The Devil's Disaster Demeanor

The audacity of those who have sold their soul to satan! They manipulate desperate souls into trying to save face while blurring the real loss: a lost soul forever. In the process they are creating more monsters into a perverted clamor of in-your-face rebellion and demands that cry to Heaven for vengeance.

"The international signal for distress, SOS, later came to represent, among other things, "Save our Souls" but this lost society is the new Titanic and it is so steeped in its own sin that it is truly sinking in a sea of perdition, hypocrisy, arrogance, defiance, and delusion. There are many more souls at stake as this society sinks than were at risk in the cold waters of 1912 as the Titanic sank, but the greatest tragedy is that this society's distress signal of SOS has been twisted from a plea to save souls into a defiant SATISFY OUR SIN."

When I first heard reports a few months ago that Planned Parenthood was helping Katrina disaster victims by providing free abortions and free contraceptives, I once again realized that the devil has this society in a moral freefall!

A New Definition of Charity

One of the most insidious and despicable traits of the evil one is his ability and lust for twisting what is good into a mutant, vile distortion. When we think of charity we have thoughts of selfless service, kindness, consideration, and a reflection of Christ's example. Obviously, charity is a social good because it is supposed to shift our selfishness into selflessness, our self-concern into concern for others, and our "me first" attitude into a "what can I do for others" view. However, we are also well aware that the devil relishes the thought of masking pure evil as apparent good via vile hypocrisy, and this is no less evident in the recent Katrina disaster.

According to the devil, charity means giving away things for free, no matter what those things are. Under this new definition, the only thing better than sin itself is sin that you do not even have to pay for! To add a cherry to this sin sundae, the devil adds a new twist. Charitable sin need not even make sense since, after all, since when does eternal perdition make sense?

All Sin with No Sense

I am sure that the first thing that an average woman thinks about when faced with a natural or man-made disaster or a terrorist attack is how to get an abortion at the cheapest price possible! Under this premise, people are willing to pay to murder their unborn child when things are normal, but enter a crisis and they might just want to shift that cost to things like food and water or saving their necks, all while still holding out hope that they can dismember their child as soon as possible! Further still, we all know that when faced with a crisis, our primary desire will be to have relations with someone as soon as possible, so we will need contraception. After all, how mature is it to impregnate someone or become pregnant when our city is being reduced to ruins?

To run around giving away free abortions and free contraception while a city falls apart is to make two very defiant points. First, people have the absolute right to satisfy their lust no matter what is going on around them. Second, and following from the first premise, that lust and its satisfaction are more important than food, water, safety, and just about anything else. What a profound and revealing belief system!

A Little Historical Flavor

Suppose the present forces of modernism and secularism were present aboard the famous Titanic? How would these fools behave and react when faced with this most horrifying and tragic situation? Here are some suggestions based on the typical claims and motives of these people in most situations and Planned Parenthood during Katrina:

  • Imagine a bunch of people running around the deck of the Titanic handing out free contraceptives to screaming and terrified passengers just in case they should want to fool around before jumping on a lifeboat or sink to their deaths. What better example of consideration and concern for mankind?

  • How about a pack of radical feminists protesting the "women and children first" policy and demanding that women be treated the same as men? Perhaps these feminists could have volunteered to stay on board (a silver lining on a tragedy). It is likely that these women would have also made quick speeches on how marriage, the traditional family, and men had all combined to cause this tragedy.

  • I am sure that sodomites would have raced to the first few lifeboats declaring that it was unfair and bias to actually force many of them to die while non-sodomites were allowed to flee to safety. The 50 sodomites on the ship would have declared that actually most of the passengers were homosexual and dug up evidence that most of those who died were targeted because of their sexual orientation.

  • Ten atheists would have sued the crew and company of the ship over being "deeply offended" by the spontaneous periods of prayer and religious hymns as people faced death. After all, they would argue, does not one have a right to separation of church and state even while on the verge of separation of body and soul? One of the atheist leaders would even have declared " I do not know what was more disturbing to me…..freezing in ice cold water or being bombarded with prayers and religious imagery!" These people would not have rested until a judicial decree was made that, from now on, people could not pray or sing to their Creator when faced with death as such behavior might offend others!

  • Liberals led by a Hillary Clinton-like ghoul would have immediately called for an independent commission to investigate the role of conservatives and religious right forces in causing this tragedy. This ghoul would likely have made a speech from the main deck declaring "this ship is sinking beneath the weight of intolerance and extremist thinking" right before jumping into the nearest lifeboat.

  • Race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would have run around having press conferences around the ship declaring first that there were no enough people of color on the ship and then twisting the fact that poverty doomed many passengers into the assertion that race was the reason most people died. These fools would have then began prayer services to protest racial intolerance on the ship, to remember only minority victims, and chant "we shall overcome" and "no justice no peace".

  • Liberals and media types on the ship would have blamed the captain for everything if he was a conservative and, if he turned out to be liberal, they would have instead blamed the Queen of England, the President of The United States, and Christopher Columbus if possible.

  • Lastly, Planned Parenthood would have provided free abortions to any women who might want to cut out the second half of that "women and children" phrase. They would have argued that women in danger of drowning have a right to choose and, besides, a non-pregnant woman has a better chance of survival in such situations than a woman burdened by such things.

Conclusion

One of the most insidious and powerful traits of the poison of perdition is that it can intoxicate the mind to accept what was once ridiculous and reject what was once profound and intrinsic to being human. If all of the above situations would have been absurd in the North Atlantic of 1912, they should still be so today but, alas, sin has taken such a hold on this lost society that reason is out of season and sin is in.

The international signal for distress, SOS, later came to represent, among other things, "Save our Souls" but this lost society is the new Titanic and it is so steeped in its own sin that it is truly sinking in a sea of perdition, hypocrisy, arrogance, defiance, and delusion. There are many more souls at stake as this society sinks than were at risk in the cold waters of 1912 as Titanic sank, but the greatest tragedy is that this society's distress signal of SOS has been twisted from a plea to save souls into a defiant SATISFY OUR SIN.
