I'm not really too happy with Dick Cheney right now. The same goes for all pro-life politicians, who
continue to use the word “abortion” when being interviewed for the mass
media, or in any discussion. They are so afraid to tell the truth and say
“the killing of unborn babies.”
First, let me tell you how it all started and why my blood is boiling.
Vice-president Cheney was on the Larry King TV show this past Friday.
They were discussing the passage of the “Unborn Victims of Violence Act,”
in the House, by a vote of 252 to 172.
By the way, 53 Democrats had the courage to break ranks with the
majority of their party and admit that these babies are indeed human beings
and do have rights. 25 of them were Catholic Democrats no less!
I wonder if their political careers are over, since it is a well known fact
that to climb the ladder in the Democratic party, you had better view
prenatal babies as nothing but a blob of tissue.
Remember the switching of Al Gore? Poor Gore, if he would have
remained pro-life, he would now be our president. It doesn’t pay to
mock God.
King asked Cheney, “Is abortion high on the administration’s list?"
Cheney answered, “The president and I have both made it clear during
the course of the campaign that we support the pro-life position. We are
opposed to abortions. The president has made it clear as well during the
campaign and the way he has conducted himself since, that we hope
to be able to reach across the aisle and try to reduce the incidences of
abortions. There ought to be areas out there, where those who are
pro-life as well as those who are pro-choice, ought to be able to come
together in certain areas -- perhaps here for example -- given the vote in
the House and find ways to deal with these issues.”
They then went on to other issues, which I won’t bore you with, since
you can lump them all together and they would still not be as important
as saving the lives of millions of human beings every years.
If Cheney really wanted to reduce the number of prenatal babies being
killed, this should have been his response to King’s question: "Is abortion
high on the administration’s list?"
All the words will be Cheney’s, except for a few changes. Changes that
will be the truth and WILL win over those who are on the fence to become
pro-life and who knows, maybe even some of the die-hard pro-choicers
-- that's if they possess one shred of common decency in their entire body.
Cheney’s statement with my changes:
“The president and I have both made it clear during the course of the
campaign that we ARE pro-life. We are definitely opposed to the killing
of unborn babies. The president has made it clear as well during the
campaign and the way he has conducted himself since, that we hope to
be able to reach across the aisle and try to reduce the incidences of killing
God’s precious children.
“There ought to be areas out there, where those who are pro-life, as well
as those who are pro-choice, ought to be able to come together in certain
areas -- perhaps here for example -- given the vote in the House and find
ways to deal with the “culture of death.”
After all 53 Democrats, have come over to the side of honoring the sanctity
of human life, on the passage of the ‘Unborn Victims of Violence Act,’ so
there is hope for ALL babies, who are killed in their mother’s womb.
“Imagine, Larry, if there were legalized abortions when you were born, the
odds are 1 to 3 that you wouldn’t be sitting there right now, since almost
one-third of all babies are killed -- 98% for convenience sake -- 1.4 million
a year. Over 40 million since Roe Vs Wade in 1973. The past administration
didn’t even care if babies were killed, while they were being born and suffer
excruciating pain -- partial-birth abortions. I ask you Larry, is this the
sign
of a civilized society?
“President Bush and I are also concerned about the complications of
abortions. Time does not permit to list all of them, but there is one that
stands out and that is the increased risk of breast cancer.
13 of 15 studies done in the United States and 27 of 34 worldwide have
shown the risk. We are going to find out why Planned Parenthood and
all the other abortion clinics do not warn women of this risk prior to
killing
their babies.
You see Larry, unlike the prior administration, we ARE concerned about
women’s health and we ARE going to do something about it.”
THIS, is what vice-president Cheney should have said. It really doesn’t
take any “guts.” It’s the truth. Now, maybe there’s something I don’t
know,
why these supposedly pro-life politicians don’t want to discard the word,
“abortion,” and start telling the truth, which INCLUDES all of the facts.
Most people do NOT know them and certainly the pro-abort Democrats
are NOT going to tell them.
Is it possible some pro-life politicians don’t want to hurt the feeling of their pro-choice
opponents? They need to expose the party that claims to be the party of the weak and downtrodden,
but in truth is a party that promotes the “culture of death” and doesn’t give a darn
about the most weak and downtrodden of all -- prenatal babies, who are
waiting to be born. They would sooner save a tree, animal or fish.
Is it possible that is why the bishops have not taken a more active role, because they don't want to hurt the feelings of pro-abort 'Catholics'?
The Democratic party (90% are pro-aborts) will support the weak and
downtrodden, ONLY if it doesn’t interfere with their way of life, or
doesn’t hurt their main financial supporters, Planned Parenthood, who
kill the weak, NARAL, who promotes the killing of the weak, the
Hollywood filth industry, NOW, the National Organization of [pro-abort]
Women.
I honestly believe that ALL of the above organizations do NOT believe in God, 100%.
-- maybe 0 - 30%. No one can say that a woman should have the right
to kill her prenatal baby, if she so chooses and in the next breath say that
they are 100% sure that there is a God. IMPOSSIBLE.
To be pro-choice is to condone and propagate a sin/evil. To condone and
propagate a sin of this magnitude -- the killing of human beings, you will
never enter into the kingdom of Heaven. They can't say they didn't know better
because the entire pro-life campaign has made it perfectly clear that abortion is murder.
Is it possible that pro-choicers are so misguided that they think this earth
IS their Heaven and all inconveniences, even human life, should be eliminated
for their good? To hear the wacky environmentalists speak one can be led to that assumption.
Have you noticed how those who are so concerned for the welfare of the animals - PETA, Greenpeace,
etc. are the first ones to call for the woman's right to abort her child? Have they forgotten
God's words in Genesis 1: 26-28? "God said, 'Let Us make mankind in our image and likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, over all the wild animals and every creature that crawls on the earth.' God created man in Hi image. In the image of God He created him. Male and female He created them. Then God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.'"
Those are powerful words which refute all pro-choicers for the choice is not theirs but God's: "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it."
