November is the Month of the Communion of Saints. The first day is dedicated to the Church Triumphant (All Saints), the second to the Church Suffering (All Souls); the rest of the month and year is up to us - the Church Militant - to do our part.
FEATURED IN TODAY'S ISSUE:

 Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei
Bishop Richard Williamson, in a stunning, and most encouraging letter to Traditional Catholics dated November 6th, lays out five points that illustrate the inevitable "end to the Newchurch cuckoo's occupying the Catholic Church nest." He also reveals what we first conveyed to you in Monday's editorial regarding the purported apparitions to the Pope this year, expressing the hope that Heaven could now be intervening to stop the humanist interlopers who have usurped Holy Mother Church. The Bishop reinforces the Society's desire to help by throwing lifelines of solid orthodoxy to those flailing in the swirling waters of novelty and ecumenism, but not to join a sinking ship for that would suck the Society down as well. He points to two recent literary breakthroughs, one by Atila Sinke Guimar„es, a regular contributing writer for The DAILY CATHOLIC, which indicate things are accelerating in the battle to preserve the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. Modern Rome wants Tradition to Transition. It cannot be so. There must be a Transition by Rome back to Tradition. That is the only way Truth will prevail as His Excellency relates in Truth Prevails, Times Five.
Traditional Thoughts
Today we present the second of a two part in-depth article, begun in Tuesday's issue and reprinted from this month's CATHOLIC FAMILY NEWS with the kind permission of editor John Vennari, who wrote this excellent essay on the insanity of adding five more mysteries to a tradition that needed no alterations. The Rosary is the last vestige of devotion that hadn't been tinkered with, but now, thanks to John Paul II's Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae released on October 16th this year, that too has the fingerprints of the Conciliarists. It is only too evident they have disregarded all Heaven has conveyed and what the Pope's predecessors from Leo X through Pius XII held as sacrosanct and untouchable. In this issue John addresses the noticeable absence of Fatima and Lepanto in RVM and the wise warning of Pope Saint Pius X in his Pascendi Dominici Gregis in the second part of Twenty Mysteries of the Rosary?.
SIMPLY SHEEN: Treasures from Bishop Sheen
The late, great Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen pointed out that throughout life we share the joy of the hosannas on Jesus's entrance into Jerusalem and the sad lows of His Passion and Death climaxed by the exhiliarting high of sharing the joys of the Risen Savior. These two spectrums of emotion evoke sympathy - sadness and joy. In one the pain is lessened and in the other the exhilaration amplified if we have someone to share our tears and laughter. If we can learn to understand what it is like to walk in another's shoes, then we will follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ in the manner He has asked us as Bishop Sheen explains in The Dual Countenances of Sympathy .
Profiles of the Saints & Seasons
Today is the Traditional Double Feast of the holy Confessor Saint Felix of Valois, who in growing up was placed under the close supervision of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux and Pope Innocent II. Along with St. John of Matha, he founded the Trinitarian Order which spread rapidly throughout France and was the precursor to the success the Order of Friars Minor would have. It is also the historical feast of St. Bernward, Bishop of Hildesheim, who died in 1193. For the Proper of the Mass of the day and profile, see Saint Felix of Valois

The Germs of G.I.R.M.
Tuesday we brought you part fifty-eight of Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's well-received, thought-provoking series on G.I.R.M. warfare as he continued analyzing and commenting on the ambiguity and errors in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal and the ICEL operatives who have contributed to promulgating this atrocity. He illustrated how G.I.R.M. has made fungible the Roman Rite which was established as a timeless fixed Rite, into a changeable, topical service where exterior actions, dictated by majority rule of whatever culture and political correctness are prominent at the time, take precedence over the interior, silent assistance of each soul at the "solemnity of the unbloody representation of Calvary." This and other abuses, Tom analyzed in paragraphs 139-142 of G.I.R.M. as he explained in A Fixed Rite Turned into a Fungible Fix .

White Smoke, Black Fire!
Gleaned from the daily headlines and Sacred Scripture, the on-line fictional novel "White Smoke, Black Fire!" deals with how the followers of the Anti-Christ, through political cunning, compromise and media manipulation, try to wrest control from within the Vatican after a horrific holocaust of terror at the birthplace of Abraham. As the world tries to recover, Corrie receives a call in Dallas that does not bode well for Pat's chances. Meanwhile in Rome various members of the Legion plot the next move and Riage Benziger struggles for his life as a prisoner inside Father Urazzi's office as he is grilled by Cardinals Macelli and Vendhem late into the night in their quest to find out where the real Pope is, whether dead or alive, in Chapter Nine, Episode One

HIGHLIGHTS FROM MONDAY'S ISSUE:

Catholic PewPOINT
In Monday's commentary, editor Michael Cain questioned how anyone in their right mind, especially Catholics, cannot see the implosion that is happening and why the nominal Novus Ordo Missae or NOM of Paul VI can never replace the eternal sacrifice. How far it has veered from that concept is apparent for the NOM that was foisted on the faithful over three decades ago has greatly affected the principle of Lex orandi, lex credendi. Whether neo-Catholics want to admit it or not, the religion that has risen from the ashes of Vatican II is not Roman Catholic but rather the religion of Baal! He pointed out that 33 Years of novelty and innovation, heresy and herding, ransacking and ravaging the disciples and disciplines of the Church is quite enough, thank you. It is time to put a stop to the nom de guerre that is the New Order...the New Mass...the Novus Ordo Missae...the NOM. For the sake of all that is holy, he prays and encourages a return to the Tried and True! Tridentine True! He explained in his editorial The 'New Order' is in Total Disorder!.

On the BattleLine
Monday Atila Sinke Guimar„es weighed in with his perspective of events last week and over the weekend which might very well have flown beneath the radar of the major media. Often many do not see the 'game' that is really being played. The USCCB Fall Conference in Washington D.C. has just finished up. Despite the saccharine spin the American Bishops tried to put on the new revisions, the truth is the Charter of Dallas' contritional tone has changed to a more defiant tone of pharasaic indignation as these chameleon American prelates, in scrambling to blame somebody, are spinning out of control with excuses. To take the heat off, they're trying to set up an expiatory goat to butt heads with. Meanwhile in Brazil, subversive political and ecclesiastical leaders are leaning farther left in pointing an accusatory finger at the U.S. He explained in The Blame Game.
"Qui legit, intelligat"
Father Louis Campbell cited the joy that is expressed in the Epistle and Gospel for the Proper of the 26th Sunday After Pentecost. That joy is in knowing that no matter what the modern Church might change or say, we can be assured that God will not abandon us, but protect His Church through the guidance of the Mother of the Church - the Blessed Virgin Mary who will never steer us wrong for she is the Woman of the Apocalypse. God provides for us as He did for Mary the "two wings of the great eagle" so that we too may fly away into the wilderness of prayer, to return to the bosom of Holy Mother Church in order to protect us from the wiles of satan, allowing us to refresh before engaging in battle again against the principalities and wickedness on high. That was the essence of his sermon "The Wings of an Eagle.
Doctors of the Church
The sixteenth Doctor in this chronological series on the Doctors of the Church is the illustrious ornament of the Anglo-Saxon Church and its first historian. Considered the Father of English History, he was the first to date events as in the "Year of Our Lord" - Anno Domini (A.D.). Considered a Father of the Church, this man is one of the few among the saints who is called Venerable. He was the Benedictine Saint Bede the Venerable.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THIS PAST WEEKEND'S ISSUE:

Traditional Insight
Mario Derksen continued his series on the controversy that surrounds "the illicit Episcopal Ordinations of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." In part two, Mario presented factors that occurred in May of 1988 as he begins to lay the groundwork for the background that will show there was No Schism or Excommunication On or Immediately After June 30, 1988. He showed how the archbishop, after cooperating fully in signing a Protocol Agreement with Rome, was then coerced by Vatican operatives to sign a letter which varied greatly from what had priorly been agreed upon in dialogue with Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. This Lefebvre could not sign. Mario referenced why in the archbishop's own words which he conveyed to his priests in Paris at St. Nicolas du Chardonnet after signing the original general Protocol Agreement. But this document was only a prelude to the shenanigans and doublespeak Rome would perform in cornering the one man who knew something was terribly wrong. This mechanization by Rome was, as Mario explained the ol' Bait and Switch!.

Christ or chaos
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey completed his two part reflection with part two of a Catholic explanation of the "Just War Theory." He asked just what constitutes a just war and how does it correspond with what the great Doctors of the Church asserted. With the situation of war with Iraq more dangerous than ever, he pointed out that rumors of war may stir emotions, but do the major principals and populace really understand the principles of justification? He doubts this as illustrated in part two that "as long as people and their nations make war upon God and His Holy Church by means of their unrepentant sins, then all use of armed hostilities, no matter the justice of the cause at issue, will fail to provide any true security for any nation or for the world" as he explained in part two of The Real Enemies Are Within .

"The denial of Truth is just as fatal to the mind as the denial of light is to vision. Truth in its fullness is not easy to attain, even if one does admit its existence. To explore Truth in all its complexity there must come moments when we confess ignorance, when we frankly admit that we were mistaken or bigoted, or prejudiced. These admissions are painful, but they actually enrich character just as much as all approximations to falsehood forfeit it."              Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
