Month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
August 6 through September 2, 2006      Volume 17, nos. 206-233

It is that time of year once again when we take time to refocus, to rest, pray and reload. This year that is most important considering the state of the world in this hellish time we live, and the disparity of that small voice crying in the desert of conciliarism - Traditional Catholicism which is overwhelmed by opinions that cause dissension and disunity where there should be harmony and unity. Charity is the key and if we follow Our Lord's teachings, we can unite to gain strength in numbers against the conciliar robber barons who are responsible for the eclipse of the Church. It is time to get back to basics. Nothing is more basic than the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - which can only be the divine rite established by Christ and passed down from the Apostles and codified by the dogmatic, infallible decrees of the Council of Trent and a holy Pope in Saint Pius V. Accept no substitutes! There is only one Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass and that is the Traditional Latin Mass which His Holiness infallibly decreed on July 14, 1570 must be said "in perpetuity" and no one, "Accordingly, no one whosoever is permitted to infringe or rashly contravene this notice of Our permission, statute, ordinance, command, direction, grant, indult, declaration, will, decree and prohibition. Should any person venture to do so, let him understand that he will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul." So that those who dismiss this as only for Saint Pius V's time, but for all time we publish the Latin so there is no ambiguity as to translation: "Nulli ergo omnio hominum liceat hanc paginam nostrae permissionis, statuti, ordinationis, mandati, praecepti, concessionis, indulti, declarationis, voluntatis, decreti et inhibitionis infringere, vel ei ausu temeratio contraire. Si quis autem hoc attentare praesumpserit, indignationem omnipotentis Dei, ac beatorum Patri et Pauli Apostolorum ejus se noverit incursurum."

We are proud to be the only daily publication in the world to furnish the entire Propers of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for each day of the year for those who do not have an authorized pre-Vatican II Daily Missal or do not have a Traditional Chapel near you to assist at Holy Mass daily or even on Sunday for that matter. We provide the entire month of August below for each week along with a "Gems from the Past" Sermon from Father Louis Campbell who also is on vacation during August. We alert our regular columnists that Monday morning, July 31 we got hit by something and lost all e-mail messages stored in our data base that have been sent over the past several months. This includes future articles sent by our writers. Therefore, we ask if you have sent something, please resubmit to editor@dailycatholic.org We have cleaned everything of all viruses, but could not retrieve the messages. Perhaps, it is a sign that it's time for our Summer Hiatus, and so we have moved it up. We had intended to put the issues on Summer Hiatus Mode after the final tribute on August 16 for the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor with Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais and Father Anthony Cekada still to be honored. However, sadly much of what had been composed was also lost, so the tributes will be rather short compared to the others. The important thing is that they are honored in wrapping up this year's awards.

As we have said before, we know the demons are stirring like never before both on the net and in the world, seeking whom they might devour. All the more reason to pray and do penance for united we pray, divided we are prey. Let us unite to carry on the crusade for the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church; unite for the honor and glory of God and the Triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart so that her divine Son may reign once again throughout the world. Also pray for the holy souls in Purgatory to help get them to Heaven so we'll have reinforcements as the war for souls intensifies. May you have a blessed and grace-filled August. See you in September.

We began our 17th year of publishing with our tenth on the internet, which originated with our publishing the monthly Catholic-Internet Network for nearly two years before debuting The Daily Catholic on November 1, 1997. And, speaking of looking back, we were proud to have shared a sample of some of the best articles of 2005: Sixty of them!

  • The Infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church

  • In keeping with Christ's assurance in Matthew 7: 19 that "Every tree that yieldeth not good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire" the disintegration of the Protestant-Masonic-Pagan man-made church is inevitable. The collapse of this synthetic pan-christian religion spawned from Vatican II, which has usurped the True Roman Catholic Church, is evident from the news reports below, the feature articles to the right beneath the Propers of the Mass. These features and our Credo page should be for all stunning

of the realization of what has been peddled by the conciliar church of Vatican II is not Catholic and contradicts what the True Church truly teaches as you'll find on our CREDO & CULTURE Page, and especially in the infrangible Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the true Liturgy for each day of the Church's liturgical year, which we provide daily for readers with the Ordinary and Proper of each Mass in both Latin and English so Catholics may truly continue to practice their Faith and truly KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH! Tried and True! Tridentine True! Accept no substitutes. Say No! to the NO!

While you will see we are providing a warning caution below, that caution does not apply to the four traditional sites below with logos: With Traditio, whether you agree with Fr. Moderator or not, you will always get the perennial position of Holy Mother Church without any trace of modernity. We also strongly recommend the other links below: TraditionIn Action.org, Christorchaos.com and NovusOrdoWatch.org At these four Traditional Catholic sites we can assure you they will cut through the spin and chaff to get to Catholic truth and we can confidently endorse them as true to the infallible, perennial Magisterium of the Church.

Christ or chaos is the site where Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has posted some of the most significant articles of our times. There is probably no more prolific writer in the Traditional Catholic Movement today than Tom, whose mission in life is to save souls and to restore the patrimony of the Roman Catholic Church. Few are more dedicated to this cause in not only preaching it, but living what he preaches. He has walked and driven the journey for it is doubtful anyone - anyone - has assisted at Holy Mass at more Traditional Chapels in the United States than Tom and his wife Sharon and their young daughter Lucy. If souls can be equated to miles, than we can be most optimistic that the fruits of his labors, the persecution he has endured both within and without the Traditional Movement, and his constant call for what Pope Pius XI called for as the only answer for world peace in Quas Primas - the restoration of the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ. Only by following His Blessed Mother's advice and honoring her as her divine Son honored and obeyed her for 30 years can we hope to attain such a lofty, but necessary goal for the sake of souls everywhere. We present several of his recent columns below, but during this Summer Mode Hiatus we will not be able to monitor the site to alert you to his latest column, but we encourage you to go there often for you will get the unadulterated Catholic truth and always a frank, honest, and crystal clear assessment of the current crisis and why Holy Mother Church is in eclipse as Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Scriptures, Saints and Our Lady foretold. Tom has the solutions and it begins with prayer and perseverance and then truly knowing your Faith so you can keep it in this time of The Great Apostasy. Tom provides much knowledge of all of this in his Christ or chaos Columns

  • TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We complete our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR with a tribute to Father Anthony Cekada. Here is a man who knew Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre very well and was considered one of the hard-liners which eventually led to his leaving the Society of St. Pius X in 1983 over the very fact that one could not give obedience or even credence to a known heretic even if the formal heretics were popes or had not been anathamatized by any in the conciliar church. At the time of his departure he fiercely opposed the Thuc consecrations but it was his and his colleague Bishop Daniel Dolan's thorough research that uncovered the truths and verified that indeed, the Thuc consecrations are valid and licit. On that very subject it has been Father Cekada who has led the crusade to inform the faithful that the current conciliarists from pope on down can't possibly be Catholic and to emphasize that point, has recently published an airtight document testifying that the 1968 Episcopal Consecrations and Ordinations are "Absolutely Null and Utterly Void." Those very articles and his thorough refutal of the anti-sedevacantist enterprise brought his name to prominence this year in the voting. He remains the leading apologists in the Traditional Movement in verifying that the conciliar church and its hierarchy can in no way be Catholic. For his years of dedication to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church we salute Father Anthony Cekada and present him the Truth of Trent Cross and and pay tribute this week to Father Anthony Cekada

    TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We continue our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR with the two living recipients. The first to be honored during the week of August 9 through August 15 is the 61-year-old Society of St. Pius X Bishop from Sallanche in Haute-Savoie, France. He gained the votes, most likely not for his biography of Marcel Lefebvre, but rather because of an interview he gave at the time of the voting in which he spoke out publicly in calling Ratzinger to task for heresies written as a priest. He himself was ordained a priest by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1975 he became a close confidant of the founder of the SSPX and was one of the four made a bishop in a time of Epikeia in the now famous Episcopal Consecrations of June 29, 1988 that prompted the conciliar church to distribute an illegal excommunication. Regardless of the conciliar interdict, Christ has said clearly how we will know them and that is by their fruits. Comparing the Society with the conciliar church it is clear to see where the fruits truly lie and they are not with the barren robber barons of Modernist Rome. It was to Bishop de Mallerais the Society turned in finding the ideal biographer for the life of Marcel Lefebvre. For his years of dedication to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church we salute Bishop de Mallerais and present him the Truth of Trent Cross and and pay tribute this week to Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais
    TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We continue our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR. This week's honoree is the little known, but devoted Cistercian monk Father Urban John Francis Snyder who shared prayer and penance with another well known monk of the Abbey of Gethsemani in Bardstown, Kentucky in the 50's - Father Louis, known to the world better as Thomas Merton. While the Cistercians today make their claim to fame on the infamous ecumenist Merton, it is Father Urban Snyder who truly has done proudly before God in the Cistercian Order, even though he left the Order for several years because of their penchant to embrace Modernism. No matter where his ministry was - whether in Kentucky, Rome, Econe where he helped his close friend Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre establish an English-speaking seminary there and later in the United States, or in Genesee, New York, where he spent his final years in solitude with his fellow monks, this mighty monk of bluegrass blood stood firm to Tradition just as St. Paul asserted. For his years of dedication to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church we salute posthumously Father Snyder and present him the Crimson Cross and and pay tribute this week to Father Urban John Francis Snyder
    Doctors of the Church
In honor of his feast today, we present the holy wise one who was decreed the thirty-second Doctor of the Church. He was born near Naples and received a law doctorate in his teens. He had the world as his oyster and chose to cast his net into the sea in being a fisher of men. He founded an order dedicated to redeeming souls and he wrote volumes during a time when the enlightenment was already threatening the foundations of the Church. He vowed never to waste a moment and never did. He was the outstanding moral theologian who held the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as the greatest gift any Catholic could partake in. He foretold the very crisis the Church is suffering today. He is considered the Patron Saint of Moral Theology and Confessors, two attributes and professions that are sorely deficient in holiness today. We would all do well to invoke his help during these trying trials of the Church and the world and remember this great saint, known far and wide as the "Keeper of the Moral Compass": Saint Alphonsus Liguori.
    Treasures of Tradition
On this feast of St. Peter in Chains, and in light of the Epistle and Gospel from this past Sunday, it is good to remember that we will all be held accountable for our stewardship and whether we have given in to the "mammon of iniquity." Too many times Traditionalists can get too self-righteous and therefore a piece like Father Paul Trinchard, S.T.L. has written is a necessary reminder of the rut we can all get in and why the petty bickering serves no one except satan and his minions. In order to break the chains we all need to pray for the grace of recognizing our fellow Traditionalists for what they truly strive to be and live: Catholics. Fr. Trinchard points out the fruitlessness of bickering about the little things while the main issue Traditionalists are in agreement with - the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass - is undermined further by the conciliar church as countless 'Catholics' continue to applaud and follow the conciliar emperor, not realizing he has no clothes. In fact, considering the fruits as Christ said in the holy Gospel for the Seventh Sunday After Pentecost from St. Matthew 7: 15-21, one would surely say, this "emperor" is "fruitless" as well. This very word is ideal for describing the modernist church. What also is fruitless is for Traditionalists to continue to argue uncharitably over the little things. Father emphasizes that we all need to look at the bigger picture and unite in things essential as he explains in his article Traditionalists Give Traditionalists a Bad Name.

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Eighth Sunday After Pentecost, he illustrates clearly how the conciliar church shackled itself and its followers to the world, the flesh and the devil by subscribing to the Masonic doctrine promoted by the satanic United Nations which abhors the Social Kingship of Christ. Regardless of this fact, thanks to the liberties of Vatican II, the conciliar popes have plodded on to ransack the True Church of so much and jeopardize countless souls. Father shows the heresy of such actions that contradict not only Holy Writ, but the wisdom of previous reliable Roman Pontiffs such as Pope Pius IX and Pope Leo XIII just to name a few. True to today's Gospel from St. Luke, these conciliarists have proven themselves unjust stewards for today's children of the evil one are wiser than those who should know better. Because of it, the Masonic-Protestant-Communist and Pagan manifestos have crept in and corrupted what was once holy. Therefore, in accord with last week's Gospel, these unfruitful branches and trees must be cut down and cast into the infernal fire. Father warns of the traps of mammon for they will entice and lure until you are trapped, then they will discard you for they are not of truth, but of lies, for they come from the father of lies - lucifer himself. True freedom is only possible with, for and of Christ, the Son of God, Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Only united to Him can we be heirs with Him. That means we must bear up persecution and avoid the pitfalls so that when the day of our particular judgment arrives we can be judged as faithful stewards as Father explains in his sermon. Freedom, and Where It Leads

    The Straight Stuff
Griff Ruby takes a break from his series The Way Back to the Mainstream to remind all not to lose heart. Griff points out that sooner or later there will be a mellowing within the Traditional Movement both because of the time factor and the continued exodus of those finally fed up with the abominations emanating from the conciliar church. In time and graces received, the ranks will swell and soon those "Johnny's-come-lately-to-Tradition" will be the "old-timers" of the movement. We can learn from our elders in the Movement and take encouragement from the enthusiasm of the youthful. The picture isn't as bleak as some may think even if - through eyes of our fallen human nature - the future might look hazy and dark thanks to the distortion wrought by the conciliar church, but, when we put our spiritual binoculars to the horizon, we know that the Restoration - the Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church - is not only possible, viable and plausible, but a veritable fact. Few can judge the distance in linear time, but we can see clearly that Christ will put things well in focus and we just need to keep our eye on the Prize for all that is not of Him will fade away and the Holy Sacrifice will be restored universally when the abomination of desolation is discarded once and for all. Until then, as Griff advises, be patient. If we remain in the state of grace we can afford to wait and work toward conversion one at a time for as Griff says, "conversion is gradual, repentance is abrupt." Let's pray for the conciliarists' abruptness to come sooner rather than later. He explains in his column View to the Long Term.
    TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We continue our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR. This week's honoree is the much beleaguered, persecuted and now exonerated Archbishop of Hue in Vietnam, a man who bridged the chasm between the Catholic patrimony of Popes Pius XI and Pius XII and the conciliar disintegration from John XXIII to John Paul II. As one reads Archbishop Pierre Martin Ngo-dinh-Thuc's story one can see he was truly a Soldier of Christ, as his Coat of Arms bears out - Miles Christi, and a Prisoner of War, both the War against Communism in Vietnam and the Church from the Pact of Metz on through his abduction, betrayed by his own people in a bone-chilling kidnapping that is the stuff of spies and foreign intrigue, all in collusion with the conciliarists in the curia and chanceries of New York, Boston and Springfield-Cape Girardeau. This editor feels an affinity not only to the Archbishop in his persevering for Christ and being persecuted for Christ as our Lord affirmed we would be in St. Matthew 5: 10-16 and St. John 15: 19-20, "If you had been of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember My word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept My words, they will keep yours also.", but also in the fact that where Archbishop Thuc died and is buried today is the very same grounds this editor called home for six years from September 1957 through May 1963. As you shall see here is the rest of the story with factual documentation to verify that what most have heard up until now is the revisionists' spin that paints the Archbishop as unstable. Oh, but we beg to differ and prove just this point as we salute posthumously and pay tribute this week to Archbishop Pierre Martin Ngo-dinh-Thuc
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Seventh Sunday After Pentecost, he focuses on all the hubbub and spin circulating in light of the attacks on Lebanon by Israel. Liberals and neo-cons are clamoring for America to back Israel no matter what and the false protestant prophets are pushing this agenda in their narrow-minded view that Israel is where Christ will return and build a new temple, a fallacy of the greatest distortion for Christ did come and the Jews rejected Him. Father points out St. Paul's words that all are one in Christ Jesus, there is no more Jew or Gentile. Yet those, who subscribe to the wages of sin, which Paul asserts in today's Epistle "are death", do not realize the Temple is in Heaven for Christ has conquered death and sin. Because the Jews and so many others, including many unsuspecting Novus Ordinarians, reject Him and all His Truths as well as the only Church He established until the end of time, they are rotten trees that will wither and will be thrown into the everlasting fire as Jesus affirms in today's Gospel from St. Matthew on the ravening wolves in sheep's clothing and how we will know them: "By their fruits." Since there are no good and everlasting fruits over the past 50 years, all the things those who work for humanistic goals -including all the conciliar popes who, in syncretic fashion, encourage false and pagan religions to pray for world peace to their gods on man's terms - are in vain for how can they attain the Kingdom of Heaven if they will not acknowledge Christ as King here on earth? Father pulls no punches in his hard-hitting sermon this week. "And I saw no temple therein"
    TOWER OF TRENT Tribute
We begin our individual Tributes to this year's inductees into the prestigious TOWER OF TRENT HALL OF HONOR. We begin with one who was the last chosen but he was the first born - early in the 19th century no less, two centuries after his fellow Frenchman whose feast we celebrate today - Saint Vincent de Paul. The man we honor today with the Tower of Trent Trophy was a link to all that preceded him and those today who strive to preserve the traditions from the Traditional Latin Mass and the Propers of the Mass for the One-year Cycle which Holy Mother Church in her wisdom assigned for the welfare of the faithful. He is the venerable Benedictine Abbot of the Solesmes Abbey in France, whose inspiration and work practically single-handedly restored Gregorian Chant and provided the inspirational work that is considered the Summa of the Roman Liturgy - the fifteen-volume 7400 page The Liturgical Year. He was counselor to Popes Gregory XVI and Pius IX, and his work Mémoire sur L'Immaculée Conception served as the blueprint for Pius' Papal Bull Ineffabilis Deus declaring the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception. From the ashes of the French Revolution, this Heaven-sent Abbot resurrected the Benedictine Order where today the Congregation of Solesmes stands as the international center of Gregorian Chant. His work, eschewed by the conciliar church which has embraced the three-year cycle and watered down or altered the doctrines, has been embraced in recent years by Traditional Catholics everywhere for he has provided a treasure of the Canticles of Eternity. We salute posthumously and pay tribute this week to Abbe Dom Prosper Louis Pascal Gueranger
    The Straight Stuff
Griff Ruby provides the third installment of his series The Way Back to the Mainstream as he concentrates on why Catholicism has something false religions cannot provide because, when push comes to shove, most people are looking for stability and sensibility to what life really means. There is only one Church which provides the answers and once Traditional Catholics stop sniping at each other, the path will be cleared to welcome many into Christ's True Church for everyday Modernist Rome is proving it is no longer Catholic. When our friends in the Novus Ordo finally are given the grace to realize this, when Protestants can no longer justify the errors of their origins, will we be ready to accommodate them? To answer their questions? To save their souls? Or will we Traditional Catholics still be bickering over petty things that don't amount to a hill of beans when salvation is at stake? It's the Mass. the sacred Priesthood, and the infrangible doctrines taught for nearly 2000 years. Griff explains how the stability of Doctrine and the Traditional Latin Mass are the unifying points. If we pray, we can be ready for the rush, but only if we are united in purpose as he points out in his column The Appeal of Catholicism and Hindrance Number 1.
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica returns with a theme based on the second-hand smoke theory. While that may or may not remain a theory, another second-hand smoke is no theory and that is the second-hand smoke of satan that manifests itself in something called "Second-hand Catholicism" which takes away the absolute substance and replaces the infrangible truths of Catholicism with a saccharine semblance of 'Catholicism' that is totally foreign to all that was taught up to 1958. Especially over the last 40 years this devastating second-hand smoke has been wafting up, choking and infecting countless millions, not so much affecting lungs, but souls. The smoke of satan has slithered in and penetrated every aspect of the Church where the only way to not be contaminated is by donning the anti-contamination 'suits' of Traditional Catholicism and remaining in the state of Sanctifying Grace. Only in this way can one avoid the terrible, harmful and devastating effects of this sinister smoke unleashed at Vatican II. "Second-hand Catholicism" Is Dangerous to Your Eternal Salvation.

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sixth Sunday After Pentecost, he focuses on today's Epistle from St. Paul to the Romans in which the Apostle to the Gentiles reminds us of what is necessary to have eternal life. We must be crucified with Christ for there can be no victory without the Cross, no resurrection of the body unless we die to sin and shroud our souls in the white linen of sanctifying grace. Those who persist in altering the Commandments to meet their instant gratifications or wayward thinking that man can reach Heaven outside of Holy Mother Church are in for a big surprise come Judgment time when our Lord will say, 'depart from me, you workers of iniquity, for I know ye not.' Father reminds us of what St. Peter admonished in his very first sermon 'save yourselves from this perverse generation' and perverse man has become because he has not paid heed to Peter's other words about the wiles of the devil who goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour. Those not wanting to be the next meal for this mangy beast would do well to heed the words of Sacred Scripture and learn; something the conciliar church has refused to do in continuing down the course of no return in promoting universal salvation. Woe be to them as Father points out in his sermon in which he echoes St. Peter's words recorded by St. Luke to "save yourselves from" "This Perverse Generation"
    Doctors of the Church
Today is the Traditional Double Feast of The Seraphic Doctor Saint Bonaventure, and, as part of our "gems from the past" for our Summer Mode Issues we bring you our profiles on this holy twenty-third Doctor in our completed chronological series on the Doctors of the Church. Bonaventure was a man full of "good fortune" from his earliest years. Humility was his virtue; his role model was St. Francis of Asissi, the holy founder who named him. He followed this man, continuing the ideals of the Franciscans, guiding them during turbulent times when growing pains created problems in the ranks and with various ecclesial authorities opposed to the Friars Minor. This Universal Doctor was one of the first saintly Cardinals of the Church. He was close friends with "The Angelic Doctor" St. Thomas Aquinas and the saintly king of France King Louis IX. He was the architect of the 2nd Council of Lyons and, fittingly, was called home by God immediately following completion of the Council. His work done on earth but continued through his writings and example; so much so that Saint Bonaventure is known as The Seraphic Doctor.

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fifth Sunday After Pentecost, he focuses on today's Gospel in which our Lord reminds His disciples how important it is to heed the Lord thy God and not be as the Scribes and Pharisees. In the Gospel for the Fifth Sunday Jesus also speaks of being reconciled with thy brother. But at what cost, Father asks, to deny what Christ has taught? Never! But that is exactly what the current occupant of the Chair of Peter indicates in his constant heresy that the Jewish religion that rejected the Messias can still be saved by waiting for another to come and not only that, but there is no need now for them to convert as Christ commanded in Mark 16: 15-16 and Matthew 28: 19-20. Thus we have the conciliar compromise that carries so many Catholics further into apostasy. Benedict, who should be a Scripture scholar considering his background, seems to forget the curses in Leviticus which Father reminds and the correlation to the Book of the Apocalypse. Pray for those who have been deceived, pray the Offertory prayer today that says "I will bless the Lord, Who hath given me understanding." In these times we see history repeating itself for the God of Justice and Mercy has withdrawn His graces because a withered branch has no life, the salt has lost its savor, and thanks to the global apostasy of those who were once Catholic, as Father explains in his sermon, the conciliar church, the Newchurch of Vatican II is, like the Jews, A Branch Cut Off
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Fourth Sunday After Pentecost, which this year is superseded by the Feast of the Visitation, he focuses on this joyful mystery when Elizabeth immediately recognized Mary as Theotokos - the Greek word for Bearer of God. Thus she is the Mother of God. Even the child in Elizabeth's womb recognized this truth - having been granted the grace to identify God even before both were physically born. More proof of the fact that life begins at conception and that abortion during any part of the pregnancy cycle is murder. What greater attribute to motherhood than these two holy women with child embracing in all Christian love and fidelity? Father shares the truth of Sacred Scripture passages and the teachings of several saints who confirm the importance of the Visitation in affirming Mary as Theotokos and our heavenly Mother as well. Father refutes through these holy saints those who do not follow what Christ wills, those who dismiss Mary as a Catholic fable or think Mary is not necessary for salvation. She is very necessary as Father points out in his sermon. Theotokos, the God-Bearer
    Faithful to Tradition
John Gregory continues his series on the Joyful Mysteries leading up to Christmastide. Today he delves into the Visitation and the magnificence of not only the Babe in Mary's womb, but the one in Elizabeth's womb - the one who leapt with joy: St. John the Baptist. John points out the purity of this moment and how the devil mocks it by enslaving man to abortion and rape. John then relates how scripturally Mary's visitation corresponds with David the Prophet, from whose House of lineage Jesus would come. John lays out the correlating verses of scripture from 2 Kings 6 and Luke 1, then, in the fashion of wrapping a package for the Christ Child for His Birthday, John ties it all in a beautiful bow as God intended by showing the correlation of the first book of the Old Testament (Genesis 3) with the last book of the New Testament (Apocalypse 12). He illustrates the role of the man, the woman, the serpent and the angel in salvation history with the man child Jesus Christ - the New Adam, the woman as the Blessed Virgin Mary - the New Eve, the serpent as the dragon which is the devil and the angel which is both Gabriel and Michael. For John's fascinating meditation, see The Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation.

    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday After Pentecost, he cites the great joy with which Heaven rejoices when one of the lost sheep are reunited to the Father in grace as expressed in today's Gospel. Likewise, how Heaven must weep when the shepherds watching over the sheep not only lead the sheep astray but are complicit in putting wool over the fur of the wolves to deceive further, leaving the faithful to fend with the ravenous ones intent on destroying the flock. Such a scenario has certainly happened since John XXIII announced his aggiornamento and the sheep have scattered just as foretold in approved Marian Apparitions such as Quito, La Salette and Fatima. And it is the very words of our Lady that are being skewered today by altering her heavenly messages to accommodate the world, the flesh and the devil. As more questions arise and photo evidence bears out, someone somewhere is going to have to launch a CSI-type investigation into the Vatican-enforced shroud of secrecy concerning Sister Lucia dos Santos who, from the photos, either underwent a tremendous plastic surgery physical makeover of both body and mind, or there was an imposter who replaced her and toned down her urgent message from the Mother of God and reshaped them to fit the modernist mindset. Considering the lies that have poured out of modern Rome over the past 40 years and now a new book from supposedly Sr. Lucia that contradicts Catholic doctrine and patronizes the Jews - in effect calling Christ a liar - the very wolves the Blessed Virgin was warning against have been firmly ensconced and the wreckovation and devastation of souls is in full force. Of course the apostates don't want anything known about the Great Apostasy. It is all part of, as Father explains in his sermon, Extreme Makeovers and Stolen Identities

    2006 igNOMinious gNOMes
We complete today the 40 worst offenders with the revelation of who the readers voted for as the top ten offenders of 2006 in our Third Annual Selection of the igNOMinious gNOMe Awards for the Hall of Shame. Those identified are a fair assessment of those whom you chose as classic examples of the Modernists who have most veered so far from the path Holy Mother Church has always traveled in conveying to the faithful flocks why shepherds are so vital in guiding souls toward eternal salvation. That is something those selected have not placed as a priority for the new religion is contrary to what was taught for nearly 2000 years. You see these shepherds in wolves' clothing no longer deem the Catholic Faith or the fullness of the sacraments necessary. For today the authentic sensus Catholicus has given way to novelty and innovation, with ecumenism raising its ugly head while the Mass of Tradition is consigned to the medieval bin and badmouthed. Who are these apostates? You've seen thirty exposed already, now get ready for the Countdown of the 10th through number one worst offenders

We continue with the next ten in our Countdown for this Third Annual Selection of the igNOMinious gNOMe Awards for 2006 as we identify those whom you chose as classic examples of the Modernists who have most veered so far from the path Holy Mother Church has always traveled in conveying to the faithful flocks why shepherds are so vital in being guided to eternal salvation. That salvation today, contrary to what was taught for nearly 2000 years, no longer deems the Catholic Faith or the fullness of the sacraments necessary. So sadly they have not placed their trust in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, but cast out on their own in not only forsaking their own soul but those countless souls they are responsible for before God. Today that benchmark of stability and the absolutes of the Faith so necessary for attaining Heaven, have been ignored and, having itching ears, they have embraced novelty and dangerous heresies, with modernism and ecumenism raising their ugly heads while the Mass of Tradition is consigned to the medieval bin and badmouthed. Who are these apostates? We continue to reveal who you voted for. Wednesday you learned of those voted 40th through 31st. Yesterday you discovered who came in 30th through 21st. That salvation today, contrary to what was taught for nearly 2000 years, no longer deems the Catholic Faith or the fullness of the sacraments necessary. At least that is the thinking of those who we acknowledge igNOMiniously today. The capital NOM stands, of course, for the synthetic, man-made concoction issued by Paul VI that dared to usurp the divinely-ordained Immemorial Mass of All Ages, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass - the Traditional Latin Mass as the dogmatic Council of Trent decreed and Pope St. Pius codified "in perpetuity." Today that benchmark of stability and sense has given way to novelty and innovation, with ecumenism raising its ugly head while the Mass of Tradition is consigned to the medieval bin and badmouthed. Who are these apostates? We basically had most of the same Usual Suspects and thus, for expediency sake, we decided to expand the eligibility requirements from last year's 50 votes to 200 this year or we would, quite possibly, have had to list over two-thirds of the bishops in the United States. We simply do not have the time or the resources to profile each of these rogues and rascals who have so forsaken the souls they were entrusted with. As it is there were 40 who garnered at least 200 this year which is quite an expansion from our original six in 2004. Thus we are breaking this up into a countdown in which we present those enshrined into the HALL OF SHAME from 40 to 31. Tomorrow we will reveal those 30 to 21. Making Sense of sensus Catholicus
During this Octave of Corpus Christi, Father James F. Wathen, esteemed author of The Great Sacrilege - which in over 35 years has yet to be refuted and can't be - presents a treatise on the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar and the magnificent logic of God's rationale for sharing such an Awesome Mystery with His stubborn creatures who so often show no appreciation for what they have been given in the holy Church and sacramental grace God has so generously endowed to man. Just as Sunday's Gospel illustrates the banquet where the master invites those previously rejected, God has provided the ultimate Banquet in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass where all are invited to partake of the God-Man in fully participating in God's ultimate love for man. However there are conditions the Almighty has set in order to worthily receive this priceless Gift, provided only through the awesome Sacramental Mystery of the Holy Eucharist and only in the True Church of Christ by an alter Christus validly consecrated to confect the bread and wine into the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. The Essence of Corpus Christi
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday after Corpus Christi - the Second Sunday After Pentecost, he speaks of the consequences of those who do not take seriously enough the responsibility of their debt to the Lamb of God for His ultimate Sacrifice on the Cross. One cannot partake of the heavenly Banquet if one has not properly prepared nor if one does not appreciate what is at stake. The Holy Trinity has provided the perfect assistance to everyone to realize the infinite value of this Banquet and, through Holy Mother Church, provides It for us in the Most Holy Eucharist - the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ through the awesome Mystery of the Transubstantiation in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the form and matter confected only by a validly ordained, consecrated priest pronouncing the infrangible words mandated by the Council of Trent and codified for all time by a holy Pope. Yet, despite this and the loving guidance of Christ's Own Blessed Mother and the protection of celestial choirs of angels led by St. Michael to keep us safe so that we will persevere in practicing and preserving the Sacred Deposit of the Faith as handed down by Saints, Doctors of the Church, Popes and dogmatic Councils, many respond more like those invited in today's Gospel by making excuse after excuse why they can't comply with the Master's invitation. Sin holds rein and forgiveness is considered only on the humanistic terms of tolerance and diversity. Unconditional forgiveness is unheard of for they have declined the invitation to join the Church Militant, to pull their weight in the Communion of Saints because they opt for another trio: the world, the flesh and the devil. Father explains in his sermon. As We Forgive Those
    Doctors of the Church
Today is the feast of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Ephrem the Deacon, and in honor of this saintly Syrian, who was the second chronologically to receive such a title following Saint Athanasius, we present a brief profile in our "Gems from the Past" series. St. Ephrem was beloved by his people and one called the "Prophet of his people" and a deacon who combated heretical sects and Roman emperors, not by raising his voice in anger, but through Syriac poetry in winning the people to the Faith. His works are integral to the Syrian Church. It is fitting this year that his feast falls on the Second Sunday after Pentecost when our Lord speaks in Luke of inviting the poor and feeble, the blind and lame, for Ephrem reached out and cared for the least of his brethren in winning them to the Lord. He was a clarion of clarity to those suffering from the confusion of the Arian heresy. He was the "Harp of the Holy Ghost" and "Column of the Church"
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica shows that one doesn't need a calculator to add up where the root of the trouble in the Church is today: Bad bishops from the top on down. Two of the ranking conciliar potentates in the states are the heads of Los Angeles and Washington D.C. The assembly of conciliar bishops meeting in Los Angeles today would fit the very essence of the title of Gabriel's piece "Conciliar Cowards" and "Corruption" for it sums up what is going on. That is why he pinpoints the worst of the worst - two men who have deceived so many, who have declared outright heresy and co-opted with the devil in denying Christ and forsaking the flocks who are, by their words and actions, calculated cunning wolves, the most ravenous of the ravenous. You know them well because they are the darlings of the liberals, sodomites, freemasons and modernists: Roger Mahony and Theodore McCarrick; two men among the many who obstinately refuse to hear the Truth. Gabriel explains in his column Conciliar Cowards, Corruption & Calculators
    Fiat Voluntas Dei
Because it's the feast of Corpus Christi, we bring you a special "Gems from the Past" by Timothy Duff in which he provided inspiration and a fail-safe method of being always in the right frame of mind to receive Holy Communion and never to take this Awesome Gift of the Bread of Angels for granted. He gleans several pointers from St. Louis Marie de Montfort's True Devotion and so, on this day when countless Catholics renew their consecration or fulfill for the first time their consecration Tim furnishes an excellent checklist to continue the fervor. There is no better time to focus on truly and worthily receiving Christ into our very beings and being conscious of this great and wondrous gift throughout our entire day Tim offers his short formula of spiritual success in True Devotion and Holy Communion
    Faithful to Tradition
John Gregory presents a poignant piece in which he focuses on the divine number three, especially in this time when we are still basking in the grace-filled glow of Trinity Sunday. He points out that there are often three ways of looking at things. Sometimes that is healthy, but not when it contradicts what the Divine has ordained or what Peter's legitimate successors have decreed. This is true regardless of the fact the vast majority ignore this wisdom already proclaimed by the Church and past reliable and holy Pontiffs in opting for their own way of thinking. It can create problems when what should be the progression of one, then two replacing one goes too far towards establishing three. There are Three Persons in One God, and only One Church - Unam Ecclesiam: the Roman Catholic Church and that you can take to the bank - as in the thrice-defined dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus. For some reason, the conciliar church doesn't get that as John expounds in his column The "New" New Covenant
    Doctors of the Church
The holy Franciscan Saint Anthony of Padua is chronologically the twenty-first Doctor to be named a Doctors of the Church. He was a man who was not blessed with good health, but turned that weakness into one of his greatest strengths. He was a holy priest who truly understood the meaning of Crusade and conquered many to Christ not through the sword, but through his eloquent speech, miracles and humility. He sought the crown of martyrdom, but was rewarded instead with the miraculous phenomenon of having the Child Jesus visit him, rest in his arms to encourage and pray with this beloved Franciscan whose preaching and odor of sanctity converted countless souls to the Faith. "Hammer of Heretics"
    Doctors of the Church
Today's Doctor of the Church Saint Basil the Great was among several other great saints from the fourth century who also faced the intense persecutions and calumnies of the Arian bishops and suffered greatly, never complaining and living a life of austerity while his fellow Arian bishops lived high on the hog, much like traditional clergy today as opposed to the indulging conciliar hierarchs. Like his good life-long friend and fellow Doctor of the Church St. Gregory Nazianzen, Basil, too, came from holy stock and had two brothers who became bishops, a father, mother and sister who became saints. This Bishop of Caesarea was featured as the sixth on the chronological list of Doctors of the Church. St. Basil, one of the few to receive the title of Magnus, is considered the "Orator of Orthodoxy"
    On the BattleLine
Atila Sinke Guimarães sums up the propositions being proffered by modern Rome as to a new book slated to be released later this year which contain supposed writings of Sister Lucia Santos that contradict Catholic doctrine as Atila proves go against Christ's Own words in Sacred Scripture. More, he suspects - and so should every Catholic from the Blue Army to every Fatima devotee - of the twisting of the truths and altering the Fatima message to meet conciliar demands and pander to Zionist interests rather than what Our Lady appeared for - that man meets God's demands or else. We've seen the "or else" played out over the past century - events and attitude that the earlier infirm and petite Sister Lucia would have shuddered at and recoiled from, but now we see pictures of a robust, rather worldly-for-a-contemplative air about her, and even proficient on computers - this from a poor peasant hunched over since her youth??? Who was this Sister Lucy Two? Was she a knowing partner to the apostasy by fabricating the real message of Fatima? All questions that need to be answered because the faithful have had enough of this tail-wagging-the-dog from these hyenas on high. Atila spells out the obvious in his column posted at Tradition In Action with his Bird's Eye View of A Sister Lucy Favorable to Judaism
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Trinity Sunday, he entreats Catholics to realize why they cannot subscribe to the new ecumenical church that is morphing continuously as the apostate progressivists seek to further make it into their own chameleon; a proper analogy considering it was the reptile who first deceived. And these men are vipers who would dare alter the One, True Faith founded by Jesus Christ and which was practiced and preserved over the centuries by saints and sinners, alike despite whatever enemy satan launched at them. The Faith of the Holy Catholic Church has survived every foe and God has vanquished Her adversaries and the True Church, now in eclipse, will be the victor once again in God's time, which is contingent on the faith, perseverance and prayers of the faithful. From the beginning God has warned against collaborating or mixing with those not of the same belief, but today that wisdom and grace has been abandoned in order to forge a universal religion where all are saved according to man's dictates, not the Almighty's. That won't get many past Purgatory if they persist in accepting the heresy that Jews and Muslims worship the same God. Have these luminaries of the New Order forgotten the Holy Trinity? It seems also they have forgotten Sacred Scripture and what past reliable Popes decreed. Father explains in his sermon. The Worship of the True God
    Catholic PewPOINT
Father Carl Pulvermacher, OFM Cap.Father Paul Trinchard, STL
In honor of two Traditional stalwart priests, editor Michael Cain pays tribute to the beloved Capuchin Father Carl Pulvermacher, whose Requiem High Mass and burial are slated for today in Dickinson, Texas with Bishop Richard Williamson coming all the way from Argentina to officiate. Five hours east in the Crescent City, Father Paul Trinchard will celebrate his 40th anniversary as a priest today in the loneliness of his own oratory chapel, exiled from saying Mass on this celebratory day in the church where his great uncle is interred - the priest who probably influenced Fr. Paul more than anyone else for it is the same priest who baptized Fr. Trinchard's own mother. But he has been denied this privilege and fervent life-long wish in direct disobedience to Pope St. Pius V's eternal celebret that a priest has the right and duty to say the Immemorial Canonized Latin Mass, and only that approved rite. Who denied him? Who else but another of those cookie-cutter grand potentates who rule over the lodges of each diocese. In this case the grinch is New Orleans' Alfred Hughes, the little Napoleon of the south. Short of storming the portal of St. Mary's Assumption, Father Paul will quietly say his Holy Mass today as he has done each day since the early 90's when he realized that to obey the conciliarists was to disobey God. Cain shares the story of these two priests and urges all to stay the course, to put away the barbs and bickering, recognize the who the real enemy is, and unite for the good of restoring Holy Mother Church for the Mystical Bride remains in eclipse due to the devastation wrought by Vatican II. Cain explains in his Tributes in this Time of Epikeia
    Making Sense of sensus Catholicus
On this day when many fear the omens of 666, Father James F. Wathen, author of The Great Sacrilege - which no one has been able to refute for the past 35 years - shows how the Scriptures provide hope and optimism as he takes the reader through Romans 7 and Romans 8 and the intent of the Apostle Paul in respect to each taking accountability before God for their actions and taking care to guard the concupiscences that lead one into sin. Only through the grace of the Holy Ghost can one escape the traps laid out by satan and our fallen human nature. That is why Christ sent His Spirit of Truth to guide us and keep us safe. But it is up to each of us to abide by what Divine Revelation teaches. There is nothing to fear if we are resigned to the divine Will and allow the Holy Ghost to work in us through sacramental grace to help effect the good that God seeks in man. We cannot look to others to provide this for it begins with each and every one of us cooperating with the Spirit of Truth. Father explains in his essay for the Octave Week of Pentecost The Life of the Spirit Working in us through the Holy Ghost
    Gabriel's Clarion
Gabriel Garnica puts into perspective what tomorrow's date signifies for those who believe and trust in God and realize that the true Catholic Church provides the narrow, but sure way to overcome the beast, but the vast majority of the world have already given in to the beast - the very one who will demand its mark on every person as Apocalypse foretells. Gabriel reminds us of two other dates and how one signaled one of America's greatest accomplishments on the beaches of Normandy, and the other sounded the clarion of satan's entrance into the mainstream of society 40 years ago tomorrow. The revolution of the sixties, combined with the revolution within the Church thanks to the smoke of satan from Vatican II on, have empowered the evil one and brought us to the brink of where the world is today on the eve of 6-6-06. Is the Antichrist near or is he already here and ready to be revealed? As Gabriel points out, time will tell, but prayer and reparation will tell more on how many souls will be saved. Regardless of what it signals, those who make light of the devil will have, as Gabriel writes, hell to pay. He explains in his column 6-6-06 Is More Than a Number or Date
    Miters that Matter
With this week being within the Octave of Pentecost we want to bring you a pastoral letter from His Excellency Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI, who wrote this twelve years ago for Pentecost, but it is as pertinent in 2006 as it was in 1994 or 36 A.D. for Catholic truth cannot change or ever be watered down or compromised, something Eternal Rome would never do, but modern Rome has been quick to do. The message and medium are endless and nothing ever changes in how the Sanctifier works within only One Church - the holy Catholic Church, the only One founded by Christ, and the only One which Jesus promised to send "His Spirit of Truth." The idea that the Perfect God would contradict Himself or later change His Mind and send the Holy Ghost to rebellious sects - including the conciliar church which, by its actions and decrees cannot possibly be Catholic - is pure modernist nonsense and His Excellency refutes such in his Pastoral Letter The Holy Ghost and the Catholic Church
    "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Pentecost Sunday, he reminds all that there are many kinds of spirits and only One which is the "Spirit of Truth" - the Holy Ghost Who is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity and Who proceeds from the Father and the Son. It is the Son Who promised He would send His Spirit and it is that Spirit which has always guided the Church Christ founded upon the Rock of Peter. But in these times, just as Holy Scripture has foretold and as previous reliable pontiffs such as Pope Pius XII alerted us, and as we see cropping up everywhere thanks to the total laxity and sell-out of the conciliar church, many spirits are arising which come not from Heaven but from the depths below, intended to confuse, deceive and to shackle souls forever inside the gates of Gehenna. Father points out just a few of the evidential false prophets today and their modus operandi. They love to sew fear, but those who trust in the Holy Ghost have nothing to fear even with the pending 6-6-6 coming up this Tuesday. Those with Faith are not superstitious, but, through the gift of Wisdom recognize fallacy and foolishness come from the horned one, not the Dove of Truth. Father explains in his sermon. Testing the Spirits
    Faithful to Tradition
John Gregory continues with the Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary corresponding with this time of Paschaltide. For the Third Glorious Mystery he appropriately brings us the meditation on the Descent of the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary as he once again utilizes Sacred Scripture to illustrate the wondrous events of Pentecost as the Birthday of the Church with the inerrant account of Saint Luke the Evangelist in the Acts of the Apostles. Just as Christ promised, He has sent His "Spirit of Truth." The Holy Ghost came with a rush of grace and inspiration, transforming the formerly apprehensive Apostles into men of virtuous courage who were now ready to fully take up the command Christ had given them. The charism of the Church was born that day and the Faith spread rapidly with three thousand on the first day. A glorious day it was! John shares his meditation on the Third Glorious Mystery The Descent of the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary

PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE

When it comes to all these ungodly laws being passed by liberal judges because of the lobbying and intimidation of a small minority out to do away with the natural and supernatural order, it is wise to keep in mind the following:

"Unjust laws are, properly speaking, NO LAWS!"
His Eminence Saint Robert Cardinal Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church

We invite you to find out for yourself the truth as we present a compendium portal of documents on the Faith in all aspects, past, present and to come. We guarantee what you read is in full harmony with the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, and we guarantee you that if you read it all with a discerning heart you will be able to decipher the wheat from the chaff. You will better understand what the absolutes of our Faith are and not be fooled by modernism and ambiguities, no matter how cleverly they are couched. Remember satan is the father of half-truths.
