Christ or chaos
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey continues with his special series for Holy Week. Today on the 1,970th anniversary of the Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we reflect on the everlasting impact of the wood - the wood of the manger, the feeding trough of life became the wood of the Cross - the feeding trough of everlasting life. Tom asks if we will stand with Him, walk with Him, suffer the scorn and scourgings, be nailed with Him to the Cross. Or will we cave to the crowd and join them in rejecting the One True God? How we respond could determine if we truly understand the glory of the Resurrection which awaits. Tom reflects in From Eden to the Empty Tomb Part Four: GOOD FRIDAY
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's thoughts for Good Friday, he reflects on the the Seven Last Words spoken by Christ on the Cross as recorded in the Gospels. The insight Father shares points to the indefectability of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and for the need to cling to the Truths and Traditions handed down and set in stone by the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church established upon the Rock of the Primacy of Peter. Even in these darkest of times when so many are in apostasy, we can take heart from Our Lord's Passion and Death for we know that hope is just around the corner for God will not fail us. We have His promise on that as Father Louis points out in his reflections on The Seven Last Words .
"Father, forgive them..."
Through the gracious permission of John Vennari, editor of Catholic Family News, we are bringing you John's piece that appeared in this month's issue of this excellent monthly Traditional newspaper. John asks what is going on when the Vatican officially recognizes a known heretic in the radical head of the Anglican Church Rowan Williams, one who has not only eschewed the Faith, but promotes sodomy and other sins that cry to the Lord for vengeance. John shows how the inmates are running the asylum with his eye-opening piece Building the Civilization of Love with Lunatics
White Smoke, Black Fire!
In the fifth episode of Chapter Ten of The Shrouding, Niki is trying to elude authorities looking for the stolen car while the insidious Elena Grabe has infiltrated the Vatican, posing as a replacement nun. A cautious Sister Bridie treads carefully for she can feel it in her bones, but can't pinpoint the real problem as the Basilisk's breath becomes stronger, more vapid in Part IV, Chapter Ten, Episode Five.

    Echoes of True Catholicism
Easter is the time when so many women insist on dressing to the nines so that they'll be seen in church. Nevermind the rest of the year, but on Easter they emerge from their shells because they want to be seen and heard, especially in Novus Ordo circles. The traditional custom of women humbly covering their heads whenever in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament has been abandoned except at Easter when pride covers their heads with whatever 'Easter bonnet' is in vogue. Sadly their headwear is not meant out of respect for Our Lord, but for their own vanity. Just as so many have shed virtue, so many women have shed modesty in favor of fashion which, more often than not is most offensive to God as Dr. Marian Therese Horvat traces the decline of customs, fashion and modesty in Questions on Fashion in Ladies' Dress .
    Pro Life Prescriptions
Dr. Frank Joseph, a Catholic physician and long one of the leading crusaders for the Sanctity of Life, warns the clarion that Iraq has seen nothing yet for the real destruction is soon to descend on Iraqi civilization - not in the loss of artifacts, but the true loss of civilization for abortion and contraception leads to death and non-procreation. That spells disaster and it's spelled Planned Parenthood. Dr. Frank explains the nefarious agenda of the devil's disciples as approved by the UN in his column The Real Invasion of Iraq Begins!

PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your Lenten reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Encyclicals and Papal Bulls which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs. It is obvious in CREDO & CULTURE

    Catholicism and the State
After briefly identifying the pagan, liberal and socialist states in the first installment of this series, Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey delves into the true concept of the Christian State. He quotes from The Framework of the Christian State by Father E. Cahill and the Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World by Father Denis Fahey. Both priests reference the Papal decrees of Popes Pius IX, Leo XIII, and Pius XI. Tom shows how the corruption spread because man's stubborn will refused to recognize the errors he was falling into even though they were pointed out so clearly by Pio Nino in his Syllabus of Errors. Tom explains how Catholic Social Order has been blotted out by the postconciliar church in Part Two The Christian Concept of the State
    Mass Confusion
We want to share with you an excellent article by Peter Miller, editor of the Seattle Catholic, in which he calls for a concordance between Traditional Catholics and Conservative, neo-Catholics for both have the restoration of the Mystical Body of Christ and the salvation of sous at heart. The ambiguities of Vatican II have caused mass confusion not only because of the drastic changes of the Mass, but because of the liberal agenda that, as he points out, began long before the 1960's. He stresses how it's time to stop bickering and unite against the real enemy of Holy Mother Church which has rendered her so vulnerable to the attacks because so few truly realize what went down before, during and after Vatican II. Common Ground on the Catholic Crisis

    Doctors of the Church
The twenty-third Doctor in this chronological series on the Doctors of the Church was a man full of "good fortune" from his earliest years. Humility was his virtue; his role model - the holy founder who named him. He followed this man, continuing the ideals of the Franciscans, guiding them during turbulent times when growing pains created problems in the ranks and with various ecclesial authorities opposed to the Friars Minor. This Universal Doctor was one of the first saintly Cardinals of the Church. He was close friends with "The Angelic Doctor" and the saintly king of France. He was the architect of the 2nd Council of Lyons and, fittingly, was called home by God immediately following completion of the Council. His work done on earth but continued through his writings and example; so much so that he is known as "The Seraphic Doctor." He was Saint Bonaventure.
    Catholic PewPOINT
While many might think Michael Cain's editorial this week deals with basketball and "March Madness," but the skirmish is not on the court. Rather on the battleground of souls where all the forces of hell wage battle for the souls of the just and unjust. While we rejoice at one soul saved, the fact so many are not should give all pause to reflect and pray and resolve to do their part as loyal members of the Church Militant in a time when so many have abandoned the ranks or weakened their flanks, allowing entrance to the enemy of the Triune Divinity. Cain explains the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" of it all in his editorial The March Madness of April's Fools!.
    The Germs of G.I.R.M.
In this issue we bring you part sixty-five of Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's well-received, thought-provoking series on G.I.R.M. warfare as he continues analyzing and commenting on the ambiguity and errors in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal Tom focuses on paragraphs 220 through 244 which continue to treat the whole issue of concelebration which in the Novus Ordo has taken away the true meaning and role of the "alter Christus" and replaced it with "altar Christi in the move to concelebration where the line is blurred so much that Joe and Sally church goers think they're concelebrating as well. In the innovative novelty world of the Novus Ordo there is ConCelebration Confusion

    FOCUS
Gary L. Morella, one of the most astute of Roman Catholic watchdogs in exposing the rot within the postconciliar church takes on one of the larger neo-Catholic organs - the National Catholic Register, specifically a commentary written by a J.P. Zmirak. Gary points out that Zmirak is confusing the role of Church and State. While Bush is deserving of criticism, what about John Paul II? Gary asks about the destruction of countless souls through a deconstruction of the faith by the very men the Pope appointed and his geo-political humanistic pandering to man, rather than to work toward establishing the Social Kingship of Christ. See Patriotism, Papolotry and Passivism toward Perdition
    On the BattleLine
Click on this picture of the Sistine Chapel for a larger view Atila Sinke Guimarães calls into question why John Paul II's "poetry" is getting such rave reviews for, when one peals off the layers, his preoccupation with nudity and evolution is troubling to say the least and the problem is that most neo-Catholics will take whatever he writes, including his Roman Triptych as gospel and be influenced thus into further diluting the One True Faith through this dumbing-down process in which they are subjected as Atila points out in his column Papal Poetry
    "Feed My sheep"
With Bush's war underway, Doctrina reveals prophets of the near past who could see what we have become as a civilization. We still have a free will, but our choices must be narrowed to only one direction: the narrow way; for that is the only way to save the soul. Those who fear for their physical and material welfare will feel the brunt of God's wrath. To those who fear for their soul, there is still time to make amends, but not much time for we know not the day nor the hour even though there has been a plethora of signs that we are in the End Times as explained in So You Don't Believe We're On The Eve of Destruction?
    Traditional Insights
Mario Derksen continues his multi-part series on the controversy that surrounds "the illicit Episcopal Ordinations of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." He responds to four more objections. Fourthly, he points out that a person must be guilty of a charged offense with unmitigated proof; Fifthly, Mario emphasizes that one cannot change the rules (Canon Law) in mid-stream; Sixthly, Mario explains that just because the Pope says there is "no state of necessity" does not mean there isn't. seventh objection Mario replies to those who give the Pope more power and authority than he rightly deserves for he is infallible only when speaking ex cathedra which, coincidentally over the past 40 years is, for all purposes: nada. Mario lays out the logic that refutes neo-Catholic claims in part seven of his series with the second of Objections and Replies: True Papal Authority and the Necessity of Keeping the Faith Alive.
Shears and Tears of a Lamb
With the Ides of March having just passed, Catharine Lamb responds to the vitriol that has erupted against Mel Gibson and his dad Hutton, both strong Traditional Catholics. She engages one reporter in particular with a firm "Et tu, Touché " in answering the writer's titled question "Does Mel Gibson have a Jewish Problem?" with "Does Bill Berkowitz have a Catholic Problem?" Catherine exposes the underbelly of the writer's intent with her column Provoking passions over "The Passion".
Appreciating the Precious Gift of our Faith
We continue with our catechesis series from My Catholic Faith, focusing on the seven little ways towards spiritual perfection which everyone can do - no exceptions. This is especially pertinent during this holy season of Lent and we'd all be wise to learn from the youngest and most recent Doctor of the Church St. Therese of the Child Jesus by doing the ordinary in an extraordinary way and always with Love. See the 285th installment: General Means of Perfection.
    Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei
Bishop Richard Williamson responds to those who smugly think two plus two don't have to add up to four anymore. The sum of the whole does not add up, leaving holes in not just some key truths. However if any truth is compromised, the entire equation is convoluted. His Excellency provides a parable of the "Delegation" trying to force "Back Ward" to accept the New Math. Of course he can't, just as any faithful Catholic cannot accept the Newisms of Vatican II as the Bishop points out in his letter Nice Rome Not Enough.

"The denial of Truth is just as fatal to the mind as the denial of light is to vision. Truth in its fullness is not easy to attain, even if one does admit its existence. To explore Truth in all its complexity there must come moments when we confess ignorance, when we frankly admit that we were mistaken or bigoted, or prejudiced. These admissions are painful, but they actually enrich character just as much as all approximations to falsehood forfeit it."             Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
