Traditio recently alerted readers that "One press that used to be considered 'traditional' was sold out a couple of years ago to a Protestant conglomerate, but still calls itself 'traditional,' even though its publications now fully support the Protestant Novus Ordo. That press that published Fr. James Wathen's 1971 seminal work against the validity of the Novus Ordo, The Great Sacrilege, has pulled the book from its list because, now under its Protestant directors, it is no longer permitted to state that 'the New Mass [sic] is illegal, immoral, and not Catholic.' The once-courageous press can no longer publish a book that it now claims, under its new Protestant management, 'defames the [New]church and calls its approved form of the mass [sic] an invalid sacrilege.' The press now specifically rejects the truth that the Traditional Latin Mass "is the 'only' and 'true' Mass and that the Novus Ordo is invalid or illicit." The Fathers are, of course, referring to TAN Books. But have no fear. We are pleased to remind all readers that the late Fr. Wathen graciously gave The DailyCatholic permission in September 2001 to publish the entire book online so that it could be read by everyone, no matter the censorship by the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Thus, you can read his entire masterful work that has withstood the test of 40 years. No one has been able to refute the truth of his words in The Great Sacrilege

In these times when Modernism has metastasized souls, we need to go back to the basics laid out by Pope St. Pius X and urge the "resist-yet-recognize" folks to compare and then decide with Pius and all the true Popes as well as the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church: Modernism is heresy; Ratzinger, and those before him-Wojtyla, Luciani, Montini and Roncalli - all Modernists. Ergo, they are all heretics and could not be true popes! Period!
On Wednesday, September 1 we commemorate the 100th anniversary of His Holiness Pope Saint Pius X issuing a seemingly failsafe mandate to prevent Modernism and other heresies from permeating holy Mother Church with his landmark "Oath Against Modernism". Tragically, as we know few calculated on how many insincere and blasphemous, sacrilegious priests would break that vow to God and rise in office through the ranks to join the enemy of Christ in their attempt to destroy His Church. St. Pius and his successors did not count on the minions forming in the fifth column that would work to eliminate this most necessary, vital Oath. Despite all the precautions this saintly pope did take, it shows just how powerful the devil can be. Remember also, dear friends, that one Joseph Ratzinger took this very oath several times in his rise through the orders to the priesthoood with other conciliar Modernists, beginning with Giovanni Montini, who did away with, thus exposing himself and all others who complied as enemies of God for their rejection of Catholic truth and tradition. Read this short oath for yourself and see for yourself. Oath Against Modernism
On Friday we celebrate St. Pius X's Feast of the holy Pontiff Pope Saint Pius X who was such a crusader against Modernism, the "synthesis of all heresies." Three years ago we commemorated the centennial anniversary of two of his landmark papal decrees warning the faithful of the dangers of this insidious heresy. Lamentabili Sane on July 3 and on September 8 his landmark encyclical Pascendi Dominic Gregis against Modernism, that would be reinforced three years with the mandatory Oath. In recalling St. Pius X's life and studying his encyclicals and papal decrees, it is as if he had seen ahead of time what would occur in his beloved Church and so tried to warn the faithful and the hierarchy. In honor of the legacy of this saintly Pontiff, we present a detailed biography of the man the kind of shepherd so sorely missing today; We can only hope and pray that someday, in God's time, He will lift up a true shepherd devoted to upholding the Apostolic Traditions as St. Pius X was and who did all in his power to safeguard the Sacred Deposit of the Faith For more about this cardinal from northern Italy, see The Story of St. Pius X

The holy Doctor of the Church Saint Alphonsus Liguori was born near Naples and received a law doctorate in his teens. He had the world as his oyster and chose to cast his net into the sea in being a fisher of men. He founded an order dedicated to redeeming souls and he wrote volumes during a time when the enlightenment was already threatening the foundations of the Church. He vowed never to waste a moment and never did. He was the outstanding moral theologian who held the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as the greatest gift any Catholic could partake in. He foretold the very crisis the Church is suffering today when he prophesied, "The devil has always attempted, by means of the heretics, to deprive the world of the Mass, making them precursors of the antichrist, who, before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish the Holy Sacrament of the altar, as a punishment for the sins of men, according to the prediction of Daniel 'And strength was given him against the continual sacrificer'." Alphonsus, through a thorough knowledge of the Faith, the cavalier attitude already permeating the Church and through messages he himself received from Heaven, knew that day would come when, just as Our Lord foretold in Matthew 24: 15, the "abomination of desolation" would occur. He was truly the Keeper of the Moral Compass

August 20 is the Double Feast of the holy Abbot and Doctor of the Church Saint Bernard of Clairvaux. He was a truly dedicated man who turned his back on the world and took over 30 men with him to devote their lives to God. He built monasteries throughout western Europe and was the confidante of popes and kings, beggars and paupers. He was the main man in preaching the purpose of the Crusade to recover the holy land where Our Lord and Savior walked. Bernard traversed the continent stirring men through prayer and reason, never compromising the Truths and Traditions. He was responsible for the revival of the Cistercian Order. This holy and mystic Abbot from France composed one of the most beautiful prayers ever created the Memorare out of thorought devotion Our Lady . He was devoted heart and soul to his Crucified Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . The holy Abbot of Clairvaux received many visions and messages through private revelation, one of which was his zeal to help the suffering Christ so that he offered to help Him bear the terrible suffering of the cross. Christ comforted Bernard and inspired him to carry His word and faith to all parts of Europe and the mideast, entreating the saint to defend the true pontiff Pope Innocent II as opposed to the antipope Anaclete II. Saint Augustine, whom we celebrate on August 28 is one of the greatest Doctors of the Church, one of the greatest single intellects ever. Like the Apostle Saint Paul, he began as a notorious sinner, embracing heresy after heresy, but when grace finally touched him through the prayer and reparation of others, this Saul turned into a Paul and his cries for truth were mostly heard and responded to in Heaven by the relentless efforts and graces of his loving, persevering mother Saint Monica and his mentor, the Bishop of Milan, the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Ambrose, who is credited with the conversion of this man from Hippo. Sadly today neither Augustine, his mother Monica or Ambrose or all the saints who passed through this veil of tears over the centuries, would recognize the counterfeit church of conciliarism as Catholic. They would have denounced from the beginning the aggiornamento and "new springtime" as heretical and extremely harmful to souls. It was the holy Augustine, born in Tagaste, Africa who authored "City of God" - the magnificent opus on Christian philosophy - as well as his very popular work "Confessions" which, in his time and over the centuries, has drawn countless souls to the Faith. Other than the Angelic Doctor Saint Thomas Aquinas, no one has had more influence on Western Culture in the Church than Saint Augustine, The Doctor of Grace

John Gregory has provided inspiring, thought-provoking meditations for the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Our Lady's Holy Rosary first bestowed to Saint Dominic early in the thirteenth century. Since then her holy psalter has served as the most powerful weapon outside the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we could wield against the world, the flesh, and the devil. For the Fourth Glorious Mystery reflection John focuses on His Holiness Pope Pius XII's decree in proclaiming the Dogma of the Assumption on November 1, 1950 with his encyclical Munificentissimus Deus. John takes this papal decree and divides it with the first part applying to the Fourth Mystery of the Rosary on the Assumption of Our Lady into Heaven. The belief of this dogmatic fact was long held by the Magisterium of the Church from the very time of the Blessed Mother being lifted up into Heaven, yet never fully proclaimed as a definitive Dogma until His Holiness Pius XII, in complete harmony with all the authentic bishops of the Church, decreed it. This inspiring papal decree is the compendium of an ideal meditation on the Fourth Glorious Mystery. In honor of this month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, he shares his reflection on
The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven
"What in this dawn before which the brightest constellations pale? Laurence, who has been shining in the August heavens as an incomparable star, is well nigh eclipsed and becomes but the humble satellite of the Queen of Saints, whose triumph is preparing beyond the clouds. Mary stayed on earth after her Son's Ascension, in order to give birth to His Church; but she could not remain for ever in exile. Yet she was not to take her flight to Heaven until this new fruit of her maternity had acquired the growth and strength which it belongs to a mother to give. How sweet to the Church was this dependence! - a privilege given to her members by our Lord in imitation of Himself. As we saw at Christmas-tme, the God-Man carried first in the arms of His Mother, gathering His strength and nourishing His life at her virginal breast; so the mystical body of the Man-God, the Holy Church, received, in its first years, the same care from Mary as the divine Child our Emmanuel. As Joseph heretofore at Nazareth, Peter was now ruling the house of God; but our Lady was none the less to the assembly of the faithful the source of life in the spiritual order, as she had been to Jesus in His Humanity. On the day of Pentecost the Holy Ghost and every one of His gifts rested first upon her in all fulness; every grace bestowed on the privileged dwellers in the cenacle was given more eminently and more abundantly to her. The sacred stream of the river maketh the city of God joyful, because first of all the Most High has sanctified His Own tabernacle, made her the the well of living waters, which run with a strong stream from Libanus...The Spouse, the Church on earth, the Church in Heaven, all were waiting for her, who had tended the vine and strengthened its roots, to utter a word such as that which had heretofore brought down the Spouse to earth. But today Heaven, not earth, was to be the gainer. 'Flee away, O my Beloved' It was the voice of Mary about to follow the fragrant footsteps of the Lord her Son up to the eternal mountains whither her own perfumes had preceded her."
Dom Prosper Gueranger, The Liturgical Year, The Vigil of the Assumption, pages 347-8, 350-51.
The feast of St. Clare is the 60th Anniversary of His Holiness Pope Pius XII's Encyclical Humani Generis issued on August 12, 1950 in which he warned Catholics of the false opinions and errors threatening to undermine the holy Faith. A few months later on November 1 His Holiness would declare the Dogma of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul into Heaven with his encyclical Munificentissimus Deus. It would be the Last Infallible Proclamation from the Seat of Peter. Since that time nothing has been spoken ex cathedra. We can see how those in charge today totally ignored his sage words of Humani Generis and furiously forged ahead with their agendas so that when His Holiness passed away on October 9, 1958, all hell would break loose and did with the Modernists gaining control and eclipsing the very Church Christ established on earth with a counterfeit ape that has done everything in its power to destroy the Truths and Traditions of holy Mother Church with the origins of aggiornamento in aiding the prince of the world to gain countless souls for God's chief adversary, causing Heaven to weep how the wolves in sheep's clothing have totally pulled the wool over the flocks' eyes as Papa Pacelli had warned in his encyclical Humani Generis
n honor of the holy patron of priests, Saint Jean Baptiste Marie Vianney, the beloved Cure of Ars in France, we present a sermon in which this humble holy priest holds nothing back in exacting a thorough examination of our souls, consciences and habits. By and large Traditional Catholics live their daily lives free of mortal sin, but how many of us seriously take the Cure of Ars' words seriously enough to move out of whatever comfort zone we are in at the present and strive to love God more, to be more aware of His role for each of us, and to manifest our choice of God over the world? That is a question St. Jean Marie Vianney asks. How will we answer? His words are as applicable today, even moreso, than in his time as parish vicar in the post French Revolution days of the first half of the 19th century. It is time today to go back to square one and truly take in the words and heart of this saintly pastor who warned against this because of one problem, the lukewarmness of Catholics who dropped their guard to how powerful satan is and the holy Pere Vianney tells it like it is with his sermon On the Lukewarmness of Souls
Faith, Hope and Charity are the cross, anchor, and burning heart that sustain us through the theological virtues and open to us the bountiful Gifts and Fruits. Without these vital virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity, one cannot possess spiritual virtue nor reach Heaven. If one lacks the Virtue of Faith, one does not trust in God and therefore it is impossible to please Him for one lacks faith in Him. If one lacks Hope, the opposite is despair and despair of the Holy Ghost is an unpardonable sin if it is one's last act. Finally, if one lacks Charity one exhibits that they do not love God if they do not love their neighbor as Christ mandates as the Two Great Commandments. So basically, without the theological virtues one cannot reach Heaven. That is why they are represented symbolically by the cross to signify the price for redemption, the anchor to signify we must not only be grounded in Faith but trust in God with unwavering Hope, and the heart for Charity for its beating sustains life both in this finite life and in the hereafter. And to reach the afterlife one can better achieve that goal through the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Ghost as is outlined in Step Eleven, Gifts and Fruits of Faith, Hope and Charity.

It has definitely been a decade of transition, as this editor dubs it - Transition to Tradition, our last opportunity before God really lowers the boom. Looking back, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see the deterioration in society as the ranks of the good, decent ones striving for holiness grow smaller and the enemy flanks are massing larger and larger, more threatening than ever. With every day we inch closer to the apocalypse foretold in the book of the same name, contrary to Protestant and conciliar concerns that it was always called "Revelation." Would St. John the Evangelist be surprised, and for that matter the holy Doctor of the Church who translated it and several of the holy hierarchs who ratified the Scriptures at various major councils of the Church, most recently at the dogmatic Council of Trent. Many closet conciliarists reading this may not be familiar with that council since the robber barons have sought to eliminate any mention of Trent in the same manner as the U.S. Government is doing everything it can to wipe out any mention of God. For both these offenses there are consequences, grave ones and we are beginning to see now that both anti-Catholic campaigns by the counterfeit church of conciliarism and the United States Congress and its cohorts in the Obama administration both in Washington and Chicago are getting more desperate as each day passes. Those not grounded in grace had best get right with God before it is too late. Call it "gloom and doom" if you want, but that doom can be eternal and that would cause anyone gloom. Can you say fire and brimstone? To remind you, we will be bringing you throughout this year "Diadems of the Decade" featuring an article from each month of each of the past ten years. We're not saying these are the "Best" of the decade for how do you choose which ones are the best? Yet, they are gems that we want to share for we're sure you will treasure them and realize, like fine jewels, they are still as valuable today especially when investing in souls. For this edition, we present a diadem for each August from 2000 through August 2009. |

They pledge allegiance to the flag of prosperity and perdition through the dagger of deceit. It is the same demonic dagger that has ripped over 50 million unborns from the womb! Their platform is a bill of goods that is bad, really, really bad for souls everywhere!
This column ran ten years ago in which Dr. Frank Joseph, one of our first contributing writers, saw the handwriting - or should we say swastika - on the wall, for we can see ten years later how similar the Democratic party is to the Third Reich with their own fuhrer in resident Barack Hussein Soetero Obama and how their tactics have furthered a holocaust far worse than what happened to the Jews in the death camps. There over six million were murdered. Compare that with the figure of over fifty million innocents senselessly slaughtered in the womb in a place that should be the safest in the world. Frank didn't mince words in describing the modus operandi of the Democratic Party in trying to sell a platform to a gullible nation. It is a bill of goods that is bad, really, really bad as in sinful with a capital "S"...as in abortion with the scarlet letter "A." He asked how was this method of manslaughter any different than Hitler's edict to eliminate those who didn't measure up to his concept of what society should be.
The Democratic Party has learned well from Hitler .
A True Church would have truly cared about the welfare of souls and have reeled in the Weakest link before the damage was done by never allowing a criminal pervert to be ordained. But those who did allow it weren't the True Church, were they?
Nine years ago, Marian Therese Horvat, Ph.D. weighed in on the sad controversy in Milwaukee where the progressive Benedictine prelate 'Archbishop' Rembert Weakland, O.S.B. balked at Modern Rome's direct order to cease and desist from removing the main altar from the old cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist in downtown Milwaukee. Of course in retrospect we all realize who Weakland really was and the fact that there has been no authority in Rome since Vatican II. Weakland's resistance was a sure sign that he had no intention of heeding anything but his own perverted lifestyle, the flocked he fleeced be damned. Another problem is that 40 years after Vatican II Modern Rome, in effect, did not in 2001, nor today in 2010, have adequate criteria for church building and renovations. The great conundrum here is that the Modernist Rome was stepping in to support violation of canonical norms in respect to the desacralization of St. John the Evangelist, but did nothing about the Los Angeles atrocity they still try to pass off as a cathedral, which defies all canonical criteria. But then what don't they defy in respect to God and His holy Church since the death of Pope Pius XII? We share with you Marian's article
The Weakest Link of Obedience
The only difference between the terrorist disaster of the Twin Towers and how the smoke of satan seaped in to destroy everthing in its path is that to the world 9-11 was very visible, whereas Vatican II was invisible yet more deadly, far, far more deadly to souls.
This column ran eight years ago and was one of the first in addressing the shock editor Michael Cain had faced in realizing what the real problem was and why there had been no fruits in the Church since the death of Pope Pius XII. In delving deeper over the early months of 2002, he pointed out that it was all about security since September 11, 2001. But how secure have souls been for the past forty years? After months of research, he laid out the conspiracy perpetrated by the Revolution within the Church in the 20th Century and the sad fact that most Catholics have been playing right into the hands of the Modernists in the 21st Century. While our attention had been diverted by the tragedy of 9-11, we failed miserably to see, due to the smoke and mirrors erected so cleverly, the far, far worse holocaust - the Bargain of Baal - that has claimed millions of souls over the last four, now five decades.
Well before 9-11, there was 10-11!
No man can serve two masters. There can be no contrary truth to the truth.
It was eight years ago when Bishop Richard Williamson, in his next to last letter before he was transferred to the SSPX's Seminary in South America from St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, Minnesota where he had been for 20 years, reminded all that no matter the posture modern Rome might take, they would still be liberal. In honor of the centennial celebration of Pope St. Pius X, he shared an example of the holy Pontiff's reaction to liberalism from one of his own Cardinals; the very same red-robed one who not only badmouthed Pius X immediately after his death, but was beatified - yes, you heard us right - beatified by John Paul II. Horror of horrors! Bishop Williamson shared the details passed on by the very reliable Msgr. Benigni as well as the Bishop's own take on the undeniable parallel of Communism which is liberalism, progressivism, socialism, call it whatever you like, it's not in harmony with God's Laws or holy Will. The bishop explained in
Liberalism is a Killer
Ten reasons why spiritual leaders do not lead when push comes to shove because they're intimidated by the politically correct canard. The question is: Will we choose to follow Christ or the Beasts?
Seven years ago we received permission from syndicated columnist Doug Giles, author of 'Ruling in Babylon' and owner of Clashradio.com. We asked all back then to it to not just pastors, priests and ministers but those who are most responsible: the prelates - bishops who were entrusted with the spiritual welfare of souls. We should have known even then that these impostors were all wolves in sheeps' clothing as has been proved over the years as the wool is coming off to show the bare truth. Doug laid out ten reasons why those so-called 'shepherds' have been so timid and unvigilant. He pointed out why they have not led their flocks in ways Our Lord wishes, but have kowtowed to the politically correct creed to placate man and political parties. Doug unabashedly sent a wake-up call for them to remember why they were called in the first place as he explained so candidly in his column Pastors, Priests and Politics
Few movements in the annals of history have caused the eclipse of morality as sodomy, which Washington D.C. is fast embracing with legislature that will lead to its ultimate ruin - for God will not be mocked.
Back in 2005, Gabriel Garnica ran a multi-series dubbed "Incorrigible Dirigibles" and in part three he offered a possible dark glimpse of the future - very dark for we are fast approaching the Eclipse of Morality thanks to sodomy. Oh, sadly, how right he was. While one might think he was being facetious in his words, considering what has happened over the last five years and since then even, it truly gives one pause to fear - can it happen? Unfortunately the answer is yes. If you break down the word 'mite' in sodomite, one realizes a mite is a very small or minute arachnid or creature which often infests. How appropriate for the militant homosexual lobbyists take a magnifying glass to their numbers and distort reality by posing that they are growing into a majority, and indeed they may eventually do just that by infesting all aspects of life from the courts to the chambers to the media channels to the chanceries to the curia. This aberration against God and His Natural Law has got to stop, but will it before more souls are infected? Gabriel wondered as he presented the anticipated rites of New Sodom in Sodo-Might Rites are not Rights
A Call for all Traditionalists look at the bigger picture and unite in things essential.
Too many times Traditionalists can get too self-righteous and therefore a piece like Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. wrote four years ago was a necessary reminder of the rut we can all get in and why the petty bickering serves no one except satan and his minions. In order to break the chains we all need to pray for the grace of recognizing our fellow Traditionalists for what they truly strive to be and live: Catholics. Fr. Trinchard pointed out the fruitlessness of bickering about the little things while the main issue Traditionalists are in agreement with - the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass - is undermined further by the conciliar church as countless 'Catholics' continue to applaud and follow the conciliar emperor, not realizing he has no clothes. In fact, considering the fruits as Christ said in St. Matthew 7: 15-21, one would surely say, this "emperor" is "fruitless" as well. This very word is ideal for describing the modernist church. What also is fruitless is for Traditionalists to continue to argue uncharitably over the little things. Father emphasized that we all need to look at the bigger picture and unite in things essential as he explained in Traditionalists Give Traditionalists a Bad Name
Accept no substitutes but the authentic Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Accept no less than your promise to participate and to pray the holy Rosary, do penance and offer it as a glorious bouquet in reparation for the offenses against Mary's Immaculate Heart.
Three years ago Cyndi Cain, still recuperating from two major operations, returned to urge readers not be stained by caving to the pressures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and their Motu madness that has caused our Lady to weep and to ask why have we forgotten what her divine Son died for, why He instituted His Church upon the Rock of Peter? Why have we allowed ourselves to be deceived by the glitter of convenience and the lure of peace on man's terms? It can only be accomplished when her Immaculate Heart triumphs, and that can only be accomplished through our fiat to follow her beloved Son on the narrow path in the catacombs of His true Church. Accept no substitutes but the authentic Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Accept no less than your promise to participate and to pray the holy Rosary, do penance and offer it as a glorious bouquet in reparation for the offenses against her Immaculate Heart. That is how we can stand firm and hold the traditions passed down. We must daily surrender our hearts to God, but never can we surrender our faith! Cyndi sent out her heartfelt plea to stand firm to the Faith and stand behind those apostolates which seek to preserve the True, unadulterated Faith in her final Symphony of Suffering column
"Stand firm; and hold the traditions..." Surrender Not!
To Consider that a member of the Jewish Sanhedrin could be a saint might, on the surface, sound more like more of Ratzinger's heretical ecumenism, but in fact, there are three generations of loyal High Priests who were working in concert with the Lord, and the last in that lineage could very well be a saint.
With the 2000 year anniversary of the Apostle Saint Paul's birth in Tarsus two years ago, Scott Montgomery presented a fascinating, factual account of the early life of the Apostle of the Gentiles and how God all along had prepared him through Jewish Law with a very special teacher of the lineage of the good Rabbis before Christ's public life in order for St. Paul to carry out the mission he would eventually accomplish after his "awakening" on the road to Damascus. While it is true that the Apostle of the Gentiles was graced by visions of Christ Himself and was greatly inspired by the Holy Ghost, Paul's own knowledge and human inspiration came from the one God had prepared for him for his special mission under the master Rabban Gamaliel, son of Simeon and grandson of the faithful Hillel. Many times we lump the Pharisees into one loathsome list, but there were exceptions which are shown here in the lineage of Hillel. Scott shared this, as well as a short tie-in with the finding of the Relics of St. Stephen in addition to an excellent extract, giving credence to St. Paul being the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, by Fr. Fernand Prat, S.J. whom Pope Saint Pius X had personally appointed as one of the forty consultors to the Pontifical Biblical Commission in 1903. Scott shared his scholastic essay, Saint of the Sanhedrin
If we're really striving for holiness it's time to shut up and listen by really using that God-given mass of potential between our ears. It's the way saints are made.
One year ago Griff Ruby set aside his polemics on scholastic dishonesty and his series on sedevacantism to ask readers to use the month of the Immaculate Heart to focus on improving their meditation. With the overload of information inundating us these days from every medium that most portends doom and gloom, a retreat into a contemplative zone can do wonders for one's soul and psyche. During these dog days of summer, why not try relaxing our minds by turning inward through meditation to converse with truly man's best friend ever: God. He asked us to meditate not in the sense of eastern mysticism, but in the manner the Church asks us to pray, through contemplative communication with Him by blotting out worldly things. We, who are finite, talk to Him so much, and yet we don't seem to take the time to hear what the Infinite has to say to us. How can we steer souls, beginning with our own, if we don't listen to the Instructor, the Supreme Admiral to guide us over the rough and turbulent sea of life? Open your ears and heart, and the mind will focus on things not of this earth, but of what God wants. Try it, you'll like. Griff laid out the simple formula in his article On Meditation
Cyndi Cain returns after a long hiatus away from the lessons to impart some poignant thoughts. Lost today is the honest work ethic that enabled the apostles and succeeding missionaries to persevere in saving souls. No longer is hard work the desired goal; no longer are the rewards of sweat and tears on our hands and knees paying off because the payoff today is to make things as easy as possible. Lazy is the word and laziness breeds apathy and apathy breeds lukewarmness, and lukewarmness prompts the Lord to regurgitate those who embrace such out of His mouth. Let us take a cue from the trendsetter for hardwork in our Lord's time - St. Martha - and learn from her example in serving others while at the same time realizing those others must return the favors by participating in God's plans and mission to save souls. They can do so by contributing either their time, talents or treasures. To skimp on these will not bode well when God tabulates the final tallies. We have the Holy Ghost to guide us. Why aren't we tuning in to the greatest technology available: listening and speaking to God!?! Cyndi reminds us that There is Work to be Done
John Gregory takes a break from polemics to provide an inspiring piece on Saint Anne in a similar style to his meditations on the Mysteries of the holy Rosary. There is much to contemplate on the intricate and intimate role good Saint Anne played in bringing forth the Immaculate Conception. He calls on the words of His Holiness Pope Pius XI in his encyclical Casti Conubii and the insight of the noted liturgian and Benedictine abbot Dom Prosper Gueranger in illustrating that through the cooperation with God and her holy husband Saint Joachim, she nourished the only person ever conceived without sin for a purpose she did not know except for her love of God and the child she carried. Staying true to her mission she dedicated and raised the young child Mary to prepare her for the greatest story ever told: the Redemption of mankind. John provides the contemplation in The Mother of the Mother of God
Per Christ's promise, He sent His Spirit to be with us always until the consummation of the world as He asserts in St. Matthew 28: 20. There may have been a few anxious moments among the apostles over those ten days while they cowered in the cenacle room after our Lord's Ascension. He was gone, what now? They found out, oh, did they on Pentecost Sunday and the rest is history for the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, He Who proceeds from the Father and the Son has been busy ever since as the Sanctifier in bestowing both Sanctifying and Actual Grace on those willing to accept it as heirs to Heaven. The Holy Ghost is indeed the Source of the life of the Church. With that in mind, we can clearly see God does not consider the conciliar church His Church or He would not have withdrawn His protection and graces as we can see Step Ten: The Sanctifier and Grace.
Griff Ruby returns after a few months hiatus with installment nine of his series refuting a SSPX anti-sedevacantist book. For several decades now, traditional priests and bishops, who have reached the inevitable conclusion that the Chair of Peter has been vacant, have had to be on the defense against attacks from all corners. Isn't it about time they went on the offense for the sake of souls? In effect, the traditional bishops, who have remained loyal to the infrangible teachings of the Church and have not given one iota of concessions to the conciliar church, have themselves to blame for allowing the chair to remain empty as long as it has. That might seem like a rash statement, but when you consider that they are legally auxiliary bishops of the Eternal Diocese of Rome you realize they therefore have every right to call for a conclave of those eligible to elect a true Pope. While they may reply that they are waiting for a miracle from Heaven to restore the Primacy of Peter, perhaps they do not realize that God just might want them to help effect that by doing what they, who have not apostasized nor subscribed to the false religion of Novus Ordoism, are rightfully expected to do as true Successors of the Apostles: Perpetuate the Faith and restore Catholic Order to the disorder created by the Robber Barons of Vatican II by electing a true Pope to teach, govern and sanctify Catholics for the salvation of all. That is Griff's summation in

John Gregory provides undeniable proof of the veracity of the sedevacantist position. The title of this article would seem to be a no-brainer. Of course trees exist you say. But if that is so obvious, then why is it not as obvious as to whom, over the last five decades, have been the ones responsible for preaching error, for allowing the foxes and wolves in sheeps' clothing to "wretchedly ensnare the souls of the simple, and drag with them into perdition, destruction and damnation countless peoples committed to their care and rule, either in spiritual or in temporal matters"? Those words are from a previous reliable true Pope who foresaw the dangers we face today and sought to do all he could so that when these antipopes would surface we would recognize them. Sadly, too many are like the sleeping dog today. They say let sleeping dogs lay, don't disturb them. That has to come from satan himself because Pope Paul IV warned all "so as to arrest the foxes who are occupying themselves in the destruction of the vineyard of the Lord and to keep the wolves from the sheepfolds, lest We seem to be dumb watchdogs that cannot bark and lest We perish with the wicked husbandman and be compared with the hireling." What good is a mute watchdog? What's needed is an axe to fell the bad trees as John exposes the rot in the forest of false popes in his essay Do Trees Exist?
