With this first week of July we begin the week with the Visitation of the pregnant Blessed Virgin Mary to her cousin St. Elizabeth who was carrying St. John the Baptist in her womb and who within that sacred chamber recognized the Messiah Jesus Christ in Mary's womb as John leapt for joy while being mystically baptized in the womb, freed from Original Sin, and making him the precursor to Our Lord and, other than the Son of God, eligible to validly perform the Sacrament of Baptism.

On Monday we celebrate the feast of Pope St. Leo II, who in confirming the 17th Session of the Third Council of Constantinople in 683, decreed:

"...We definitely state that it is not allowable for anyone to produce another faith, that is, to write or to compose or to consider or to teach others; those who dare to compose another faith, or to support or to teach or to hand on another creed to those who wish to turn to knowledge of the truth, whether from Hellenism or Judaism or indeed from any heresy whatsoever, or to introduce novelty of speech, that is, invention of terms, so as to overturn what has now been defined by Us, such persons, if they are bishops or clerics, are deprived of their episcopacy or clerical rank, and if they are monks or layfolk they are excommunicated.  (emphasis by editor)
His Holiness later followed the Council with the unmitigated words: "To all heretics, anathema! To all who side with heretics, anathema!" Back in the 7th Century that was pretty clear, but that seems to be lost on so many Catholics today who have blindly bought into the heretical Vatican 2 that has violated all St. Leo II decreed. Today the novelties and invention of terms, that supposedly make Catholics freerer in the CONciLIAR church posing as "Catholic" have in actuality made them slaves of satan.

They all need to be converted back to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith and that takes prayer and preaching. That is the one and only purpose of our longevity here on the DailyCatholic and the other Traditional Catholic sites we encourage you to read. If we don't seek to follow St. Paul's words in 2 Timothy 4: 2 - "Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine." The very reason he counsels this is the next two verses: "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away from hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables." Paul encourages us to take heart in our goal of converting souls in verse 5: "But be thou vigilant, labor in all things, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry. Be sober."

On Monday we present Pope St. Pius X's Lamentabili Sane on the 110th Anniversary of its release which is a syllabus of errors against Modernism, something the Modernist church of Vatican 2 have violated innumerably. Also on each Monday we will feature an article from the past by John Gregory in his Faithful To Tradition series on the subjects of importance to Catholics everywhere in order to realize conversion to the true Church comes from grace, but each soul needs to be open to that grace and seek out the Divine Will.

Of course, not just Novus Ordites need to be converted, but all souls in the United States, our once great country that has incurred the wrath of God by legalizing two sins that cry to Heaven for vengeance: Abortion and Sodomy. If we do not do our part to reprove, entreat, and rebuke in all patience and doctrine how will others know the truth? How will we ever be able to establish the Social Kingship of Christ in America and eventually the rest of the world? That is why we must pray for our country and its leaders no matter who is in the White House. Remember Our Lord's words in Matthew 10: 26, Mark 10: 27, and Luke 18: 27 -"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

On Independence Day when we commemorate All Holy Popes, we introduce a thorough series titled "An Argument for SedeVacantism" which will run every week during the summer by Father Courtney E. Krier, pastor of St. Joseph's Traditional Catholic Church in Las Vegas. His Introduction asks what are anti-sedevacantists going to do with the elephant in the room? Will they fall in line that sedevacantism is the only syllogism one can reach, or will they get crushed conciliarily because of their stubbornness to see the obvious? That is what Father will address in proving that the Chair has been empty for quite some time. On Wednesday we also resurrect the Church-approved messages to St. Bridget of Sweden since we have many new readers and these short messages provide inspiration to meditate on. On Thursday, the Octave Day of the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, it is the traditional feast of the holy martyr St. Thomas More and we emphasize how were Sir Thomas alive today he would definitely give his life rather than subscribing to the heresies and apostasies of the counterfeit church spawned from Vatican 2. Thursday is also the tenth anniversary when we commisserate the release of the Motu unProprio by then Benedict 16 Summorum Pontificum as we republish links to show how a decade ago sedes were not fooled by Ratzinger's flim-flam sham. Finally on Saturday, the feast of St. Elizabeth of Portugal, we not only have the Second Saturday of the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade but also Day One of the Novena leading to the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on July 16.

In addition, we provide sermons throughout the week, thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons, by Bishop Daniel Dolan and Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI as we also observe First Friday and First Saturday of July as we are now in the month of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus.

No matter the month, that Heart and Blood took life within the living tabernacle that is God's chosen vessel the Blessed Virgin Mary who as Co-Redemptrix, has promised at Fatima in fulfillment of Sacred Scripture that her Immaculate Heart would triumph. That could be God's way of inserting divine intervention to offset this Great Apostasy we remain in. Her holy Rosary is the link of hope between Traditional Catholics and CONciLIAR Catholics, and we remind you of your opportunity to pray each evening with others by calling into moderator Tom Gillbrough for Rosary Conference Call at 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 9 p.m. Central, 8 p.m. Mountain, and 7 p.m. in the Pacific Daylight time zone. You are encouraged to call in ten minutes before the hour so that the Rosary can start on time with no latecomers to upset the reverence and continuity of the Blessed Virgin Mary's holy Psalter. For those who want to stay on after the five decades, they may join in praying the other two sets of mysteries not covered for that day. Monday and Thursday are the Joyful mysteries, Tuesday and Friday are the Sorrowful mysteries, and Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday are the Glorious mysteries.

On Saturday mornings you are invited to call 319-527-2928 and join Dave Fuire and often times a priest in praying the five Glorious Mysteries at 1 p.m. EDT, noon CDT, 11 a.m. MDT, and 10 a.m. PDT in reparation for the offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is what Our Lady asked for at Fatima.

You'll note that Traditional Catholics never acknowledge the heretical luminous mysteries. Why? Because Heaven bestowed the holy Rosary to St. Dominic to fight the heresy of Albigensianism in 1214. Mary stipulated that the three sets of mysteries made up Christ's life through her and they represented the 150 Psalms which, when divided by the Trinitarian number 3 equals 50 Aves. Victorious over the Albgensians, it remained the same with miraculous results for nearly 800 years until unsaint JP2 decided he'd add the Masonic luminous mysteries. With that unprecedented move in which man thought he knew better than God, the number jumped to four sets of mysteries equalling 200 Aves. To show how demonic this is, when you divide 200 by the Trinitarian number 3 you get 666! That should tell you all you need to know about Vatican 2 and it's false 'popes'. That is why it is paramount to the welfare of your eternal soul to...

A lot has been said about the heretical 'Apostolic' declaration Amoris Laetitia that has spurred so much controversy, but there are so many other heresies spewed from Mr. Bergoglio's mouth. We urge you to check out the latest at NovusOrdoWatch.org. We strongly recommend you devote some time to listen to the monthly TRADCASTS and frequent TradCAST Express, all available at the same site. Hearing this and knowing Marxist Mr. Jorge Bergoglio's track record we shouldn't be surprised that the world is thrilled, while many Catholics are shocked, especially with his latest push to recognize all religions as equal: Pantheism and Syncretism at its apex toward a one world religion under Satan. Traditional Catholics are not shocked because we saw it coming. For all of this the best source for what is happening in separating the lambs on the right from the goats on the left is NovusOrdoWatch latest news wire which provides links to so many sources that it has become the DRUDGE Report for Traditional Catholics. In addition, we also confidently recommend trusted ports like Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as four blogs worth your while, the excellent traditional weekly blogIntroibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. They all weigh in on the consequences of the dastardly deeds by those in Modernist Rome and their cronies around the world who blatantly contradict Catholic truth, which of course is so reminiscent of Vatican 2 documents. So stay tuned to our DailyCatholic Twitter Feed for the latest as well as the editor's SANCTUS facebook page

How many lambs will be placed on the Lord's right? With the relaxation and total negligence of many Catholic disciplines today, that number might be smaller than you might think because the vast majority of the sheep are so lost because the so-called shepherds of the modern church, while masquerading as priests and prelates, are truly wolves who have ravaged souls for the past fifty years or so. Other than traditional priests and bishops ordained in the true Sacrament of Holy Orders, all those "ordained" or "consecrated" since 1968 with the man-made rite of Giovanni Montini have no more authority or power than a protestant minister, who, as Pope Leo XIII perfectly put it, "are completely null and utterly void." The fact is not since His Holiness Pope Pius XII have we had a true shepherd sitting in the Chair of Peter. That has greatly contributed to the chaos the world faces today because since the early part of the Conclave of 1958, when the Holy Ghost withdrew His protection because a false church was determined to eclipse the true Church. How long that will last is anybody's guess, but the more we see, the further away the counterfeit CONciLIAR church is out-protestanting the Protestants, and even the heathens! You see, through the Vatican 2 secular humanism man has replaced God!

I know it's a shock to most to realize they're barking up the wrong tree, the one without the true barque of Peter. It was to us when we connected all the dots and finally came to the conclusion that the only syllogism possible to verify Christ's words was that the true Church remains in an interminable interregnum, chiefly because a heretic cannot be a pope, not to mention how those men occupying the Chair since the death of His Holiness of happy memory Pope Pius XII's death on October 9, 1958. The links we provide above to other ports verifies this fact.

All we ask is that you pray for the grace to see the veracity of what is presented. It can be a tremendous task to leave the comfort zone of a religion that has relaxed so much, but isn't it worth it for your salvation? That was the decision we came to after realizing how much we were duped - yes, we're not alone - for as Jesus said in St. Matthew 24: 24-25: "insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Behold I have told it to you, beforehand." We've been warned, and yet so many refuse to connect the dots. It behooves you to do so and do so soon. To affirm this and assist you in this truth, we present a thorough talk by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn, Rector of Most Holy Trinity Seminary. We encourage you to set aside an hour and a half to truly help your soul and clarify what is really happening by listening to his magnificent and eye-opening complete overview of the Great Apostasy in: The Novus Ordo Church, Vatican II, and Sedevacantism. It's a good idea to listen to the Questions and Answers after his talk that provides rock-solid reasons why Sedevacantists have been right all along and we pray more will receive the grace to see why and flee the Novus Ordo.

The words above are the wise counsel of St. Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 and just the fact that you have arrived on this site is a blessing and we hope you pray for the grace to truly see that all we publish here is the unadulterated Catholic truth. As we have said so many times, don't take our word for it, see what holy Mother Church has always taught as infrangible truth for Our Lord cannot deceive nor be deceived. We pray you can see that if you have been deceived in any way by what has been taught by the Vatican 2 church, then something must be wrong and you will know it does not come from God, but rather His adversary the devil.

That is why we have endeavored for 21 years online to bring you the infrangible truths and traditions of the Church instituted by Christ. We can humbly say we have never had to print a retraction of anything published on these pages. Of course with all that we have here and in archives it takes money to continue. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy from the approved St. Andrew Missal 1945 and in so doing can gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. So if you have benefited in any way, we'd be so grateful for a tax-deductible donation of whatever you deem it is worth. We remind you of the advice of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Augustine on almsgiving:

"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need?"

Just click the button below or you may send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you in advance for your caring and sharing. It all comes down to St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 above. That is something we strive to fulfill and convince souls of everywhere.

Blessed Mary's first action after God had come to dwell in her was one of self-denying charity. She undertook a troublesome journey in order to visit her cousin Elizabeth. Thus she proclaimed charity to be the virtue which above all Christ brought with Him from Heaven. God made Mary's visit the occasion of a wonderful miracle. On her entrance into St. Elizabeth's dwelling, St. John Baptist was cleanssd from sin in his mother's womb. Mary was the channel of this exceptional privilege~ of the cleansing away of sin in the case of the unborn child. As then, so now: Mary is the channel of all graces, and above all, of the restoration of the sinner to friendship with God. Mary's' charity is not less present now than at the time of the Visitation. Nay, she is far more eager now than then to promote the happiness and console the sorrows of those who fly to ...More

There is a commemoration of the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost which is superseded this year by the Feast of the Visitation. The liturgy inspires us with confidence in God in the midst of the struggles, sufferings and calamities of this life. In today's Gospel Jesus shows that the true doctrine is preached only from that Church of which Peter is the head, (St. John 21: 15.) which is here represented by his ship. Amid storms of persecution Jesus has preserved His ship and He will preserve this infrangible mystical vessel, His Church, until the end of time. (St. Matthew 16: 18). Peter still guides the Barque in the unbroken line of his successors, and Jesus still teaches from this ship the same doctrine through the true bishops and priests, as His ...More

Dove-taling with Sunday's gospel is an excellent essay by NovusOrdoWatch.org that shows Peter is head of the Church when there is no true successor in the Chair, and presents the argument that proves what the First Vatican Council did not rule out Sedevacantism. The "Perpetual Successors" Objection

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon given ten years ago for the feast of the Visitation by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinnati, Ohio. His Excellency points out that the Visitation is the triumph of the Most Precious Blood which is flowing through the womb of Christ's holy mother Mary. St. John the Baptist, whose Octave Day was just yesterday, recognized Its salvific flow as he leapt in Elizabeth's womb. The Bishop emphasizes why and when this feast was established as well as treating the holy martyrs commemorated this day Sts. Processus & Martinian who received the Baptism of Blood. The meeting of Mary and Elizabeth is a coming together of love and total peace as His Excellency explains the words in the Gospel of St. Luke for this feast of The Visitation

John Gregory provides an insightful inspiration on the Visitation where Our Lady dismissed all concerns for herself to minister to others, most notably her cousin St. Elizabeth who was further along in her pregnancy than Mary. Elizabeth recognized in Mary God's design for her younger cousin as did the babe in her womb - Saint John the Baptist who, though not conceived free of Original Sin was sanctified at the presence of the Babe in Mary's womb - the fetus of the God-Man. In this time when man's uncharity towards his fellow man is legend, we need to refocus on the intention for the Second Joyful Mystery - charity towards our neighbor out of our love for God. This charity is not reserved only for a select few, but all we meet. This charity is not about doing only humane things for others, but going well beyond that in doing all we can to do all in our power to see that our neighbor will save his eternal soul. This means charitably rebuking, correcting and admonishing if our neighbor has veered from the path God intended, and that means knowing our Faith so others will know it and convert. That's the greatest charity we can do for others because we do not want to see them condemned. That's what can happen as Jesus so clearly told us in St. Matthew 28: 20 and St. Mark 16: 16. John shares the meditation of The Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation
For this Double of the Second Class Feast of the Visitation, Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey provides an inspirational piece for that says it all about the charity our Blessed Mother extends to all in his piece. Magnficat

John Gregory provides the commentary for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost which offiially begins the "Green" season in reference to the vestments throughout the Time after Pentecost. Father George Leo Haydock became famous for compiling the Fathers' and Doctors' discernment and incorporating it into the Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. For this Sunday the theme is that we will groan in and struggle in pain within ourselves while waiting for redemption as St. Paul relates in today's Epistle and in the Gospel those creatures swimming in the sea of fallen human nature in this world can only be rescued through the grace of God via those whom He has sent to reel in souls as fishers of men. Fishers of Souls

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nearly 16-minute sermon given four years ago by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Father points out how Jesus, pressed by the crowds got into a boat - Peter's boat - the Barque of Peter. Father explains what true Roman Catholics must believe and follow in aligning with the true Popes down throught the ages. We must reject all new religions including the false CONciLIAR church posing as Catholic. All other religions/churches are man-made and falls into error because they have not the protection of God. Father notes that we have no right to listen or accept error. We must be on guard that we do not jeopardize our faith and morals by turning to the world for truth. It is not there. We must remain united to Peter and by doing so, we are united to Christ, Who proved to Peter and all others that you don't doubt the Son of God for with Him all things are possible; without him our pride shipwrecks us. We will stay afloat only by The Grace of God

Pope Saint Leo II was elected in 682. His date of birth unknown; but his death was on June 28, the following year. He was a Sicilian, and son of one Paul. Though elected pope a few days after the death of St. Agatho (January 10, 681), he was not consecrated till after the lapse of a year and seven months (17 Aug, 682). Under Leo's predecessor St. Agatho, negotiations had been opened between the Holy See and Emperor Constantine Pogonatus concerning the relations of the Byzantine Court to papal elections. Constantine had already promised Agatho to abolish or reduce the tax which for about a century the popes had had to pay to the imperial treasury on the occasion of their consecration, and under Leo's successor he made other changes in what had hitherto been required of the Roman Church at the time of a papal election. In all probability, therefore, it was continued correspondence on this matter which caused the delay of the imperial confirmation of Leo's election, and hence the long postponement of his consecration. The most important act accomplished by Leo in his short pontificate was his confirmation of the acts of the Sixth Oecumenical Council (680-1).

This council had been held in Constantinople against the Monothelites, and had been presided over by the legates of Pope Agatho. After Leo had notified the emperor that the decrees of the council had been confirmed by him, he proceeded to make them known to to the nations of the West. The letters which he sent for this end to the king and to the bishops and nobles of Spain have come down to ...More

On the feast of the holy Pope St. Leo II we commemorate a most important Apostolic Constitution issued by another holy Pope, His Holiness Pope St. Pius X. Today is the 110th anniversary of that papal decree being circulated on the Syllabus of Errors condemning the mother heresy of heresies - Modernism. It is interesting to note this was the first of three steps in doing all he could to crush Modernism for he proclamated this decree three months prior to his longer infallible decree Pascendi Domenici Gregis in which he would follow up three years later with the mandatory Oath Against Modernism for all clergy, pastors, confessors, preachers, religious superiors and professors in philosophical-theological seminaries. All this he did to preserve the integrity of the holy Faith. You would think his measures were failsafe, but alas, we know the devil is powerful as has been proven over the past fifty plus years during this time of the Great Apostasy which you will truly understand more clearly once you have read Lamentabili Sane

This summer we are going to bring you past gems from John Gregory each Monday because his words are just as pertinent today as they were nine years ago when he illustrated that the SSPX and the rest of the Regognize-and-Resist crowd are really sedevacantists at heart, they just don't realize it yet for their words dovetail right into the arguments for the Chair being vacant. John points out that the idiom of what's good for the goose is good for the gander applies quite aptly to those who will argue against Feeneyism with great logic, but will turn into flapping, stumbling imbeciles when trying to defend anti-sedevacantism. Is there an ulterior motive why they refuse to fly closer to the truth before diving to conclusions? The more dishonest they are with others, the more likely it is that their opinions will eventually get shot down. The question is: What are they trying to protect? Certainly not the obvious truth. John doesn't duck the issue when he tells The Truth and Nothing But the Truth!

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a six and a half-minute sermon given eight years ago by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinnati, Ohio. His excellency's words on this holy Pope who reveals that Leo was a saint of the liturgy who sought to uproot the heresy that Christ did not have a human will. The bishop shows how this equates with Modedrnism in our time where the heresy went underground before raising its ugly head at Vatican II. The one difference is there was a true Pope at the time, St. Leo II to turn to and trust. The tape runs out as he is talking about St. Anthony in a special devotion of the Thirteen Tuesdays to the holy Doctor of the Church. The Bishop shares the importance of Pope St. Leo II

Today we remain within the Octave of Sts. Peter and Paul in which we celebrate the same Mass as on the First Class Feast except the Credo is not said. St. Peter was crucified, head downward, by order of Nero, on a hill overlooking the Vatican. On the same day, St. Paul was beheaded outside one of the gates of Rome. The Romans celebrated this feast with splendor equal to, if not surpassing, that of Easter. There are two stations, the one at St. Peter's, the other at St. Paul's, but in both Masses the Collects are common to the two apostles indissolubly united in a single prayer. It is just because of this ancient feeling which is common not only to the Romans, but to all the Fathers, that the two Founders of the Roman Church can never be divided. Tradition has preserved the memory of the places in which St. Peter and St. Paul dwelt. It is certain the chair of St. Peter and the chains of St. Paul were carefully guarded. The Vatican ...More

There is a commemoration at the Collect, Secret, and Postcommunion for the Fourth Sunday after Pentecost

We are delighted that Father Courtney E. Krier, pastor of St. Joseph's Traditional Catholic Church in Las Vegas as graciously granted permission to republish a thorough series of "An Argument for SedeVacantism." On this traditional day of All Holy Popes within the Octave of Sts. Peter and Paul, which is also Independence Day in the U.S., we begin this independent true priest's series with the Introduction and will bring you another of his installments each Tuesday during the summer. In the Introduction he poses questions that must be answered because, as much as the anti-sedevancantist camp refuses to admit the elephant in the room, the Recognize-and-Resist camp cannot logically come to a truthful syllogism in deciphering between Eternal Rome from St. Peter through Pope Pius XII and Modernist Rome created by those who followed, thanks in part to the fact that the Vatican 2 "popes" have gravely violated Divine Law as Father points out the contradictions in exposing the fallacies of those who insist that those who have occupied the Vatican as head honchos since late 1958 are true popes. Father begins his his cross examination by asking Is the Chair of Peter Vacant?

On this "Independence" Day let us realize we are not independent, but totally dependent upon Jesus Christ our Sovereign King, and if we are duped into buying into the CONciLIAR religion of man, we will never be independent. We must work to restore all things in Christ. Below is a prayer sent in by Joe Omlor. It is a..

Pray for the Conversion of the USA
Dear God, bring the Faith to our beloved country. It was once a virgin land wherein the only praise was that of the murmur of the Mass on the shores, the hills and the prairies. Zealous priests and explorers claimed it for Thee, giving Thy Holy Name to its rivers, lakes and cities. From east to west they traveled, from mission to mission, from Mass to Mass until the land was encircled by prayer and gave of its bounty to Thy glory. And now it is dedicated to Thy Immaculate Mother. May she find America again, as she once found the lost Child Jesus in the Temple. May she touch the hearts of our people, disposing them to receive the ancient faith, and thus showing them the things that are to their peace. We ask this of Thee through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saint Anthony Mary Zaccaria, was born Antonio Maria in the city of Cremona in the Duchy of Milan in 1502. He lost his father at the age of two, and was brought up as an only child by his mother. At an early age, he took a private vow of chastity. He studied philosophy at Pavia, and, from 1520, medicine at the University of Padua. After completing studies in 1524, he practised as a doctor in Cremona for three years. In 1527, he started studying for the priesthood. Because of his already extensive studies and his Christian upbringing, he was ordained in 1528. Having explored his calling for two years, mainly working in hospitals and institutions for the poor, he became the spiritual advisor to Countess Ludovica Torelli of Guastalla (then the tiny County of Guastalla) in 1530, and followed her to Milan. While there, he laid the foundations of three religious orders: one for men (the Clerics Regular of St Paul, commonly known as the Barnabites); a female branch of uncloistered ...More

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a six-minute sermon given ten years ago for the feast of the holy confessor St. Anthony Mary Zaccaria by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinnati, Ohio. His Excellency points out that while St. Anthony was not a Doctor of the Church, he was a true medical doctor and took a special interest in helping poor women and founded an order of angelical nuns to take care of them in their spiritual formation as the priestly order he founded - the Priestly Order of St. Paul, now called the Barnabites. He had a strong devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and well before Pope St. Pius X, he encouraged souls to receive Holy Communion frequently. The bishop recites a special prayer to St. Anthony Mary who died at the age of 37 from the plague, but not one minute of those years was ever wasted by St. Anthony Mary Zaccharia

Again, with many new readers finding us over the years, we've decided to go retro with the Revelations to St. Bridget of Sweden which we intend to try to bring you each Wednesday during the summer. Here St. Bridget is so beautifully depicted in the painting by Michelle R. Maher. To see a larger copyrighted image click on the painting here. We begin with Book One once again and the first chapter in bringing you these meditations on the wondrous, Church-approved, plethora of prophesies revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden in the fourteenth century which, as you reflect on Our Lord's words to her, you will realize they hold even truer in our very time today. In an effort for each person to intensify their spiritual life and strive toward holiness, we present this inspiration to meditate on the contents of each short chapter and not be overwhelmed by too much. Thus we present Christ's First Words to His Bride

Today is the Octave Day of the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul. On June 29 A.D. 67, St. Tradition has ...More

Besides this being the Octave Day of the First Class Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, it is also the traditional feast of another man who had the courage of those two apostles. He was a man for all seasons and all reasons, which was not reason enough for the ruthless Henry VIII to stay his hand of execution and seal his own soul in a vortex of further sin by condemning the innocent St. Thomas More to death. Do you really think the Modernists will be any less lenient when we stand against the false church of conciliarism? We have already seen that anything goes except if you are a Traditional Catholic. Never mind that the CONciLIAR cabal will do anything to justify the heretical Vatican 2 by their elevating two apostate false 'popes' John 23 and John Paul 2 to the same echelons as Pope St. Pius V and Pope St. Pius X. This was a sacrilege and travesty of the highest degree that the world swallowed hook, line and sinker just as they've bought tolerance for sodomy and abortion. Realize that the infallible decrees that have already condemned these men as heretics, outside the Church - as apostates. We must speak out. We must be willing to have the guts and grace that the holy martyr Thomas had for the true Faith. Are we ready to do that? Are we ready to stand alone? We should take courage from this layman, who was Chancellor of England. Here was a man who gave up home, his wife, family, prestige, treasures, the plaudits of man, and his very life rather than compromising one iota with anyone who would dare veer from the one and only true Faith Christ established upon the Rock of Peter. He realized his greatest treasure was his soul. He would do nothing to jeopardize that. Today, such principle and commitment seems less and less a reality. So great is the pull of the world, the flesh and the devil in duping the vast majority to believe the church in Rome today is Catholic. Sir Thomas More would have recognized the counterfeit church immediately, why don't we? See God wanted More and Thomas complied

Saints Cyril and Methodius were two brothers were born in Thessalonica in 827 and 826 respectively to a Byzantine Greek drungarios (a military rank) named Leon. Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon given ten years ago by Bishop Daniel Dolan for the feast of the wise men from the east Sts. It's been a full ten years since Summorum Pontificum was released and all that the writers below predicted have been realized. Francis has blatantly exposed it as the trap it was that Ratzinger tried to hide. We knew from the get-go in 2007 that Ratzinger's announcement of his Motu Mess was merely to deceive semi-traditionalists that he was sincere when, in reality, we all know what he really intended: to curtail any resistance from the Recognize-and-Resist crowd. Well, you think they're happy now with his replacement being the progressive Marxist apostate Mr. Jorge Bergoglio? Actually this had better be a wake-up call to the R & R gang that the sedevacantists have been right all along. Will they have the honesty to admit that? We can only pray they are not further deceived by believing there is any Catholicity left in Rome. UnFrancis is doing all he can to squelch any Latin Mass, even invalid ones from 1962. We list below links to prophetic articles on the Motu Mess including Griff Ruby's prophetic Motu Wars four-part series, all of which nailed it as far as foretelling exactly what would happen. Now we know. Do those in the Recognize-and-Resist camp know? If not, read below:

Griff studied the CONciLIAR document Summorum Pontificum and foretold exactly what would happen. As you'll see, he was dead on. Star Wars was fiction, this, sadly, was not. By the way, Griff has just published two books (click on each book to where you can procure them) that quite readily refute anything the anti-sedevacantists can muster.

Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey also weighed in with several pertinent points in: Probably one of the best assessments of the Motu Mess was presented by Fr. Anthony Cekada with: And finally, editor Michael Cain filed editorials that shows the unsteady foundation of the CONciLIAR church for it is an unsteady

St. Elizabeth of Portugal was born in 1271 and was named after her great-aunt, the great Elizabeth of Hungary, but is known in Portuguese history by the Spanish form of that name, Isabel. The daughter of Pedro III, King of Aragon, and Constantia, grandchild of Emperor Frederick II, she was educated very piously, and led a life of strict regularity and self-denial from her childhood: she said the full Divine Office daily, fasted and did other penances, and gave up amusement. Elizabeth was married very early to King Denis of Portugal, a poet, and known as Rei Lavrador, or the working king, from his hard work in his country's service. His morals, however, were extremely bad, and the court to which his young wife was exposed was extremely corrupt. Nevertheless, Elizabeth quietly pursued the regular religious practices of her maidenhood, whilst doing her best to win her husband's affections by gentleness ...More

Today begins the nine day Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel that was composed in part by St. Simon Stock in the thirteenth century for it was to him the Mother of God, dressed in the colors of Carmel as a Carmelite holding her divine Son as a child, appeared to him and bequeathed to him the Brown Scapular which every true Catholic wears without fail 24 hours a day. It is similar to the monastic scapulars in miniature form and is considered a sacramental since it is blessed and Our Lady has promised that those who wear it faithfully will be granted the grace of final perseverance as long as they remain in the state of Sanctifying Grace. Today is Day One

On this first day of the Novena to Our Lady of Mount Carmel who provided the protective scapular we observe charity towards our neighbor which Mary exemplified with her visit to her pregnant cousin St. Elizabeth. Talk about protection and the greatest charity of God, the baby in Elizabeth's womb leapt with joy at the knowledge of the presence of the Messiah in Mary's womb. Instantly the child who would become St. John the Baptist was freed of Original Sin, baptized, if you will, mystically in Elizabeth's womb. Who better than to express the greatest charity towards our neighbor than the Baptist in washing away Original Sin through the sacrament of Baptism. Thus we continue the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade established years ago by His Excellency the late Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. that will conclude on the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary on October 7. Considering the apostate state of the CONciLIAR church today, and the world for that matter, this crusade is so crucial to the salvation of souls. We have available to us the most powerful weapon Heaven could afford us, one that all can use and yet so few use it. That's like sending an army to the front lines with high-powered rifles and other artillery, but not loading the ammo. Doesn't make sense. Neither does holstering our Rosaries when we could be firing intercessory bullets to Heaven to save souls. If we don't do it, who will? The difference should be that Catholics extend charity towards our neighbor out of concern for the salvation of their soul, not just humanistic concerns. July is a month when the world grows even darker, governments and hierarchs grow more sinister in their bargain with the devil to eradicate God and His true Church. We turn then to the Son of God and implore Jesus to wash us in His Most Precious Blood and have mercy on us, to save us in this time of great confusion and peril, the time of the Great Apostasy, where so many have foresaken God and the true Faith. Therefore it is left to Christ's few left among the remnant, those few He will find who still have the true Faith He instituted and who practice it according to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of His Church, not conceding even one iota of compromise to the counterfeit church of conciliarism or to the demonic government that has usurped man's rights before God. It is all because of our sins that Christ died and it is because of our sins that we are receiving just punishment for abandoning Him and His Commandments. It is truly a time of Tenebrae when the darkness grows even darker. Thus it is left to us to encourage others to take up with us the heavenly weapon that, outside of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, is the most powerful tool we have to combat all the demonic activities in ecclesiastical and secular circles that threaten souls. The very fact so many are lukewarm and that the Lord will vomit them out of His mouth as documented in Apocalypse 3: 16, should prompt us all to pray all the more and call upon Heaven for mercy. We must understand that the innocent will suffer along with the guilty, but the innocent who truly follow all that Christ established and are faithful to the end, even if it leads to martyrdom as it did in early Rome, England and France and so many other spots throughout the world throughout history, will be rewarded with a heavenly crown as Christ has promised and as Saint Paul affirms in his epistles. For the truths of what the Church really teaches, see below when true, reliable popes preserved the constituted evangelic Tradition and the purity of the orthodox Faith and the Christian religion.

To fortify why the CONciLIAR church is the false church, see key Papal Decrees that preceded it in pre-Vatican Two times by true Popes who solidly condemned the V2 false 'popes' who have spit in Heaven's Face. God will not be mocked. See for yourself what the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church has decreed:

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
    • Confession
    • Communion
    • One Our Father
    • One Hail Mary
    • One Glory be...

  • The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.
