Dissent foments division and those who reject the discernment of the Church are only playing into satan's hands     In our editorial in this issue, we turn our attention to the Third "Secret" and Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger's commentary that accompanied it this past Monday. Why is it that the same people always read conspiracy into anything the Vatican says or does? We're talking about the objections of the Canadian renegade Father Nicholas Gruner and his paranoid group who accuse the Holy See of "whitewashing" the Messages of Fatima. How many realized that the Pope, the Curia, Sister Lucia and the Blessed Mother of God were all in cahoots, along with Russia, to cover-up the apocalyptic bent that Gruner and his cronies always read into? Rather than accepting the discernment of the Church, he attacks, and, in so doing, further erodes the confidence many have in authentic Private Revelation. With Gruner's exaggerated self-importance, we have a disgruntled priest who twists the truth to suit his sensationalistic interpretations and ego. We challenge Gruner to put to rest the whole issue as he said he would once Sister Lucia's original document was published. The Church said it! We believe it! That settles it! The evil one is gloating as the avenging angels of the aborted souls cry for the United States after the Supreme Court takes another step toward the abyss    In her column this week, Sister Mary Lucy Astuto rues the most recent ruling by the Supreme Court over the striking down of the Partial-Birth Abortion ban in her own home state of Nebraska. She laments that so many Catholics think they can be pro-choice and still be good Catholics. It is not possible because pro-choice means condoning murder and murder is a mortal sin both by the ones who commit it and those who knowlingly stand by and allow it. The guy driving the gettaway car is as guilty as the guy who pulls the trigger. They're all accomplices, just as those who vote for pro-abort candidates are accomplices to furthering the culture of death and turning their backs on God and His innocent ones. The avenging angels of these little ones, so cruelly ripped from their mother's wombs, will have their day. Right now they're weeping for America for we just don't get it! Satan may have won this battle, but his day will come when he tastes total defeat and is crushed beneath the heel of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
