The Sanhedrin has spoken!
The Sewage of the Rhine has flowed into the Tiber, tainting the holy waters of Holy Mother Church and trying to submerge the Barque of Peter as mutineers rise from the gallows of modernism
In our very lengthy commentary today we continue our walk with Jesus. Today we follow Him from His grilling before the Scribes and Pharisees of the Sanhedrin to the foot of the Cross where He willingly gives of Himself for us. All the while those who seek to undermine Him and the Church He founded work behind the scenes, rising up through the ranks rapidly in order to sit on the Sanhedrin today - the Roman Curia where they hope to assuage Pope John Paul II to forsake the narrow way and join them in a one-world church that compromises the very principles Christ died for. Three of those who seek to lure the Pope off the Barque of Peter are the newest cardinals of the Church pictured above, left to right Cardinal Karl Lehmann, Cardinal Walter Kasper, and Cardinal Mario Francesco Pompedda. Their resistance to stay the Traditions are a red flag that should alert all red-hats of their agenda and especially the one who wears the white hat. As we officially enter the first Pascal Triduum of the Third Millennium, we should be mindful that the Church itself stands before the worldly judges. The only verdict we must accept is the way that leads to Calvary. It is the only choice in order that we can be assured of reaping the rewards of the Resurrection. There can be no glory without the Cross. For the third and final part of this editorial trilogy for Holy Week, The Judases among us!, see CATHOLIC PewPOINT
After nearly 40 years of experimentation and deconstruction, we can see that the Latin Mass is the only way out of the desert of malaise!
" In the midst of instability and discontinuity, the stability provided by the Traditional Latin Mass, celebrated according to the 1962 Missal, is providing many Catholic families with the fullest expression of the faith available today in the Roman rite. To move traditional Catholics in the direction of the 1965 Ordo Missae is merely a means to try to do away once and for all with the Mass in which Christ was clearly recognized as King and Our Lady was honored boldly as our Queen. "
In today's issue Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D. completes his enlightening, if not jolting series on what has happened to the stability that was equated with Holy Mother Church for centuries. Because of its importance and this time of the year when we willingly walk with Christ on the way to Calvary, we have been bringing you his treatise Stability of Worship Results in Endurance in Faith daily. What Dr. Droleskey speaks is fact, backed up by Catholic doctrine. Read it carefully and call on the Holy Spirit to guide you in realizing how far we have strayed from true Roman Catholic teaching. For the sixth part of his column, "Ecclesia Dei" motu proprio in 1988 was meant to afford stability, see CHRIST or chaos

The Hour of Horrors!
Nailed to the Cross and in the womb over 40 million times! When will we learn enough is enough!?!
This is where legalized abortions have led our once civilized society. Can
there be any doubt that we have become a country of barbarians. Does the
precious baby between Our Lord and His Sorrowful Mother look like a lump of tissue, as Planned Parenthood and all the
other abortion mills tell the mothers?
Today, Dr. Frank Joseph walks the way of Calvary with Christ and the 40 million who have been crucified in the womb through the terrible sin of abortion. Since Americans have been conditioned to violence and gore, the pictures he shares shouldn't shock them. If they do, then he has accomplished one fact. You still have an ounce of decency left and there is hope. He's especially hopeful that those who until now have condoned abortion, those until now have failed to realize what they are doing by saying it's okay, those bishops, chancery workers and Catholics who until now feel no guilt for being pro-choice, will truly see the error or their ways in the horror of the photos. Archbishop Patrick Flores: We implore you to call Texas Congressman Ciro Rodriguez to task for his unyielding pro-abortion stance.

Today we continue to ferret out the hypocritical and Democratic (isn't that an oxymoron?) congressmen from the state of Texas. We feature the second of the worst offenders today and will resume this series on Easter Monday in deference to the Easter Triduum. Today's "Herod's Hero" is the Democratic Representative in the United States House from Texas' 28th District, the Honorable Ciro D. Rodriguez. There's nothing honorable about how he, as a 'Catholic,' has promoted the culture of death. We call on him to repent and for his shepherd in San Antonio Bishop Patrick Flores along with Rodriguez' shepherd in Washington D.C. Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, to issue the ultimatum of the "Bell, Book, and Candle" if he will not hear even the Church. We beg of the Bishops, to stand up for the Roman Catholic Church, to exact the discipline all Catholics are expected to follow. By Rodriguez' 100% pro-abortion record during his two terms in the House, he has turned away from God by showing a disdain for Catholic doctrine and being a willing accomplice to satan. We implore him to amend his ways, to turn away from embracing the pro-abort stance with no mercy for the lives of millions of unborn. For another betrayer who seeks to perpetuate the culture of death and slay the innocents, see HEROD'S HEROES

We will resume our up-to-date News on Tuesday, April 17th issue with a new format that will bring you even more news. For this week, we recommend sources we rely on. Wednesday in Holy Week
Today's liturgy from Matthew 26 should move us to recommit to being loyal to Christ and strive to follow His teachings handed down through the ages in the great Deposit of the Faith. Despite the desert we find ourselves in with the atrocities and inaction of so many of our leaders in the world and the Church, we must not abandon our role as the Church Militant. We must stay the course so that we can be assured we will not betray our dear Lord as Judas did and so many modern Judases do today.
When we give in to the world's ways, when we blame everyone but ourselves we
are contributing to the purse that betrayed Christ. We make ourselves no better than the Iscariot. Let us not be the ones whom like Judas said "Surely it is not I, Rabbi" and then hear the fateful words of Jesus confirming our worst fear: "It is you who have said it" (Matthew 26: 25).
Tomorrow we begin the Paschal Triduum with Holy Thursday, the day Christ established the Most Blessed Sacrament. For these liturgies, see Daily LITURGY

"Take and eat; this is My Body...All of you drink of this; for this is My Blood of the New Covenant, which is being shed for many unto the forgiveness of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I shall drink it new with you in the Kingdom of My Father." Matthew 26: 26, 27-29
  EIGHTH STATION OF THE CROSS
On Good Friday in 2000, the Holy Father led the Via Crucis meditations with his own words while leading the faithful on the traditional Papal Way of the Cross. His deep spirituality, renewed by a spontaneous visit to Mount Calvary within the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre during his "Jubilee Journey" to the Holy Land last year is an inspiration we want to share with our readers. Therefore, now in Holy Week, we resume daily one Station of the Cross at a time leading up to Holy Saturday. It is important to drink in the meditative treasures of each one day at a time. The eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth will be featured in our Good Friday issue. For the Ninth Station by His Holiness, see Papal Way of the Cross
The Blessed and Incorrupt Pope leaves us a legacy for "Peace on Earth"
On this 495th anniversary of the day construction began on St. Peter's Basilica in 1506 under the direction of Pope Julius II, we remember an encyclical issued 457 years later by one of Julius' distant successors and a Pope we all came to know as "Il Papa" - Blessed Pope John XXIII. It was on this date 38 years ago in 1963 that John, who was beatified last year on September 3rd and whose body has been found to be incorrupt, released his eighth and final encyclical Pacem in terris. It was his signature on establishing universal peace in truth, justice, charity and liberty. Sadly he would be called home later less than two months later.

Socializers' denial of morality and virtue make their world darker.
"If socializers' behavior were better, they would be truly religious people and do much good for society. They look for a cause which will leave them alone with their individual vices. They swallow the devil's line also because its anti-religious character satisfies their desire to expunge from the world all ideas of morality and virtue, the infractions against which have made them so uneasy in the dark."
