Pro-aborts have made violable that which is viable!
From the depths of the ocean to the highest stratosphere, man wouldn't be so "viable" if he had to live by the standards pro-aborts set! Those who dismiss God's natural law will offer every excuse in the book and then some to rationalize the sin of abortion as "viable" when, in fact, it is definitely "violable!" Do they know the etimology of the two words? The former comes from the Latin vita which means "Life!"? The latter threatens it.
Today, Dr. Frank Joseph exposes the lies and excuses pro-aborts conjure up to rationalize that abortion is not murder. They falsely assume that since a fetus cannot live outside of the mother's womb then it cannot be a human being. From this twisted logic to twisting semantics to fit their agenda they cling to deceiving and legislating the sin of murder, hiding behind the fact that it is "legal" to abort. But is it really? Dr. Frank lays out a few analogies that truly show the fallacy of this logic and the error of the Supreme Court which is beholden to a Higher Court and the Almighty Judge. Are we better off without the Baltimore Catechism?
That is a good question for in that excellent compendium of truths, there were no doubts as to where the Church stood, and where you were to stand in obedience to God's Holy Will. Today? Many are foisting their will on others masquerading as being what the Church teaches. Check again! Those who truly know their Faith will see through the facade and keep the Faith!
In her inspirational column today, Cyndi Cain completes the second of two parts on asking what happened to the Faith our parents and grandparents were raised on. If not for a small remnant it might be totally lost, but, now even Rome is turning to this remnant to help revive the Church which is badly in need of a transfusion of a "back-to-basics" approach to our Faith. For woe these past thirty plus years things have only gotten worse. Yet, so many bishops continue their "see no evil, hear no evil" ostrich-in-the sand mentality and allow the abuses to continue. What is the answer? Cyndi believes in her heart that we need to turn back to basics, to what was taught to the faithful for centuries. That was the tenets the saints were weaned on - the Latin Mass and the catechetic fundamentals of absolutes. Contrary to what many might believe, the Catholic Church was not founded in 1965 after Vatican II. Today she points out how the abuses in the Novus Ordo just continue to get worse, while the Latin Mass has continued to maintain the essence of reverence and absoluteness that has sustained the Church for centuries. Which one would you pick if you had a choice? Her prayer is that more will have that choice for the sake of their spiritual well-being, for the sake of restoring the Church to the higher sanctity she was founded upon and to promote until the end of all time. For part two of her column A Return to Basics is Fundamental to our Faith see SYMPHONY OF SUFFERING
Cardinal Bernard Law: We implore you to call Massachusetts Congressman William Delahunt to task for his unyielding pro-abortion stance as well as all those Democratic congressmen and senators under your jurisdiction.

Today's "Herod's Hero" is the Democratic Representative in the United States House from Massachusett's 10th District Congressman William D. Delahunt. We call on him to repent and for his shepherd in Boston Cardinal Bernard Law along with his colleague in the Conclave Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Delahunt's shepherd in Washington, D.C., to issue the ultimatum of the "Bell, Book, and Candle" if he will not hear even the Church. We beg of the Bishops, to stand up for the Roman Catholic Church, to exact the discipline all Catholics are expected to follow. By Delahunt's 100% pro-abortion record during his one term in the House, he has turned away from God by showing a disdain for Catholic doctrine and being a willing accomplice to satan. We implore him to amend his ways, to turn away from embracing the pro-abort stance with no mercy for the lives of millions of unborn. Pope to Priests: Confession still in vogue! The people need it! Use it!
Holy Father releases annual Holy Thursday Letter to the Priests
The Holy Father focused on rediscovering the power of the confessional in his yearly letter to the 404,560 priests worldwide, for Holy Thursday. At the beginning of his letter, the Pope stresses that the rediscovery of the sacrament of reconciliation was, perhaps, one of the most important fruits of the Holy Year. For more, see News from ROME

The man with 40 billion dollars has funded a great deal toward the deaths of 40 million unborn
He's called the "Oracle of Omaha" but we'd call him the "Aborter of millions." He is Warren Buffet, the financial wiz whose temporal coffers exceed $40 billion. Here's a man who could do so much good, raised in the heartlands, his heart is of stone for he is trying to keep up with the Gates and the Turners in seeing how much he can contribute to the culture of death. He has footed a hefty part of the expense to get the RU-486 abortion pill through the FDA and onto drug shelves in America. What a price he is paying! It's a known fact you can't buy salvation, but the way he's spending his bucks he should realize he's locking up some hot real estate forever - as in hellfire hot!

  Oh, Canada!!!
When it comes to Canadian television, the network execs will choose porn over purity; smut and muck over Mother Angelica! And they wonder why there's so many problems north of the border?
If you think Canada isn't in a sorry state, listen to this: "EWTN, the largest religious broadcasting service in the
world, applied at the same time as Playboy four years ago.
Though Playboy was accepted on the first round of
applications, EWTN is in need of support to be licensed
now. The CRTC felt it necessary to protect Canadians not
from disturbing pornographic images, but from programming
that is based on the moral values and principals upon which
Canada was founded." For more, see Universal News

  THIRD STATION OF THE CROSS
On Good Friday in 2000, the Holy Father led the Via Crucis meditations with his own words while leading the faithful on the traditional Papal Way of the Cross. His deep spirituality, renewed by a spontaneous visit to Mount Calvary within the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre during his "Jubilee Journey" to the Holy Land last year is an inspiration we want to share with our readers. Therefore, now in Passiontide, we continue daily one Station of the Cross at a time leading up to Holy Saturday. It is important to drink in the meditative treasures of each one day at a time. The eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth will be featured in our Good Friday issue with none on Palm Sunday. For the Third Station by His Holiness, see Papal Way of the Cross
Anniversary of the Deaths of the Formosan Pope and the First Franciscan Pope
Today is the anniversary of the death of two Sovereign Pontiffs, one Pope Formosus, the 111th successor of Peter, died on this date in 896 after a five year papacy best remembered for converting the Bulgarians to Christianity. The other is Pope Nicholas IV, the 191st in the line of Peter and the first Franciscan Pope ever whose claim to fame during his four year pontificate was strengthening the missions, bringing order to the Court of Portugal and promoting scholasticism. He died in 1292. For other Time Capsule events that happened Today in Church history, see Daily TIME CAPSULES in Church History
Not knowing the absolutes of goodness have got us into the mess we're in!
"Democracy today finds it hard to make up its mind on what is right. Communism, on the contrary, made up its mind on what was wrong. All its passions were devoted to evil. Evil today is starting the fires that are burning down the world. Leadership in democracies today cannot be expected to come out of the ashes of spineless indifference."
