The world is at war. A war of terrorism against body and soul. We, in the United States, face two very large wars that are intrinsicly linked, yet very few connect the dots, as once we would have done when we remembered how to think for ourselves, when we knew right from wrong.

        The first war, the far more serious of the two, is the spiritual war we must wage against the false conciliar church that dares call itself "Catholic." Despite the sodomite sex scandals and tacit approval of abortion by the conciliar hierarchy that rests fully with Benedict/Ratzinger and cry to Heaven for vengeance, countless souls continue to attend the newchurch's false "masses", receive phony sacraments, and pour their hard-earned money into the coffers of a heretical sect. How do we conquer this evil? First and always, prayer. Yet, in the heart of my soul, I feel an increasing need to don armor and mael, and begin a crusade just as once the Catholic world formed massive crusades to turn back the infidel Muslim hordes. Today, those who have been brainwashed into believing the false religion of Islam, have declared a fatwa to destroy by violence, infiltration and deception anybody who does not convert to their heretical sect. And what are the conciliar and progressives' response? Not only to tolerate this religion of hate, but to praise it, justifying it by placing Islam and every protestant sect out there, plus any other "ism" that exists, on an equal footing with the only Church founded by the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, the Son of God Jesus Christ.

        At the beginning of August we put online a well-publicized spread offering readers the opportunity to pledge to fight for the One True Faith through following the Apostles ...in their footsteps, for we are the Church Militant, whether we don armor, or fall upon our knees in prayer. To this day, only a handful of people have made a small pledge, and, with every passing day The DailyCatholic remains in critical condition, on life support, if you will, with satan celebrating the apathy of traditional Catholics. All Michael and I can do, and do, is to pray for hearts to be softened, for those who can spare a couple of dollars a month to assist us in spreading the True Faith, to come forward. Sometimes, it seems that the harder we try to obey God's commands and teachings, to do what He and His Most Holy Mother Mary have asked of us, the fewer the people who respond to a genuine need. Why? Only God knows. Yet, in humility, I remind you that when we face our personal judgement, God will not ask us what we accomplished while here on earth for His Honor and Glory and the spread of the One True Faith, but, rather, whether or not we tried and trusted upon Him for all else. What will you be judged upon? Your efforts to help perpetuate the true Faith, or lack thereof?

        The second war we face is a temporal one. That is to take back our nation as the Republic it was created to be by our founding fathers. That is the first step to restoring Christ as our Sovereign King and Mary as our Immaculate Queen. Only then can our beloved land return to the harbor of holy Mother Church. It is important to realize that under this Republic lies our Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution and Bill of Rights. In the last century, we have lost all knowledge of these documents, as well as the labors of those founding fathers who knew, from studying history, that democracies don't work, and lead to socialism and eventually a dictatorship where even Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin or Mao Se Tung would be made to blush when the world wakes up one morning and finds that the new emperor is satan incarnate. So much for those solemn words of the Declaration, "with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our Sacred Honor."

        In this war, we can and must take action. We must spread the truth, we must know the truth, and we must have God on our side. Why should He bother to help us save our nation, when we don't give Him the time of day, or begrudge giving Him even one hour on Sunday? Why should He help us when we're not willing to fight for him or support His soldiers in the Church Militant? Oh, how far we have fallen, not only spiritually, but also in our temporal care of that which the Good Lord deigned to give us--to be an American citizen, to live in a country that has prospered in all areas, and has been the most generous, charitable country to exist in the history of mankind. Yes, we must pray for our country, its leaders, and prepare to vote out every single progressive Democrat and Republican who is up for re-election in November. We must take back our country from those now in power who care nothing for the will of the people, but only their own agenda of Marxist Socialism. If you think we haven't lost all sense of what the United States of America should be, then you probably agree with the administration that building a mosque at ground zero is right and proper under the "freedom of religion" diatribe we hear about every day. So much for "Sacred Honor."

        These two wars, my dear friends, are huge. They require much study of authentic books, written by not only scholarly people, but more importantly, people of profound faith. We must become the crusaders of the 21st century, using not sword or gun, but our profound faith and trust in God to see us to victory on both fronts. Do we trust Him to do that? I'm beginning to wonder just how much we do trust Him. The words "In God we trust" may very well disappear from everything. Why? Because we have demonstrated through our lethargy that we do not trust Him. We surely don't love Him. If we did, we'd keep His Commandments.

        My dear friends, despite my frail health, which I willingly offer to God every day for the salvation of my own soul, and the souls of my family, and in expiation for the sins of the world, I am ready to don armor, and, duke it out in the trenches to uphold Trent against the counterfeit church of conciliarism that has had, as its Modernist mission, the collusion of compromise and syncretism with the intent to weaken and destroy Catholic truth. and our Constitution and God-given Bill of Rights against the three corrupt federal branches of America. If you are afraid, then you don't belong in the crusade I am begging you to form, from north, south, east, and west. If we have to walk, we'll walk. But we will take back our country, and dedicate it to Christ Our Lord, and drive back the Muslim hordes and all other enemies of Christ who seek to destroy us any way possible.

        Now, having tried to explain to you the two fronts we face in the most rigorous wars we've ever faced, I must tell you the truth about not just The DailyCatholic, but the person who has tirelessly overseen this apostolate for 20 years and who puts his entire heart and soul into it, working late into the night at the detriment of his own health. He has been crestfallen that so few have responded to our plea to follow ...in their footsteps, especially when this month's stats to date show over one million hits and just over 44,000 visitors to the site and yet you can count the number of donations on two hands! It is enough to lose faith in one's fellow man, but never in God. As Michael repeats the passage so many times, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

        It has grown so bad finance-wise that my husband has had to pare back his work on The DailyCatholic in order to seek outside employment just to pay the bills, pay for gas and feed our family. He's had to dust off his professional resume and re-enter the workforce. Not promising considering today's jobless numbers. As you know if you've followed our plight, with our older son disabled with severe epilepsy, our youngest son has been shouldering his share in helping us all survive. However, how Congress and this present administration has stifled the economy, he was laid off near the end of July. "Hope and Change" indeed. For the past month he's been hustling to find work which is nigh unto impossible. There are countless skilled college grads who can't even get a gig at McDonald's. It becomes discouraging and tears at the confidence as well as he pounds the pavement morning, noon, and night Monday through Saturday in search of any kind of job. Both sons struggle with the dichotomy of what they've been taught by us and the world's strong pull. Right now the world is winning and choking the coffers clean. So much for "change you can believe in."

        Our rent will be due on September third, which happens to be my birthday, always right around Labor Day. (As my mother always said, I was truly a labor of love!). My mom had a terrific sense of humor, and I think I do too. But having a sense of humor, having absolute trust in God's providence for us, is not going to help us get through September or October, which will be crucial months in determining whether we are able to continue publishing The DailyCatholic, let alone keep our dwelling.

        So, yes, I told my beloved spouse that I need to plead on these pages from the depths of my human heart as well as the heart of my soul. It is painful, more painful than any suffering the Good Lord sends me to fulfill my personal vows to Him, to see my husband looking older, suffering more in body than ever before, and our younger son frantic to find work, and I have not anything to offer them other than prayer and encouragement. We do not waste anything. We stock up when food items are on sale, try to eat as healthy as possible, eating fresh fruits and vegetables and cutting back on red meats, though Mike will never be a vegetarian except on Fridays. Yet, with each passing day it's slim pickings and getting slimmer.

        As a wife and mother, I appeal to all wives and mothers who are reading this. You know how much it hurts you to see any member of your family suffering, whether spiritually, or temporarily. If I could do it, I'd try to get a job tomorrow to help us weather this extremely tough depression. However, my health has fallen to a new low, and in truth before God, I could not handle a job outside the home and I know there are none to be had.

        And what is my job now? That which it has been for my entire life. Prayer. Yes, much prayer that supports the work my husband does for The DailyCatholic. I see the lines of worry and stress on his face, I hear his shallow breathing, and I hear the frustration in our younger son's voice as he calls about jobs and follows up every day, and finds nothing. As a wife and mother, I plead with all of you to help us. Help us to make ends meet. Our son doesn't want unemployment benefits. He wants to work...hard. He'll work two, three jobs a day if necessary, but he wants honest employment more than any government handout. All that is available are commission sales and that entails days of training without pay and then paying for his own gas. It costs him more and when he does make a sale, he barely breaks even. I believe many of you are in the same boat as we are financially, so I want you to know that you are never out of my humble prayers.

        Yet, the Good Lord has put upon my soul the knowledge that there are many who can pay their monthly bills, and still have plenty left for a rainy day. My dear friends, it is raining in this household, and we do not have the plans for the ark. You are today's ark...and God will never let you down if you are charitable to us in this severe economic decline, as Michael and I have entered our sunset years.

        To all of you, I commend you to the Sorrowful and Immaculate of Mary, the supreme wife and mother, who knows full well that our plea is just, and she takes all of our prayers, our needs to her Divine Son. She will do the same for you. My dear friends, God created us for a reason, and placed us on this earth at this time for the precise reason we were created in our mothers' wombs. Now, He does not need to perform miracles when He expects His little ones to help one another. Yes, it hurts to have to ask, but I do ask, with humility, and swallowing any pride I have left for Love of Him, and to spread the One True Faith.

        There is no other way I can ask, my dear friends. We have come to a position where we are paralyzed in our mortal lives and I end by assuring you that you are remembered at every Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and in every prayer, Holy Hour, Rosary, and every sigh of my soul that the angels take to the throne of Almighty God.

        We need a crusade, my dear friends, not only to take back our country, and to extinguish the heresy of the conciliar church, but to come to the aid of those in dire need who are laboring in Our Lord's vineyard. Is it not time to roust the lukewarm in prompting them to be generous, to get involved, to gear for the battle of battles we are all encountering? If not now, when? Perhaps never. That's the true tragedy.

        Keeping every one of you in my prayers, I trust in God to move your hearts to help at this perilous time.

       As much as we detest bringing up needing funds, especially when such commodity is so rare today, it is necessary in order to continue this apostolate. Very necessary.     We present our second edition of the Annual Mid-Summer Hiatus features, highlighted in the next edition by the 100th Anniversary of Pope Saint Pius X's landmark mandatory Oath Against Modernism that should convince all of the sedevacantist position that Fr. Joseph Ratzinger gravely violated his Sacred Oath and abdicated any authority long before he was elected by the conciliar conclave, just as his conciliar predecessors Angelo Roncalli, Giovanni Montini, Luciani Albino and Karol Wojtyla also deviated from the faith in violating their vow to God when they took that very Oath. Montini especially incurred the wrath of Almighty God and the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul when he negated both the Oath and the Prayer to St. Michael, thus opening the door wide for satan to slither in and lay a nest of vipers that now own the Vatican lock and stock and snakepit. 60 years ago on August 12 His Holiness Pope Pius XII also tried to stave off the onrushing Modernist rebellion by issuing his encyclical Humani Generis on the dire warning to Catholics over the false opinions and errors threatening to undermine the holy Faith.

Every tree that yieldeth not good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them." From Our Lord's Own words we know that even when one wades through Ecclesiastical law, one realizes something is truly rotten in Rome and the only answer is it is a bad tree that has produced no good fruit for 50 years whereas the true Catholic Church is a good tree that continues to produce good fruit, albeit hidden from most. We have brought this home quite well in our special Third Anniversary Commiseration of the Motu Mess on these pages last month. All must realize the conciliar church is a bad tree, and therefore its destiny is inevitable: the conflagration of conciliarism. Praise the Lord and pass the matches.

       Traditio recently alerted readers that "One press that used to be considered 'traditional' was sold out a couple of years ago to a Protestant conglomerate, but still calls itself 'traditional,' even though its publications now fully support the Protestant Novus Ordo. That press that published Fr. James Wathen's 1971 seminal work against the validity of the Novus Ordo, The Great Sacrilege, has pulled the book from its list because, now under its Protestant directors, it is no longer permitted to state that 'the New Mass [sic] is illegal, immoral, and not Catholic.' The once-courageous press can no longer publish a book that it now claims, under its new Protestant management, 'defames the [New]church and calls its approved form of the mass [sic] an invalid sacrilege.' The press now specifically rejects the truth that the Traditional Latin Mass "is the 'only' and 'true' Mass and that the Novus Ordo is invalid or illicit."

       The Fathers are, of course, referring to TAN Books. But have no fear. We are pleased to remind all readers that the late Fr. Wathen graciously gave The DailyCatholic permission in September 2001 to publish the entire book online so that it could be read by everyone, no matter the censorship by the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Thus, you can read his entire masterful work that has withstood the test of 40 years. No one has been able to refute the truth of his words in The Great Sacrilege

  • In these times when Modernism has metastasized souls, we need to go back to the basics laid out by Pope St. Pius X and urge the "resist-yet-recognize" folks to compare and then decide with Pius and all the true Popes as well as the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church: Modernism is heresy; Ratzinger, and those before him-Wojtyla, Luciani, Montini and Roncalli - all Modernists. Ergo, they are all heretics and could not be true popes! Period!

    On Wednesday, September 1 we commemorate the 100th anniversary of His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X issuing a seemingly failsafe mandate to prevent Modernism and other heresies from permeating holy Mother Church with his landmark "Oath Against Modernism". Tragically, as we know few calculated on how many insincere and blasphemous, sacrilegious priests would break that vow to God and rise in office through the ranks to join the enemy of Christ in their attempt to destroy His Church. St. Pius and his successors did not count on the minions forming in the fifth column that would work to eliminate this most necessary, vital Oath. Despite all the precautions this saintly pope did take, it shows just how powerful the devil can be. Remember also, dear friends, that one Joseph Ratzinger took this very oath several times in his rise through the orders to the priesthoood with other conciliar Modernists, beginning with Giovanni Montini, who did away with, thus exposing himself and all others who complied as enemies of God for their rejection of Catholic truth and tradition.     On Friday we celebrate St. Pius X's Feast of the holy Pontiff Pope Saint Pius X who was such a crusader against Modernism, the "synthesis of all heresies." Three years ago we commemorated the centennial anniversary of two of his landmark papal decrees warning the faithful of the dangers of this insidious heresy. In recalling St. Pius X's life and studying his encyclicals and papal decrees, it is as if he had seen ahead of time what would occur in his beloved Church and so tried to warn the faithful and the hierarchy.     The holy Doctor of the Church Saint Alphonsus Liguori was born near Naples and received a law doctorate in his teens. He had the world as his oyster and chose to cast his net into the sea in being a fisher of men. He founded an order dedicated to redeeming souls and he wrote volumes during a time when the enlightenment was already threatening the foundations of the Church. He vowed never to waste a moment and never did. He was the outstanding moral theologian who held the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as the greatest gift any Catholic could partake in. He foretold the very crisis the Church is suffering today when he prophesied, "The devil has always attempted, by means of the heretics, to deprive the world of the Mass, making them precursors of the antichrist, who, before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish the Holy Sacrament of the altar, as a punishment for the sins of men, according to the prediction of Daniel 'And strength was given him against the continual sacrificer'." Alphonsus, through a thorough knowledge of the Faith, the cavalier attitude already permeating the Church and through messages he himself received from Heaven, knew that day would come when, just as Our Lord foretold in Matthew 24: 15, the "abomination of desolation" would occur. He was truly the Keeper of the Moral Compass

    August 20 is the Double Feast of the holy Abbot and Doctor of the Church Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. He was a truly dedicated man who turned his back on the world and took over 30 men with him to devote their lives to God. He built monasteries throughout western Europe and was the confidante of popes and kings, beggars and paupers. He was the main man in preaching the purpose of the Crusade to recover the holy land where Our Lord and Savior walked. Bernard traversed the continent stirring men through prayer and reason, never compromising the Truths and Traditions. He was responsible for the revival of the Cistercian Order. This holy and mystic Abbot from France composed one of the most beautiful prayers ever created the Memorare out of thorought devotion Our Lady . He was devoted heart and soul to his Crucified Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . The holy Abbot of Clairvaux received many visions and messages through private revelation, one of which was his zeal to help the suffering Christ so that he offered to help Him bear the terrible suffering of the cross. Christ comforted Bernard and inspired him to carry His word and faith to all parts of Europe and the mideast, entreating the saint to defend the true pontiff Pope Innocent II as opposed to the antipope Anaclete II.     Saint Augustine, whom we celebrate on August 28 is one of the greatest Doctors of the Church, one of the greatest single intellects ever. Like the Apostle Saint Paul, he began as a notorious sinner, embracing heresy after heresy, but when grace finally touched him through the prayer and reparation of others, this Saul turned into a Paul and his cries for truth were mostly heard and responded to in Heaven by the relentless efforts and graces of his loving, persevering mother Saint Monica and his mentor, the Bishop of Milan, the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Ambrose, who is credited with the conversion of this man from Hippo. Sadly today neither Augustine, his mother Monica or Ambrose or all the saints who passed through this veil of tears over the centuries, would recognize the counterfeit church of conciliarism as Catholic. They would have denounced from the beginning the aggiornamento and "new springtime" as heretical and extremely harmful to souls. It was the holy Augustine, born in Tagaste, Africa who authored "City of God" - the magnificent opus on Christian philosophy - as well as his very popular work "Confessions" which, in his time and over the centuries, has drawn countless souls to the Faith. Other than the Angelic Doctor Saint Thomas Aquinas, no one has had more influence on Western Culture in the Church than Saint Augustine, The Doctor of Grace


    John Gregory has provided inspiring, thought-provoking meditations for the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Our Lady's Holy Rosary first bestowed to Saint Dominic early in the thirteenth century. Since then her holy psalter has served as the most powerful weapon outside the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we could wield against the world, the flesh, and the devil. For the Fourth Glorious Mystery reflection John focuses on His Holiness Pope Pius XII's decree in proclaiming the Dogma of the Assumption on November 1, 1950 with his encyclical Munificentissimus Deus. John takes this papal decree and divides it with the first part applying to the Fourth Mystery of the Rosary on the Assumption of Our Lady into Heaven. The belief of this dogmatic fact was long held by the Magisterium of the Church from the very time of the Blessed Mother being lifted up into Heaven, yet never fully proclaimed as a definitive Dogma until His Holiness Pius XII, in complete harmony with all the authentic bishops of the Church, decreed it. This inspiring papal decree is the compendium of an ideal meditation on the Fourth Glorious Mystery.     "What in this dawn before which the brightest constellations pale? Laurence, who has been shining in the August heavens as an incomparable star, is well nigh eclipsed and becomes but the humble satellite of the Queen of Saints, whose triumph is preparing beyond the clouds. Mary stayed on earth after her Son's Ascension, in order to give birth to His Church; but she could not remain for ever in exile. Yet she was not to take her flight to Heaven until this new fruit of her maternity had acquired the growth and strength which it belongs to a mother to give. How sweet to the Church was this dependence! - a privilege given to her members by our Lord in imitation of Himself. As we saw at Christmas-tme, the God-Man carried first in the arms of His Mother, gathering His strength and nourishing His life at her virginal breast; so the mystical body of the Man-God, the Holy Church, received, in its first years, the same care from Mary as the divine Child our Emmanuel. As Joseph heretofore at Nazareth, Peter was now ruling the house of God; but our Lady was none the less to the assembly of the faithful the source of life in the spiritual order, as she had been to Jesus in His Humanity. On the day of Pentecost the Holy Ghost and every one of His gifts rested first upon her in all fulness; every grace bestowed on the privileged dwellers in the cenacle was given more eminently and more abundantly to her. The sacred stream of the river maketh the city of God joyful, because first of all the Most High has sanctified His Own tabernacle, made her the the well of living waters, which run with a strong stream from Libanus...The Spouse, the Church on earth, the Church in Heaven, all were waiting for her, who had tended the vine and strengthened its roots, to utter a word such as that which had heretofore brought down the Spouse to earth. But today Heaven, not earth, was to be the gainer. 'Flee away, O my Beloved' It was the voice of Mary about to follow the fragrant footsteps of the Lord her Son up to the eternal mountains whither her own perfumes had preceded her."     The feast of St. Clare is the 60th Anniversary of His Holiness Pope Pius XII's Encyclical Humani Generis issued on August 12, 1950 in which he warned Catholics of the false opinions and errors threatening to undermine the holy Faith. A few months later on November 1 His Holiness would declare the Dogma of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul into Heaven with his encyclical Munificentissimus Deus. It would be the Last Infallible Proclamation from the Seat of Peter. Since that time nothing has been spoken ex cathedra. We can see how those in charge today totally ignored his sage words of Humani Generis and furiously forged ahead with their agendas so that when His Holiness passed away on October 9, 1958, all hell would break loose and did with the Modernists gaining control and eclipsing the very Church Christ established on earth with a counterfeit ape that has done everything in its power to destroy the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church with the origins of aggiornamento in aiding the prince of the world to gain countless souls for God's chief adversary, causing Heaven to weep how the wolves in sheep's clothing have totally pulled the wool over the flocks' eyes as Papa Pacelli had warned in his encyclical Humani Generis


    n honor of the holy patron of priests, Saint Jean Baptiste Marie Vianney, the beloved Cure of Ars in France, we present a sermon in which this humble holy priest holds nothing back in exacting a thorough examination of our souls, consciences and habits. By and large Traditional Catholics live their daily lives free of mortal sin, but how many of us seriously take the Cure of Ars' words seriously enough to move out of whatever comfort zone we are in at the present and strive to love God more, to be more aware of His role for each of us, and to manifest our choice of God over the world? That is a question St. Jean Marie Vianney asks. How will we answer? His words are as applicable today, even moreso, than in his time as parish vicar in the post French Revolution days of the first half of the 19th century. It is time today to go back to square one and truly take in the words and heart of this saintly pastor who warned against this because of one problem, the lukewarmness of Catholics who dropped their guard to how powerful satan is and the holy Pere Vianney tells it like it is with his sermon On the Lukewarmness of Souls


    Faith, Hope and Charity are the cross, anchor, and burning heart that sustain us through the theological virtues and open to us the bountiful Gifts and Fruits. Without these vital virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity, one cannot possess spiritual virtue nor reach Heaven. If one lacks the Virtue of Faith, one does not trust in God and therefore it is impossible to please Him for one lacks faith in Him. If one lacks Hope, the opposite is despair and despair of the Holy Ghost is an unpardonable sin if it is one's last act. Finally, if one lacks Charity one exhibits that they do not love God if they do not love their neighbor as Christ mandates as the Two Great Commandments. So basically, without the theological virtues one cannot reach Heaven. That is why they are represented symbolically by the cross to signify the price for redemption, the anchor to signify we must not only be grounded in Faith but trust in God with unwavering Hope, and the heart for Charity for its beating sustains life both in this finite life and in the hereafter. And to reach the afterlife one can better achieve that goal through the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Ghost as is outlined in Step Eleven, Gifts and Fruits of Faith, Hope and Charity.



          It has definitely been a decade of transition, as this editor dubs it - Transition to Tradition, our last opportunity before God really lowers the boom. Looking back, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see the deterioration in society as the ranks of the good, decent ones striving for holiness grow smaller and the enemy flanks are massing larger and larger, more threatening than ever. With every day we inch closer to the apocalypse foretold in the book of the same name, contrary to Protestant and conciliar concerns that it was always called "Revelation." Would St. John the Evangelist be surprised, and for that matter the holy Doctor of the Church who translated it and several of the holy hierarchs who ratified the Scriptures at various major councils of the Church, most recently at the dogmatic Council of Trent. Many closet conciliarists reading this may not be familiar with that council since the robber barons have sought to eliminate any mention of Trent in the same manner as the U.S. Government is doing everything it can to wipe out any mention of God. For both these offenses there are consequences, grave ones and we are beginning to see now that both anti-Catholic campaigns by the counterfeit church of conciliarism and the United States Congress and its cohorts in the Obama administration both in Washington and Chicago are getting more desperate as each day passes. Those not grounded in grace had best get right with God before it is too late. Call it "gloom and doom" if you want, but that doom can be eternal and that would cause anyone gloom. Can you say fire and brimstone? To remind you, we will be bringing you throughout this year "Diadems of the Decade" featuring an article from each month of each of the past ten years. We're not saying these are the "Best" of the decade for how do you choose which ones are the best? Yet, they are gems that we want to share for we're sure you will treasure them and realize, like fine jewels, they are still as valuable today especially when investing in souls. It is a bill of goods that is bad, really, really bad as in sinful with a capital "S"...as in abortion with the scarlet letter "A." He asked how was this method of manslaughter any different than Hitler's edict to eliminate those who didn't measure up to his concept of what society should be. The Democratic Party has learned well from Hitler .


    A True Church would have truly cared about the welfare of souls and have reeled in the Weakest link before the damage was done by never allowing a criminal pervert to be ordained. But those who did allow it weren't the True Church, were they?

    Nine years ago, Marian Therese Horvat, Ph.D. weighed in on the sad controversy in Milwaukee where the progressive Benedictine prelate 'Archbishop' Rembert Weakland, O.S.B. balked at Modern Rome's direct order to cease and desist from removing the main altar from the old cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in downtown Milwaukee. Of course in retrospect we all realize who Weakland really was and the fact that there has been no authority in Rome since Vatican II. Weakland's resistance was a sure sign that he had no intention of heeding anything but his own perverted lifestyle, the flocked he fleeced be damned. Another problem is that 40 years after Vatican II Modern Rome, in effect, did not in 2001, nor today in 2010, have adequate criteria for church building and renovations. The great conundrum here is that the Modernist Rome was stepping in to support violation of canonical norms in respect to the desacralization of St. John the Evangelist, but did nothing about the Los Angeles atrocity they still try to pass off as a cathedral, which defies all canonical criteria.     The only difference between the terrorist disaster of the Twin Towers and how the smoke of satan seaped in to destroy everthing in its path is that to the world 9-11 was very visible, whereas Vatican II was invisible yet more deadly, far, far more deadly to souls.

    Ten reasons why spiritual leaders do not lead when push comes to shove because they're intimidated by the politically correct canard. The question is: Will we choose to follow Christ or the Beasts?

    Seven years ago we received permission from syndicated columnist Doug Giles, author of 'Ruling in Babylon' and owner of Clashradio.com. We asked all back then to it to not just pastors, priests and ministers but those who are most responsible: the prelates - bishops who were entrusted with the spiritual welfare of souls.     Few movements in the annals of history have caused the eclipse of morality as sodomy, which Washington D.C. is fast embracing with legislature that will lead to its ultimate ruin - for God will not be mocked.

    Back in 2005, Gabriel Garnica ran a multi-series dubbed "Incorrigible Dirigibles" and in part three he offered a possible dark glimpse of the future - very dark for we are fast approaching the Eclipse of Morality thanks to sodomy. Oh, sadly, how right he was. While one might think he was being facetious in his words, considering what has happened over the last five years and since then even, it truly gives one pause to fear - can it happen? Unfortunately the answer is yes. If you break down the word 'mite' in sodomite, one realizes a mite is a very small or minute arachnid or creature which often infests. How appropriate for the militant homosexual lobbyists take a magnifying glass to their numbers and distort reality by posing that they are growing into a majority, and indeed they may eventually do just that by infesting all aspects of life from the courts to the chambers to the media channels to the chanceries to the curia. This aberration against God and His Natural Law has got to stop, but will it before more souls are infected?     A Call for all Traditionalists look at the bigger picture and unite in things essential.

    Too many times Traditionalists can get too self-righteous and therefore a piece like Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. wrote four years ago was a necessary reminder of the rut we can all get in and why the petty bickering serves no one except satan and his minions. In order to break the chains we all need to pray for the grace of recognizing our fellow Traditionalists for what they truly strive to be and live: Catholics. Fr. Trinchard pointed out the fruitlessness of bickering about the little things while the main issue Traditionalists are in agreement with - the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass - is undermined further by the conciliar church as countless 'Catholics' continue to applaud and follow the conciliar emperor, not realizing he has no clothes. In fact, considering the fruits as Christ said in St. Matthew 7: 15-21, one would surely say, this "emperor" is "fruitless" as well. This very word is ideal for describing the modernist church. What also is fruitless is for Traditionalists to continue to argue uncharitably over the little things.     To Consider that a member of the Jewish Sanhedrin could be a saint might, on the surface, sound more like more of Ratzinger's heretical ecumenism, but in fact, there are three generations of loyal High Priests who were working in concert with the Lord, and the last in that lineage could very well be a saint.

    With the 2000 year anniversary of the Apostle Saint Paul's birth in Tarsus two years ago, Scott Montgomery presented a fascinating, factual account of the early life of the Apostle of the Gentiles and how God all along had prepared him through Jewish Law with a very special teacher of the lineage of the good Rabbis before Christ's public life in order for St. Paul to carry out the mission he would eventually accomplish after his "awakening" on the road to Damascus. While it is true that the Apostle of the Gentiles was graced by visions of Christ Himself and was greatly inspired by the Holy Ghost, Paul's own knowledge and human inspiration came from the one God had prepared for him for his special mission under the master Rabban Gamaliel, son of Simeon and grandson of the faithful Hillel. Many times we lump the Pharisees into one loathsome list, but there were exceptions which are shown here in the lineage of Hillel. Scott shared this, as well as a short tie-in with the finding of the Relics of St. Stephen in addition to an excellent extract, giving credence to St. Paul being the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, by Fr. Fernand Prat, S.J. whom Pope Saint Pius X had personally appointed as one of the forty consultors to the Pontifical Biblical Commission in 1903.     If we're really striving for holiness it's time to shut up and listen by really using that God-given mass of potential between our ears. It's the way saints are made.

    One year ago Griff Ruby set aside his polemics on scholastic dishonesty and his series on sedevacantism to ask readers to use the month of the Immaculate Heart to focus on improving their meditation. With the overload of information inundating us these days from every medium that most portends doom and gloom, a retreat into a contemplative zone can do wonders for one's soul and psyche. During these dog days of summer, why not try relaxing our minds by turning inward through meditation to converse with truly man's best friend ever: God. He asked us to meditate not in the sense of eastern mysticism, but in the manner the Church asks us to pray, through contemplative communication with Him by blotting out worldly things. We, who are finite, talk to Him so much, and yet we don't seem to take the time to hear what the Infinite has to say to us. How can we steer souls, beginning with our own, if we don't listen to the Instructor, the Supreme Admiral to guide us over the rough and turbulent sea of life? Open your ears and heart, and the mind will focus on things not of this earth, but of what God wants. Try it, you'll like. Griff laid out the simple formula in his article On Meditation
