The Straight Stuff
Griff Ruby rejoices that the "Indult" even exists for to many it is the only link to the truths and traditions of Holy Mother Church. While the truth may be blurred by the Novus Ordo conciliarists, at least, for the most part, the traditions remain. What also remains is the fact that many, who have since disowned the heretical Vatican II agenda and its man-made pagan, Protestant synthetic rite, began that road to discovery by attending an "Indult" at a time in their life when satan's venemous veil still blinded them to what was really going on. Yet by their attendance God allowed a small rip in that veil and it shed a small light on their hearts to what has been lost. Slowly but surely there were enough graces to shred that demonic curtain and shed full light into the heart, soul and mind. This was also the inspiration of the Apostle Paul's final epistles to the Ephesians, Colossians and Philippians composed while he was incarcerated in a small cell. Griff encourages the Indult for now for eventually it will drive more and more to the True Traditional Latin Mass and populate parishes who will not compromise the Sacred Deposit of the Faith and Holy Mother Church's sacred liturgy. Griff explains in his column In THIS I Rejoice
Catholic PewPOINT
Time flies when you're having fun, but when it is at the expense of our Lord and His holy Mystical Bride, then it drags while hell's tempo accelerates. The clock started 47 years ago and since then it seems like most have been going in slow motion toward Christ and His truths while in actuality racing pell mell away from Him at breakneck speed toward that ever-greased slippery slope to perdition. In this 17th issue of the 17th edition, Editor Michael Cain takes the reader down memory lane to conditions the way they were in 1959 and how far we have fallen since. Will we ever learn? From Benedict's latest encyclical it is obvious most have not and continue to blindly follow the pied-pipers of pan-religion right to the abyss. While the fallacious flute had been prepped well before 1959, it was first trilled on that Septuagesima Sunday when the newly elected Roncalli ignored our Lord's parable of the day. Ironic that back then "many were called, but few chosen" because those chosen ignored the call. Cain cites the plane crash of a trio of rock n' roll legends around the same time as the catalyst for expressing the aurora of an era that was just beginning - "the day the music died" -for ushering in the daybreak of revolution that would reach its apex in the savage 60's and lay waste to millions of souls and psyches long into the 70's, 80's, 90's and now past the halfway point in the new millennium. If we were to mark that time it could best be described as "The Day Tradition Died"
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fourth Sunday After Epiphany, he cites today's Gospel as a wake-up call to all who don't seem to think we are perishing. The Apostles were afraid of losing their lives in the all-engulfing sea, but so many today, especially those who call themselves 'Catholic' (but don't act or speak like Catholics) think there is nothing to be afraid of, that no matter their sinful lives and reliance on worldy things and authorities, that God will still lift them out of the boat if things really get bad. Father points out that they have been stagnant too long on the banks of the Lethe River, one of the tributaries that flows through hell and from which the comes the etimology of "lethargic". Lethargy is one of the derivatives for the seven deadly sins and the longer those who place their hope in man wait, the harder it will be to recognize the true Beacon of Hope, the Lamp of Salvation. Father quotes both Old and New Testament Holy Writ in assuring that the only hope for redemption is through Jesus Christ and the steady rescue ship He has sent: the Immemorial Holy Sacrifice of the Mass wherein daily - or weekly for most without the daily Latin Mass - we are not only reminded, but can readily recognize why Christ is the Lord and our only hope for salvation. Take courage, we shall not perish if we but believe and hoist the sails of true Catholicism against the winds of the world which will be quelled by the One Who created and rules all. Father explains in his sermon "There Arose a Great Storm"
Doctors of the Church
In honor of today's Feast of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Francis de Sales which is superseded by the Fourth Sunday After Epiphany this year, we present a brief backgrounder on this saintly bishop born in France. Through the grace of God he reached every corner of the world with his works and influence. His piety, zeal and energy caught the eye of no less than the Pope himself who made him one of the youngest bishops to rule the See of Geneva. Along with another saint, he founded the Visitandines. He was known for his gentleness and meekness, and his holiness so well known that he was the first person to be beatified in the new St. Peter's Basilica. In 1923 this meek but magnificent warrior orator and writer of orthodoxy was officially proclaimed Patron Saint of the Catholic Press
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica finishes off the week by addressing a problem in society and the Church today on why abortion and sodomy have gained such ground in the last 30 plus years. That could be because of the level of competency and lack of dedication the shepherds have settled for over the past 40 years. Because they have been lax, Gabriel lays out the lukewarmness that has permeated society today, expressed in the words and actions of the spineless prelates who think they can have it both ways. Christ has asserted that no man can serve two masters and yet these whited sepulchres dressed in prelates' robes try to contradict the Son of God and lead everyone astray by preaching a gospel other than what Paul preached per his words in Galatians 1: 8-10. Gabriel describes the tiers and why it is so lonely on the top level and so crowded where the bottomfeeders dwell. If you must ask why Roe v. Wade has gone on this long, you need only look to the third level of shepherds to see why the flocks are so scattered and confused. Gabriel explains in his column The Three Levels of Shepherds
On the BattleLine
Released on Tradition In Action near the 15th year anniversary when the United States first went into Iraq, Atila Sinke Guimarăes presents some sobering thoughts that should stop the anti-war activists in their tracks. As the liberals clamor about the number of American troop casualties in Iraq over the past three years, the numbers actually pale in comparison to the number of urban casualties just in three of the largest U.S. cities New York, LA, and Chicago. Even one casualty of war is too much, but when you realize that more have died of homicide in those three cities than those fallen soldiers in Iraq, it's time to put things in persepective, especially now, when the Al Qaeda is rumbling once again, spurred on by new threats from Osama bin Laden, and the radical left are doing all they can to undermine the U.S. effort for peace. This is no time to retreat with our tails between our legs. Rather it is the time to defend humanity and be the beacon of freedom the United States has always been. The biggest problem is the ban on proselytism. All those muslims and no one can tell them the truth of Jesus Christ. That is the true tragedy of the war in Iraq. Atila explains in his bird's eye view of the news column War and Peace in Perspective
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica completes his week of articles on abortion in commiserating "Woe is Roe Week" with an article on the devastation that satan has wrought. Despite the various victories of the evil one, Gabriel points out that they are hollow and short-lived for he will get his head crushed in the end. We can help expedite that longed-for event but only by striving with every fiber of our being to educate the masses as to the sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance. Sadly, nearly 50 million unborns have been sacrificed nonsensically at the altar of convenience and there will be hell to pay for all those who had a part in any way in these monstrous murders. Those who could have curbed the massacres and did not will be held more accountable than those who did not have total knowledge of the despicable act they were complicit in. Gabriel explains in his column Each Abortion is a Mini-Calvary
Doctors of the Church
In honor of today's Double Feast of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint John Chrysostom, we bring you a short profile on his life. This great orator studied under one of Greece's famed orators and ultimately became one of the greatest orators laboring for Christ and His Church. He was duly recognized by Pope St. Pius X as Patron of Preachers. Like the other Doctors of the fourth and fifth century, he combatted the damaging heresy of Arianism and was harassed for his orthodoxy. Like St. Jerome, he employed the wealth of his family to further his own studies before turning his talents to bring souls to Our Lord. This masterful Doctor, the "Golden-throated Orator" is Saint John Chrysostom who was known far and wide as The Golden Voice of Truth
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica continues his week of articles on abortion to commiserate "Woe is Roe Week" with an article on the audacity of Planned Parenthood to capitalize on a disaster the scope of Katrina to spawn their lies against life and push contraceptives and abortion. Gabriel likens it to the Titanic in which the SOS sent out for help today would not be a humble, pleading cry to God but a demand to the Almighty that He accept sinners just as they are without any repentance and accommodate them in their sin or else. Gabriel exposes the total senselessness of such thinking and yet million continue to contribute to these harbingers of the culture of death with nary a thought that they are merely accommodating and reserving their eternal quarters in hell. Call it the devil's triumph and Planned Barrenhood is at the forefront with the pitchfork, ready to plunge it into any womb they can to kill tomorrow's leaders. Talk about terrorism. Forget Al Qaeda, pro aborts are the worst terrorists this world has ever known. Gabriel explains in his column The Devil's Disaster Demeanor
Faithful To Tradition
John Gregory has convinced Professor Ralph "Brainiac" Barfmen, Ph.D. to complete his dissection of Unitatis Redintegratio in reading between the lines of the dreadful Vatican 2 decree on Ecumenism. Today John has coaxed the good doctor to finish up this abominable decree which, as Professor Barfmen points out, shows that those who carried out their agenda to take away the propitiatory sacrifice from the Mass were only carrying out their marching orders as set down so ambiguously in the conciliar documents. Truly even back then few realized there was definitely something "rotten in Denmark." Ah yes, the nefarious northern Europe that influenced so much of Vatican II. The professor explains further in reading between the lines after putting his digestive tract on life support, so to speak, over these last four days. Such has been the attacks of unorthodoxy against his sensus Catholicus. He completes today what he began Monday in deciphering the treacherous chess game the conciliar church has been playing with minds and souls over these last 40 plus years, specifically with the wretching decree on Ecumenism. A Certain Type of "Movement" Part Four
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica continues his week of articles on abortion to commiserate "Woe is Roe Week" with an article in which he exposes the agenda of those who defend abortion as using the tactics the Nazis and Terrorists such as Al Qaeda use. Murderers all have the same modus operandi and they all march to one man's orders: satan. Gabriel lays out the recipe most often used by those enemies of God who have sold their souls to the devil to do his bidding in murdering Almighty's innocent ones. They don't care how they do it and they'll rationalize it in every way they can, but the bottom line these chefs will have hell to pay when God exacts the bill at the end of the day. Gabriel explains in his column The Recipe for Making An Abortion Defense
Faithful To Tradition
John Gregory has convinced Professor Ralph "Brainiac" Barfmen, Ph.D. to continue his dissection of Unitatis Redintegratio in reading between the lines of the dreadful Vatican 2 decree on Ecumenism. Today John has resuscitated the good doctor enough to complete Chapter Two. On this Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, Professor Ralph "Brainiac" Barfmen, Phd. struck from his horse from the last installment's nauseating nonsense on ecumenism, has duly recovered though many thought the exercise had killed him - so strong the attack of unorthodoxy against his sensus Catholicus. True to his word he will follow through what he started in further deciphering the treacherous chess game the conciliar church has been playing with minds and souls over these last 40 plus years, specifically with the wretching decree on Ecumenism. A Certain Type of "Movement" Part Three
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica continues his week of articles on abortion to commiserate "Woe is Roe Week" with an article that laments what has happened to those supposedly "safe" havens or refuges such as the womb, home, workplace and church. The womb was ransacked universally only after the universal Church abandoned its post as the guardian of morals and virtues thanks to the liberality and novelty adopted from Vatican II. What the conciliarists also forgot, and that was the key to it all, was the meaning of Christ's ultimate sacrifice on Calvary. This lapse is all the more evident in their forsaking the propitiatory Sacrifice of the Mass in favor of a participatory service that seeks to please man rather than God. For such there is a price to pay and millions upon millions of unborn have paid that price and twice that many now realize the error of their ways, but it is too late. They are already in hell. No wonder Our Lord and His Blessed Mother weep so for Their children. Will we ever learn? Gabriel explains the new meaning of Calvary in his column Murder of Innocence
Faithful To Tradition
In commemoration of Church Unity Week as it was always intended per Christ's words in Mark 16: 15-16, Matthew 28: 19-20, and John 17: 21, John Gregory prompts Professor Ralph "Brainiac" Barfmen, Ph.D. to continue his dissection of Unitatis Redintegratio in reading between the lines of the dreadful Vatican 2 decree on Ecumenism. Today the good doctor delves a bit further into Chapter One in exposing the underbelly of the ecumaniacs and the fact Catholicism took a holiday from Vatican II on. As difficult has that is for the professor, John and the rest of us to stomach, it is a fact that many more need to know so that the masses will demand the abrogation of all the conciliar popes have decreed and return to the sanity, sacredness and sensibility of pre-Vatican II when Catholic meant CATHOLIC and there were no such terms as "Traditional" or "Conservative" or "Progressive". In fact, as Dr. Barfmen points out, there was no such word as conciliarism. Once again he tries to get through the ecumenism decree in A Certain Type of "Movement" Part Two
Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus
Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, tackles the nonsense of the theory of evolution and what is really behind it, the purposeful agenda of depriving, in truly Marxist fashion, the existence of a Supreme Being. Now any grade schooler worth their salt knows that there is a God and He fashioned the heavens and earth and all that inhabit them for all time. But the blind, deaf and dumb primate dolts who have sold out to the devil are trying their darndest to muck up minds with the State's permission and the confusion in the conciliar church has not helped. Father exposes the fraud that evolution is and the superfrauds that are behind this mindraking effort to program a new creature of hell right here on earth where man's only loyalty will be to the State. Think of all the sci-fi books and films and then consider it one hundred times worse, make that a thousand or million times worse because God is not part of the equation to those promoting this demonic agenda. Father explains in his commentary on Intelligent Design
Christ or chaos
As a segue to Father Wathen's commentary we bring you a recent article by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey in which once again he hammers home the point and exposes the stupidity carried in L'Osservatore Romano. Tom comments that the reason for this is "A loss of Faith." He points out that "the essence of God is simplicity. His truths are simple. Complexity is of the devil." Pride is the downfall of so many and Tom makes note that the article in question, which he is referring to, was written by Professor Fiorenzo Facchini of the University of Bologna. It does not represent in any way the "official" teaching of the Catholic Church, but its assertion that the disproved ideology of evolutionism is compatible with the Catholic Faith just adds more and more confusion into the lives of ordinary Catholics. Why is it so difficult to believe the simple truth that God spoke the Word and created the world and everything in it out of nothing? He begins by citing what conciliarists are slow to accept: Miracles, as Tom explains on his site in his column Apologists for Unintelligence (er, Stupidity).
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica kicks off a week of articles on abortion to commiserate "Woe is Roe Week" with an account of a nightmare that is recurring over and over as more innocent unborns are sacrificed at the altar of the world, the flesh and the devil. Reality takes a holiday when the pro-aborts go into action. They say the devil never sleeps and those who advance his agendas should know. Gabriel brings home the point that none of us should sleep well until the evil human sacrifice known as abortion is wiped off the face of the earth. It begins with exposing Planned Parenthood and all those who worship at the altar of satan whether they be politician or prelate, judge or jury, abortion provider or media propagandist. Gabriel explains his crazy dream in his column I Just Had Another One of Those Nightmares
Faithful To Tradition
In commemoration of Church Unity Week as it was always intended per Christ's words in Mark 16: 15-16, Matthew 28: 19-20, and John 17: 21, John Gregory has been able to locate Professor Ralph "Brainiac" Barfmen, Ph.D. No, he is no relation to the Bartman of Cubs' infamy, but the savvy professor is rather a very mysterious hermit, if you will over the last 35 years or so, thanks to the corruption known as Vatican II. John has managed to entice this orthodox but unusual doctor to comment on the dreaded document that started the conciliarists on the slippery slope of Ecumenism back in 1964 with the V2 decree Unitatis Redintegratio. John provides his cogent comments on the key erroneous and non-Catholic points of this conciliar decree. Today we present Part One in commenting on the Introduction and half of Chapter One of "'Catholic' Principles on Ecumenism". He prefaces his piece by letting readers know of Dr. Barfmen's extreme gasticular sensitivities to heresy and ambiguity. A Certain Type of "Movement" Part One
Christ or chaos
In commiserating the 33rd Aniversary of Roe v. Wade, we present a pertinent article by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey written yesterday that nails the reasons for the inhuman human sacrifice in the womb. As Tom points out, although we must be concerned about the carnage of the preborn, both by means of chemical abortifacients and surgical abortions, and seek to do what we can as Catholics to save both the lives of the babies and the souls of all involved in seeking to kill them, we must remember that the bloodshed of the innocent preborn that takes place in this country and in the world is the direct result of the forces unleashed by Martin Luther and the Protestant Revolt. Dr. Droleskey concedes that his column contains nothing new but, as the master he is at highlighting key Catholic doctrinal points in past encyclicals by reliable pre-Vatican II Popes, he illustrates so clearly the necessity for all men and all nations to subordinate everything in their lives to Christ the King through His one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church. Tom explains at his site in his column From Luther to Roe
Pro Life Prescriptions
In commemoration of the 33rd Anniversary of Roe v. Wade we bring you a "Gems from the Past" by Dr. Frank Joseph two years ago in which he so masterfully illustrated how the gates of hell were opened and much of hell was emptied on January 22, 1973 when the deadly, venomous snakes of NARAL, NOW, NAF, and Planned Parenthood slithered onto the scene . Their deadly venom effecting whole generations in elimating generations to come through the hideous slaughter of untold millions of innocents in the womb and the poisoning of souls to believe this rot is right. Frank held nothing back in his column and we can see the enemies of God have held nothing back either for they continue to slither in The Snakepit of Abortion.
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday After Epiphany, he emphasizes St. Peter's words and brings home some facts that modern Rome is quick to hide. From the actions and words of Paul VI, John Paul II and now Benedict XVI we can see who is spinning the dreidel of the new Evangelization which is so deftly trying to void Christ and His True Church. Father points out how this undermining of the Faith has been at the heart of the turmoil in Church and State since the revolution in both France and America for the Zionists, who have abandoned not only Christ as the Messiah but even their own Torah in favor of the unsubstantiated and fabricated Talmud, which has fashioned the Noahide Laws in order to forge a new Jerusalem - not the Heavenly Jerusalem of Holy Writ - but a man-made one that will rule the world with a "messiah" yet to come; one who cannot be the True Messiah for they have already rejected Christ. Powerful forces have infiltrated modern Rome as well as the United States Congress and officially abrogated Christ and the Ten Commandments given to Moses. No wonder the judges are getting away with judicial tyranny; no wonder our laws are being ransacked; no wonder the Catholic churches have been stripped bare of the True Presence; and no wonder there are so many questions of whether the conciliar popes are Catholic or not? Their actions give credence to the fact they are not. Father provides the facts in his sermon "An Incorruptible Inheritance"
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In light of Benedict-Ratzinger's visit to the Roman Synagogue last week, we felt it was appropriate that we bring you, as part of our wrapping up "Double Whammy Week" Father Louis Campbell's sermon from two years ago for the Third Sunday After Epiphany and the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul (which we celebrate this Wednesday). In his retro sermon, Father focuses on today's Gospel and the faith of the centurion and that many who "shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of Heaven" shall be "cast out into the exterior darkness;" where "there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." This they shall suffer because of their disbelief. Whereas the leper and the centurion believed, the High Priests, Sanhedrin and a great majority of Jews did not believe He was the Messiah 2000 years ago and today they still do not believe. Now this apostasy has permeated the newChurch as Father clearly documents. Instead of the Church standing in solidarity for what Christ commanded in Mark 16: 15-16 and converting non-believers so they will not be condemned, today it has sold out to Jewish pressure and abandoned the mission of the Gospel and what the Church has always taught from Peter through Pope Pius XII. Father showed proof of this just in the actions by Rome and John Paul II and the man behind the scenes - Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. Father lays out the facts in his sermon The New Judaizers
Christ or chaos
Following up on Gabriel Garnica's article, "Judas, We Hardly Knew Ye", Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey provides an in-depth study on what's behind the scenes and furnishes accuracy through Scripture and Holy Mother Church's stance on the status of Judas Iscariot, which is vastly different than the modern conciliar church's idea of universal salvation in which men at very high levels of the modern Vatican have expressed the heretical belief that Judas was saved despite the evidence to the contrary. Yet Tom expresses the rationale why such thought is expressed today as more of the bastions of True Catholicism are undermined in further distancing Eternal Rome from Modern Rome and the concept that 'Judas wasn't so bad' plays right into the universal salvation heresy expressed by a modernist who was most influential in the life of the past two conciliar popes - Hans Urs von Balthasar. Tom explains how deftly the modern Judases kiss up to the world, the flesh and the devil by betraying Christ and His Social Kingship in his thorough and revised column he has posted on his Christ or chaos site with A Patron Saint for Conciliarism?
Christ or chaos
In a "Gems From the Past" article by Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey for this "Double Whammy Week" we present a column he wrote two years ago in which he expresses how too many have accepted the compromise and in so doing have only empowered satan further. He addressed the bishops of the United States, dressing them down for their lukewarmness and pulled no punches when it came to the Democratic candidate for president John F. Kerry who was trying to ride on the coattails of another JFK whose own heresy began America on this trek into moral depravity and a loss of its soul. Tom pointed out the magnificence and absolute principles outlined by Pope Leo XIII in Sapientiae Christianae 114 years ago which holds truer today for politicians and the hierarchy than ever before. Tom also reminded the reader that it is not the political parties who have the answers. Neither the pro-abort Dems or the hypocritical GOP are the answer. The only answer continues to be, as we arrive at the 33rd anniversary of the woeful Roe v. Wade decision, is to strive with every ounce of energy and breath of life to preserve life - everlasting life - by seeking to re-establish the Social Kingship of Christ no matter what it takes. Tom laid it all out in his hard-hitting column Craven Cowards and Judases
The Straight Stuff
Griff Ruby debuts with a practical spirital lesson that everyone can relate to, a boy and his dog. Who among us did not have a pet that we grew up with and could never quite figure out Fido's thinking? He equates this simple lesson to the malaise in the conciliar church today and why the True Church is in total eclipse. He uses the metaphor of the lampstand to convey the same and that the lampstand is still there, still containing the oil necessary for burning brighter than ever; it merely takes the right one to light the candle. Our prayers and perseverance will help in that cause. Until it's lit again, we'll continue the futile effort to chase after the dog. Griff explains in his column A Spiritual Lesson from My Little Dog, and other Spiritual Meditations
THE STRAIGHT STUFF
In a "Gems From the Past" piece for this "Double Whammy Week", Griff Ruby applied the lessons conveyed each time anyone boards an airliner when the flight attendant reviews the safety precautions in case of an emergency. He noted that the emphasis is placed on assuring one's own physical faculties before being able to assist someone else and shows the analogy here of this common sense that one cannot help another if one is suffocating. That is exactly what is happening in the Novus Ordo and for those who claim they can "do more good" staying where they are is akin to someone saying "I don't need the oxygen, I can breathe on my own and I'm staying put" as the plane fast loses air pressure. Where will they be when that happens? Exactly where so many in the post-conciliar church are today, lacking oxygen which affects the brain and perhaps that is the answer why they have allowed themselves to be so dumbed-down over the past several decades where they will accept anything without ever challenging the facts and the constituted evangelic traditions that have clearly warned against such dangers. If one wants to gain altitude and level out their spiritual life, Griff's column is an eye-opener to those "comfortable" in their angst. He explains in his pragmatic column A Spiritual Lesson From An Airline Stewardess
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica weighs in on the recent insanity of "scholarly men" close to the modern Vatican who have expressed sympathy for one of the most wicked men in history - Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed Christ. But, according to them, we shouldn't consider him thusly for it would be anti-Semitic and intolerant. This political correct madness has gone too far and if Benedict XVI signs off on the latest heresy to crop up in the conciliar church we can only pray for a mass exodus from the false, man-made religion that has done more to pander to Pandora's Box than anything else. It's time to quash the idea of eliminating the horns of Judas and giving him a halo. As Gabriel emphasizes, it's time to emphasize the symbol of this "son of perdition" a pitchfork, 30 pieces of silver and a hangman's knot to drive home the point that satan's enablers are barking up the Judas Tree: The one he hung himself on in despair without remorse or admonition of his sin. In other words, to these "bright" scholars: who is going to tell them that one dying in mortal sin is in hell? Gabriel makes it crystal clear in his column Judas, We Hardly Knew Ye
Gabriel's Clarion
In a "Gems From the Past" article by Gabriel Garnica for this "Double Whammy Week" we present a column he wrote two years ago on the very same problems that still exist today. Back then he addressed the total illogical reasoning of the relativist who make no sense with their illogical rubbish such as "I am pro-choice, but not pro-abortion," or "I am all for the homosexuals, but not for same sex marriage." Recently this same crazy logic has been applied by pro-abort pro-sodomite 'Catholic' politicians in lashing out at the few bishops who have decided to uphold Catholic doctrine and adhere to the Apostle Paul's infallible words in 1 Corinthians 11: 27, "Wherefore, whoseover shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord." Gabriel pointed out that the reason these excuses are even allowed is because those who should be the guardians of the Faith are moral cowards and unreliable from the pope on down. Basically, as Garnica syllogized, one cannot count on cowards to come through when the chips are down. Political correctness, fashion and fads be damned, there is only one course to follow and that is the path that has been forged by the tried troopers of Truth and Tradition. To veer from that path is most dangerous and will be very, very harmful to one's spiritual health. All the foolish talk about the dangers of using 'communion as a weapon' are nothing but smokescreens to deflect the truth that few bishops are ready to be uncompromising and few politicians are ready to comply with true Catholic doctrine. While they gather up all the fool's gold they can, they pass the priceless treasures of "real gold" at their fingertips. Sad and tragic, especially when it comes time for accounting for their worth. Gabriel explained in his column The Devil's Dilemma!
Symphony of Suffering
On the feast of the Chair of Peter, Cyndi Cain emphasizes the lesson of the Epiphany and how Holy Mother Church in her wisdom illustrates the importance of the feast near the beginning of the liturgical year, a necessity on the quest for the salvation. Throughout the centuries the tradition of this feast has perfectly sequed from Christmastide to preparation for the life and lesson of our Lord. Just as our Lord was tempted at the outset of His public life, so also are we who strive to be faithful today. Just as Christ prepared for 30 years for three years of public life, we must not be impatient to accomplish so much so soon. We should be willing to learn and know our Faith, to cherish it for what it is and share it freely. Because of Free Will we can choose between Peril or the Pearl of Great Price - a Priceless Treasure. Only a dolt or fool would choose the former. Yet there are so many who do not recognize the priceless treasure they have in their Faith and will cast these pearls to swine by accepting the horrific, sacrilegious Novus Ordo while ignoring, even demeaning the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven; that which best honors the Holy Trinity: the infrangible Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Cyndi explains in her column The Pearl of Priceless Treasure
Symphony of Suffering
In bringing you a "Gems From the Past" as part of our "Double Whammy Week" we reach back four years to pull out of archives a probing column Cyndi wrote in 2001 after we had spent one year studying and discovering how the conciliar church had so duped the faithful into believing it was still Catholic while abandoning the truths and traditions that had always sustained and identified Holy Mother Church. Cyndi asks her readers if they recall the Catholic culture they were weaned on. She asks all to remember and ask, with her, where have these customs gone. Why? Why have we allowed so much of our treasured traditions to be obliterated? She tweaks your memories and consciences to refuse the fare being fed by the false shepherds today and demand the true Faith. No dogma, no dollars! It's the only way to rid the rascals who have infected the Mystical Bride of Christ. She explains in her "Gems From the Past" column If you remember, you must ask 'Why?'!
Shears and Tears of a Lamb
We are delighted to welcome back Catharine Lamb after a lengthy hiatus. She has been sitting back, viewing all that has happened over the past year from her perch in her own control tower and, through the eyes of grace, can see not only the total lack of sanctity in the flight plan laid out by the conciliar church and its leaders, but warns those booked on the flight to ruin to cancel their flight plans right now and book a sure flight on Tradition Airways. Oh, it will be a rocky ride, no frills, no accumulated mileage points on earth, but the rewards are infinite and it is the only sure way to reach the desired destination of eternal life. She scopes out the itinerary every authentic Catholic must follow if they want to be assured safe passage and know that is the only way to arrive at the heavenly terminal where Peter is ready to welcome weary, but faithful travelers with the words, "well done, good and faithful servant." Catharine points out how the conciliar church, by cutting corners everywhere they could, have jeopardized the everlasting safety of countless millions of souls. Would you really fly with such an airline? Not if you value your eternal salvation and mean the words you say in the Act of Love: "I love my neighbor as myself for love of Thee." Shears and Tears of a Lamb
We bring you a "Gem from the Past" which was featured on these pages exactly two years ago when Catharine Lamb applied the heat lamp to the frozen tundra of the "New Springtime." While Novus Ordo Catholics await the 'promised' 'season of renewal' their hearts grow colder, unable to thaw in the endless winter of discontent that shivers in schism and apostasy. Yet they plod on thinking things will warm up. Oh they will, but unfortunately not here on earth which the New Order focuses so much on, but in the climes of hell which may freeze over to accommodate all the clueless souls who don't realize this "New Springtime" and "Civilization of Love" are a snowball growing larger as it rolls downward towards the abyss as Catharine warned in her column The Novus Ordo and the New Winter
Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus
Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, begins the New Year with a mission. Despite his illness, he does not hesitate to call a spade a spade in expressing his thoughts on the magnificence and meaning of the hidden life of Jesus Christ and how today's conciliar church has abandoned all He exemplified. Father holds nothing back in describing the anger God feels for those who have allowed His words to be altered, to be misinterpreted, for temporal things to replace the essential salvific truths. For their betrayal perdition awaits as Father candidly explains from the popes on down to the bishops, priests and those 'catholics' blinded by the world, the flesh and the devil. In Christ's Agony in the Garden He foresaw all the sins of mankind. Nothing was hidden from Him and He wept bitterly tears of blood for those who would betray Him in the future, especially those entrusted as shepherds for His holy Church. Woe to them for not abiding by all of Christ's teachings; woe to them who have forgotten the Lord's exemplication of humility carried out in The Hidden Life
Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel returns in 2006 with the first of a slew of articles he will be bringing readers on the state of the State and the state of the Church and how so often the twain never meets, for man by his own initiative often chooses to walk away from God. This is the crux of the problem. God remains stationary while we either walk towards Him or away from Him. That is what sin is, walking away from God and going against His divine Will. Thanks to man's fallen nature, such subtle but deadly heresies can easily creep into our culture and poison man's thinking. The Sacrifice of the Cross has been forgotten in favor of skipping to the Resurrection. Over the last half century this is exactly what has happened and goes against all that Christ revealed. Yet, blinded by the devil, man has closed himself off to God, greatly altering the concept of Who God truly is. Instead man, forgetting that God is always open to us but not our sins, pettifogs what His Divine Will is as always expressed through Divine Revelation. "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Second Sunday After Epiphany, he reminds us of the miracles our Lord and Savior manifested for all to see, originating with the account in today's Gospel of the wedding feast at Cana. He reasserts that the old wine was the Old Covenant which expired with the coming of the Messiah and the new wine created by Christ when He changed water into wine represents the New Covenant. Despite the Zionist influence prevalent today in the conciliar church that the Old Covenant was not abrogated and still in vogue, we know from Catholic truth and the Scriptures that such thinking is heretical for Christ once and for all to abolish the old and establish the new. Thus His first miracle was an everlasting statement still carried out today in the miracle of miracles He left us - the propitiatory Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as Father points out in his sermon in highlighting specifically the words of the beloved disciple John and its perpetual impact on our Catholic Faith. The Sanity of Sanctity
As we reach the midpoint of the month of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, we provide a litany of all of the saints whose feast days are celebrated in the month of January. Many of these saints are little-known and often are not, for that reason, invoked in our prayers. While there are a few Time of Epiphany feria days in this month, almost each day is dedicated to one or more saints historically acknowledged in the traditional calendars. If you add this short litany to your daily Rosary, you will have the benefit of invoking the prayers of some of these lesser-known saints for January and, as the Three Kings bowed in humility, better prepare yourself to keep your spiritual resolutions for 2006. "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Feast of the Circumcision, he points to the conciliar usurpers who are intent on circumcizing the infrangible words of Sacred Scripture by bleeding the doctrines and dogmas of Holy Mother Church and caving to pressure from the Modernist marauders who have created an evolving and confusing structure of Faith that has slipped from the rock-solid foundation they once enjoyed to the sand that will cause the collapse of the false church as has happened to every false religion before. Only one Church will stand and that is the one Christ founded and promised that "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Yet, in the shadow of the scurrilous Henry VIII, two British Isle conciliar prelates are ready to sell the farm and follow in the footsteps of the apostate bishops who abandoned the Church in the 16th century. As usual modern Rome is silent once again, giving their hushed consent to the further wreckovation of the True Faith. But Father points out the magnificence and pure infallibility of the True Mass and the sure words of past reliable Roman Pontiffs and one of the greatest Doctors of the Church. Who are we to follow? The sainted wisdom of popes and saints or the worldly folly of men that could very well not even be bishops? It's a no-brainer to those who truly know and cherish their Faith and we have Sacred Scripture and Tradition - combined they compose Divine Revelation - to illuminate our path. "A Light to my Path"
