Month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
FRIDAY     August 4, 2006      Volume 17, no. 204

ALERT: Monday morning we got hit and lost all e-mail messages stored in our data base that have been sent over the past several months. This includes future articles sent by our writers. Therefore, we ask if you have sent something, please resubmit to editor@dailycatholic.org

We have cleaned everything of all viruses, but could not retrieve the messages. This week is pretty much of a wash so there won't be any new articles until the weekend at the earliest. Perhaps, it is a sign that we should be on Summer Hiatus, rather than just Summer Mode. We do know the demons are stirring like never before both on the net and in the world, seeking whom they might devour. All the more reason to pray and do penance for united we pray, divided we are prey. Let us unite to carry on the crusade for the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church; unite for the honor and glory of God and the Triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart so that her divine Son may reign once again throughout the world. Also pray for the holy souls in Purgatory to help get them to Heaven so we'll have reinforcements as the war for souls intensifies. We appreciate your understanding, patience and prayers.
Michael Cain, Editor, The Daily Catholic

  • Today is the FIRST FRIDAY of AUGUST
  •     Today is both the First Friday in August as well as the Greater Double Feast of the holy founder of the Order of Preachers, better known as the Dominicans. We are, of course, speaking of Saint Dominic whom Heaven chose to bestow the Holy Rosary from the Blessed Mother of God herself. The reason for the Rosary? To combat and crush heresies. It worked in Dominic's time and it will work in these times when we face the mother of all heresies" as Pope Saint Pius X rightfully called Modernism. Today the conciliar church is ripe with the heresy of Modernism, incorporated in the additional heresies of ecumenism, humanism, religious liberty, universal salvation - all designed to destroy the patrimony of the Roman Catholic Church, the very Church, the only Church established by the Son of God - Jesus Christ upon the Rock of Peter (cf. St. Matthew 16: 18-19). Let's take the cue from our Lady, pick up those Rosaries and use this most powerful weapon given to the faithful to fight the heresies, errors, and the Great Apostasy foretold in Sacred Scripture. St. Dominic, pray for us.

The holy Dominic preached the truth wherever he went and converted countless Albigensian heretics. So also today we have those like Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey who, through the journey to truth in sorting out all the contradictions, deception and errors from the conciliar popes and prelates, realize the first requirement of salvation is the Faith. It is a fact that the faith perpetrated by the conciliar church is, at best, not even a facsimile of the True Faith practiced, preserved and passed on from Peter through Pope Pius XII. Tom explains in clarifying the grave situation today in his Christ or chaos Corner "Souls Are At Stake"

This week is dedicated to honoring the third and final candidate to be enshrined posthumously into the Tower of Trent for this year and to receive the Crimson Cross. That man is Father Urban Snyder. This Kentucky-bred Cistercian Monk resisted the aberrations of Vatican II and strove with every fiber of his being to uphold the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church in a time when radical reforms were ransacking his beloved Order and the flocks were being scattered. He sought always to be the faithful and simple shepherd in the mold of a loyal, pious priest. He died on the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul - January 25, 1995 at the age of 83. His story is told in this week's tribute for he was "Urban et orbi in standing firm to and for Tradition.

This year, more than any other in the three-year history of these awards, voters ran the gamut of choices. Many were nominated who are already in the Hall of Honor and therefore their votes could not be counted. Many who were nominated do not meet the 20-year-in-service-to-Tradition requirement and so could not be admitted as nominees. Thus, when all votes were tallied and the editorial board weighed all the evidence, we have settled on the five to be enshrined this year. Three are being awarded posthumously and two still very much active in the Traditional movement, albeit at opposite ends of the spectrum opinion-wise as to the authenticity of the conciliar popes.

That is why no one should be surprised this year at the selections finally agreed upon. They include His Excellency Archbishop Pierre Martin Ngo-dinh-Thuc and Father Urban Snyder, both deceased as well as His Excellency Bishop Tissier de Mallerais of the Society of St. Pius X and Father Anthony Cekada who has gained in visibility from his well-received refutations of the attacks on those who consider the conciliar popes are not Catholic. Indeed, Father Cekada's arguments leveled the playing field, if you will, and his chief antagonizer retreated to refocus his strategy toward the battlefield of EWTN and the conciliar church as it should be. It does no good to stir up a hornet's nest in one's own family. And Traditional Catholics are all one family whether they be SSPX, independent, CMRI, SSPV, Trento or even some Home-aloners or some FSSP who refuse to say the Novus Ordo. More are being given the graces to join this Traditional Catholic family, but the bickering amongst ourselves only serves to deter others from assisting at the Immemorial Canonized Holy Mass of All Ages. There must be unity in all things essential which means the dogmas, doctrines, and the inerrant Scriptures leave no room for opinion. They are essential to the Faith. The same with infallible documents of the Church when a true Pope or Council speak on Faith and Morals. Roma locuta, causa finita est. In those things which are open to discussion we must afford the freedom to discuss. This includes the question as to the validity of orders, whether the conciliar popes are Catholic or not, and various positions of assorted traditional groups, as well as studying positions and statements by previous Popes, Saints and Doctors of the Church in applying their wisdom to today's unprecedented crisis. To suppress freedom of speech in these areas is fascism. There must be liberty to discuss openly. Most importantly in all things: CHARITY. With those ground rules every Traditional Catholic can better understand why things have grown progressively worse and what each needs to do to restore the Faith. It begins with prayer.

We are dedicating each Wednesday to one of these five noted. On the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul, we honored French Abbot of Solesmes Dom Prosper Louis Pascal Gueranger and last week on the feast of Saint Anne we honored Archbishop Thuc. Today, Wednesday - August 2 - the Feast of Saint Alphonsus Liguori, Bishop and Doctor of the Church we honor Father Urban Snyder. With the posthumous awards completed, we will then honor two of the living leaders who run the gamut in today's traditional opinions. In deference of rank, we will honor His Excellency Bernard Tissier de Mallerais on the feast of Saint John Marie Vianney - August 9. It is fitting considering that he co-consecrated Bishop Castro de Mayer's successor Bishop Licinio Rangel of the Campos Society of St. John Marie Vianney. We will finish up the 2006 Tower of Trent Awards on the Feast of Saint Joachim, Father of the Blessed Virgin Mary on August 16th when we pay tribute to Father Anthony Cekada who has, in a way, become the link between Archbishop Thuc and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, who was enshrined as a charter member of the Hall of Honor in 2004.

  • From August 2 thru August 8 we observe
    Father Urban Snyder Week

  •    Right now Traditionalists are fragmented and Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. takes all Traditionalists to task for their narrowmindedness and pettiness. Too much is at stake to bicker amongst ourselves. Someone has to say it and Father Trinchard is not afraid to call it like it is in his article.

  • Traditionalists Give Traditionalists a Bad Name
    by Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L.
  •     This past Sunday Father Louis Campbell presented the essence of Sunday's Epistle and Gospel that we are sons of God and therefore heirs with Christ if we are obedient to all He has taught for all will have to make an account of their stewardship. Today too many have mistaken freedom for doing whatever they want and therein are the traps of mammon. In order to be truly free we must break loose of the shackles of the world, the flesh and the devil and be willing to be persecuted for Christ even when all others abandon Him. We can gain the grace to remain ever obedient and free by heeding His Voice and holding fast to Him.

  • Freedom, and Where It Leads
    by Father Louis Campbell
  •     Last Friday Griff Ruby focused in on what we must keep in perspective no matter how far away the goal may be, to not grow impatient, to not tire of the struggle and give up. That is what satan is counting on and Griff encourages all to stay the course, keep your eye on the Prize for with men it may be impossible, but we know from St. Matthew 19: 26 and St. Luke 18: 27 that nothing is impossible with God. Because of that, Griff entreats all to be patient.

  •    Souls Are At Stake is an explanation on why Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey pulls no punches in giving credibility to the very real possibility that the sedevacantists are right, that the conciliar popes can't possibly be Catholic. Though to many this might seem an unpopular stance, Tom doesn't care one wit and neither should anyone else for souls are at stake and it is only what is pleasing to God that matters. We have said over and over that there is no way the conciliar church can justify the errors as Catholic for it contradicts the very words we say every day in the Act of Faith - "I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived." Since we have been deceived the syllogism naturally follows that those expounding such errors cannot possibly be Catholic. Ergo, if we are to believe the dogmas and the dogmatic decrees of Nicaea, Trent and Vatican I, then we must reject Vatican II and all those who have propagated these errors as in no way can they be Catholic. They may "subsist in" the modern Vatican premises, the diocesan chanceries and parishes which they have usurped, but they are not Catholic! This is the only conclusion those of good will and integrity can come to. Until they do, however, until they are granted the graces to see that The Great Apostasy is upon us, that Sacred Scripture is being fulfilled and Pope Leo XIII's prophetic words are a reality, Tom urges charity in our discourses. It is wise advice that all souls should follow for the sake of all souls in the Church Militant for Souls Are at Stake

  • The Infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church

  • In keeping with Christ's assurance in Matthew 7: 19 that "Every tree that yieldeth not good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire" the disintegration of the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan man-made church is inevitable. The collapse of this synthetic pan-christian religion spawned from Vatican II, which has usurped the True Roman Catholic Church, is evident from the news reports below, the feature articles to the right beneath the Propers of the Mass. These features and our Credo page should be for all stunning

of the realization of what has been peddled by the conciliar church of Vatican II is not Catholic and contradicts what the True Church truly teaches as you'll find on our CREDO & CULTURE Page, and especially in the infrangible Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the true Liturgy for each day of the Church's liturgical year, which we provide daily for readers with the Ordinary and Proper of each Mass in both Latin and English so Catholics may truly continue to practice their Faith and truly KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH! Tried and True! Tridentine True! Accept no substitutes. Say No! to the NO!

While you will see we are providing a warning caution below, that caution does not apply to the four traditional sites below with logos: With Traditio, whether you agree with Fr. We also strongly recommend TraditionIn Action.org, Christorchaos.com and NovusOrdoWatch.org At these four Traditional Catholic sites we can assure you they will cut through the spin and chaff to get to Catholic truth and we can confidently endorse them as true to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church.

  • TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We continue our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR. This week's honoree is the little known, but devoted Cistercian monk Father Urban John Francis Snyder who shared prayer and penance with another well known monk of the Abbey of Gethsemani in Bardstown, Kentucky in the 50's - Father Louis, known to the world better as Thomas Merton. While the Cistercians today make their claim to fame on the infamous ecumenist Merton, it is Father Urban Snyder who truly has done proudly before God in the Cistercian Order, even though he left the Order for several years because of their penchant to embrace Modernism. No matter where his ministry was - whether in Kentucky, Rome, Econe where he helped his close friend Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre establish an English-speaking seminary there and later in the United States, or in Genesee, New York, where he spent his final years in solitude with his fellow monks, this mighty monk of bluegrass blood stood firm to Tradition just as St. Paul asserted. For his years of dedication to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church we salute posthumously Father Snyder and present him the Crimson Cross and and pay tribute this week to Father Urban John Francis Snyder

    Doctors of the Church
In honor of his feast today, we present the holy wise one who was decreed the thirty-second Doctor of the Church. He was born near Naples and received a law doctorate in his teens. He had the world as his oyster and chose to cast his net into the sea in being a fisher of men. He founded an order dedicated to redeeming souls and he wrote volumes during a time when the enlightenment was already threatening the foundations of the Church. He vowed never to waste a moment and never did. He was the outstanding moral theologian who held the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as the greatest gift any Catholic could partake in. He foretold the very crisis the Church is suffering today. He is considered the Patron Saint of Moral Theology and Confessors, two attributes and professions that are sorely deficient in holiness today. We would all do well to invoke his help during these trying trials of the Church and the world and remember this great saint, known far and wide as the "Keeper of the Moral Compass": Saint Alphonsus Liguori.
    Treasures of Tradition
On this feast of St. Peter in Chains, and in light of the Epistle and Gospel from this past Sunday, it is good to remember that we will all be held accountable for our stewardship and whether we have given in to the "mammon of iniquity." Too many times Traditionalists can get too self-righteous and therefore a piece like Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. has written is a necessary reminder of the rut we can all get in and why the petty bickering serves no one except satan and his minions. In order to break the chains we all need to pray for the grace of recognizing our fellow Traditionalists for what they truly strive to be and live: Catholics. Fr. Trinchard points out the fruitlessness of bickering about the little things while the main issue Traditionalists are in agreement with - the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass - is undermined further by the conciliar church as countless 'Catholics' continue to applaud and follow the conciliar emperor, not realizing he has no clothes. In fact, considering the fruits as Christ said in the holy Gospel for the Seventh Sunday After Pentecost from St. Matthew 7: 15-21, one would surely say, this "emperor" is "fruitless" as well. This very word is ideal for describing the modernist church. What also is fruitless is for Traditionalists to continue to argue uncharitably over the little things. Father emphasizes that we all need to look at the bigger picture and unite in things essential as he explains in his article Traditionalists Give Traditionalists a Bad Name.

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Eighth Sunday After Pentecost, he illustrates clearly how the conciliar church shackled itself and its followers to the world, the flesh and the devil by subscribing to the Masonic doctrine promoted by the satanic United Nations which abhors the Social Kingship of Christ. Regardless of this fact, thanks to the liberties of Vatican II, the conciliar popes have plodded on to ransack the True Church of so much and jeopardize countless souls. Father shows the heresy of such actions that contradict not only Holy Writ, but the wisdom of previous reliable Roman Pontiffs such as Pope Pius IX and Pope Leo XIII just to name a few. True to today's Gospel from St. Luke, these conciliarists have proven themselves unjust stewards for today's children of the evil one are wiser than those who should know better. Because of it, the Masonic-Protestant-Communist and Pagan manifestos have crept in and corrupted what was once holy. Therefore, in accord with last week's Gospel, these unfruitful branches and trees must be cut down and cast into the infernal fire. Father warns of the traps of mammon for they will entice and lure until you are trapped, then they will discard you for they are not of truth, but of lies, for they come from the father of lies - lucifer himself. True freedom is only possible with, for and of Christ, the Son of God, Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Only united to Him can we be heirs with Him. That means we must bear up persecution and avoid the pitfalls so that when the day of our particular judgment arrives we can be judged as faithful stewards as Father explains in his sermon. Freedom, and Where It Leads

    The Straight Stuff
Griff Ruby takes a break from his series The Way Back to the Mainstream to remind all not to lose heart. Griff points out that sooner or later there will be a mellowing within the Traditional Movement both because of the time factor and the continued exodus of those finally fed up with the abominations emanating from the conciliar church. In time and graces received, the ranks will swell and soon those "Johnny's-come-lately-to-Tradition" will be the "old-timers" of the movement. We can learn from our elders in the Movement and take encouragement from the enthusiasm of the youthful. The picture isn't as bleak as some may think even if - through eyes of our fallen human nature - the future might look hazy and dark thanks to the distortion wrought by the conciliar church, but, when we put our spiritual binoculars to the horizon, we know that the Restoration - the Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church - is not only possible, viable and plausible, but a veritable fact. Few can judge the distance in linear time, but we can see clearly that Christ will put things well in focus and we just need to keep our eye on the Prize for all that is not of Him will fade away and the Holy Sacrifice will be restored universally when the abomination of desolation is discarded once and for all. Until then, as Griff advises, be patient. If we remain in the state of grace we can afford to wait and work toward conversion one at a time for as Griff says, "conversion is gradual, repentance is abrupt." Let's pray for the conciliarists' abruptness to come sooner rather than later. He explains in his column View to the Long Term.
    TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We continue our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR. This week's honoree is the much beleaguered, persecuted and now exonerated Archbishop of Hue in Vietnam, a man who bridged the chasm between the Catholic patrimony of Popes Pius XI and Pius XII and the conciliar disintegration from John XXIII to John Paul II. As one reads Archbishop Pierre Martin Ngo-dinh-Thuc's story one can see he was truly a Soldier of Christ, as his Coat of Arms bears out - Miles Christi, and a Prisoner of War, both the War against Communism in Vietnam and the Church from the Pact of Metz on through his abduction, betrayed by his own people in a bone-chilling kidnapping that is the stuff of spies and foreign intrigue, all in collusion with the conciliarists in the curia and chanceries of New York, Boston and Springfield-Cape Girardeau. This editor feels an affinity not only to the Archbishop in his persevering for Christ and being persecuted for Christ as our Lord affirmed we would be in St. Matthew 5: 10-16 and St. John 15: 19-20, "If you had been of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember My word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept My words, they will keep yours also.", but also in the fact that where Archbishop Thuc died and is buried today is the very same grounds this editor called home for six years from September 1957 through May 1963. As you shall see here is the rest of the story with factual documentation to verify that what most have heard up until now is the revisionists' spin that paints the Archbishop as unstable. Oh, but we beg to differ and prove just this point as we salute posthumously and pay tribute this week to Archbishop Pierre Martin Ngo-dinh-Thuc
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Seventh Sunday After Pentecost, he focuses on all the hubbub and spin circulating in light of the attacks on Lebanon by Israel. Liberals and neo-cons are clamoring for America to back Israel no matter what and the false protestant prophets are pushing this agenda in their narrow-minded view that Israel is where Christ will return and build a new temple, a fallacy of the greatest distortion for Christ did come and the Jews rejected Him. Father points out St. Paul's words that all are one in Christ Jesus, there is no more Jew or Gentile. Yet those, who subscribe to the wages of sin, which Paul asserts in today's Epistle "are death", do not realize the Temple is in Heaven for Christ has conquered death and sin. Because the Jews and so many others, including many unsuspecting Novus Ordinarians, reject Him and all His Truths as well as the only Church He established until the end of time, they are rotten trees that will wither and will be thrown into the everlasting fire as Jesus affirms in today's Gospel from St. Matthew on the ravening wolves in sheep's clothing and how we will know them: "By their fruits." Since there are no good and everlasting fruits over the past 50 years, all the things those who work for humanistic goals -including all the conciliar popes who, in syncretic fashion, encourage false and pagan religions to pray for world peace to their gods on man's terms - are in vain for how can they attain the Kingdom of Heaven if they will not acknowledge Christ as King here on earth? Father pulls no punches in his hard-hitting sermon this week. "And I saw no temple therein"
    TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We begin our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR. We begin with one who was the last chosen but he was the first born - early in the 19th century no less, two centuries after his fellow Frenchman whose feast we celebrate today - Saint Vincent de Paul. The man we honor today with the Tower of Trent Trophy was a link to all that preceded him and those today who strive to preserve the traditions from the Traditional Latin Mass and the Propers of the Mass for the One-year Cycle which Holy Mother Church in her wisdom assigned for the welfare of the faithful. He is the venerable Benedictine Abbot of the Solesmes Abbey in France, whose inspiration and work practically single-handedly restored Gregorian Chant and provided the inspirational work that is considered the Summa of the Roman Liturgy - the fifteen-volume 7400 page The Liturgical Year. He was counselor to Popes Gregory XVI and Pius IX, and his work Mémoire sur L'Immaculée Conception served as the blueprint for Pius' Papal Bull Ineffabilis Deus declaring the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception. From the ashes of the French Revolution, this Heaven-sent Abbot resurrected the Benedictine Order where today the Congregation of Solesmes stands as the international center of Gregorian Chant. His work, eschewed by the conciliar church which has embraced the three-year cycle and watered down or altered the doctrines, has been embraced in recent years by Traditional Catholics everywhere for he has provided a treasure of the Canticles of Eternity. We salute posthumously and pay tribute this week to Abbe Dom Prosper Louis Pascal Gueranger
    The Straight Stuff
Griff Ruby provides the third installment of his series The Way Back to the Mainstream as he concentrates on why Catholicism has something false religions cannot provide because, when push comes to shove, most people are looking for stability and sensibility to what life really means. There is only one Church which provides the answers and once Traditional Catholics stop sniping at each other, the path will be cleared to welcome many into Christ's True Church for everyday Modernist Rome is proving it is no longer Catholic. When our friends in the Novus Ordo finally are given the grace to realize this, when Protestants can no longer justify the errors of their origins, will we be ready to accommodate them? To answer their questions? To save their souls? Or will we Traditional Catholics still be bickering over petty things that don't amount to a hill of beans when salvation is at stake? It's the Mass. the sacred Priesthood, and the infrangible doctrines taught for nearly 2000 years. Griff explains how the stability of Doctrine and the Traditional Latin Mass are the unifying points. If we pray, we can be ready for the rush, but only if we are united in purpose as he points out in his column The Appeal of Catholicism and Hindrance Number 1.
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica returns with a theme based on the second-hand smoke theory. While that may or may not remain a theory, another second-hand smoke is no theory and that is the second-hand smoke of satan that manifests itself in something called "Second-hand Catholicism" which takes away the absolute substance and replaces the infrangible truths of Catholicism with a saccharine semblance of 'Catholicism' that is totally foreign to all that was taught up to 1958. Especially over the last 40 years this devastating second-hand smoke has been wafting up, choking and infecting countless millions, not so much affecting lungs, but souls. The smoke of satan has slithered in and penetrated every aspect of the Church where the only way to not be contaminated is by donning the anti-contamination 'suits' of Traditional Catholicism and remaining in the state of Sanctifying Grace. Only in this way can one avoid the terrible, harmful and devastating effects of this sinister smoke unleashed at Vatican II. "Second-hand Catholicism" Is Dangerous to Your Eternal Salvation.

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sixth Sunday After Pentecost, he focuses on today's Epistle from St. Paul to the Romans in which the Apostle to the Gentiles reminds us of what is necessary to have eternal life. We must be crucified with Christ for there can be no victory without the Cross, no resurrection of the body unless we die to sin and shroud our souls in the white linen of sanctifying grace. Those who persist in altering the Commandments to meet their instant gratifications or wayward thinking that man can reach Heaven outside of Holy Mother Church are in for a big surprise come Judgment time when our Lord will say, 'depart from me, you workers of iniquity, for I know ye not.' Father reminds us of what St. Peter admonished in his very first sermon 'save yourselves from this perverse generation' and perverse man has become because he has not paid heed to Peter's other words about the wiles of the devil who goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour. Those not wanting to be the next meal for this mangy beast would do well to heed the words of Sacred Scripture and learn; something the conciliar church has refused to do in continuing down the course of no return in promoting universal salvation. Woe be to them as Father points out in his sermon in which he echoes St. Peter's words recorded by St. Luke to "save yourselves from" "This Perverse Generation"
    Doctors of the Church
Today is the Traditional Double Feast of The Seraphic Doctor Saint Bonaventure, and, as part of our "gems from the past" for our Summer Mode Issues we bring you our profiles on this holy twenty-third Doctor in our completed chronological series on the Doctors of the Church. Bonaventure was a man full of "good fortune" from his earliest years. Humility was his virtue; his role model was St. Francis of Asissi, the holy founder who named him. He followed this man, continuing the ideals of the Franciscans, guiding them during turbulent times when growing pains created problems in the ranks and with various ecclesial authorities opposed to the Friars Minor. This Universal Doctor was one of the first saintly Cardinals of the Church. He was close friends with "The Angelic Doctor" St. Thomas Aquinas and the saintly king of France King Louis IX. He was the architect of the 2nd Council of Lyons and, fittingly, was called home by God immediately following completion of the Council. His work done on earth but continued through his writings and example; so much so that Saint Bonaventure is known as The Seraphic Doctor.

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fifth Sunday After Pentecost, he focuses on today's Gospel in which our Lord reminds His disciples how important it is to heed the Lord thy God and not be as the Scribes and Pharisees. In the Gospel for the Fifth Sunday Jesus also speaks of being reconciled with thy brother. But at what cost, Father asks, to deny what Christ has taught? Never! But that is exactly what the current occupant of the Chair of Peter indicates in his constant heresy that the Jewish religion that rejected the Messias can still be saved by waiting for another to come and not only that, but there is no need now for them to convert as Christ commanded in Mark 16: 15-16 and Matthew 28: 19-20. Thus we have the conciliar compromise that carries so many Catholics further into apostasy. Benedict, who should be a Scripture scholar considering his background, seems to forget the curses in Leviticus which Father reminds and the correlation to the Book of the Apocalypse. Pray for those who have been deceived, pray the Offertory prayer today that says "I will bless the Lord, Who hath given me understanding." In these times we see history repeating itself for the God of Justice and Mercy has withdrawn His graces because a withered branch has no life, the salt has lost its savor, and thanks to the global apostasy of those who were once Catholic, as Father explains in his sermon, the conciliar church, the Newchurch of Vatican II is, like the Jews, A Branch Cut Off
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fourth Sunday After Pentecost, which this year is superseded by the Feast of the Visitation, he focuses on this joyful mystery when Elizabeth immediately recognized Mary as Theotokos - the Greek word for Bearer of God. Thus she is the Mother of God. Even the child in Elizabeth's womb recognized this truth - having been granted the grace to identify God even before both were physically born. More proof of the fact that life begins at conception and that abortion during any part of the pregnancy cycle is murder. What greater attribute to motherhood than these two holy women with child embracing in all Christian love and fidelity? Father shares the truth of Sacred Scripture passages and the teachings of several saints who confirm the importance of the Visitation in affirming Mary as Theotokos and our heavenly Mother as well. Father refutes through these holy saints those who do not follow what Christ wills, those who dismiss Mary as a Catholic fable or think Mary is not necessary for salvation. She is very necessary as Father points out in his sermon. Theotokos, the God-Bearer
    Faithful to Tradition
John Gregory continues his series on the Joyful Mysteries leading up to Christmastide. Today he delves into the Visitation and the magnificence of not only the Babe in Mary's womb, but the one in Elizabeth's womb - the one who leapt with joy: St. John the Baptist. John points out the purity of this moment and how the devil mocks it by enslaving man to abortion and rape. John then relates how scripturally Mary's visitation corresponds with David the Prophet, from whose House of lineage Jesus would come. John lays out the correlating verses of scripture from 2 Kings 6 and Luke 1, then, in the fashion of wrapping a package for the Christ Child for His Birthday, John ties it all in a beautiful bow as God intended by showing the correlation of the first book of the Old Testament (Genesis 3) with the last book of the New Testament (Apocalypse 12). He illustrates the role of the man, the woman, the serpent and the angel in salvation history with the man child Jesus Christ - the New Adam, the woman as the Blessed Virgin Mary - the New Eve, the serpent as the dragon which is the devil and the angel which is both Gabriel and Michael. For John's fascinating meditation, see The Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation.

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday After Pentecost, he cites the great joy with which Heaven rejoices when one of the lost sheep are reunited to the Father in grace as expressed in today's Gospel. Likewise, how Heaven must weep when the shepherds watching over the sheep not only lead the sheep astray but are complicit in putting wool over the fur of the wolves to deceive further, leaving the faithful to fend with the ravenous ones intent on destroying the flock. Such a scenario has certainly happened since John XXIII announced his aggiornamento and the sheep have scattered just as foretold in approved Marian Apparitions such as Quito, La Salette and Fatima. And it is the very words of our Lady that are being skewered today by altering her heavenly messages to accommodate the world, the flesh and the devil. As more questions arise and photo evidence bears out, someone somewhere is going to have to launch a CSI-type investigation into the Vatican-enforced shroud of secrecy concerning Sister Lucia dos Santos who, from the photos, either underwent a tremendous plastic surgery physical makeover of both body and mind, or there was an imposter who replaced her and toned down her urgent message from the Mother of God and reshaped them to fit the modernist mindset. Considering the lies that have poured out of modern Rome over the past 40 years and now a new book from supposedly Sr. Lucia that contradicts Catholic doctrine and patronizes the Jews - in effect calling Christ a liar - the very wolves the Blessed Virgin was warning against have been firmly ensconced and the wreckovation and devastation of souls is in full force. Of course the apostates don't want anything known about the Great Apostasy. It is all part of, as Father explains in his sermon, Extreme Makeovers and Stolen Identities

    2006 igNOMinious gNOMes
We complete today the 40 worst offenders with the revelation of who the readers voted for as the top ten offenders of 2006 in our Third Annual Selection of the igNOMinious gNOMe Awards for the Hall of Shame. Those identified are a fair assessment of those whom you chose as classic examples of the Modernists who have most veered so far from the path Holy Mother Church has always traveled in conveying to the faithful flocks why shepherds are so vital in guiding souls toward eternal salvation. That is something those selected have not placed as a priority for the new religion is contrary to what was taught for nearly 2000 years. You see these shepherds in wolves' clothing no longer deem the Catholic Faith or the fullness of the sacraments necessary. For today the authentic sensus Catholicus has given way to novelty and innovation, with ecumenism raising its ugly head while the Mass of Tradition is consigned to the medieval bin and badmouthed. Who are these apostates? You've seen thirty exposed already, now get ready for the Countdown of the 10th through number one worst offenders

We continue with the next ten in our Countdown for this Third Annual Selection of the igNOMinious gNOMe Awards for 2006 as we identify those whom you chose as classic examples of the Modernists who have most veered so far from the path Holy Mother Church has always traveled in conveying to the faithful flocks why shepherds are so vital in being guided to eternal salvation. That salvation today, contrary to what was taught for nearly 2000 years, no longer deems the Catholic Faith or the fullness of the sacraments necessary. So sadly they have not placed their trust in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, but cast out on their own in not only forsaking their own soul but those countless souls they are responsible for before God. Today that benchmark of stability and the absolutes of the Faith so necessary for attaining Heaven, have been ignored and, having itching ears, they have embraced novelty and dangerous heresies, with modernism and ecumenism raising their ugly heads while the Mass of Tradition is consigned to the medieval bin and badmouthed. Who are these apostates? We continue to reveal who you voted for. Wednesday you learned of those voted 40th through 31st. Yesterday you discovered who came in 30th through 21st. Tomorrow we will reveal the top ten worst of 2006 from 10 to number 1 Today we present Countdown of the 20th through the 11th worst offenders

That salvation today, contrary to what was taught for nearly 2000 years, no longer deems the Catholic Faith or the fullness of the sacraments necessary. At least that is the thinking of those who we acknowledge igNOMiniously today. The capital NOM stands, of course, for the synthetic, man-made concoction issued by Paul VI that dared to usurp the divinely-ordained Immemorial Mass of All Ages, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Traditional Latin Mass as the dogmatic Council of Trent decreed and Pope St. Pius codified "in perpetuity." Today that benchmark of stability and sense has given way to novelty and innovation, with ecumenism raising its ugly head while the Mass of Tradition is consigned to the medieval bin and badmouthed. Who are these apostates? We basically had most of the same Usual Suspects and thus, for expediency sake, we decided to expand the eligibility requirements from last year's 50 votes to 200 this year or we would, quite possibly, have had to list over two-thirds of the bishops in the United States. We simply do not have the time or the resources to profile each of these rogues and rascals who have so forsaken the souls they were entrusted with. As it is there were 40 who garnered at least 200 this year which is quite an expansion from our original six in 2004. Thus we are breaking this up into a countdown in which we present those enshrined into the HALL OF SHAME from 40 to 31. Tomorrow we will reveal those 30 to 21. Friday those 20 to 11, and Saturday the top ten losers. Countdown of the
