The Vultures of Vulgarity, Vanity and Vice are circling as they wait to devour the rotting carcass of America - victim of the culture of death!

In today's issue Dr. Frank Joseph gives his take on the Democratic choice for Vice President Senator Joseph Lieberman and exposes him for the fraud he and his Democrat cohorts are. While the pro-choicers, also known as pro-aborts, and therefore, pro-death advocates are extolling the "virtues" of this supposedly Orthodox Jew, the true picture is of a party that represents a rotting carcas as the vultures of vulgarity, vice and vanity circle above waiting to rip whatever decent flesh still exists in America and the Democratic Party, the party that once championed the cause of Catholic values and now no longer does. As those promoting the culture of death masquerade behind the "conscience of the senate" and millions more unborn are mercilessly slaughtered in the womb, we must be encouraged by Proverb 10: 7, "The memory of the just will be blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot." Besides prayer the only other encouraging action we can take to save the children, is to actively campaign for pro-life candidates at every level and vote out those pro-aborts who say "it's for the children and family" in one breath and the next kill off any chance of future generations of children by pushing abortion. It's a contradiction that flies in the face of God! For Dr. Joseph's column The party line that leads to hell!, see Pro-Life Prescriptions: LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!

No more Blood and Gore!!

We encourage you to go to the Pro-Life links below to keep up to date on the great battle between life and death - the Sanctity of Life vs. the culture of death led by pro-abort candidates and those who would advance immorality, sodomy, perjury, etc. We refer you to our HOMEPORT ENTRY PAGE where you will find a typograph of a chalice, a chalice overflowing with the innocent blood of the aborted babies nearing 40 to 50 million. Enough is enough! The story and our purpose is outlined in this typograph and for more information and why we will not give up, see DEFEND LIFE Pray and urge others to VOTE FOR LIFE!

Cardinal Francis Arinze Vatican sends Cardinal Arinze into valley of the culture of death

Some find it strange that a Cardinal of the Catholic Church would be in the company of Swamis, Buddhist monks, Inca Indians with woollen tunics and hats with bells, ministers of all the religions of the planet, at a meeting sponsored by the United Nations in New York. To make matters worse, the Millennium Summit on World Peace is partially bankrolled by Ted Turner's U.N. Foundation, "Better World Fund." Turner, who once said that Christianity was "for losers," will give the keynote address. more

Did you know Brazil is now part of New York? According to Hillary Clinton it is!
New YorkBrazil    Should anyone be surprised that the "Queen mother of the culture of death" Hillary Clinton, who is supposed to be just running for the senate in New York, is now aiming her venomous intentions to the far reaches of Brazil in promising to kill more innocent unborns. This modern-day Herodias, who demands the heads of the unborn on a platter by pushing for legalized abortion in Brazil, will get stiff competition from the Church if she makes good on her promise to join feminist organizations in this sprawling Portuguese-spoken land, the largest country in South America. more

Events that happened Today in Church History

Saint Rose of Lima    Today is the 329th anniversary of the canonization of the first saint of the New World when Pope Clement X officially elevated Saint Rose of Lima to sainthood on this date in 1671. Over a century before the United States was established, the 239th successor of Peter paved the way for many more saints to follow St. Rose, who was born in Peru in South America. She had learned the faith from Spanish missionaries who brought Jesus to the New World. These included Saint Martin de Porres, Saint Turibus, Saint Francis Solano and Saint John Macias. It was through her prayers and belief in the Blessed Sacrament that the Dutch threat evaporated in the harbor of Lima. Rose died at the age of 31 and became legendary in her city for miracles and cures and she was greatly venerated. This eventually reached Rome and fifty-five years after her death, Clement canonized this Dominican religious. Famous quotes of Bishop Fulton J. SheenThe highest crown glitters with fidelity!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but the words of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen have been known to launch a thousand images in one's mind, one of the ways this late luminary did so much to evangelize the faith. Because of the urgency of the times and because few there are today who possess the wisdom, simplicity and insight than the late Archbishop who touched millions, we are bringing you daily gems from his writings. The good bishop makes it so simple that we have dubbed this daily series: "SIMPLY SHEEN".

"Take the most sublime acts of love that is possible in this world, namely dying as a martyr rather than deny the God of Love. Never in history have there been as many martyrs as there are today. The martyrdoms of the first 250 years of Christian history are trivial in comparison to the unnumbered heroes of the soul who have died for the faith today. This is loyalty! This is fidelity! And any civilizations that can produce martyrs on such a high level must necessarily produce them on a lower level even in the home. What heat is to the natural universe, that love is to the moral universe."
