"Let your weapon be Me, reverently received in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Arm yourself with frequent Confession and daily attendance at Holy Mass as often as you can! Pray much. Pray the Rosary, which is a powerful link to all heavenly aid." Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary Sacred and Merciful Heart of Jesus
Those words from Our Lord were imparted to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart on May 4, 1995 in which Jesus cautions against the growing violence, entreating His children not to carry weapons of destruction but to reverently arm ourselves with the Holy Eucharist and employ the strongest prayer weapon we have - the Holy Rosary for through these two "weapons" - the pillars of salvation, we will help hasten the Triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart. His Blessed Mother prefaces her Divine Son's words in her message on the Feast of her chaste earthly spouse by emulating the virtues of Saint Joseph the Worker and being faithful to the Church and the Vicar on earth Pope John Paul II and reverencing Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Famous quotes of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen Better to turn the other cheek!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the words of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen have been known to launch a thousand images in one's mind, one of the ways this late luminary did so much to evangelize the faith. Because of the urgency of the times and because few there are today who possess the wisdom, simplicity and insight than the late Archbishop who touched millions, we are bringing you daily gems from his writings. The good bishop makes it so simple that we have dubbed this daily series: "SIMPLY SHEEN".

"Gradually we see that it is far sadder to be a wrongdoer than to be the wronged one; the injurer is much more to be pitied than the injured."

What price peace? In the aftermath of the ethnic cleansing and the supposed-peace keepers scouring Kosovo for atrocities, they missed the fact that 300 Catholics were slaughtered by the Serbs and 70,000 Catholics forced to flee their homes with churches and monasteries pillaged and plundered. The report was filed by an eye-witness to it all - Father Ambroz Ukai, O.F.M., head friar of a Franciscan monastery in Djakovica, Kosovo. For more, click on Forgotten modern martyrs.

    Medjugorje Monthly Message
The Gospa's message for June    Dear children! Also today I rejoice with you and I call you all to prayer with the heart. I call all of you, little children, to give thanks to God here with me for the graces which He gives to you through me. I desire for you to comprehend that I want to realize here, not only a place of prayer but also a meeting of hearts. I desire for my, Jesus' and your heart to become one heart of love and peace. That is why, little children, pray and rejoice over everything that God does here, despite that satan provokes quarrels and unrest. I am with you and I lead you all on the way of love.
