Pro-Life Prescriptions:

Choose Life!

Keep it pumping!

Photo of unborn child Samuel Armas grasping doctor's finger by Michael Clancy We have the choice to keep the heart pumping by placing our hearts with God and aligning our free will with His Holy Will or we can choose to forever silence the heart by choosing to kill it in conscious direct disobedience to God's Laws.

The pro-abort plot of the Scribes and Pharisees is about to be foiled and they're not taking it nicely. Expect an all out assault against Pro-Life and George W. Bush, the standard bearing hope in the government sector for those who uphold the Sanctity of Life.

In today's issue, Dr. Frank Joseph points out that we are all pro-choice. That is because God has given each of His children a free will. We are free to choose good or evil. By choosing the former - good, we are acting in unison with the Divine Will and helping assure ours and others' eternal salvation. By choosing the latter - evil, we are acting contrary to God's Laws and paving the path to hell for ourselves and many others! When will we learn the difference? Those are questions Dr. Frank asks as he exposes the lies and deceits of pro-abort spinsters from the Clinton-Gore administration to Planned Parenthood to the Hollywood muckrakers to the liberal media meisters. What it all comes down to is that everyone has a choice, and we will ultimately be held accountable for the choices we make. No court, no revote, no contest, no spin, no whining, no manufacturing or manipulating will change the outcome which we determine by our moral actions here on earth. The choice is simple: Choose Life! For Dr. Joseph's column Beware of the Scribes and Pharisees, they go by the name of Pro-choice , see Pro-Life Prescriptions: LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born, I dedicated you."

    Jeremiah 1: 5

We are grateful to the artist Shannon Wirrenga (701-255-7312) for permission to use the phenomenal and touching original painting above of Jesus smiling at a newborn babe full of life, a life that He allows. It is appropriately titled "I Knew You," taken from Jeremiah 1: 5. No entity, matter or energy can exist without God and He alone gives and takes life. Life is the most precious gift we have been given. That is why we dedicate this section to the Sanctity of Life for so few realize the treasures it holds from conception to the grave.

Because the Pro-Life movement is so important to all Catholics, we are also very pleased to announce our association with PRO-LIFE COMMUNICATIONS, a telecommunications firm owned and operated by Joseph and Jane Dalton of St. Charles, Missouri. They are both devoted, staunch Catholics who have dedicated their lives to the Pro-Life cause for the sake of His little ones. We can't endorse their company and benefits enough. In addition, when you abandon AT&T, MCI, Sprint and all those others who contribute to abortion causes, you will not only be receiving better rates and people you can actually talk to rather than the ol' runaround, but for every person who signs up Pro-Life Communications will donate 100% of the net profits to help keep the DAILY CATHOLIC on line. It's a win-win-win situation that God richly blesses. It is not only a necessity to continue this ministry, but it's a necessity that every reader has the peace of mind of being with a phone company that is truly Pro-Life. We pray everyone will realize the need to make this commitment to help eradicate the culture of death.

The elections are over, but the battle for life is not. We cannot give up the fight. Please continue to pray for the Sanctity of Life and pray for those pro-abort candidates who were elected that they will have a conversion of heart and recognize the evil of their ways. Remember, nothing is impossible with God. We encourage you to go to the Pro-Life links below to keep up to date on the great battle between life and death - the Sanctity of Life vs. the culture of death led by pro-abort candidates and those who would advance murder, immorality, sodomy, perjury, etc.

Lord, give us courage through the prayers of St. Lucy. As we celebrate her entrance into eternal glory, we ask to share her happiness in the life to come.

The DAILY WORD
Taken from the Gospel for Wednesday's Mass

"Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden light."

Matthew 11: 29-30
Advent Daily Novena Prayer for the Second Wednesday of Advent

St. Joseph, your work has brought barely enough income for you and Mary, and you have made what you can from your carpenter's shop to provide for the care of the Child Jesus. You see that Mary is in good health and you are relieved, yet you, too, desired to provide for her. Help us, St. Joseph, to realize that God is our Father and desires also to provide for us His children, if only we allow Him. By our obedience may we shun the wickedness of the world, all its glitter and false promises, and rely only on our Heavenly Father for our every need.

Events that happened Today in Church History

Pope Paul IIICouncil of Trent in the remote mountains of Northern Italy     Today is the 455th anniversary of the Opening of the landmark 19th Ecumenical Council, better known as the Council of Trent called by Pope Paul III, the 220th successor in the line of Peter. Besides officially approving the Jesuits, Paul III is best known for begining the Counter Reformation with this carefully planned and effective Council held in the northern mountains of Italy for both protection and concentration. The Council would end 18 years later after 25 sessions, numerous interruptions, and four Popes later as Pope Pius IV brought it to a conclusion on December 4, 1563. Famous quotes of Bishop Fulton J. SheenTolerance can take its toll
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the words of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen have been known to launch a thousand images in one's mind, one of the ways this late luminary did so much to evangelize the faith. Because of the urgency of the times and because few there are today who possess the wisdom, simplicity and insight than the late Archbishop who touched millions, we are bringing you daily gems from his writings. The good bishop makes it so simple that we have dubbed this daily series: "SIMPLY SHEEN".

"Tolerance is not right when its basic principle is a denial of truth and goodness and when it asserts that it makes no difference whether murder is a blessing or a crime, or whether a child should be taught to steal or to respect the rights of others."
