Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus Shears and Tears of a Lamb ![]() We are delighted to welcome back Catharine Lamb after a lengthy hiatus. She has been sitting back, viewing all that has happened over the past year from her perch in her own control tower and, through the eyes of grace, can see not only the total lack of sanctity in the flight plan laid out by the conciliar church and its leaders, but warns those booked on the flight to ruin to cancel their flight plans right now and book a sure flight on Tradition Airways. Oh, it will be a rocky ride, no frills, no accumulated mileage points on earth, but the rewards are infinite and it is the only sure way to reach the desired destination of eternal life. She scopes out the itinerary every authentic Catholic must follow if they want to be assured safe passage and know that is the only way to arrive at the heavenly terminal where Peter is ready to welcome weary, but faithful travelers with the words, "well done, good and faithful servant." Catharine points out how the conciliar church, by cutting corners everywhere they could, have jeopardized the everlasting safety of countless millions of souls. Would you really fly with such an airline? Not if you value your eternal salvation and mean the words you say in the Act of Love: "I love my neighbor as myself for love of Thee." She explains in her column Tradition: Real and Ready Symphony of Suffering On the feast of the Chair of Peter, Cyndi Cain emphasizes the lesson of the Epiphany and how Holy Mother Church in her wisdom illustrates the importance of the feast near the beginning of the liturgical year, a necessity on the quest for the salvation. Throughout the centuries the tradition of this feast has perfectly sequed from Christmastide to preparation for the life and lesson of our Lord. Just as our Lord was tempted at the outset of His public life, so also are we who strive to be faithful today. Just as Christ prepared for 30 years for three years of public life, we must not be impatient to accomplish so much so soon. We should be willing to learn and know our Faith, to cherish it for what it is and share it freely. Because of Free Will we can choose between Peril or the Pearl of Great Price - a Priceless Treasure. Only a dolt or fool would choose the former. Yet there are so many who do not recognize the priceless treasure they have in their Faith and will cast these pearls to swine by accepting the horrific, sacrilegious Novus Ordo while ignoring, even demeaning the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven; that which best honors the Holy Trinity: the infrangible Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Cyndi explains in her column The Pearl of Priceless Treasure
Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica continues his week of articles on abortion to commiserate "Woe is Roe Week" with an article in which he exposes the agenda of those who defend abortion as using the tactics the Nazis and Terrorists such as Al Qaeda use. Murderers all have the same modus operandi and they all march to one man's orders: satan. Gabriel lays out the recipe most often used by those enemies of God who have sold their souls to the devil to do his bidding in murdering Almighty's innocent ones. They don't care how they do it and they'll rationalize it in every way they can, but the bottom line these chefs will have hell to pay when God exacts the bill at the end of the day. Gabriel explains in his column

On the BattleLine ![]() Released on Tradition In Action near the 15th year anniversary when the United States first went into Iraq, Atila Sinke Guimarães presents some sobering thoughts that should stop the anti-war activists in their tracks. As the liberals clamor about the number of American troop casualties in Iraq over the past three years, the numbers actually pale in comparison to the number of urban casualties just in three of the largest U.S. cities New York, LA, and Chicago. Even one casualty of war is too much, but when you realize that more have died of homicide in those three cities than those fallen soldiers in Iraq, it's time to put things in persepective, especially now, when the Al Qaeda is rumbling once again, spurred on by new threats from Osama bin Laden, and the radical left are doing all they can to undermine the U.S. effort for peace. This is no time to retreat with our tails between our legs. Rather it is the time to defend humanity and be the beacon of freedom the United States has always been. The biggest problem is the ban on proselytism. All those muslims and no one can tell them the truth of Jesus Christ. That is the true tragedy of the war in Iraq. Atila explains in his bird's eye view of the news column War and Peace in Perspective ![]()
Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus Catholic PewPOINT ![]() The 40th Super Bowl and all the useless commerce accompanying it are yesterday's news, but still the frogs continue to wallow on the stove, allowing the conciliar chefs to turn up the heat. What us worry? Not when we continue to be dulled into bobbing 'yes' toads to whatever Modern Rome wants. Editor Michael Cain sounds the siren to all on the hotstove. If you don't take action soon, it's going to be too late. He equates the mediocrity of the game and commercials to our acceptance of anything but excellence, including compromising our doctrines to please man. Who would have thought the Society of St. Pius X would ever have even considered such a thought? But that is what more and more we fear as confirmation continues to surface as to Benedict XVI's invite to the SSPX: "Come into the parlor" said the spider to the fly. It does not bode well for the traditional movement but it is exactly what Modern Rome has in mind: Divide and conquer. They will too if the frogs who should know better don't start realizing that it's getting too hot for anyone to even consider staying in the conciliar kitchen for soon, very soon, the fahrenheit will reach

The STRAIGHT STUFF ![]() Griff Ruby focuses on the one target that remains fair game to anyone who wants to take potshots with whatever weapons they have, no holds barred. It is all about adhering to authority; not authority formed by man, but that founded and elevated by God. Down through the ages, the One Authority of the Church Jesus Christ established has stood alone as the one most persecuted. This Authority, suffering the slings and arrows from those who think man has a better idea, has remained steadfast despite its attackers who have continued to turn a blind eye to the eyes of Faith by aiming at the bullseye of Truth. In their heart, the apostate archers know they're wrong, but still they fire away at True Catholicism. Yes, the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church remains the only target that is fair game to assault. Why is it that the only ones who respect this Authority, namely the Traditional Bishops, are most cautious in overstepping their boundaries? The Answer: Total respect and awe for what Christ has established. The SSPX bishops would do well to remember that before letting down their guard or giving away the store. Griff explains in his column on

Symphony of Suffering ![]() In preparation for the Time of Septuagesima this weekend, Cyndi Cain presents a poignant piece, short and sweet but to the point. She shares with all a recent letter received from a solitary, sincere prisoner and his heartfelt sacrifice. His words should shake all of us to take seriously Christ's charge to feed His sheep and be good stewards of His wilting vineyard. So many of us take for granted that others are providing the financial assistance to help non-profit traditional apostolates such as SANCTUS and The Daily Catholic, and assuming such, many take the free ride, logging on often with nary a thought of the expense it takes to put out a publication of this caliber. The fact that a destitute inmate is willing to give his entire monthly stipend that others can hear the truth should shame every reader to examine their conscience and ask themselves if they are doing enough to help, not only this apostolate, but their local traditional priest, traditional community and traditional publications/sources which focus on the unmitigated Catholic Truth and stand as uncompromising bright beacons of hope that the True Faith will be preserved and more souls saved in a swirling secular sea that has so twisted the truth. Cyndi puts it so succinctly in her letter about a letter "Lord, Remember me...". "Qui legit, intelligat" ![]() In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Quinquagesima Sunday, he notes how man today refuses to put away the things of a child and become men of Faith. They fail to anticipate seeing God face to face and remain behind their comfort zone of the dark glass where they can hide their lukewarmness and wonton nature to do what they want. This has given, as Father points out, the rise of paganism as the "fastest growing religion in the United States." Talk about a scary scenario, no wonder they are doing all they can to eliminate Christ and Christian symbols from public places and legislate anti-Catholic hate crimes that will enable the devil to do what he likes. One could despair were it not for the charity of God and the charity we need to express to others in caring about the spiritual welfare of their souls. God has given us a most powerful archangel, His right hand man St. Michael to defend us in our battle here on earth against the wickedness and snares of the devil. He shares the prophetic poem of G. K. Chesterton to encourage us that the Word can never be broken, never be conquered for God will win out. When the dawn breaks will we be with satan and the vanquished or on the victorious side with Saint Michael and God's army of angels and saints? Father helps us answer that in his sermon.

Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus Gabriel's Clarion ![]() Gabriel Garnica continues his series on Virtue and Vice and today tackles the vice part with the Seven Deadly or Capital Sins, which are the treads on the slippery slope that may look like an inviting rainbow to those blinded to God's will. Because of that, as Gabriel points out, they grab for the colorful, glitz and fleeting fame and temporal treasures that soon dissipate just as every rainbow dissolves into nothingness. Without the safety net of the Sacrament of Penance on the tri-legs of prayer, fasting and almsgiving - the Lenten virtues, and all the other corresponding virtues to combat these very deadly sins, one can plunge quickly into the bottomless pit, or stubbornly grabbing for the rims of the rainbow, find themselves helplessly suffocating in the serpent's crushing coils. Gabriel explains in Part Four:
The Rainbow of Perdition
Faithful to Tradition ![]() John Gregory addresses those who try to rationalize the credibility of the modernist conciliar popes by pointing out inherent heresy that has, for some reason or another, slipped under the radar of both intellectuals and the common man, much to their own spiritual detriment. What is it with the Modernists of Vatican II that they want to cling to the Old Testament and deny Christ's teachings and what His holy Church believes? No matter what you want to call them, no matter that they occupy our Catholic edifices, wear Catholic garments, or are considered by the world as Catholic spokesmen from Rome to Rio de Janeiro to the Rhine and back, one thing is manifestly clear: They are not Catholic!!! John Gregory documents that through a few "experts" in the matter: The Evangelists, St. Paul, and the Source of Truth - Jesus Christ Himself. John lays it out in his column
The Old Covenant and New Popes
"Qui legit, intelligat" ![]() In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Second Sunday of Lent, he documents the obvious heresy of Benedict XVI whose history of heresy dates back over 40 years. Father makes the comparison today of the beautiful, majestic cloud created by the heavenly Father in today's Gospel of the Transfiguration to the murky, thick and blurred fog that shrouds the truth from so many including those who point out the very heresies of the conciliar 'popes' and 'cardinals' and 'bishops' but somehow there remains a fog which obscures the undeniable truths of Pope Paul IV's official statement of Holy Mother Church as to how every loyal Catholic must consider the authority of those in heresy or those who have deviated from the Faith. Father shows how Benedict continues to indict himself with his constant heresy of modernism, humanism, relativism and ecumenism, not to mention universal salvation and still stubbornly a portion of the traditional community, which Father calls neo-traditionalists, have persisted in still recognizing such a heretic as a valid successor of Peter. If so, then Christ, St. Peter, Leo the Great, Gregory the Great, Boniface VIII, the Council of Florence, Paul IV, the Council of Trent, St. Pius V, Pius IX, Leo XIII, St. Pius X, Pius XI, and Pius XII were wrong. Which do you accept? That is Father's point in his poignant sermon that, like the Transfiguration, should be a revelation to all.

Catholic PewPOINT ![]() Editor Michael Cain tackles St. Patrick's Day from a different perspective in setting aside the green beer and corn-beef and cabbage; after all, it's Lent and Friday no less. On this day of the wearin' o' the green, Cain is seeing red, for too many buffoons harm this saint's good name and purpose. March 17 annually brings out the best and worst of mankind. Those few who are truly Irish in heart and soul, who truly realize what the shamrock represents, who truly understand the infrangible truths of the Faith, are embarrassed by the sad fact that this glorious day has been given over to driveling druids as a license for debauchery and drunkenness. He points out the ironies and secularization of this feast like so many others which the world, the flesh and the devil have commandeered to suit mammon. By gorrah, Cain and Traditional Catholics are mad, and they didn't need whiskey or green beer to rile them up, just the disrespect shown to God that has them ready to swing the shillelaghs and drive the vipers out in much the same manner as a certain bishop did a millennium and a half ago. Because of the availability of the web, this is now possible as Cain explains in his editorial

"Fiat Voluntas Dei" Faithful to Tradition ![]() John Gregory continues his comprehensive meditation on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary today. Scourged, berated, whipped, crowned with thorns, mocked, and blasphemed, Christ, the Lamb of God, has accepted the heavy wood. The time continuum between the Praetorium where the Jews screeched 'Crucify Him!', and the moment He arrived at the summit of Calvary could well have taken thirty minutes to an hour and a half. In this time, we have in the Via Crucis, several lessons we can garner from this interval, including His reunion with His Sorrowful Mother, the aid of Simon of Cyrene, the gentle charity of Veronica, the weeping of the women of Jerusalem, and three cruel falls along the way; each more crushing and exhausting. Despite all this, the question arises: do we have the spiritual stamina to keep up with Him? John shares his thoughts and Scriptural passages in meditating on the Fourth Sorrowful Mystery during this Passiontide.

Echoes of True Catholicism ![]() On this Feast of the Seven Dolors, we present an eye-opening piece by
Dr. Marian Therese Horvat filed two days ago on Tradition in Action which brings into vivid question the whole Fatima facade that has been perpetrated on the public by the conciliar church and must cause the Blessed Mother so much more sorrow. What Marian reveals that there could very well have been two Sister Lucys and questions should resound on what happened to the original Sister Lucy. It brings to mind her own words: "diabolical disorientation"; and one can sense the devil in the data Marian provides as well as pictures which should leave plenty, plenty of doubt if that was really the real Sister Lucia Santos who passed away last year. The fact that we have been desensitized to think the Sr. Lucia photographed for the public is really the same person, has only added to the scheme, but Marian's deductions, photographs, and questions should raise many more questions just as we wrote on these pages last year in Only Heaven Knows. So also only Heaven knows, but hopefully, because the lies from the modern Vatican do not add up, Marian's revelations and very logical conclusions should prompt some kind of investigation. Yet, considering the ones doing the investigating most probably will be the very foxes that invaded the henhouse, don't look for much honesty from modern Rome. After all, we haven't seen it in well over 40 years. Despite carrots that recently bear the facade of traditionalism, it's only orange coloring and the raw truth is that the rest of the carrot is rotten. The facts are that the progressivists have no intention of giving up their lair. But Marian's article should definitely rustle their fur as you'll see in her column at Tradition In Action: Two Sister Lucys of Fatima?
Gabriel's Clarion ![]() Gabriel Garnica tackles the whole issue of immigration and the latest Pied-Piper of Perdition who comes cloaked in red and roars out from LA with political polemics that have lost the salt of salvation and care only for temporal rewards. For him, who has sold out to mammon, we can only pray; for the immigrants he should be speaking out for are the defenseless, innocent unborn who conciliar potentate Roger Mahony cannot be bothered with. Neither can he be concerned for the spiritual welfare of the faithful of Southern California who have been so betrayed by this comforter of sodomites, perverts, powerful Democrats, and Hollywood honchos. By his actions and words, it is no doubt he is a definite enemy of Tradition; ergo an adversary to Christ and His Church. Gabriel explains in his column

The VerbumQUO Today, Tuesday in Holy Week, editor Michael Cain has decided to emphasize what the Gospel Passion Reading of Mark covers and what is front and center the primary means of worship and grace-giving for every Catholic: the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, focusing today's VerbumQUO on the very word sacrificium "sacrifice" actually taken from the Ordinary of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and said by the priest, acting as the alter Christus, seven times during the Holy Mass, replicating the number of times our Lord spoke from the Cross. The emphasis on sacrifice and the spotless Victim, pure Victim, holy Victim, spotless Victim were installed by the great Pontiff - whose feast day is today - St. Leo the Great, though not celebrated because of Holy Week superseding normal feasts this most solemn of weeks. Cain explains in

The STRAIGHT STUFF Making Sense of sensus Catholicus ![]() Father James F. Wathen presents a reflection this week on how Christ provided in His words recorded in the Gospel of Saint John 14, what one might call, a crash-course for His Apostles in refreshing them on His divinity and how He would be with them always before He would leave them and ascend into Heaven and then send His Spirit - the Holy Ghost - on Pentecost. Our Lord sought to remind His Apostles on the key points He had taught to them and His followers during that time of His public ministry before most had abandoned Him at the time of his trial and crucifixion except for John himself, His Blessed Mother and Mary Magdalene. Now those who had fled from the cross believe, but will they believe by faith or feeling. If by faith, then what they impart to others will have great fruits; if by feeling, they will flee at the slightest hint of persecution. Christ prepared well these men of faith. Father, who celebrated yesterday his 48th anniversary as a validly ordained priest, presents his insight and reflections in Christ refreshes the Apostles
The VerbumQUO Editor Michael Cain presents a daily VerbumQUO in Latin in hopes that, in choosing the Latin word with its meaning and etimology, more will be attuned to hearing Latin read at the altar and better comprehend the beauty of the Mother tongue. The VerbumQUO for today on the Feast of the holy and worthy Pope Saint Pius V is "ædificábo" which is "I will build" for the Latin future first conjugation singular of ædificáre. This verb fits perfectly with Pope St. Pius V for he, of all Popes, built what Christ had established 1533 years earlier by codifying the infallible dogmatic decrees of the Council of Trent and set in stone "in perpetuity" the continual Sacrifice with the Latin Mass, often called Tridentine Mass from the time of Trent, but known universally today as the Traditional Latin Mass with his infallible Papal Bull Quo Primum, assuring the bread and wine would be properly confected through his decree De defectibus Cain explains in

Gabriel's Clarion ![]() Gabriel Garnica illustrates what code The Da Vinci Code has really broken and that is the code of decency, for the blasphemy that spews from this cinematic sewage must be identified for the rot it is to protect the clueless lukewarm idiots who will flock to the complexes to see this vile blasphemy because everyone else is going. Oh, what blind sheep. Gabriel warns not to expect any protection or guidance from the shepherds because they've already sold out. Gabriel points out how with The Da Vinci Code release this Friday, the evil one returns to the scene of the crime, ever tempting with more vile blasphemy and just as he had a gullible Adam and Eve, so also he has a countless covey of vulnerable idiots to once again spin his tale of sin and deceit with the vile, vicious and overtly blasphemous The Da Vinci Code in which he seeks to poison so many more souls who are only too willing to self-destruct. It is the final all-out assault satan has promised and we need to be ready to fight and to stand for Christ. If we don't, then we will have broken our code and vow to Him as Gabriel explains in his column Decline, Da Vinci, and the real Code that has been broken!
Christ or chaos ![]() Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey illustrates in his most recent article how society has rejected the safeguards set in place by previous Popes and the Legion of Decency in the earlier part of the 20th century and spurned the words of His Holiness Pope Pius XI. With all the brouhaha over The Da Vinci Code, Tom points out that there is a far worse scandal and blasphemy that has gone on for nigh over 40 years and it is the conciliar church. Tom asks "Who is going to start to organize Rosaries of Reparation in front of chancery offices and schools and universities and colleges and seminaries, to say nothing of in Piazza San Pietro itself in the State of Vatican City? The Roncalli Code and the Montini Code and the Wojtyla Code and the Ratzinger Code have proved to be far more injurious to the good of souls than anything conjured up by the forces of popular culture." The Straight Stuff Miters that Matter ![]() With this week being within the Octave of Pentecost we want to bring you a pastoral letter from His Excellency Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI, who wrote this twelve years ago for Pentecost, but it is as pertinent in 2006 as it was in 1994 or 36 A.D. for Catholic truth cannot change or ever be watered down or compromised, something Eternal Rome would never do, but modern Rome has been quick to do. The message and medium are endless and nothing ever changes in how the Sanctifier works within only One Church - the holy Catholic Church, the only One founded by Christ, and the only One which Jesus promised to send "His Spirit of Truth." The idea that the Perfect God would contradict Himself or later change His Mind and send the Holy Ghost to rebellious sects - including the conciliar church which, by its actions and decrees cannot possibly be Catholic - is pure modernist nonsense and His Excellency refutes such in his Pastoral Letter

Gabriel's Clarion ![]() Gabriel Garnica puts into perspective what tomorrow's date signifies for those who believe and trust in God and realize that the true Catholic Church provides the narrow, but sure way to overcome the beast, but the vast majority of the world have already given in to the beast - the very one who will demand its mark on every person as
Apocalypse foretells. Gabriel reminds us of two other dates and how one signaled one of America's greatest accomplishments on the beaches of Normandy, and the other sounded the clarion of satan's entrance into the mainstream of society 40 years ago tomorrow. The revolution of the sixties, combined with the revolution within the Church thanks to the smoke of satan from Vatican II on, have empowered the evil one and brought us to the brink of where the world is today on the eve of 6-6-06. Is the Antichrist near or is he already here and ready to be revealed? As Gabriel points out, time will tell, but prayer and reparation will tell more on how many souls will be saved. Regardless of what it signals, those who make light of the devil will have, as Gabriel writes, hell to pay. He explains in his column 6-6-06 Is More Than a Number or Date

In honor of two Traditional stalwart priests, editor Michael Cain pays tribute to the beloved Capuchin Father Carl Pulvermacher, whose Requiem High Mass and burial are slated for today in Dickinson, Texas with Bishop Richard Williamson coming all the way from Argentina to officiate. Five hours east in the Crescent City, Father Paul Trinchard will celebrate his 40th anniversary as a priest today in the loneliness of his own oratory chapel, exiled from saying Mass on this celebratory day in the church where his great uncle is interred - the priest who probably influenced Fr. Paul more than anyone else for it is the same priest who baptized Fr. Trinchard's own mother. But he has been denied this privilege and fervent life-long wish in direct disobedience to Pope St. Pius V's eternal celebret that a priest has the right and duty to say the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass, and only that approved rite. Who denied him? Who else but another of those cookie-cutter grand potentates who rule over the lodges of each diocese. In this case the grinch is New Orleans' Alfred Hughes, the little Napoleon of the south. Short of storming the portal of St. Mary's Assumption, Father Paul will quietly say his Holy Mass today as he has done each day since the early 90's when he realized that to obey the conciliarists was to disobey God. Cain shares the story of these two priests and urges all to stay the course, to put away the barbs and bickering, recognize the who the real enemy is, and unite for the good of restoring Holy Mother Church for the Mystical Bride remains in eclipse due to the devastation wrought by Vatican II. Cain explains in his

"Qui legit, intelligat" ![]()
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday After Pentecost, he cites the great joy with which Heaven rejoices when one of the lost sheep are reunited to the Father in grace as expressed in today's Gospel. Likewise, how Heaven must weep when the shepherds watching over the sheep not only lead the sheep astray but are complicit in putting wool over the fur of the wolves to deceive further, leaving the faithful to fend with the ravenous ones intent on destroying the flock. Such a scenario has certainly happened since John XXIII announced his aggiornamento and the sheep have scattered just as foretold in approved Marian Apparitions such as Quito, La Salette and Fatima. And it is the very words of our Lady that are being skewered today by altering her heavenly messages to accommodate the world, the flesh and the devil. As more questions arise and photo evidence bears out, someone somewhere is going to have to launch a CSI-type investigation into the Vatican-enforced shroud of secrecy concerning Sister Lucia dos Santos who, from the photos, either underwent a tremendous plastic surgery physical makeover of both body and mind, or there was an imposter who replaced her and toned down her urgent message from the Mother of God and reshaped them to fit the modernist mindset. Considering the lies that have poured out of modern Rome over the past 40 years and now a new book from supposedly Sr. Lucia that contradicts Catholic doctrine and patronizes the Jews - in effect calling Christ a liar - the very wolves the Blessed Virgin was warning against have been firmly ensconced and the wreckovation and devastation of souls is in full force. Of course the apostates don't want anything known about the Great Apostasy. It is all part of, as Father explains in his sermon,

"Qui legit, intelligat" Gabriel's Clarion ![]() ![]() ![]() Gabriel Garnica returns with a theme based on the second-hand smoke theory. While that may or may not remain a theory, another second-hand smoke is no theory and that is the second-hand smoke of satan that manifests itself in something called "Second-hand Catholicism" which takes away the absolute substance and replaces the infrangible truths of Catholicism with a saccharine semblance of 'Catholicism' that is totally foreign to all that was taught up to 1958. Especially over the last 40 years this devastating second-hand smoke has been wafting up, choking and infecting countless millions, not so much affecting lungs, but souls. The smoke of satan has slithered in and penetrated every aspect of the Church where the only way to not be contaminated is by donning the anti-contamination 'suits' of Traditional Catholicism and remaining in the state of Sanctifying Grace. Only in this way can one avoid the terrible, harmful and devastating effects of this sinister smoke unleashed at Vatican II. "Second-hand Catholicism" Is Dangerous to Your Eternal Salvation. The Straight Stuff ![]() Griff Ruby takes a break from his series The Way Back to the Mainstream to remind all not to lose heart. Griff points out that sooner or later there will be a mellowing within the Traditional Movement both because of the time factor and the continued exodus of those finally fed up with the abominations emanating from the conciliar church. In time and graces received, the ranks will swell and soon those "Johnny's-come-lately-to-Tradition" will be the "old-timers" of the movement. We can learn from our elders in the Movement and take encouragement from the enthusiasm of the youthful. The picture isn't as bleak as some may think even if - through eyes of our fallen human nature - the future might look hazy and dark thanks to the distortion wrought by the conciliar church, but, when we put our spiritual binoculars to the horizon, we know that the Restoration - the Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church - is not only possible, viable and plausible, but a veritable fact. Few can judge the distance in linear time, but we can see clearly that Christ will put things well in focus and we just need to keep our eye on the Prize for all that is not of Him will fade away and the Holy Sacrifice will be restored universally when the abomination of desolation is discarded once and for all. Until then, as Griff advises, be patient. If we remain in the state of grace we can afford to wait and work toward conversion one at a time for as Griff says, "conversion is gradual, repentance is abrupt." Let's pray for the conciliarists' abruptness to come sooner rather than later. He explains in his column View to the Long Term. ![]()

Treasures of Tradition ![]() On this feast of St. Peter in Chains, and in light of the Epistle and Gospel from this past Sunday, it is good to remember that we will all be held accountable for our stewardship and whether we have given in to the "mammon of iniquity." Too many times Traditionalists can get too self-righteous and therefore a piece like Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. has written is a necessary reminder of the rut we can all get in and why the petty bickering serves no one except satan and his minions. In order to break the chains we all need to pray for the grace of recognizing our fellow Traditionalists for what they truly strive to be and live: Catholics. Fr. Trinchard points out the fruitlessness of bickering about the little things while the main issue Traditionalists are in agreement with - the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass - is undermined further by the conciliar church as countless 'Catholics' continue to applaud and follow the conciliar emperor, not realizing he has no clothes. In fact, considering the fruits as Christ said in the holy Gospel for the Seventh Sunday After Pentecost from St. Matthew 7: 15-21, one would surely say, this "emperor" is "fruitless" as well. This very word is ideal for describing the modernist church. What also is fruitless is for Traditionalists to continue to argue uncharitably over the little things. Father emphasizes that we all need to look at the bigger picture and unite in things essential as he explains in his article Traditionalists Give Traditionalists a Bad Name. "Qui legit, intelligat" ![]()
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Eighth Sunday After Pentecost, he illustrates clearly how the conciliar church shackled itself and its followers to the world, the flesh and the devil by subscribing to the Masonic doctrine promoted by the satanic United Nations which abhors the Social Kingship of Christ. Regardless of this fact, thanks to the liberties of Vatican II, the conciliar popes have plodded on to ransack the True Church of so much and jeopardize countless souls. Father shows the heresy of such actions that contradict not only Holy Writ, but the wisdom of previous reliable Roman Pontiffs such as Pope Pius IX and Pope Leo XIII just to name a few. True to today's Gospel from St. Luke, these conciliarists have proven themselves unjust stewards for today's children of the evil one are wiser than those who should know better. Because of it, the Masonic-Protestant-Communist and Pagan manifestos have crept in and corrupted what was once holy. Therefore, in accord with last week's Gospel, these unfruitful branches and trees must be cut down and cast into the infernal fire. Father warns of the traps of mammon for they will entice and lure until you are trapped, then they will discard you for they are not of truth, but of lies, for they come from the father of lies - lucifer himself. True freedom is only possible with, for and of Christ, the Son of God, Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Only united to Him can we be heirs with Him. That means we must bear up persecution and avoid the pitfalls so that when the day of our particular judgment arrives we can be judged as faithful stewards as Father explains in his sermon.

Living in Tradition Traditional Thoughts ![]() In honor of the holy Pontiff Pope St. Pius X whose Double Feast we celebrate on September 3rd as a commemoration to the Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost this year - we highlight the only true Pope to be canonized since Pope Saint Pius V. We provide a detailed essay on his life and accomplishments for during his reign all was right within Holy Mother Church. It is true that outside the gates of Rome, the Modernists, Masons and Communists were plotting, but due to his strong pontificate they didn't dare show their heads, remaining in the shadows. One would have thought his strong decrees including the Oath Against Modernism and his encyclical on the dangers of Modernism Pascendi Dominici Gregis would have been enough to stave off what he referred to Modernism as the "Mother of all heresies," but then who would have thought Quo Primum would ever be tinkered with either. Nearly a century later we must remember the wisdom of this holy Pope and do all we can to restore all things in Christ - Instaurare in omnia Christo. That begins with each one of us doing our small part. His life helps inspire us as you'll see in The Pope of the Blessed Sacrament
The Straight Stuff ![]() ![]() The burning question has been posed by Griff Ruby that, through proper research and development, help determine the status of one who claims to be pope. With all the speculation running amok it remains similiar to the age-old question: Which came first? The chicken or the egg? The feathers are sure to fly whenever the question arises between sedevacantist and sedeplenist because there is no set formula or procedure for fully answering the unprecedented circumstances Catholics find themselves in today thanks to something no saint, holy Pontiff or Doctor of the Church ever envisioned: conciliarism. Griff proposes a procedure to help Traditional Catholics not end up with egg on their face or chicken out when syllogisms lead to the obvious in determining how we can define when, where, why, what, who, and how the current conciliar popes veered from the true Faith and into that void called conciliarism. Griff, standing by the code of unity in all things essential, freedom in discussing speculative theology which this essay covers, and charity in striving for the goal of what is best for the Mystical Body of Christ, intends to tweak the discussion as he develops the hypothesis of the process for determining, once and for all, what universally constitutes the decisive conclusion of deciphering between a true Pope and a false one. He applies some initial strategies, simply called The Procedure

"Qui legit, intelligat" ![]() In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sixteenth Sunday After Pentecost, he illustrates the fruits of the new world order and those who would seek to usher it in whether they be high potentates posing as pope or despots posing as madmen intent on bringing about the events of the Apocalypse. They speak of peace, but there is no peace because in stubbornly building the tower of pride - today's Tower of Babel - they have rejected the only Tower that can provide lasting peace - everlasting peace - Jesus Christ - for He is the King of all, and must be the King of all hearts. How sad, on this feast of Our Lady of Ransom, how the conciliar popes have ransomed so many souls to the devil by bowing to the UN and seeking finite favor rather than the Infinite. Every man-made religion has abandoned the infrangible truth of the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ in favor of humanism through ecumenism, even if it means compromising infallible truths for the sake of man's sensibilities as we saw last week with the pathetic and pernicious pabulum of BeneRatz' apology awash in ambiguity in forsaking the patrimony of the true Church in order to pander to infidels. Oh, forgive him, St. Pius V, forgive him, all ye Christians, who shed blood for Christ, forgive him for his grievous scandal. Truly, as today's Gospel asserts the proud will be humbled and the humble will be exalted. That is Father's message, to hang in there for only the true Roman Catholic Church can provide "the breadth and length, and heighth, and depth" of God's love and power which can only be found in the fullness of His Church as St. Paul attests in today's Epistle. And yet, as Christ has pointed out, so many are

The Straight Stuff Catholic PewPOINT Editor Michael Cain takes a page from the popular comedic schtick of Jeff Foxworthy, famous for his "You might be a redneck, if..." routine. Cain has adapted a less humorous approach; in fact a most serious adaptation of Foxworthy's routine, entitled "You might be a lukewarm Laodician, if..." to point out how many fall into the category illustrated so vividly and starkly in Apocalypse 3: 16 when the Lord said exactly what He would do to the lukewarm, tepid souls who wallow so in apathy and forsake their responsibility to the Communion of Saints as members of the Church Militant. This is intended to tweak the senses so that with eyes you will see, and with ears you will hear and be fearless, confident in God's protection when one is in the State of Sanctifying Grace and obedient to the true holy Church He established and what was observed and passed on in the patrimony of the Deposit of the Faith from Saint Peter through Pope Pius XII.

![]() As all prepare for Round Three in the debate between those who propose that the conciliar popes are Catholic and those who state they cannot possibly be, His Excellency Bishop Richard Williamson launched the first volley with an interview by Stephen Heiner, the latter being the same chap who got Bishop Tissier de Mallerais to trip all over his words in stating the obvious, and yet, just as Bishop Mallerais would not cross the Society line in calling one who spouts heresy a heretic, so also Bishop Williamson has been caught on his own petard as Father Anthony Cekada documents in his rebuttal to Bishop Williamson's remarks. Father contends how this illustrates the Bishop's mentevacantist thinking and that membership in the SSPX is not governed by Catholic thought but SSPXtra ideology wherein thinking for oneself in following unadulterated Catholic truth can also evolve just as Benedict XVI's own modernist theology does, but on opposite parallels that are still parallel and make no sense in light of Catholic Tradition, Divine Law and Canon Law. Father Cekada makes these points in proffering that the puppet governing of the SSPX mindset is sick in recognizing Benedict XVI's "sickness" as merely one who "suffers from theological attention deficit disorder" and nothing more, certainly not heresy, no matter how far he publicly deviates from Catholic truth. Haven't we had enough of this "sickness", this malady which has ravaged billions of souls over the past forty plus years? Father lays out his logic in revealing the Bishop's mentevacantist mindset in his article

Echoes of True Catholicism
For All Hallow's Eve we bring you a "Gem from the Past" with a 2004 article by Dr. Marian Therese Horvat who gets to the point of how Catholicism has been so undermined by secular interests and Halloween is now fully the devil's holiday and so many willingly are marching to satan's beat right into hell for the pagan practices, yeah, demonic practices are widely accepted today and grilled into the children's psyches as good. Marian traces this pagan phenomenology and shows how the only barrier to total paganism, total domination by the devil are the Traditional forces willing to valiantly fight the demons against all odds. The trick is they have on their side the greatest weapon - God. That is the Treat that will eventually subdue the evil spirits and free the faithful from the bonds of lucifer. That is the goal of those who have resisted the onslaught of paganism and the diabolic influence. She explains in her timely column Halloween: A Return to Paganism
"Qui legit, intelligat" ![]() For Father Louis Campbell's sermon for All Saints Day, we reach back to 2003 where he pointed out that our whole purpose on this earth is to join the saints in Heaven. When someone asks 'how many saints are in Heaven?' the answer is: 'ALL of them', for only the purest gain admittance to the presence of the Beatific Vision. But if you did not know Catholic teaching, you could easily get swept up in the heresy that very few don't go to Heaven thanks to the conciliarist concept of universal salvation and other widespread heresies that are not even perceived as such. The reason for this dumbing down of the flock is because of the lie that is being spread by modern society today, thanks to the intrusion of the wolves, ravenous ones at that, into the structure of the Church. It is one reason there are so few saints today. Those who strive to be saints will not condemn these people, but pray they will wake up just as a hardened criminal did because of the persevering prayers of the Little Flower as Father illustrated in his sermon.

Traditional Thoughts Faithful to Tradition ![]() As a follow-up to an earlier article entitled "Journey to Truth", John Gregory candidly shares his journey, warts and all, in an effort to encourage others that it definitely is all worth it. He entreats all to stay the course, assuring those caught in the haunted conciliar house that there is a way out, a definite light at the end of the tunnel and you'll discover it as well when you take the journey including the highs and lows, all necessary to reach the undeniable understanding of where you can find the true Roman Catholic Church. Strap on and hang on. It's the ride of your lifetime for the sake of your eternal life! We also would like to congratulate John and his new bride Lorraine on their happy Nuptials a few months ago which he shares in his column
The Journey Continues
Christ or chaos Many have been waiting for a comprehensive summary of the Debate held on the validity and credibility of Sedevacantism held in Spokane, Washington last month and no one can put it clearer than Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey who highlights the strengths and weaknesses of each of the two participants. He points out that for a debate to have a defined effect, the format has to be such that points are addressed without evading the issue or else it becomes separate entities that do not warrant debate but more replicate the incessant political commercials so prevalent this time of year. Dr. Droleskey, who graciously agreed to moderate the debate between John Lane and Robert Sungenis on whether the conciliar popes can possibly be Catholic, remained firm in his integrity to stay neutral until well after the debate. Thanks to the dauntless efforts of Jennifer Migala, we hope to soon be able to bring you the full transcript of the debate. For now you can listen to it on John Lane's St. Robert Bellarmine.net site. The statute of limitations for being neutral has passed and the time has now arrived for Tom to speak out and he has graciously allowed us to format his cogent comments from Christ or Chaos for this column. Sense of Sensus Catholicus ![]() In this column feature where we previously carried many of Father Wathen's articles, we are carrying a personal tribute to him penned by a friend from Boston Denise M. Trias, a Traditional Catholic mother of five, who has written a few articles for The Daily Catholic this past year. Her words show the heart and dedication of a true pioneer of the Traditional Catholic Movement whose thorough work, The Great Sacrilege is a benchmark of proof that the Novus Ordo Missae was truly the "abomination of desolation" our dear Lord warned of in the Gospel of St. Matthew. The Good Lord, so pleased with the dedication and loyalty of Father James Francis Wathen, bequeathed him a belated birthday present: He took him home, alleviating him of his earthly suffering five hours after his 74th birthday had passed. We pray God did so in order for Father to celebrate his reward for being a good and faithful servant, who kept the Faith, and now, will be worthy, through the merits of Jesus Christ, to experience the august presence of the Beatific Vision forever when he has completed, as we all must, our responsibility to atone for all our temporal sins. Denise shares her words of

Reality Check Gary L. Morella weighs in with some excellent thoughts in analyzing the most recent semi-annual conference of the conciliar bishops held last week in Baltimore in which, once again they showed their true colors: Pink and Lavender in lacing their document with the very same tone as the militant homosexual collective agenda. After the latest confab of the USCCB it would be an insult to consider the second "C" in USCCB as "Catholic," but rather "condescending" or "contemptuous" or "contradictory", but definitely NOT Catholic since these lavender lackeys pride themselves in their lukewarmness as they seek to impugn homophobia as the problem. Au contraire. The sooner the clueless souls in the Novus Ordo lodges realize this, the faster will they get rid of these spineless men posing as bishops. It's apparent they've never met or heeded a true Pope such as Pius XI in Casti Connubii and Ubi Arcano which Gary pinpoints in popping the pink balloon of the mindless miters in his article The USSCB Has Proven It is Definitely Not Catholic!

Christ or chaos The Straight Stuff Griff Ruby tackles the very crux of the problem so evident in the conciliar church that many cannot see it: Invisibilism. He points out that if Modernism is "the synthesis of all heresies," and it most definitely is, then Invisibilism is "the heresy behind all heresies." This is because the visible Church, as She was for nearly 2000 years, is no longer visible to the vast majority. In her stead has come the eclipse by the conciliar church of Her infrangible dogmas and doctrines, not to mention the very essence of Catholic worship - the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the patrimony of holy Mother Church. Thanks to the heresy of Invisibilism these have been slowly, and not so slowly, but surely erased from the memories of several generations. In these dark times, when all looks the darkest, there truly is hope by remembering what Christ Himself promised: He would be with us until the end of the world, but He also counts on us to do our part for the salvation of souls and the restoration of holy Mother Church. Griff explained in the first of a series on the problems and solutions with his piece on the heresy of Invisibilism
Reality Check With Christmas commercials blaring sales ads for every kind of high tech television from the minature Dick Tracy watch type to mega-large screen theater systems worth thousands of dollars, the temptation to get a TV set is enticing. Denise Trias hopes to allay those urges by going the other way and not even thinking of upgrading, let alone even watching. It's been called many things from the boob-tube to hypnotizer, from the shrine of the couch potato to the electronic babysitter. Whether it is HDTV, digital, cable, dish or plain ol' antenna, most consider it a necessity and in that faux pas state does the tabernacle of satan reign supreme in practically every home. That is the sad reality of how a culture, a nation, a civilization has been conquered by the prince of darkness for mankind, including Traditional Catholics, have become slaves to The Golden Calf in the Living Room

For the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, we bring you a rare article by Cyndi Cain, who shares the urgency of listening to God and His primary emissary - His Most Blessed Mother Mary. Now more than ever before. One of Mary's most powerful messages came on this day 475 years ago on Tepeyac Hill in Guadalupe, Mexico. The purpose was to inform the New World, then ruled by the Aztec Empire, to embrace the New Faith being brought to them by the Spanish missionaries as well as stop the barbaric practice of human sacrifice, a custom long observed by the pagan culture. Just as the Father chose for His only-begotten Son Jesus Christ to be born in a humble, poor stable, so also He chose a humble peasant to be the clarion for the means of salvation that would take the New World by storm for the Faith and end the human sacrifice by the Aztec nation at the same time defections were going on in the Old World due to the damaging Protestant Reformation. Cyndi points out that Our Lady's mission is still not done, for a far worse human sacrifice has not only visited our earth and our country in the horrible holocaust of the womb - abortion. She asks all to prepare for the birth of the Messiah by doing all in our power to help prepare for the births of 4,000 daily who are denied the right to life through abortion. Each of us can do our part to fulfill Our Lady's plea by offering our prayers and encouraging others of the vital importance of the Sanctity of Life and by using this Advent in prayer, penance and fasting for the reparation of many souls and the conversion of the hard-hearted. She asks through tears to all, especially the lukewarm, if they know

Gabriel's Clarion ![]() In anticipation of the miraculous birth of our Savior this year, Gabriel Garnica puts in perspective how man has gone off track in these modernist times by relying on self rather than God. That very fact also gives credence as to how and why Christ has been taken out of Christmas. Thanks to the lukewarm conciliar church, countless souls have been programmed to forget that in this era of initials and acronyms as identifiable nouns from NOM to SUV to GPS, they have only to remember one: IHS, standing for the Holy Name of Jesus Who, as the God-Man, relied on the cooperation of one chosen from all time by God to be free of all sin so that Emmanuel would have a fitting, perfect and pure Tabernacle for nine months before "the moment when the Son of God was born of the Most Pure Blessed Virgin Mary at midnight, in Bethlehem in the piercing cold." In that hour we should all readjust our GPS systems to reflect the true meaning: God Positioning Souls. If we choose to obey and work with Him rather than against Him, then, just as He guided the Magi by the Star of Bethlehem, so also He will navigate us safely through to our ultimate destination of Heaven. If we decide we know better and go it alone in the darkness of the world, the flesh and the devil, by insisting that it's a woman's right to choose, then we also will suffer the inevitable consequences: Getting lost...as in forever! Gabriel gets to the point in his excellent Christmas article,
