And speaking of learning, we can clearly see that hasn't happened for after over a quarter of a century of being razzle-dazzled by the bafflegab of John Paul II, it all caught up with him on April Fool's Day when it was announced he had died. But, as is the modus operandi of modern Rome, even the sad end of this complicated soul had to be orchestrated to meet the spin of the Modernists so that he could conveniently die on a feast day he created "concelebrating from his bed." Yeah, right. He was dead, and then he was still alive. Was he Lazarus or was it all part of the cover-up modern Rome has become notorious for? Why the confusion? We can ask the same question about the Fatima secret, the Traditional Latin Mass and, who will ever forget their backpedaling on a simple statement about Mel Gibson's masterpiece. Was it as it was or wasn't it? They're still tripping over that faux pas. If any one was surprised that one of the conspirators of Vatican II was so quickly elected, then they're not going to see through the charade that Benedict XVI has fashioned. While neo-traditionalists and conservative conciliarists exclaim that Beneratz is going to return to the traditions of the Church, he visibly illustrates just the opposite. Yet they are blinded by the glitter of a few words of Latin sprinkled into a Protestant-Masonic-Pagan man-made rite. As 2005 ends, it is still a participatory service that is still as void of propitiatory sacrifice as it was when Paul VI ushered in the "abomination of desolation" on April 3, 1969. That is another reason the Sedevacantist issue rose to a fever pitch over the last few months of 2005 in which The Daily Catholic served as a forum for opinions from both sides in hopes of uniting traditional Catholics against the real enemy - the usurpers that non-sedes and sedes agree are creating a new religion. With that being a fact, we asked why all the furor against those who perceive the conciliar popes as not being Catholic? It was a year of goodbyes, beginning with, purportedly, the last visionary of Fatima Sister Lucia dos Santos, but many questions still existed whether that was the real Sister Lucy or a plant long ago compromised by the modernists. When Ratzinger immediately ordered her cell sealed, that only confirmed just such a conspiracy many traditional Catholics feared and why she never spoke out against what Our Lady had warned against. Nevertheless, her passing was the end of an era and the signal of a new era - one that is not positive in light of the failure to obey the Blessed Mother's words. It was a year of turmoil in the courts as the world held bedside vigil with Terri Schindler-Schiavo as her husband Michael and his corrupt attorneys and compromised judges outright murdered her while everyone sat helplessly by and her condition was gravely misrepresented by the media. Only prayer was the answer and, because they succeeded in their dastardly deed, those of lesser faith felt their prayers went unanswered. They did the same for Karol Wojtyla who manifested himself a tragic figure not only in history, but in his last days when it was evident that the conciliarists, who push self esteem, had little esteem for the shell of a man they propped up on the balcony for the world to gawk at. So many traditionalists prayed overtime for the soul of this man who had much to answer for his total lack of vigilance on his watch. Sooner or later God calls in His marks. John Paul II was one who tried to convince people to not be afraid, and yet he should have been very, very afraid considering what he had done to Christ's Mystical Body! No sooner had the media hordes packed up and left Rome than Benedict clarioned that it would be more of the same ol', same ol'! It began on the 88th anniversary of the First Apparition at Fatima by insulting the Blessed Mother further by Benedict's appointment of Sodom-by-the-Bay Archbishop Modernist William Levada to direct Ratzinger's own Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Talk about handing the fox the keys to the henhouse. That same day it was announced that the headquarters for Human Stem Cell Research would be, where else, Frisco! Between groveling to the Zionists in the synagogue of Cologne during the whirling-dirvishness of World Youth Day and subscribing to universal salvation on more than one occasion - such as claiming a heretic is in Heaven: Roger Schutz of Taize; from caving to the Chinese Patriotic Church to pushing environmentalism and safe-driving while souls careen out of control; from hoodwinking so many that modern Rome was going to "get tough" with an ambiguous (what else) document on "gay priests" (anyone told the conciliarists there is nothing "gay" about sodomy?) to appointing an openly pro-homosexual prelate for San Francisco. While neo-traditionalists oohed and ahhed over the 35 minutes of "crumbs" Benedict granted Bishop Bernard Fellay who had to leave by the back door, they have little explanation for the four and a half-hour private banquet Beneratz threw at the Vatican for his old heretic pal Hans Kung. Meanwhile, as abortions mounted, churches emptied or were closed, more sodomite sexual abuse cases came to the surface that threaten to blow the lid off the whole conciliar house of cards in 2006; and yet, the only issue these pansy-waisted false shepherds in the U.S. were concerned with was doing away with the death penalty. Do they know something we don't? Could it be they can see the handwriting on the wall and don't want to be put on deathrow because they have aided and abetted murderers of the innocent unborn and have been directly responsible for the death of so many souls by willfully leading them away from Christ's true Church? It will not go well for them at judgment time. While many are pushing the Santa Subito of John Paul the Worst, they should realize what it really takes to be a saint! Hopefully in 2006 more will understand that necessity. Below we present several of the "Best of 2005" and yet that could be a misnomer because, for the most part, there was very little positive that could be attributed to being "best." Rather, we term it thus for those were some of the best articles by our cadre of excellent writers published in 2005. And yet it is very difficult to choose which were the best, but for balance from each month, we've tried to give you a potpourri of five articles to best represent each month. So for the next few weeks, take your time and enjoy a look back at 60 of our top articles before we plunge ahead on January 15 with a new issue.

FEED MY SHEEP STRAIGHT STUFF
Griff Ruby cites the disunity of the Traditional Catholic movement as a major stumbling block to gaining greater ground and converting more Catholics back to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. He points out that it is time to put aside petty bickering and unite behind the denominator that identifies ALL Traditional Catholics: Our Faith, in which we totally embrace the Traditional Latin Mass - the divinely ordained Immemorial Mass of All Ages - and in which we steadfastly reject the heretical reforms of Vatican II and its masonic, Protestant man-made rite the Novus Ordo which have caused a great majority of souls to be misled.
Griff laments that too many traditional groups play pope to their fellow Traditional Catholics. What good does that do except reduce the ranks. With even rougher seas ahead for eternal Rome, we must pull together to man the sails of Truth and Tradition as a loyal crew working in unison for Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The only way to thwart the advanced ambiguity of modern Rome is by rowing together toward that point in the sea where we can be anchored with all our fellow Traditional Catholics between the Two Pillars of the Holy Eucharist and Devotion to Mary's Immaculate Heart, traditional devotions steeped in the Faith. Griff lays it out in his column The Supreme Scandal
Gabriel's Clarion ![]() Gabriel Garnica completes his series against the sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance in this week as we arrive at the 32nd anniversary of the despicable decision foisted on the public by a horrendous supreme court in 1973. The judges have the opportunity to make amends just as the original 'Roe' - Norma McCorvey - has repented and trying to make reparation for setting in motion the entire nightmare. But there is one who is furious and will not allow his twisted sacrifice to be diminished. Goading on the pro-aborts already solidly in his dark and nefarious camp, satan will do whatever he can to prevent the truth from coming to the fore for his greatest achievement was convincing the world he didn't exist. Once that was accomplished, he could blaspheme all the more with his mockery of the sacrifice of blood and the piercing of the womb with the same pitchfork pitch he hissed to Eve. Because of the lust for power and lust, he has been successful in pruning the world of the innocent lives of the unborn and the raping the souls of so many pro-aborts, all part of Satan's Twisted Sacrifice
Catholic PewPOINT ![]() Editor Michael Cain takes this pivotal day when it all began 46 years ago to refute the outrageous error being promulgated by Novus Ordophiles that "Quo Primum is no longer in effect." He fires back with a salvo of ammunition to prove the fallacy of such a statement in providing evidence that not only that statement is bogus but also in showing that the comment "we can't judge a pope" is meaningless for indeed we can't but Holy Mother Church can and has well before these men who would be popes were ever even a sparkle in their mothers' eyes. He furnishes an arsenel of truths in the infallible decrees of previous reliable pontiffs who stressed the true meaning of ut unum sint in uncompromisingly upholding the thrice-proclaimed dogma Extra Ecclesam Nulla Salus which today is under such assault by the usurpers who have sought to change Catholic doctrine to accommodate man, not God. Have any of these 'experts' read Paul's words in Galatians 1: 6-10? Cain provides the wake-up call in his candid editorial Quo Primum and Forever are synonymous!
The Agony of Aggiornamento ![]() ![]() Dovetailing from Gabriel's column, we provide a lengthy, but fascinating secular account from the very reliable senior editor of the now defunct LOOK Magazine on January 25, 1966. Joseph Roddy's account is not far from the truth of how the Jews dared to invade the doctrines and dogmas of Holy Mother Church and how the progressive prelates were so malleable to heresy. What makes this so interesting is both when it was written, shortly after the close of the Second Vatican Council in volume 30, no. 2 of the January 25, 1966 issue of Look Magazine, and the influence back then of the American press, most notably the Zionist bias of The New York Times as Gabriel Garnica points out in his column today. It also shows the intent of the progressivists to undermine the Faith for political purposes. Long before Nostra Aetate, long before the shameful apologies and wimpering at the wailing wall, the agenda had already been set to form a new church that would be politically correct in the advancement of the State of Israel and power to Zionist interests in forming a New World Order. No man can serve two masters and the Vatican II church opted for mammon over the Church founded by Christ. It's all evident in Roddy's account of 39 years ago on How The Jews Changed Catholic Thinking

Transition to Tradition Catholic PewPOINT ![]() ![]() Editor Michael Cain poses some thought-provoking questions about the death of Sister Lucia for it has created many more questions than answers as the modern Vaticanistas go into defensive mode. Events over the past week have revealed a few things already, but there are still many, many pieces of the puzzle missing. We know, as always is the fate of those who fabricate, that eventually they'll trip over their own tongues for they have left a long trail of lies and cover-ups. Is that really the visionary Sister Lucia in the coffin, or was that an imposter? Considering the subterfuge over the past 40 years, you can't put it past them. Now the question arises: what are they hiding? Short of CSI, Cain suggests more of the faithful demand answers, make noise, and expose the charlatans before they totally bury the purpose of Fatima and spin it into their own ecumaniacal agenda to establish the One World Order and the advent of the Antichrist. Fatima has always held the answer. The problem lies with those who know and keep it hidden. What are they hiding? Souls have a right to know, have a need to know for the sake of the Faith, for the sake of salvation. Cain pulls no punches in his editorial
Only Heaven Knows!
Christus Primus ![]() With this issue we introduce to The Daily Catholic readers Timothy Duff, who has taught Traditional Catholicism for decades. Tim is the author of the work The Church is not above Christ; thus we have selected the title Christus Primus - "Christ First" as the title for his column. He debuts today with something we should all realize. While he specifically identifies Fr. Paul Kramer, author of The Devil's Final Battle, for acknowledging the titles of heretics, it is a bad habit that many, many traditional writers have fallen into. This editor is guilty as well for it is admittedly one of those habits that are hard to kick, especially after so many years of being programmed to be blindly beholden to the Novus Ordinarian Lodges. The facts are as Christ points out in this coming Sunday's Gospel, "He who is not with Me, is against Me. And he that gathereth not with Me scattereth." If one is true to Christ, then they will not change one iota of the Sacred Deposit of the Faith. We can see that has been done wholesale. Ergo, those changers are not with Christ, but against Him. They may be Freemasons, they may be clowns, they are definitely Modernists, but they are not Catholic. Tim points out simply where we must stand and what we must state in following the infallible, perennial Living Magisterium of the Church guided by the holy wisdom of St. Robert Cardinal Bellarmine who addressed this very subject. How can we give recognition to anyone who has not entered by the door of grace, but another way - as in through "the smoke of satan"? Tim urges all to recognize the enemy and do not encourage him for he is a wolf who seeks to scatter the sheep as Tim explains in his column
Heretics are not Catholics
"Qui legit, intelligat" ![]() In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday of Lent, he packs a wallop in identifying the very problem those who have stayed with the Novus Ordo face today. They are bishopless and priestless for they have condoned the ransacking of traditional forms, especially in the Sacraments of Holy Orders. Father reminds us of the chicanery of the modernists who have done all they can to expunge Pius XII's Apostolic Constitution Sacramentum Ordinis to cover their tracks. Father Louis points out that it is not available anywhere on the web and we are going to do all in our power to procure this Acta Apostolicae Sedis from November 30, 1947 so that all will know the fullness of truth spoken of by Father in his no-nonsense sermon today. These men who have accepted modernism may look like bishops, they may sound like bishops (even though they don't ACT like bishops), but they are NOT bishops for, as Father reveals, their consecrations are not valid. Think about this as talk heats up of the impending Conclave in John Paul II's waning days and realize most all of those entering the Sistine Chapel are not even true cardinals, let alone priests or bishops. What does that portend for the next man who will claim to be pope? The apostasy is so great that it has laid waste to practically the entire conciliar church. Look around you at the ruins. There is scant left to choose from. Had these men been ordained according to the truly Catholic Rite, then, even were they to be the most vile of heretics, they would still be priests, albeit bad ones, but authentic ones. For some that is the case, but for those ordained according to Paul VI's changes, it wouldn't matter if they were in heresy or were the most holiest of men, they still are not properly ordained priests in Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. As Our Lord states in today's Gospel, "He who is not with Me is against Me." When the laity realize this truth by fleeing from the Novus Ordo Lodges and their Grand Masters in droves, then they will pray all the more earnestly for true bishops. That plea will be heard in Heaven only when NOM presbyters are re-ordained in accordance to the form and matter set in stone by Pius XII and begin to celebrate on a daily basis universally the Mass of All Ages and live the Faith as it has always meant to be lived. Father lays it out in his sermon based on Our Lord's words in Luke 11: 17. A Kingdom Brought to Desolation
Echoes of True Catholicism ![]()
Dr. Marian Therese Horvat shares concerns about the secretivity surrounding the death of the last Fatima visionary Sister Lucia de Jesus dos Santos. Just as we asked on these pages last week, what are they hiding? so also Marian asks some pertinent questions and suspects with good evidence that Sister Lucia was getting 'bad information' as in false information, as in lies about the state of the church and the world. Marian also offers the conjecture that Sr. Lucia might very well have been silenced and suppressed in light of what her cousin Jacinta had told her before the latter died over 80 years ago: "When the time comes, speak, do not hide yourself." But hiding herself was the very thing she did or rather what the modernists did in hiding her away in a Carmelite convent in Coimbra, Portugal. Since 1970 she had been heavily censored and protected more than a Novus Ordo bishop hiding from the media or Traditional Catholics. What is on Sr. Lucy's computer, what words are in her diary that the modern Vatican institution is so afraid of revealing? What of the continuing corruption of the world and the nonconversion of Russia? Marian points out that the proof is in the pudding. Gone is the intercessor to stay the hand of the Father from spilling forth the Cup of Chastisement that runneth over. Now it's the time when deceit will be revealed, and God's hand will wash clean the decay that has permeated His Church effecting the entire world. Here on earth only those who survive the coming chastisements will know the answers. Marian explains in her column at Tradition In Action Forebodings about the Death of Sister Lucy

Gabriel's Clarion Fiat Voluntas Dei ![]() Timothy Duff, who has taught Traditional Catholicism for decades and is the author of the work The Church is not above Christ, is also a consummate expert on Venerable Mary Agreda's masterful work Mystical City of God and ties that in so beautifully with the healing effect of sincere tears. He completes in this issue his essay on Holy Tears with part two. In part one he conveyed the efficacious tears shed by Jesus and His Blessed Mother for us and how we have prompted those tears through our sins. In his second part, Tim illustrates how the importance of the tears of the saints and, yes, the innocent. Tears are a language all their own... From the most helpless child to the exalted Mother of God tears express desires and touch hearts in a way words cannot. What we may not obtain through ordinary means may often be obtained through tears. Tim explains in part two of

Catholic PewPOINT ![]() Editor Michael Cain equates the situation of these times, this month, this very day with the fall of the mighty Caesar 2049 years ago. Caesar and so many emperors before and after him, empires, kingdom and nations before and after have come and gone, but only one Ruler and one institution He established continues after two millennia. That would be Christ and His Mystical Bride which has been ravaged and raped by the enemies of the Church who come in all sizes and shapes of togas, all the better to conceal their daggered agendas until the time to strike from within and without in attempting to inflict the mortal wound to His holy Church. Though they have flailed and failed, they have still weakened the Church and society by not standing strong against the hideous crimes of today's society. Cain emphasizes the futility and folly in placing trust in man while neglecting what God wills, all because of political correctness and man's determined agenda to expunge God from the equation. The mighty Caesar is still referenced to this day, perpetuated in Sacred Scripture by Our Lord's words which tripped up the Scribes and Pharisees who sought to trap Christ. Today man is trapped because he has betrayed his Savior yet still expects to be saved. What pride! What gall! Cain explains in his editorial for the Ides of March
"Beware the 'Hideous' of March!"
Pro-Life Prescriptions ![]()
After a long hiatus, Dr. Frank Joseph returns, weighing in on the travesty of the Terri Schiavo case for the crux of the matter is at the very essence of his subject matter column "Pro-Life Prescriptions." He asks where were the missing-in-action Democrats as Republicans go above and beyond the call of duty to live and act as pro-lifers for the sake of one person, proving the worth that even one person is worth it all for Terri Schiavo is made in the image and likeness of God. Judge Greer, Michael Schiavo, George Felos and pro-abort Democrats and those pushing euthanasia so hard don't want to hear that. They have railroaded Terri, defying writs of Habeas Corpus and other legal measures to stop the unjust justices who have trampled on the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Terri Schiavo is being treated worse than a violent criminal. The liberals rant and rave over abuse of terrorists, but turn their head the other way when it comes to the innocent. Whether it's abortion or euthanasia, it's still downright murder and there's a price to pay for killing. God said so! Frank emphasizes this in his column Dead People Tell No Tales!
HOT ISSUES ![]() With death imminent for Theresa Marie Kathleen Schindler-Schiavo, Gary Morella weighs in with a troubling problem that Bob and Mary Schindler will have to face after all the grief. Fighting for her life was not enough, now they must fight for her fate after death. Michael Schiavo wants to cremate her immediately if not sooner while the Schindlers want a Catholic funeral and burial, the only acceptable requiem requirements for Catholics. But Judge Greer now has usurped God Himself by not only denying communion to Terri on Easter Sunday, but dictating that she cannot have a proper, mandatory burial. Are Greer and Schiavo joined at the hip? Could that be near the hip pockets where the wallets reside? One has to wonder at the bizarre circumstances and done-deals that have been perpetrated against Terri and her immediate blood family under the cover of law. The guilty are provided every precaution and right while, tragically today the innocent are persecuted and tortured. Yes, we are no better than Nazi Germany or the Atheistic Soviet Union. Sieg heil, comrade liberals? Gary expounds in his short essay

"Father, forgive them..." Feed My Sheep ![]()
In the aftermath of all that has happened recently, we can see very clearly the writing on the wall. The transition of time and events have illustrated what it portends, especially now with the fate of well over a billion and more in the hands of the sorry lot of cardinals gathering in Rome. Apostasy rules and the portal widens for the Antichrist to manifest his agenda in what does not purport well for those of faith who seek harmony and happiness. It will not be so on this earth which will transform into a conflagration and conglomerate when the temblor of terror will torment souls all the more, shaking, sacking, and sorting out the few God-fearing humans from the nihilistic, ghostly, inhumane, and unworldly creatures who will have grown more gigantic and grotesque from feasting on humanism, ecumenism and modernism as we can foresee with The Transition
The Sanity of Sanctity ![]() ![]() As talk of who is papabile heats up before the conclave begins, they would be wise to take to heart the words of the holy bishop and Doctor of the Church Saint Alphonsus Liguori, known as the "Keeper of the Moral Compass." 230 years ago he wrote a letter to an unknown bishop during the time of sede vacante between the pontificates of Clement XIV and Pius VI. St. Alphonsus also wrote: "The devil has always attempted, by means of the heretics, to deprive the world of the Mass, making them precursors of the Antichrist, who, before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish the Holy Sacrament of the altar, as a punishment for the sins of men, according to the prediction of Daniel 'And strength was given him against the continual sacrificer'." He was right on about that as we now see what occurred on April 3, 1969, and his sage and sobering words below should give all pause to pray and unabashedly continue to preach the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. The holy Doctor's sage and pious thoughts on the election of a new Pontiff is wise advice that should be heeded today, but most probably won't because, as St. Alphonsus says "in a word, there is a need for a general reform of all clerics and ecclesiastics if there is to be any improvement in the present great corruption of morals among the laity." And he was talking about the times when our country was founded! Imagine his words today in light of the apostasy running so rampant from Rome on down! John Vennari adds, to quote Saint Alphonsus, “There is need for prayer and much prayer”. We present The "Keeper of the Moral Compass" on the Election of the Next Pope
THE STRAIGHT STUFF ![]() As has been established, Griff Ruby is well-known for taking on tough subjects and not shying away from controversy. Today, despite the calls to take it easy on the new man in charge in modern Rome - Benedict XVI - the heretical bread crumbs Ratzinger has left behind, beginning with the famous subsistit in in Lumen Gentium, will forever haunt him until he wipes the slate clean and recants those two little words and all that they imply. Only then will we begin to see a healing and a truly Catholic reconnection of many members to the lifeline of Holy Mother Church - the Mystical Body of Christ. Griff brings up an interesting fact that it is not so important as who is in charge in Rome today, but what that person - in this case Benedict XVI - is in charge of! Considering how it was his pushing the ecumenical agenda in the Vatican II documents, he has basically painted himself into a corner where the most radical of factions try to justify their position in light of Lumen Gentium. Griff explains how and why Benedict XVI has his work cut out for him and it would have to be a total 180 for him to do the right thing. Ruby documents this in his essay Benedict XVI can save the Church, but will he?
Catholic PewPOINT ![]() ![]() Today marks the end of the ten-day moratorium in which editor Michael Cain has withheld comments about Benedict XVI until the inevitable was only too obvious. Now, on the vigil of one of the greatest saints known for making sure popes adhered to the Faith, Cain speaks out. He does not rant on about what Ratzinger/Benedict has said, but in just what he has done over the first ten days. Sadly, that says volumes of what his papacy portends. As Cain points out, that is not good and in emulating tomorrow's saint the holy Catherine of Siena, we must be vigilant of the Deposit of the Faith and demand the hierarchs do the same and more. Cain shows the slide toward perdition so visually depicted in the papal coats of arms of the men who have sat on the throne of Peter over the past half century. He lays out seven diadems that signal the Ratz-glitz we can sadly expect more of in the shell game Benedict XVI plans on playing out in the same manner he did when a cardinal and before as a periti at Vatican II. Cain explains in his editorial Pray for the conversion of Benedict XVI

Mass Confusion "Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday Within the Octave of the Ascension, he offers tribute to all mothers and reminds everyone that the greatest gift you can give to your mother is to pray for her by remembering her at every True Mass. Nothing pleases God more. It also pleases our Heavenly Mother who has, like a loving mother, tried to help her children only to be rebuked, forgotten or, as we've seen with the Fatima messages, her words manipulated to suit man's ecumaniacal agenda. Yet, like a mother scorned she does not reject her children in her tears, but loves ever more tenderly with her Immaculate Heart. But love means sacrifice and she asks us to heed the words of Divine Revelation and realize there is a price to pay for salvation. In this age of instant gratification, the penance of self-mortification is the toner to keep the muscles of our heart and soul firm. If we give in to the novelty and whims of the man-made New Order and place worldly things above spiritual, then we become flabby and are easy prey to the mortal cramps of conscience which will surely trip us up on the path to Heaven. It will leave us crippled, to be scraped up by satan and discarded in hell. Father encourages us to turn to our Blessed Mother for protection and then follow the logical, common sense - the salvific words of St. Augustine. Father explains in his sermon
"The strength that God furnishes"
Fiat Voluntas Dei ![]() With Pentecost practically here and tomorrow's recognition of the 88th Anniversary of the First Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, it is important for us all to carry on the Church Militant's role in upholding, defending and spreading the True Faith. Thus, Timothy Duff, who has taught Traditional Catholicism for decades and is also a consummate expert on Venerable Mary Agreda's masterful work Mystical City of God, provides a primer on how to help our friends trapped in the Novus Ordo establishment to see the truths of the True Mass, the True Faith and to better understand why the New Order 'Mass' is not from Christ nor from the Church He established! It is not Catholic! The title of this article seems obvious enough, does it not? What Catholic could be found who would not agree that the Church is not above Christ? Yet the belief that the Catholic Church has more authority than Jesus Christ Himself is actually the very core of the error of those who attend the Novus Ordo Missae or "New Order Mass" (NOM). It is a sacred duty of charity for those whom the Sacred Heart of Jesus has mercifully called to attend exclusively the Traditional Latin Mass to desire the same grace for others. That is why Tim shares this "how to explain why" to help our friends truly understand Catholic truth as he explains so clearly in his magnificent essay
The Church is Not Above Christ
Echos of True Catholicism ![]() ![]() ![]() Dr. Marian Therese Horvat has ended her silence. Who could continue to be silent in the face of the aberrations Benedict XVI has been committing? She details the offenses and documents why it purports to very bad news for all Catholics, especially with the appointment as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith of a known lukewarm louse in the person of the progressivist archbishop of San Francisco William Levada. This is akin to allowing the fox to guard the henhouse with the wolf's permission. Any safeguards of the Faith that the CDF may have protected however flimsily before with Ratzinger in charge, are now open to the whims of one who was - make that "is" - Roger Mahony's classmate and buddy. That in itself is enough to send shivers through the spine of not only every Traditional Catholic, but decent Novus Ordinarians as well for Mahony is the worst of the apostate bishops. What about Levada? Marian also covers that in her article
The True Colors of Benedict XVI
Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica takes a break from his on-going series on the Catholic Identity Crisis in the USA to focus on tomorrow's Double of the First Class Feast of Corpus Christi. He applies what he calls "The Calvary Test" to show the vast chasm existing between the tried and true Tridentine Rite of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and what passes today as the "Mass" in the Novus Ordo establishment. Gabriel puts it very clearly in quizzing the reader on how to decipher if the Mass they are attending contains the essence of the propitiatory sacrifice, if in their parish "the altar is an extension of Calvary." He points out that "This simple test will guide us toward what is and is not fitting for this most Sacred Sacrifice. Any behavior, actions, thoughts, attitudes, approaches, and views that would detract from such an experience and disrespect the significance of that event is therefore evil." He explains in detail in his inspiring column The Calvary Test

Fiat Voluntas Dei Books you can count on!
In today's issue and in conjunction with today's Hall of Honor recipient Marian Therese Horvat, Cyndi Cain brings the reader a heartfelt review of the latest book offered by Tradition In Action - The Admirable Life of of Mother Mariana. Cyndi's review is different than most book reviews for she files nothing critical about the book, but rather enlightens the reader to her own experiences from reading this marvelous work of a Portuguese Military Officer who converted after Mother Mariana appeared to him in 1790. In the manner of St. Paul, he became a priest and went on to document the life of Mother Mariana which, as Our Lady foretold, would not be known until the end of the 20th Century. Now it is known thanks to Dr. Horvat who has translated and edited into English the priest's 600-page hand-written manuscript. It was published by TIA just a few months ago. See why Cyndi considers this such a powerful tool of spiritual reading in inspiring each soul to strive to emulate the heroic virtue of Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres who became a victim soul, making reparation for our very times. Cyndi encourages all to learn the story of the approved apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success and the holy visionary intrinsically linked to our times through her sufferings. We provide a rare glimpse of Cyndi's insight in her review A Most Admirable Advocate for Our Time
THE STRAIGHT STUFF ![]() Griff Ruby today presents an excellent, eye-opening lesson to be learned in the similarities of the causes and effects of Henry VIII's Declaration of Royal Supremacy and the ill-fated Vatican II document Lumen Gentium. In these days when the Anglican institution (church of England) is going to hell in a hand-basket and the "Vatican institution" (conciliar church) is following right behind, Griff hits the nail on the head with the analogy of what happened in England and what happened 430 years later. Both 'declarations of rebellion' were the 'chop' that lopped off from the True, Living Tree of Christ those who chose to stay with the branch - a severed, withered branch - which is no longer part of the True Tree of Holy Mother Church. Christ is the vine and we are the branches, but if those branches are disconnected, then they are separated from the very Church planted by Christ in Matthew 16: 19. They are destined, as our Lord asserts in Matthew 7: 19, to be cast into the fire. Just as it did in England four centuries ago, so also today the pruning has pared back the True Church greatly. Griff shows the correlation of the situation that befell England and the epikea of today when true shepherds, though only a few, remain faithful to the Truths and Traditions and justifies how their continuing to perpetuate the Faith by ordaining priests and consecrating bishops is the very same thing St. John Fisher would have done had he not been martyred. It would have been considered the right and proper thing to do then as a loyal Catholic resisting the Church of England; so also today it is the right and proper thing to do for the Traditional bishops to do likewise no matter what modern Rome says, since, by the modernists' acceptance of Lumen Gentium, they have cut themselves off from the True Church and hold no authority in her Founder's eyes. Griff explains in his magnificent apologetic essay A Lesson from Jolly Old England
On The BattleLine Atila Sinke Guimarães provides a succinct visual presentation of arguments on why John Paul II should never be considered for sainthood. Yet, his successor Benedict XVI, in an effort to be politically correct and lap onto the popular coattails of Karol Wojtyla, has announced that as of June 28 he will waive the 5-year waiting period, thus putting his predecessor on the fast track for instant canonization; a process put into gear by none other than the man who occupied the chair of Peter for 27 years and during that time greatly scandalized countless souls by his amoral actions and disregard for Catholic decency. As Atila points out, is this someone who edifies the virtues and should be emulated? Hardly. He provides photos and documentation that if Benedict persists in this warped logic of doing whatever Wojtyla wants, it will only prove more evidentially the great deviation from the True Faith of Eternal Rome. He explains in his Bird's Eye View column The Canonization of Wojtyla - the moral-free pope mindless miters ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We share some excellent insight from Gary L. Morella, who provides commentary on a report from LifeSiteNews.com last week in which an avowed sodomite pol Bill Siksay had the nerve to question Catholic truth and what is even worse, the one supposedly representing those absolutes - Calgary's
'Bishop' Fred Henry - gave such a weak-kneed response that St. John Fisher would have vomited him out of his mouth just as Our Lord treats the lukewarm in Apocalypse 3: 15-16. Gary applies the wisdom of the Angelic Doctor St. Thomas Aquinas to a situation that badly needs it. Calgary's Henry has been touted as Canada's 'best bishop' for he is one of the few who has consistently spoken out against abortion and sodomy, and yet he is reeling just like all the other conciliar 'bishops' as the liberal antagonists within the Canadian Parliament maneuver to elevate the unnatural hideous sins of abortion and sodomy to a natural right and any one speaking out against these evils will have hell to pay to the state north of the border. Perhaps it is that God is allowing such aberration because the presbyters and 'bishops' have compromised so much in abandoning the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, beginning with the Immemorial Mass of Tradition. Gary illustrates the bitter 'fruits' of the conciliarists for abdicating their authority and recognizing godless organizations like the UN or the State which has usurped God and His Laws. The cancer is almost totally metastasized in Canada, now it spreads south to the vulnerable legislative and judicial chambers in the United States which are already in the throes of corruption. Just as Our Lady said at Fatima, only Prayer, Penance and Reparation will save the countless lost souls mesmerized by the world, the flesh and the devil because the safeguards always provided by the Church until Vatican II have been compromised and, even worse, abandoned. Gary gets to the point in his essay we have titled

With the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision to reject the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, Dr. Frank Joseph registers his indignation that this judicial tyranny, which Gabriel Garnica zeroed in on yesterday, is running amok and, like Gabriel, he points to the culprits who are responsible for this - the judges, politicians and bishops. Frank gets down to basics like the Constitution of the United States and Declaration of Independence and Ten Commandments to show the absolute diabolical disorientation of these men in their maddening agendas and that it is time for the common man to rise up and say, "enough! God is in charge, not you!" It all comes down to, as Frank points out that never have the opportunities been more available for President Bush to appoint more men like Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court bench in the quest to rid this land of the grievous sin that cries to Heaven for vengeance. Of course, as Frank shows, few know this because those entrusted with the spiritual welfare of souls have abrogated their responsibility because they are curs of the Democratic Party and a curse to the sanctity of life. Frank explains in his column The Gall! How Dare They!?!
The Sanity of Sanctity ![]() Down through the ages Mount Carmel has been a rock of inspiration and sanctification from the time of Elias to present day. The story of Carmel is prose, poetry and prayer and basically the benchmark of the Blessed Virgin Mary's integral role as Advocate, Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix of all graces. Carmel has been favored by Our Lady as foretold in the Old Testament and as manifested to St. Simon Stock in 1251 when she bestowed on him the Brown Scapular and the amazing promise of ultimate salvation to all who abide by the rules of the Scapular. In addition, at Lourdes the Blessed Mother appeared to Bernadette as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on this day 147 years ago and in the same heavenly garb on her final apparition at Fatima on October 13, 1917. We provide a thorough backgrounder on the meaning and magnificence of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and its history, masterfully conveyed by Dom Prosper Gueranger in his masterpiece The Liturgical Year as well as the Act of Consecration to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in honor of today's Double Major Commemoration in a feature we have chosen to call The Lasting Magnificence, Grace, and Power of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Gabriel's Clarion Gabriel Garnica offers the lasso of faith, hope and charity in warning all of the marauders who have galloped across the last 40 years. With apologies to Grantland Rice, we paraphrase the following: Outlined against the black and white tenets of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, the Four Horsemen have galloped. In the Apocalypse they are known as famine, pestilence, destruction and death. These are only aliases to the New Order. Their real names are Feelings, Unity, Self and Pride. They formed the crest of the ecumenical cyclone before which another fighting force - the noble Church Militant - was swept over the precipice as countless souls looked on, hapless, dumb-struck sheep, bleating in blind obedience to the bewildering panorama stampeding across the wide arid-gray expanse of lukewarm hearts. Gabriel identifies the bandits upon their steeds in his column The Four Horsemen of The New Order
Traditional Insights ![]() Mario Derksen continues in his refutation of Kenneth Whitehead's arguments for justifying the ecumenical movement begun at Vatican II. Basing Catholic truth on Pope Pius XI's encyclical condemning ecumenism Mortalium animos, Mario shows how any variation from the Catholic Faith in action, gesture or words gives scandal and the appearance of, if not actual, heresy. Derksen picks up where he left last week and expands his argument by illustrating just a few actions and gestures ![]() ![]() that prove the conciliar church has veered far from the Catholic path. He backs this up with Pope Pius XII's warning against false oecumenism in his encyclicalHumani generis and the Church's Instruction on the Ecumenical Movement, ushered in 1949 where the Holy Father identified the dangerous infifferentism that can arise. Reality Check Christ or chaos ![]() Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey exposes the cancer that is the Indult and which was first infested into the mainstream in 1988 with the oft-regarded illegal Ecclesia Dei. This motu proprio was basically a spin-job to cover up the glaring presence of the Society of St. Pius X which, no matter the conciliar disgust for Tradition, the SSPX and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre were not going away. Despite the illegal excommunication by a most questionable regime which over the last 40 years has done everything they can to desperately defend the indefensible, Tradition has grown stronger. Thanks to groups like the SSPX, Independent chapels, CMRI, SSPV and other Traditional orders, the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church have been upheld and preserved uncompromisingly. This has only angered the Novus Ordo miters who, in their desperation, are coercing those who have lived by the Indult to accept the abomination of desolation of the New Order.Tom points this out and documents that the whole purpose of the Indult was not to provide for the spiritual needs of the faithful, but to put the SSPX and other Traditional orders "out of business." To their chagrin it isn't working for the principle holds that if it is from God nothing can stop it. Conversely, if it is not of God it will stop itself. Mmmm, could that be the reason the conciliar church is imploding upon itself? Could it, as we have hammered home here endlessly, something to do with Our Lord's words in Matthew 7: 15-20 and with today's Gospel that "no man can serve two masters"? Because of that we do not share the enthusiasm Tom might hold for the upcoming meeting between Bishop Bernard Fellay and Benedict XVI a week from tomorrow. Nevertheless, Tom provides some answers in his article at Christ or chaos which we feel are worthy of promoting, The Insult of the Indult
Catholic PewPOINT ![]() Editor Michael Cain completes the third of three editorials on the current situation with World Youth Days. Today he pinpoints the problem and that is that Benedict XVI is made from the same mold as his conciliar predecessors and will do all in his power to protect what he was most instrumental in effecting - the ecumaniacal humanism that no longer believes in the infallible thrice-defined dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus. Benedict, in his first foray outside of Italy and in returning to the scene of the origins of the crime illustrated all too well that all optimism that he will make things different and return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church are pure poppycock as was only too evident in his pandering in the synagogue or schmoozing with the Protestants, infidels and others. Nowhere did he express Christ's command of Mark 16: 15-16 and therein is the proof that the pope is not Catholic. Cain reminds all of who Ratzinger really is and what his status is if we are to obey the Magisterium of the Church. He explains in his editorial The Rhine Flows Into the Tiber...and Back!
Fingerprints of Anathema? If World Youth Day wasn't abominable enough for you, then you won't be shocked at the circus that took place in Taize, France two days later when the ecumaniacal prelates with Benedict's blessing practically canonized a non-Catholic in giving him a Catholic funeral - something not only unheard of, but totally illegal. But then those presiding weren't Catholic so it was a Protestant funeral with Catholic trappings, erh, if you consider charismatic emotions Catholic which they are not. After an introduction by the editor, we return it over to Gary L. Morella to dissect the charade modern Rome is pulling off with their obvious syncretism and heresy. Anathema sit all the way around. After this fiasco do you really think Benedict is going to understand or be open to anything Bishop Fellay proposes this next Monday? If you do you must be on Taize brownies or whatever it is that makes them so high on the Lord while ignoring the very tenets Christ taught. The smudges of anathema are everywhere and Gary pinpoints them in Giving the GATE to the Conciliar Ecumaniacs
Traditional Insights ![]() ![]() Mario Derksen takes a brief break in his refutation of Kenneth Whitehead's arguments for justifying the ecumenical movement begun at Vatican II. Basing Catholic truth on Pope Pius XI's encyclical condemning ecumenism Mortalium animos, by focusing in this month's end issue on the insanity and no-excuse errors of one Fr. Joseph Ratzinger, aka Benedict 16. Mario illustrates the contradictions and downright heresies apparent in his words before his election and shows the continuous pattern of modernism exhibited by this Bavarian-born cleric. Fresh from the syncretism shown in Cologne, Mario points out how this is more of the same ol' Vatican II bafflegab trying to imprint the heretical V2 council as indelible while trying to consign an authentic dogmatic Council - Vatican I - to historical interpretation. The facts, as pointed out by Pope Paul IV in his encyclical Cum ex apostolatus officio, shows that any one deviating from the Faith in any variation from Catholic Truth in action, gesture or words gives scandal and by this deviation ceases to be Catholic and loses all authority. Thus, Mario asks are we really to believe that the man placed in charge of the Deposit of the Faith for 20 years simply doesn't know Catholic Dogma? That is preposterous, almost as preposterous as the denial of many of these very facts. Mario documents this in Part Ten An Attempt at a Defense (5)

Living in Tradition Traditional Thoughts ![]() In honor of the holy Pontiff Pope St. Pius X whose Double Feast we celebrate on September 3rd - First Saturday this year - we highlight the only true Pope to be canonized since Pope Saint Pius V. We provide a detailed essay on his life and accomplishments for during his reign all was right within Holy Mother Church. It is true that outside the gates of Rome, the Modernists, Masons and Communists were plotting, but due to his strong pontificate they didn't dare show their heads, remaining in the shadows. One would have thought his strong decrees including the Oath Against Modernism and his encyclical on the dangers of Modernism Pascendi Dominici Gregis would have been enough to stave off what he referred to Modernism as the "Mother of all heresies," but then who would have thought Quo Primum would ever be tinkered with either. Nearly a century later we must remember the wisdom of this holy Pope and do all we can to restore all things in Christ - Instaurare in omnia Christo. That begins with each one of us doing our small part. His life helps inspire us as you'll see in The Pope of the Blessed Sacrament
The Straight Stuff ![]() Because of its vital importance and because you have a month to digest what Griff Ruby has presented that to so many is one of the greatest arguments to expose the very point of how, when, what, where, who and especially why modern Rome broke away from Eternal Rome. We have compiled his six-part installments into one compendium for September so you can see all the components and nuances and undeniable facts that prove Griff's point. Thus, we have taken his series earlier this year entitled "What's your picture?" and altered the title to better describe the subterfuge as Griff takes us past the spin right through the skin to the bare bones and then fleshes out what really happened in 1964. Griff lays it all out in his series we've entitled for this issue Down the Yellow Brick Road to Apostasy: The Lumen Gentium Syndrome

Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, we present a short but edifying work that captures the essence of the priesthood - the dedication and the power from the most humble of God's creatures for the responsibilities are so heavy that the priest carries with him as custodian of the most precious commodity there is - souls, that he must be in tune with God's will and carry out his duties in loving obedience without ever casting any hint of scandal or placing worldly things before Heavenly things in every word, deed and thought of God's precious few priests that remain today. There is a mighty big difference between the Traditional priests and those who profess the new rite. The former follows what God has deigned, the latter most often what man desires. That is why we place such a premium on good priests as Father points out The Value of Traditional Priests
Symphony of Suffering AS we head into our annual Summer Hiatus Issue, Cyndi Cain shares her heart with readers everywhere. To many this is a rare treat since she has written very little, choosing as God's will to remain in the background most of the time and being the powerful prayer warrior who is the "Mary" rather than "Martha". She has led a very contemplative lifestyle, offering up numerous Holy Rosaries throughout the day and communing with Our Lord and His Blessed Mother in her deep meditative prayer life where she offers her redemptive suffering in expiation for the sins of her family, in the Universal Church and throughout the world. It is not an easy life, but she has forged on as a noble soul who asks for so little and gives so much. She has come out of her self-imposed exile from the public eye for this issue to do what is so difficult for her, for us, and that is to inform our readers of her dire straits medical-wise. When plan A and plan B don't work, we must turn to plan C and that is what she shares in her inspiring words in this month when we take special notice of why Our Lady weeps so. Cyndi pours out her heart and soul in Vale of Tears

"Qui legit, intelligat" Gabriel's Clarion ![]() Gabriel Garnica brings home the point that close only counts in the game of horseshoes, never in gambling for souls and that is the risky business of those who emit toxic influences by writing half-truths and twisting the Faith to suit their lifestyle with little regard for God's Will or His Laws. Gabriel points to four specifically guilty of this, one non-Catholic and three who claim to be 'Catholic' but by their words and deeds show only too clearly they are anything but - not even close whether it be horseshoes or salvation. Gabriel exposes these charlatans and identifies the middle ground of demonic compromise they choose as their pulpit and the obvious subjectivity of radical, progressive, pagan and pathetic rationale for spewing their swill. He wouldn't advise horseshoes as a hobby for these goats because they've already shown only too well that they wouldn't even be close since they have missed the mark where it truly counts - with God. Gabriel explains in his column Faith is Not Horseshoes
Mass Confusion ![]() ![]() With that pagan holiday blaring its presence this week culminating in the day of the devil next Monday, John Gregory hammers home what really has haunted so many over the past 40 years: Vatican Two. One of the mechanisms for haunting souls into believing ghost stories not of the True Spirit but of a spooky synthetic synergy was the V2 document Sacrosanctum Concilium on the Sacred Liturgy. At least back in 1963 it was still sacred until the Council and Paul VI got their grimy hands on the sacrosanct. 42 years later we can clearly see how they have turned what once were holy churches into haunted houses. John dissects this dastardly, spooky document in part to show just how scary it was and has proven to be: the devil in the details. He makes his points in commentary on the conciliar document with TRICK or TREAT or THREAT!
Reality Check ![]() ![]() Father Kevin Vaillancourt provides a poignant piece that refutes the false hopes of conservatives and neo-traditionalists who buy into the idea that Benedict XVI is going to return the church of Rome to more traditional foundations. Those expecting such a fantasy truly do not know their Roman Catholic Faith nor what the infallible, perennial Living Magisterium of the Church teaches for what Paparazzi has been promoting - not just as Benedict now, but well before as a peritus at Vatican II and then head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith flies in the face of tradition for, by his own admission, Ratzinger is still the liberal he always was, but because so many have been dumbed-down to accept the heresies of modernism, he is made to seem like a traditional man. Nothing could be farther from the truth as Father Kevin explains in his article first published in The Catholic Voice in June. We share with you his essay
By What Title Shall He Be Called?
The Straight Stuff Griff Ruby completes his three-part series on clarifying graces and whether grace is possible outside the Church. Today he further cements his brilliant thesis he has been developing on Lumen Gentium. Using the analogy of the apple and the degrees of color, Griff explains how any arguments to explain away the meaning of subsists in turn into applesauce mush. We might use the same analogy of the good apple and the bad apple for the latter, having been infected with the poison of Lumen Gentium at its entry point, the entire conciliar apple - no matter its redness or hue - has spread to every fiber of the newchurch. But then, we know what Our Lord says about the good fruit and what will become of the bad fruit. We just hope and pray more souls will realize and not take a bite out of the conciliar apple for it is rotten to the core. Griff lays out the logic in his excellent essay that provides even more clarification for the reader to realize how the bad apple has spoiled. He explains in his final installment with part three: Grace and the Subsistent Superchurch

Gabriel's Clarion Making Faithful to Tradition ![]() On this Double Major Feast of the Dedication of the Basilicas of St. Peter and St. Paul, John Gregory offers some introspection on one of the holy Pontiffs who so edified the faithful with his orthodoxy and totally Catholic leadership that never left any doubt as to where Holy Mother Church stood in those stable days before the apostasy of Vatican II. That Pope was His Holiness Pope Leo XIII who could, even then, see trouble on the horizon and wrote ten encyclicals on safeguarding the Faith through the Holy Rosary. John cites four of these decreres in illustrating how timeless they are and the importance of his words which are fully in harmony with God's will and totally contradict the shenanigans and sacrilege by John Paul II of altering the Holy Psalter of Mary by daring to add to her perfect 150 Ave's. John shows how the Rosary is our lifeboat to protect us in the storms, how it sustains us in suffering and how it toughens us to avoid laziness and the modern conveniences that divert our attention away from God, away from why we are here and where we are ultimately going. John also touches on Mary's role in this and how it can be understood in the context of true Catholic thought. He explains in his article Pope Leo and The Rosary
"Qui legit, intelligat" ![]() In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Last Sunday After Pentecost, he cites the evident warnings in Sacred Scripture of the signs of the Antichrist and he documents very clearly how the conciLIAR church is paving the way for this with the blasphemy and insanity of those who do know better, who have so deceived even the elect. To promulgate acceptance of human respect and placate man through false ecumenism at the expense of losing all scope of the supernatural and respect for all Holy Mother Church has always held as key for true prayer and graces, is to betray Christ and His Mystical Bride. Yet the usurpers continue unfettered, spreading the heresy that Jews no longer need to convert for their Messiah is yet to come. Meanwhile countless Jews, Catholics and other non-Catholics are deprived of the salvific truths that Christ has promised and the Apostles have verified in Divine Revelation for no one can attain Heaven without belief in Jesus Christ the only-begotten Son of the Father and the Holy Ghost, Whom Our Lord left to guide what He established on the Rock of Peter. Jesus foretold of the very times we live in for what was prophesied in Daniel 11: 31 and in today's Gospel of Matthew 24: 15, indeed, has come out about with the abominable New Order sacrilegious Novus Ordo that has eclipsed, for the most part, the true and propitiatory Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Can the Antichrist be far behind? Father explains in his sermon
Parleying with the Dark
Miters that Matter ![]() With Advent here, we present a pastoral letter by Bishop Mark Pivarunas written ten years ago for the First Sunday of Advent. You will see that though Benedict XVI has replaced John Paul II, nothing else has changed. In fact, things predictably have only grown worse. The Last Sunday of Pentecost and the First Sunday of Advent are intrinsically tied together and His Excellency explains why. Foretold in Sacred Scripture, warned of by previous reliable true Popes, and confirmed by the enemy themselves, we are in the time of the great apostasy - the time of persecution and a time when even the elect would be deceived. This was written in 1995 and nothing has changed except that the rot has only festered more and infected so many more souls. Consider how much has come to light just in these past ten years - the sex scandals, another Assisi scandal, more ecumaniacal concessions, abandonment of the mission of conversion, more bad, even evil bishops and scandals, scandals, and more scandals that persecute Christ and His Mystical Body, now so emaciated and unrecognizable to so many. Truly it is the time of the great apostasy as His Excellency documents in his excellent pastoral letter
The Last Days and False Ecumenism
Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus
Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, presents a thesis that will make you think, and delve into the theology of God's omniscience and the why of many things. In God's master plan He has fashioned the blueprint of perfection. While in His Infinite Wisdom that we will know only in Heaven, He has allowed man - imperfect man - to tinker with perfection. The Lord of History has a method to his divine "madness" for with His infinitely-timed brush, men are the fine bristles and through His master stroke, the palette of causes and effect create a colorful and yet stark, smooth and yet rough, cohesive and yet scrambled portrayal of man's struggle on earth and quest for eternity. God creates and allows the paradox, and His masterpiece develops according to how the bristles touch the canvas of linear time in recording for all time the magnificent tableau of salvation history on the Scroll of Life, a perpetual parchment kept by the Lord of History. Father explains in his essay The Lord of History

The Straight Stuff Faithful to Tradition ![]() With Advent here, John Gregory begins a series on deciphering what is Catholic and what is not Catholic today. To those who truly know the Faith, it should be only too obvious. Sadly, due to the fact so many do not, they are blinded by the secular spin. John cites several examples and acknowledges that it all started with Adam and Eve and that pesky snake. That same devilish serpent is busier today than ever before and if we don't stay awake, keep our eyes on the Prize and look away from the apple of aggiornamento we too could fall just as easily as our First Parents. It happened in Noah's time and Moses' time. Though Advent chronicles their fall from grace in preparation for the promised Messiah, we have no excuses today because Christ has atoned for our sins....and yet we go right on sinning as if there's no tomorrow. The problem is, if we continue in our modernized comfort zone on the course of rebellion and concession accommodated by the conciliar church, there won't be a tomorrow we can look forward to without fear. The devil has seen to that, and that is why, as John Explains The Devil Never Sleeps. Miters that Matter ![]() Today is the feast of good Saint Nicholas, the holy bishop who was known as a gift-giver and possessed of great charity. So also it is with charity that Bishop Mark Pivarunas shares with the faithful the gift of his clarity in a Pastoral Letter written ten years ago which delineates the difference between what is Catholic and what is a threat to the Faith. One such threat that gave license to licentiousness is the document which marks its 40th anniversary tomorrow (of when it was released by Paul VI) and which, as His Excellency reveals, veered greatly from Catholic doctrine. Though new men have followed Montini to head the conciLIAR church, nothing has changed except that the VaticanTwoArians have only tried to refortify a rotting, decaying rampart that is crumbling despite their protests that everything is fine as they blatantly celebrate as a "good thing" 40 years in the proverbial desert of devastation and destruction. That is why we make a special effort to acknowledge this week as "Commiseration Week" in lamenting the 40 years of wandering and wondering in the desert for we know from the Fidei Depositum and the sensus Catholicus that the conciliar church is not built on solid rock, but on the shifting sands of Modernism, and will eventually fall. The sooner the better. His Excellency shows with all clarity what Holy Mother Church truly teaches and in his exposé of Dignitatis Humanae he provides the documentation of how the church of Vatican II abandoned Catholic Truth and opened the doors for perdition to march right in. Forty years later we can see the obvious evidence of this tragic fact. The Bishop brings this home in his Pastoral Letter
The Doctrinal Errors of Dignitatis Humanae
Gabriel's Clarion
In preparation for tomorrow's Double of the First Class Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Gabriel Garnica provides the background and beauty of a little-known painting of Our Lady which so beautifully depicts her role in salvation. Using an immaculately white ribbon to represent her total and perpetual purity in body, mind and soul, the Blessed Mother is seen unraveling the knots that so confuse man in every age and make him prey to the wiles of the devil who delights in tying her children up in knots and making them so confused that they seek not to do God's will for their "nots" turn into twisted, contorted knots that are seemingly impossible to unloosen, but Our Lady has a special touch as the magnificent painting conveys in the Mother of God smoothing the path to Heaven for before Lucifer ever said "I will not serve", before the Lord God's "do not eat of the apple" or His "Thou shalt not" Decalogue to Moses, He had prepared immaculately for all time His precious Undoer of knots, so that through the merits of the Son, His obedient and co-Redemptrix Mother - Mediatrix of all graces - could help untangle the knotted souls and hearts of those who knew not. Gabriel explains in his column Mary as The Undoer of Knots
Catholic PewPOINT Today should be reserved as the celebration of the wondrous Feast of the Immaculate Conception, but as editor Michael Cain points out, the devil loves to mock God and he has pulled a coup with today being the 40-year anniversary of the close of Vatican II. It is the height of "Commiseration Week." We might say, thank God it closed when it did or we might be worse off, but that is doubtful considering what proceeded from the dastardly, purposefully ambiguous documents that sold out the sensus Catholicus with skimble-skamble bafflegab that could be interpreted in whichever way the enemy chose. We say 'enemy' because many Saints and Popes, verily Holy Mother Church herself identified these rogues and judged the actions of what we have seen over the past four decades as gravely deviating from the Faith, Apostasy, heresy, and worse. Cain provides several quotes and sources that confirm that
under the watchful Masonic eye of the One World Order and through the heresies of Modernism, Ecumenism and Humanism, the goals of Globalism and Solidarity are almost complete for establishing a One World Religion under control of the prince of the world. Thank you, Vatican II! One has to ask after forty years of futility and faithlessness, how can the blind ostriches, who cling to the novelties and innovations of the conciLIAR church, say with a straight face that the conciliarists are Catholic? Mocking God is no joke and countless souls plunging to perdition is no laughing matter. Cain gets serious in laying out a plethora of damning evidence against the 40-year-old conciLIAR church in his editorial
God will not be mocked!
