, but He is also equally just and those who presume on His mercy may be left in the dust. Jesus identifies these proud modedrnists who have eclipsed the true Church quite clearly in St. Matthew 7: 15 that we must beware of the false prophets who may appear in clothing of sheep, but inwardly we must recognize them as ravening wolves or worse. If the faithful couldn't see the "abomination of desolation" (St. Matthew 24:15) and devious destruction of the true Faith during the regimes of the first five imposters since Pius' passing, they should surely see it now as Roman-born Argentine Mr. Jorge Bergoglio continues his agenda to wipe out any vestiges of Catholic truth that would be offensive to non-Catholics in his Marxist mindset to please man, not God through his humanist efforts to form a One World Religion. If one reads St. Paul's warning in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11 and what many would do in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4, we can more readily see what Our Lord meant in St. Luke 18:8 when He asked rhetorically if there would be any one of faith left when He returns.

How do we restore the sacred? How do we wake up the masses as to what constitutes a true Mass and that those in the CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2 do not have it? First of all, we pray. Then we inform so the deaf may hear and the dumb speak out the truths from the rooftops. Out of all reliable sources verifying the above, NovusOrdoWatch provides the best play-by-play of the implosion of the counterfeit CONciLIAR church and the schemes toward a One World Order which is intent on erasing all true spirituality from this planet. Others worth checking on daily are Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as True Restoration and the following blogs that we heartily recommend Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Anthony Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. We also point you to Traditio which, although the Father Moderators will not admit the term "sedevacantism", 95% of what they provide reinforces this position. Note, we provide here those sites that carry almost daily coverage and in no way demean other sites that update more infreqently. For those sites, please see Traditional Catholic Resource Port.

I know you've heard this "song and dance" before of non-profits asking for money. The only problem is I can't sing and you don't want to see me dance. Therefore, with hat in hand I throw myself on the mercy of our readers to help keep this publication, with over twenty years of being on the world-wide web, on line for the specific purpose of saving souls. For the past two decades, through thick and thin, this editor has not taken a salary. It is a labor of love for the sake of converting souls to the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church as handed down from St. Peter through Pope Pius XII.

We stand diametrically opposed to the Modernist trend made evident by the Second Vatican Council and all that has followed and now making itself so blatantly evident with the emergence of yet another false 'pope' in the line of the apostate Vatican 2 CONciLIAR anti-popes. Francis, better known as Mr. Jorge Bergoglio, has almost made it a habit of spewing heretical statements as a weekly occurrence. If you are now realizing this fact, it would behoove you to chip in and help those fighting in the trenches against the enemies of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Immaculate Mother Mary.

The main reason I've combined the two months of July and August into our Annual Summer Hiatus edition is for financial reasons. Bottom line: The cupboard is empty and I'm scrambling to pay bills. That means I might have to come out of retirement job-wise and, at 73 years of age, drive for Uber or find some means of financing to stay above water. I realize times are tough and we're all being squeezed by higher prices everywhere while getting inferior or reduced products on the grocery shelves. As they say, without a piece of bread there is no peace of mind. I'm already thin, having adopted the one meal a day Lenten fast year round out of habit and a shrunken stomach years ago. So I can survive on the basics for I eat to live, not live to eat. Nevertheless, the bill collectors aren't going to give me a pass because I've dedicated my life to the Lord. No, they'll come after me and this traditional apostolate with all the fury they can muster because of who we are. Remember the IRS witchhunt on conservative non-profits? We have been a bonafide 501c3 non-profit since 1994 with nothing to hide.

I find it so disheartening to see the obscene sums donated to corrupt politicians and yet so few give from their treasure to those non-profits like ours whose platform outlines everlasting life. It's truly an anomaly. We have our steady few benefactors that have been so loyal with monthly contributions ranging from maybe a dozen donations ranging from five, ten, and fifteen dollars each to a few twenty and twenty-five dollar gifts, two thirty dollar donations, one seventy dollar donation a few times a month, and one five-hundred dollar munificence a month. That adds up to around $850 a month with expenses over $1500 a month so you can see the predicament SANCTUS/DailyCatholic faces to make ends meet.

I've always been uncomfortable asking for money for our own causes. Yet, when I see the six figure amounts Novus Ordo editors and Executive Directors are garnering with nary a question as to its unbalanced impropriety, I wince. Our Lord has said "A laborer is worth his wages" but there's a balance there where the top honchos don't horde it all while proceeds for the very mission are sparced out. I've never believed one should charge for promoting the true Faith. That is why we've never gone the subscription route. That is why we don't run ads. We want to keep the DailyCatholic as pure as possible. I can also proudly claim, thanks to our own scrutiny and God's graces, that we have never published anything contrary to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church, and with confidence, can assure our readers that they are safe in the HomePort of the DailyCatholic pages as well as the links we provide for other trusted ports.

I'm struck with awe of the advice the great Doctor of the Church St. Augustine passed down regarding almsgiving that you see directly below.

"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need.?"

Please don't desert the DailyCatholic and this traditional apostolate of SANCTUS. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the traditional daily liturgy, devotional material, and inspirational articles we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide the Propers every day of the year and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. We've decided to focus more on these aspects of our Catholic Faith and, for the most part, link the polemics of what is happening today in the Church and state.

We urgently ask if you can contribute anything in these tight times, we would be so appreciative for the coffers are truly bare. Think of all the untold millions being thrown into the election process this year.If you've contributed to a campaign, can't you spare a crumb for this apostolate to convert apostates? If you are still in the category of the lukewarm, then you will pass over this plea and move on to the next thing that tickles your fancy. But if you truly want to commit, we offer you the opportunity below to put that commitment into action for the good of saving souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward a bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the CONciLIAR collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"? I thank you in advance for any donation you can send.

This week, free of any martyrs' feasts, save for a few commemorations, could be considered a week of confessors except for two virgins, St. Rose of Viterbo on Sunday and the Virgin of virgins the Blessed Virgin Mary whose birthday we celebrate on Thursday in completing the Novena for her Nativity. Sunday signals the beginning of the Novena for the Most Holy Name of Mary, culminating next Monday, September 12 for truly the heavenly Father prepared from all time His immaculate vessel to be worthy to be the living tabernacle of His only-begotten Son Jesus Christ. On Friday we begin the Novena for the Seven Sorrows of the Most Sorrowful Mother, for God prepared her to share in the sufferings as well as joys in Jesus' life to show how closely connected the Mother was to the Son from being told in prophesy by Simeon of the swords that would pierce her heart to the sound of the tomb being slammed shut. Today our heavenly Mother knows our sorrows and joys and can relate better than anyone how much we hurt. That is why the Church says, "Go to Mary for consolation, for she is a loving Mother who understands and will intercede with her divine Son Who cannot say no to His Blessed Mother."

  •     This Sunday, September 4, another aberration will take place in the seat of Modernism - the Vatican 2 Vatican when Mr. Jorge Bergoglio will cononize Mother Teresa aka Anjeze Gonxhe Bojaxhiu in what amounts to once again elevating Vatican 2 against the overwhelming evidence that it is a bad tree with no fruits and is destined for the eternal fires. Yet, as Modernists and Marxists are wont to do, they trundle on in their errors oblivious to the everlasting consequences that await them and those they have influenced with their apostasy. So why do we say that Mother Teresa or Theresa (take your pick, but she should never be compared with the truly saintly St. Teresa of Avila or St. Therese of the Child Jesus) is a heretic? We will let you see for yourself from the documentation provided by Dr. Rama Coomaraswamy's Correspondence with Mother Theresa that proves she knew what she was doing was syncretism, ergo heresy. A heretic can never be a saint, let alone a Catholic in good standing, let alone any assurance that person made Heaven. You see it goes against everything the holy Catholic Church has ever taught and held firm as infrangible doctrine. While Mother Teresa was a tremendous, unbelievable humanist to the world and provided immeasurable benefits to the poor as well as establishing the Missionaries of Charity, idenifiable in the simple blue and white sarong, she did deny the dogma of the Church Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, Outside the Church there is no salvation. As His Holiness Pope Leo XIII noted in his encyclical Satis Cognitum about one drop of poison as you see in the graphic here. Well, Mother Teresa infected the whole barrel with worldly syncretism and Bill Metallo emphasizes this in his piece Habit of Heresy in addition to a scathing admission from a secular source provided by the traditional Call Me Jorge Bergoglio blogspot with Hell's Angel. This abomination of installing unsaints as saints the world approves of, but not God or the true Church has been going on since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII, and it goes without saying that the Catholic Church hasn't been the same since. That's right, and Jesus tells us why. Because what poses as 'Catholic' today, governed by those usurping the authority in Rome and dioceses throughout the world, is a false church - a man-made religion that has eclipsed the true Church consigned in these times to the catacombs. Our Lord warns in St. Matthew 7: 15-20 to beware of the false prophets who may appear in clothing of sheep, but inwardly we must recognize them as ravening wolves or worse. If the faithful couldn't see the "abomination of desolation" (St. Matthew 24:15) and devious destruction of the true Faith during the regimes of the first five imposters since Pius' passing, they should surely see it now as Roman-born Argentine apostate Jorge Bergoglio continues his agenda to wipe out any vestiges of Catholic truth that would be offensive to non-Catholics in his Marxist mindset to please man, not God through his humanist efforts to form a One World Religion.

To see the path the current CONciLIAR church is on, all one needs to do is read chapters 17 and 18 of the Book of the Apocalypse. While Protestants point to those chapters - in what they call Revelation as being the Catholic Church - true Catholics realize it cannot possibly be because it is the Mystical Body of Christ as True Catholics know that the false church of Vatican 2 is the harlot of Babylon described in the words written on the isle of Patmos by the holy evangelist. We also remind you of all the proof located in the column to the right from true Popes, saints and documentation of all we say here. Don't take our word for it, see what the Church has decreed from the Apostles through Pius XII. If it was right and proper for salvation during that timespan, then it still is today and to hear or heed anything else is to ignore St. Paul's warning in Galatians 1: 8-10 to beware if even an angel were to tell you something else. What would they be? Anathema sit. Condemned. But we do have hope as you can see the intention below for this Saturday and the holy Rosary is our hope for the will of God despite the world, the flesh, and the devil, not to mention the CONciLIAR church that has eclipsed the true Church. God will WILL out! "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19: 26; Mark 10: 27).

The Pieta is the zenith of a life totally dedicated to her divine Son Whom she held for the last time. What mother cannot sympathize with that? Oh, the sorrows and the joys the Blessed Mother experienced - the lows of the Passion and the high of being the living Tabernacle and, after fulfilling her co-redemptrix role, being assumed into Heaven. She realizes, as she urges us to also understand, that there can be no glory without the Cross that we exalt this week. For more, see below.

    •     This week runs the gamut of Mary's life, so to speak, from the feast of her Holy Name, given to her by her parents Anne and Joachim, but really inspired by the heavenly Father from all time, to the feast of her Sorrowful Heart when we contemplate the seven dolors on the Ides of September. Outside of the Lenten season, these two days in mid September are the closest thing to the penitential time when we recall the triumph of St. Helena, through her excavation team, uncovering the true Cross on which Jesus was crucified. The next day we commisserate with Our Lady the seven sorrows she encountered just as Simeon foretold of the seven swords that would metaphorically pierce her Immaculate Heart. It is a time to reflect how close Mother and Son were throughout her life and to realize how the Cross encompasses our Christian life morning, noon, and night for Our Lord has asserted that unless we take up our crosses daily, we cannot be His disciples. To aid us in carrying these crosses God endows us with to strengthen us in our resolve to attain Heaven, He has given us His Own heavenly Mother to guide and intercede for us in every way if we but call upon her. Keeping with the theme of the cross, on Saturday we celebrate the Stigmata of St. Francis of Assisi when the holy founder of the Order of Friars Minor received the sacred wounds Christ manifested to St. Thomas in the upper room after His Resurrection.

It's important to stay the narrow path as opposed to the wide road strewn with temporaral temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil that leads to the latter's permanent home - hell. That is why the Rosary is such a powerful deterrent in keeping us from opting for the wide path. It brings to mind the intention for this thirteenth Saturday in the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade where we pray for the salvation of souls that they, too, will seek the narrow road.

      •     If the syncretists of Vatican 2 thought the third time is the charm for the Ecumaniacal Assisi Summits, they didn't know the apostate Bergoglio who will not be upstaged when it comes to staging something. Ergo, he will go forward with the fourth aberration of bringing together non-Catholic leaders of pagan cults to pray - but not for conversion; oh, heavens no! No, proselytizing went the way of the dinosaur with the Great Apostasy that only grows worse as the years go on and one antipope after the other is seemingly worse than his predecessor. So why in the world would Bishop Bernard Fellay be so willing to hitch on with the flailing, failing, false ship that is definitely not the true Barque of Peter? That is the million-souls-at-stake question and we have his own words that prove his own contradictions with Nullam Partem There is no more vivid recollection of how God feels about these abominations that Karol Wojtyla aka John Paul 2 began back in 1986 than the devastating earthquakes that rocked Assisi in 1997 and again in 2011. The Divine is not happy. Would you be if the Church He founded was being usurped by His adversaries - antichrists as the Apostle St. John calls them? But the CONciLIAR cabal continues on at full speed toward a one world order that will result in a one world religion that is the antithesis of Catholicism. We can only pray for divine intervention to stop this and restore His holy Catholic Church. We present John Gregory's piece on the fact that no one can be saved by a false religion via the Definition of Faith for the Dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus as Pope Pius XII laid out in his encyclical Mystici Corporis. Just as the worldy had entered the Jewish temple, so also the world, eagerly prompted by the false pontiffs' own invitation to the world, has invaded the once-consecrated churches universally and turned them into dens of thieves. How you ask? By stealing the True Presence of Jesus Christ, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, from the faithful through the invalid, sacrilegious, blasphemous new 'mass' of Paul the Sick, already prefigured by one Angelo Roncalli and the notorious, nefarious Anibale Bugnini. The altars were stolen away and replaced with tables, ala Protestant and Masonic lodges. Where God resided in the tabernacles, now the seat of man took center place, thus replacing the Divine. From there it was katie-bar-the-door and anything-goes that has only grown worse over the years by the occupation of the apostates to where universal salvation is now the code word of the CONciLIAR cabal that leads to such aberrations as four syncretic Assisi summits including today through the eve of the feast of St. Matthew, who recorded the very fate of those who embrace the "abomination of desolation." Does Fellay really want to align with that sorry group of apostates? Puhlease!

What every Catholic needs to do is examine their consciences thoroughly and then get thee to a confessional with a true Traditional Priest to hear their sins and absolve them. Realize if those ordained after 1968 are not true priests (and they are not because of what Paul 6 dared to alter), then they cannot forgive sins and confer Sanctifying Grace any more than you or I. That is just one of the many fall-outs of those with Masonic tendencies and agendas have turned our consecrated churches into unconsecrated lodges.

We hope and pray every Catholic will take these words to heart, pray to Our Lady for devotion to Mary is the surest way to Our Lord's Most Sacred Heart for as we've said often Jesus cannot say no to His Blessed Mother. That devotion is the intention for the Mystery of the Assumption for the Fourteeth Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade.

        •    Our Lord's words in the Gospel of St. Matthew this week relay how so many are eligible for Heaven, but so few really strive to attain it, opting instead for temporal treasures rather than an everlasting one. This is why beginning Friday the next 40 days and 40 nights are so important to pray that many will vote for those candidates who will make God the priority in all things government. This week for three consecustive days we honor those few who were chosen among the many through their martyrdom, including St. Isaac Jogues and the North American Martyrs, then the brothers Sts. Cosmas & Damian, who are included in the Canon of the Holy Mass, and on Wednesday good King St. Wenceslaus. Then, on Thursday we celebrate the Double of the First Class Feast of St. Michael and on Friday, the last day of September we celebrate the feast of the holy Church Father and Doctor of the Church St. Jerome, who compiled the holy scriptures into the Latin Vulgate which was passed down through the centuries and remains today in English in the Douay-Rheims Bible

To help us in deciding what direction our life will take as well as who to vote for we need only rely on God's right-hand man St. Michael the Archangel and call on the protection of Our Lady and the heavenly winged knight - he who is like God, quis ut Deus to protect us as the times grow darker from sin engulfing the world in every venue of life, snuffing out whatever sanctifying grace is available in the few true tabernacles around the world. Thanks to the apostate Giovanni Montin aka Paul 6, he abolished the powerful Prayer to St. Michael that His Holiness Pope Leo XIII composed after given a vision from Heaven of God and St. Michael negotiating with the Archangel's equal - the fallen angel Lucifer, aka satan, devil, beelsebub - evil of the highest degree. That prayer, part of the Leonine Prayers recited after every Low Mass in traditional chapels today was taken away from conciliar Catholics and with it, the protection afforded by God's most powerful right-hand guardian. We have seen the tragic results of this over the past 50 plus years, and these next forty days are an ideal opportunity to put our knees where our mouth is and pray and fast, knowing we have the head of God's mightiest army behind us. How can we lose? But we need to do our part that begins with staying in the state of sanctifying grace and uniting with the Blessed Virgin Mary by devoutly praying her holy Rosary as often as our states in lfe permit, hopefully daily, in order to fend off the demons that prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls.

For more on the full prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII, see O Prince of the heavenly Host

Speaking of St. Michael, the Annual Fatima Conference will be held once again at Mount St. Michael's in Spokane this year from October 12-16 with this year's theme "Animam Pro Ovibus Ponere" - "To Give His Life for the Sheep." Registration must be made by Saturday, October 1.

October 1st is the first of a Forty-Day and Forty-Night Prayer and Fasting Campaign leading to the national elections on November 8. If you want to see the pendulum swing back toward America as a God-fearing nation then it not only happens via prayer and penance, but also by action at the ballot box by voting out all who go against His Laws. First of all, it is a mortal sin to vote for any candidate who promotes or condones abortion. Therefore no Catholic can vote for a Democratic candidate since their platform embraces abortion as well as sodomy. If, in voting for candidates, for each one you see is not for returning God and morality, then don't vote for either because choosing the lesser of two evils is never justified. Rather, go the extra step to write in Jesus Christ as a way of protesting these candidates. Will Our Lord win? No, because not enough will do it to count. You might ask, but isn't that wasting your vote and therefore you have no right to complain when a worst candidate gets in? The world might think that, but God knows and, after all, that's all that counts. That is why the intention of perseverance is the final intention as we focus on the Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and earth in this final Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade. But we never cease praying as the 40-Days of Prayer and Fasting to elect candidates who will work to restore Christ as our Sovereign King.

Finally, as we said above: it has to be said. As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. We remind you of the advice of the holy Doctor of the Church we celebrate this week Saint Augustine on almsgiving:
"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need.?"
You don't have to take our word for it as to the spiritual benefits of almsgiving, but we urge you to listen to one of the wisest of Church Doctors. Therefore, if you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line, and remind you that your donation is tax deductible.

As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward any bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

There are countless souls who have no one to pray the Rosary with, many who have no access to a Traditional Latin Mass parish. That is why Mt. St. Michael parishioner Tom Gillbrough began Rosary Conference Call nearly a year ago in order to offer a way folks can call in and pray along the Holy Rosary each night. The Rosary begins at 10 p.m. EDT, 9 p.m. CDT, 8 p.m. MDT and 7 p.m. PDT where Tom is located in Spokane. The calls are free. All one needs to do is dial 712-775-7031 then follow the prompt 393-323# and you'll be connected. You are asked to call in five to ten minutes before the hour so the Rosary can start on time. You can find out more at Rosary Call

The Rosary is the chief weapon we have at our disposal 7/24. But it's about time those of us who rail that we haven't had a true Pope since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958 get off the snide and do something about it. No, we can't elect a pope, but we can sure pray that Heaven will intercede via divine intervention and send us, in the only way God knows, a true pope to end the Great Apostasy and resurrect the true Roman Catholic Church that has been in eclipse over the last 58 years. This is the mission of a special website recruiting souls to commit to one day a month to pray for a true pope. You'll note that the wording is "pray for a pope" not "the pope" because the last six occupants have been imposters, false popes, anti-popes. The power of the Rosary has worked so many times when there is strength in numbers. Just remember Pope St. Pius V's plea for victory at Lepanto. It can happen again. We just have to have faith, conviction, and action in storming Heaven. Remember, Jesus cannot say no to His Blessed Mother. Contact Sign Up to Pray for a Pope and for more see Pray for a Pope

          Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
          Body of Christ, save me.
          Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
          Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
          O good Jesus, hear me.
          Within Thy wounds, hide me.
Permit me to never be separated from Thee.
From the malicious enemy, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
And bid me to come to unto Thee
That with Thy Saints I may praise Thee
          Forever and ever. Amen.

          Anima Christi, sanctifica me.
          Corpus Christi, salva me.
          Sanguis Christi, inebria me.
          Aqua lateris Christi, lava me.
          Passio Christi, conforta me.
          O bone Iesu, exaudi me.
          Intra Tua vulnera absconde me.
Ne permittas me separari a Te.
          Ab hoste maligno defende me.
In hora mortis meae voca me.
Et iube me venire ad Te,
Ut cum Sanctis tuis laudem te
          in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

          Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

        • The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

          MEMORARE

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Amen.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.
Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

          Hail Mary...

And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us.

          Hail Mary...

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

          Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructis ventris tui, Jesus.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Ecce ancilla Domini. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

          Ave Maria...

Et Verbum caro factum est. Et habitavit in nobis.

          Ave Maria...

Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genitrix. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

          Oremus.
Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitiam et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae caelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude. Amen.
