SUNDAY

On December 10th, the Second Sunday of Advent, we bring you Pope John Paul II's most recent address from his regular Wednesday General Papal Audience in which he told 30,000 huddled in a brisk St. Peter's Square that for the faithful, "the Kingdom is Grace." His Holiness expressed that "the Kingdom is the effective but mysterious action that God carries out in the universe and in the tangle of human events." He also emphasized, "With the Gospel of the Kingdom, Christ links Himself to the sacred Scriptures, which, through the royal image, celebrate the lordship of God
over the cosmos and history.
