Much has been said regarding the Archbishop [sic] of Los Angeles Roger Mahony's impassioned defense of illegal immigrants in the past week. While this move should not surprise anyone who knows the new order cardinal's social justice theme, it should nevertheless provide yet another example of the hypocrisy and betrayal exhibited by this man called upon to lead his flock to salvation.
Valid and Evil Immigration
An immigrant is defined as one who moves, usually permanently, into one place from another place. The present immigration debate is portrayed by the liberal media and forces as being a debate about the validity of immigration rather than illegal immigration. There is no question that immigration itself is not evil and may even be very good for a society, and this is why liberals love to phrase the debate as an attack on immigrants and immigration in general. Led by this society's great moral imbecile and hypocrite, Hillary Clinton, these forces seek to paint conservatives as evil and intolerant ghouls who want to destroy families and lives out of some paranoid rejection of those who are different. Notice how such a characterization easily allows making yet another demonic jump to homosexuals and others.
In contrast to the valid, legal immigration that has given America so much cultural and societal richness, we have the evil of illegal immigration that only promotes unlawful, arrogant, defiant and insolent behavior such as burning the flag, flying it below a Mexican flag or waving it upside down. While many illegal immigrants are just desperate people trying to find a better life, this still does not justify breaking or flaunting the law of the land they claim to want to become a part of. One does not spit at one's host while claiming to seek an invitation to the host's home.
Liberals paint illegal immigration as yet another victimization of defenseless people by conservative ghouls, but the fact is that illegal immigration does great damage to this society which is itself victimized by this phenomenon. At the end of the day, illegal immigration is a scourge brought upon this nation by the devil and allowed by God just as He allowed to other disobedient nations in the past as evidenced in Scripture.
The most holy immigrants are the innocent unborn children who seek to move into this world, this life, from their temporary life in their mother's womb. These infants are the most innocent and helpless of all immigrants and thus deserve the most forceful and determined protection by anyone claiming to follow Christ. Do we see the pompous prelate of Los Angeles preaching feverishly on this? Of course not, it doesn't garner headlines and money in the coffers.
It seems to me to be the height of absurdity for anyone who defends abortion to then defend illegal immigrants as victims. First of all, the unborn are completely innocent and helpless whereas any immigrant is much less so. Secondly, illegal immigrants are breaking the law and seeking to validate and justify that breach of law while the unborn are breaking no laws or trying to validate anything other than the basic right we have all enjoyed of being allowed to be born into this world. After all, our country is founded upon the "inalienable right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Of all immigrants that could possibly enter a place, the innocent unborn are the most worthy and deserving for they are merely seeking their first opportunity to live the life we have all been fortunate to be granted. They are not stowaways or contraband but rather sacred cargo from God targeted for birth according to God's Will.
Mad Mahony's Latest Hypocrisy and Cowardice
Before he starts to stand up for the rights of illegal immigrants, why doesn't Mahony stand up for the unborn by declaring a day of fast for the innocent victims of abortion? It is difficult to reconcile the new order cardinal's inconsistent stance with respect to these two issues until one considers that in both cases he is merely following the Democratic Party of Death's position. He is in league with not only the Party of Death, but their actions; for by his silence he is condoning abortion, sodomy and a multitude of other sins. Does he not realize how he has caused such scandal in his pharisaec ways and lifestyle?
The spectacle of this new order man in red speaking out against policies regarding lawbreakers under the guise of compassion, while remaining silent regarding those who deserve the most compassion of all is nauseating to say the least. He, along with accomplice Ted Kennedy trying to ramrod an unconstitutional law through Congress, show their total hypocrisy and lack of ethics and morality. Mahony is no different than those who criticized Christ for associating with sinners while they were greater sinners than those they rebuked. He is also no different than Judas when he questioned the misuse of resources better spent on the poor while he was betraying his Lord and misusing the greatest resource ever received by mortal men, that of being one of Christ's first followers.
Mahony is supposed to be one of the successors of the Apostles, but by his very actions and words he has contradicted those he should be emulating in thought, word and deed. He has, in effect, apostasized from the very Church He claims authority in, for He has preached a gospel other than that which we received as St. Paul tells us in Galatians 1: 8-10. He is no angel and yet so many have been deceived by his words and actions. He is anathema just as Paul put it and we cannot ignore that fact. We can't follow him for he has turned his back on Catholicism and has been preaching a false gospel - the latest anathema being his outright entreaty to disobey the law. Where was he to rail against Roe v. Wade? Where was he when sodomite abusers in his very class in the seminary were sexually molesting the innocent and his classmates elevated to the new order episcopate who knew all the while what was going on: men like William Levada and George Niederhauer who knew very well what Mahony knew and hid. One need only do the deduction: Why was Levada elevated to head the new order Doctrine of the Faith? What does Benedict XVI know that we don't know, but suspect? What did John Paul II know that we don't, but saw it all deteriorate before our very eyes? What do all the new order bishops and cardinals know that the rest don't know, but has definitely been harming souls and causing a massive number of emigrants to go from this life into another land of everlasting damnation.
The bottom line is that this so-called shepherd is a fraud and a personification of everything that is wrong with the American 'Catholic' Church today, and which we can see, taints modern Rome all the more, or is it vice-versa. The line is so blurred, I don't know. While Mahony may be putting on a hypocritical front and photo op for fighting to allow others to obtain their green cards and citizenships despite violating the law, his own violation of God's Law may well have already earned him a green card and citizenship in perdition.
