In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Feast of the Circumcision, he points to the conciliar usurpers who are intent on circumcizing the infrangible words of Sacred Scripture by bleeding the doctrines and dogmas of Holy Mother Church and caving to pressure from the Modernist marauders who have created an evolving and confusing structure of Faith that has slipped from the rock-solid foundation they once enjoyed to the sand that will cause the collapse of the false church as has happened to every false religion before. Only one Church will stand and that is the one Christ founded and promised that "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Yet, in the shadow of the scurrilous Henry VIII, two British Isle conciliar prelates are ready to sell the farm and follow in the footsteps of the apostate bishops who abandoned the Church in the 16th century. As usual modern Rome is silent once again, giving their hushed consent to the further wreckovation of the True Faith. But Father points out the magnificence and pure infallibility of the True Mass and the sure words of past reliable Roman Pontiffs and one of the greatest Doctors of the Church. Who are we to follow? The sainted wisdom of popes and saints or the worldly folly of men that could very well not even be bishops? It's a no-brainer to those who truly know and cherish their Faith and we have Sacred Scripture and Tradition - combined they compose Divine Revelation - to illuminate our path. "A Light to my Path"
    In this month dedicated to the Most Holy Name of Jesus, let us continue to pray daily the Leonine Prayer said at the end of every Latin Low Mass:

Let us pray. O God, our refuge and our strength, look down in mercy on Thy people who cry to Thee; and by the intercession of the glorious and immaculate Virgin Mary Mother of God, of St. Joseph her spouse, of Thy blessed apostles Peter and Paul, and of all the saints, in mercy and goodness hear our prayers for the conversion of sinners, and for the freedom and exaltation of our Holy Mother Church. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

   It was that kind of year - a year of goodbyes, glasnost and gosticism. It began with the gnosticism of not believing God would make good on His promise of earthquakes and rumblings of the sea as foretold in Sacred Scripture. They realized, many too late, that God means business when a Tsunami of "biblical proportions" wiped out hundreds of thousands of people in the blink of an eye in Indonesia. Yet society still had not learned and in the tumultuous terrain of the Gulf Coast Hurricanes rocked the very foundations of life as people in New Orleans and Mississippi knew it. New Orleans, known in many circles as the "Big Sleazy," had long taunted God, flaunting every sin of the flesh they could during Mardi Gras and other times. They even had the scurrilous "Southern Decadence" sodomite festival planned for the weekend that never took place for Hurricane Katrina erased their plans and the plans of everyone else in the crescent city, in fact it effected the lives of the just man and the unjust man just to make a living, have a place to live, or a meal. So devastating was it that the city may never recover. On Katrina's heels, Hurricane Rita hammered her footsteps, leaving most places desolate. God foretold it in Holy Writ and still so few could see it coming, let alone learn from it.
    And speaking of learning, we can clearly see that hasn't happened for after over a quarter of a century of being razzle-dazzled by the bafflegab of John Paul II, it all caught up with him on April Fool's Day when it was announced he had died. But, as is the modus operandi of modern Rome, even the sad end of this complicated soul had to be orchestrated to meet the spin of the Modernists so that he could conveniently die on a feast day he created "concelebrating from his bed." Yeah, right. He was dead, and then he was still alive. Was he Lazarus or was it all part of the cover-up modern Rome has become notorious for? Why the confusion? We can ask the same question about the Fatima secret, the Traditional Latin Mass and, who will ever forget their backpedaling on a simple statement about Mel Gibson's masterpiece. Was it as it was or wasn't it? They're still tripping over that faux pas. If any one was surprised that one of the conspirators of Vatican II was so quickly elected, then they're not going to see through the charade that Benedict XVI has fashioned. While neo-traditionalists and conservative conciliarists exclaim that Beneratz is going to return to the traditions of the Church, he visibly illustrates just the opposite. Yet they are blinded by the glitter of a few words of Latin sprinkled into a Protestant-Masonic-Pagan man-made rite. As 2005 ends, it is still a participatory service that is still as void of propitiatory sacrifice as it was when Paul VI ushered in the "abomination of desolation" on April 3, 1969. That is another reason the Sedevacantist issue rose to a fever pitch over the last few months of 2005 in which The Daily Catholic served as a forum for opinions from both sides in hopes of uniting traditional Catholics against the real enemy - the usurpers that non-sedes and sedes agree are creating a new religion. With that being a fact, we asked why all the furor against those who perceive the conciliar popes as not being Catholic?
    It was a year of goodbyes, beginning with, purportedly, the last visionary of Fatima Sister Lucia dos Santos, but many questions still existed whether that was the real Sister Lucy or a plant long ago compromised by the modernists. When Ratzinger immediately ordered her cell sealed, that only confirmed just such a conspiracy many traditional Catholics feared and why she never spoke out against what Our Lady had warned against. Nevertheless, her passing was the end of an era and the signal of a new era - one that is not positive in light of the failure to obey the Blessed Mother's words. It was a year of turmoil in the courts as the world held bedside vigil with Terri Schindler-Schiavo as her husband Michael and his corrupt attorneys and compromised judges outright murdered her while everyone sat helplessly by and her condition was gravely misrepresented by the media. Only prayer was the answer and, because they succeeded in their dastardly deed, those of lesser faith felt their prayers went unanswered. They did the same for Karol Wojtyla who manifested himself a tragic figure not only in history, but in his last days when it was evident that the conciliarists, who push self esteem, had little esteem for the shell of a man they propped up on the balcony for the world to gawk at. So many traditionalists prayed overtime for the soul of this man who had much to answer for his total lack of vigilance on his watch. Sooner or later God calls in His marks. John Paul II was one who tried to convince people to not be afraid, and yet he should have been very, very afraid considering what he had done to Christ's Mystical Body!
    No sooner had the media hordes packed up and left Rome than Benedict clarioned that it would be more of the same ol', same ol'! It began on the 88th anniversary of the First Apparition at Fatima by insulting the Blessed Mother further by Benedict's appointment of Sodom-by-the-Bay Archbishop Modernist William Levada to direct Ratzinger's own Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Talk about handing the fox the keys to the henhouse. That same day it was announced that the headquarters for Human Stem Cell Research would be, where else, Frisco! Between groveling to the Zionists in the synagogue of Cologne during the whirling-dirvishness of World Youth Day and subscribing to universal salvation on more than one occasion - such as claiming a heretic is in Heaven: Roger Schutz of Taize; from caving to the Chinese Patriotic Church to pushing environmentalism and safe-driving while souls careen out of control; from hoodwinking so many that modern Rome was going to "get tough" with an ambiguous (what else) document on "gay priests" (anyone told the conciliarists there is nothing "gay" about sodomy?) to appointing an openly pro-homosexual prelate for San Francisco. While neo-traditionalists oohed and ahhed over the 35 minutes of "crumbs" Benedict granted Bishop Bernard Fellay who had to leave by the back door, they have little explanation for the four and a half-hour private banquet Beneratz threw at the Vatican for his old heretic pal Hans Kung.
    Meanwhile, as abortions mounted, churches emptied or were closed, more sodomite sexual abuse cases came to the surface that threaten to blow the lid off the whole conciliar house of cards in 2006; and yet, the only issue these pansy-waisted false shepherds in the U.S. were concerned with was doing away with the death penalty. Do they know something we don't? Could it be they can see the handwriting on the wall and don't want to be put on deathrow because they have aided and abetted murderers of the innocent unborn and have been directly responsible for the death of so many souls by willfully leading them away from Christ's true Church? It will not go well for them at judgment time. While many are pushing the Santa Subito of John Paul the Worst, they should realize what it really takes to be a saint! Hopefully in 2006 more will understand that necessity.
   Below we present several of the "Best of 2005" and yet that could be a misnomer because, for the most part, there was very little positive that could be attributed to being "best." Rather, we term it thus for those were some of the best articles by our cadre of excellent writers published in 2005. And yet it is very difficult to choose which were the best, but for balance from each month, we've tried to give you a potpourri of five articles to best represent each month. FEED MY SHEEP
The day after Christmas broke with an eerie sky, an omen that the 40-year period of Mercy had run its course, blotted out by the suffocating humanistic spirit of Vatican II. Fittingly on the Feast of the Protomartyr St. Stephen, the time of Justice began. Those expecting Christ to calm the seas without totally repenting and converting uncompromisingly to His True Church, as it always was from Peter through Pius XII, may be in for a shock. The clarion of this era caught over 5 million in Indonesia and surrounding countries off guard and the lives of well over 100,000 were eliminated by the terrifying tsunami. Many more will perish in the abysmal aftermath as disease and other factors come into play until sanitary conditions are restored. This was in the third-world countries. If God can allow such a catastrophe half-way around the world, do you think North America and Europe will be preserved when these two continents are among the worst offenders? Are they prepared for such a disaster not only to the body but the soul? Do they realize they must be willing to follow Christ and His True Church just as St. Stephen did rather than selling out their Faith? If they have their spiritual house in order, they will not fear for their own lives but will realize where this voyage will end and strap in for the long haul with their Rosaries and the Faith of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church - outside of which there is no salvation - no hope of being rescued from the denizens of the deepest pits of hell. STRAIGHT STUFF

Griff Ruby cites the disunity of the Traditional Catholic movement as a major stumbling block to gaining greater ground and converting more Catholics back to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. He points out that it is time to put aside petty bickering and unite behind the denominator that identifies ALL Traditional Catholics: Our Faith, in which we totally embrace the Traditional Latin Mass - the divinely ordained Immemorial Mass of All Ages - and in which we steadfastly reject the heretical reforms of Vatican II and its masonic, Protestant man-made rite the Novus Ordo which have caused a great majority of souls to be misled. Griff laments that too many traditional groups play pope to their fellow Traditional Catholics. What good does that do except reduce the ranks. With even rougher seas ahead for eternal Rome, we must pull together to man the sails of Truth and Tradition as a loyal crew working in unison for Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The only way to thwart the advanced ambiguity of modern Rome is by rowing together toward that point in the sea where we can be anchored with all our fellow Traditional Catholics between the Two Pillars of the Holy Eucharist and Devotion to Mary's Immaculate Heart, traditional devotions steeped in the Faith. Gabriel's Clarion

Gabriel Garnica completes his series against the sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance in this week as we arrive at the 32nd anniversary of the despicable decision foisted on the public by a horrendous supreme court in 1973. The judges have the opportunity to make amends just as the original 'Roe' - Norma McCorvey - has repented and trying to make reparation for setting in motion the entire nightmare. But there is one who is furious and will not allow his twisted sacrifice to be diminished. Goading on the pro-aborts already solidly in his dark and nefarious camp, satan will do whatever he can to prevent the truth from coming to the fore for his greatest achievement was convincing the world he didn't exist. Editor Michael Cain takes this pivotal day when it all began 46 years ago to refute the outrageous error being promulgated by Novus Ordophiles that "Quo Primum is no longer in effect." He fires back with a salvo of ammunition to prove the fallacy of such a statement in providing evidence that not only that statement is bogus but also in showing that the comment "we can't judge a pope" is meaningless for indeed we can't but Holy Mother Church can and has well before these men who would be popes were ever even a sparkle in their mothers' eyes. He furnishes an arsenel of truths in the infallible decrees of previous reliable pontiffs who stressed the true meaning of ut unum sint in uncompromisingly upholding the thrice-proclaimed dogma Extra Ecclesam Nulla Salus which today is under such assault by the usurpers who have sought to change Catholic doctrine to accommodate man, not God. The Agony of Aggiornamento

Dovetailing from Gabriel's column, we provide a lengthy, but fascinating secular account from the very reliable senior editor of the now defunct LOOK Magazine on January 25, 1966. Joseph Roddy's account is not far from the truth of how the Jews dared to invade the doctrines and dogmas of Holy Mother Church and how the progressive prelates were so malleable to heresy. What makes this so interesting is both when it was written, shortly after the close of the Second Vatican Council in volume 30, no. 2 of the January 25, 1966 issue of Look Magazine, and the influence back then of the American press, most notably the Zionist bias of The New York Times as Gabriel Garnica points out in his column today. It also shows the intent of the progressivists to undermine the Faith for political purposes. Long before Nostra Aetate, long before the shameful apologies and wimpering at the wailing wall, the agenda had already been set to form a new church that would be politically correct in the advancement of the State of Israel and power to Zionist interests in forming a New World Order. No man can serve two masters and the Vatican II church opted for mammon over the Church founded by Christ. Transition to Tradition
On the feast of Saint Scholastica, whose very name represents education, we present a countersyllabus to promoting equality in education today by Bishop Richard Williamson. Written on September 1, 2001, when he was Rector of St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, it might very well infuriate feminists, but what he writes is truly Traditional Catholic teaching and common sense. Once you read his reasonings you'll have to admit he's right even though what he writes goes against the grain of everything the past generations have been taught. It's about time the tide is turned and women repositioned on the pedestal God intended for them in emulating the Blessed Virgin Mary. His words hold even more weight today when we can see the total corruption on campus thanks to the very fact that the balance of nature has been upturned. Why? Editor Michael Cain poses some thought-provoking questions about the death of Sister Lucia for it has created many more questions than answers as the modern Vaticanistas go into defensive mode. Events over the past week have revealed a few things already, but there are still many, many pieces of the puzzle missing. We know, as always is the fate of those who fabricate, that eventually they'll trip over their own tongues for they have left a long trail of lies and cover-ups. Is that really the visionary Sister Lucia in the coffin, or was that an imposter? Considering the subterfuge over the past 40 years, you can't put it past them. Now the question arises: what are they hiding? Short of CSI, Cain suggests more of the faithful demand answers, make noise, and expose the charlatans before they totally bury the purpose of Fatima and spin it into their own ecumaniacal agenda to establish the One World Order and the advent of the Antichrist. Fatima has always held the answer. The problem lies with those who know and keep it hidden. What are they hiding? Souls have a right to know, have a need to know for the sake of the Faith, for the sake of salvation. Cain pulls no punches in his editorial Only Heaven Knows!

Christus Primus

With this issue we introduce to The Daily Catholic readers Timothy Duff, who has taught Traditional Catholicism for decades. Tim is the author of the work The Church is not above Christ; thus we have selected the title Christus Primus - "Christ First" as the title for his column. He debuts today with something we should all realize. While he specifically identifies Fr. Paul Kramer, author of The Devil's Final Battle, for acknowledging the titles of heretics, it is a bad habit that many, many traditional writers have fallen into. This editor is guilty as well for it is admittedly one of those habits that are hard to kick, especially after so many years of being programmed to be blindly beholden to the Novus Ordinarian Lodges. The facts are as Christ points out in this coming Sunday's Gospel, "He who is not with Me, is against Me. And he that gathereth not with Me scattereth." If one is true to Christ, then they will not change one iota of the Sacred Deposit of the Faith. We can see that has been done wholesale. Ergo, those changers are not with Christ, but against Him. They may be Freemasons, they may be clowns, they are definitely Modernists, but they are not Catholic. Tim points out simply where we must stand and what we must state in following the infallible, perennial Living Magisterium of the Church guided by the holy wisdom of St. Robert Cardinal Bellarmine who addressed this very subject. How can we give recognition to anyone who has not entered by the door of grace, but another way - as in through "the smoke of satan"? Tim urges all to recognize the enemy and do not encourage him for he is a wolf who seeks to scatter the sheep as Tim explains in his column Heretics are not Catholics

"Qui legit, intelligat"

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Third Sunday of Lent, he packs a wallop in identifying the very problem those who have stayed with the Novus Ordo face today. They are bishopless and priestless for they have condoned the ransacking of traditional forms, especially in the Sacraments of Holy Orders. Father reminds us of the chicanery of the modernists who have done all they can to expunge Pius XII's Apostolic Constitution Sacramentum Ordinis to cover their tracks. Father Louis points out that it is not available anywhere on the web and we are going to do all in our power to procure this Acta Apostolicae Sedis from November 30, 1947 so that all will know the fullness of truth spoken of by Father in his no-nonsense sermon today. These men who have accepted modernism may look like bishops, they may sound like bishops (even though they don't ACT like bishops), but they are NOT bishops for, as Father reveals, their consecrations are not valid. Think about this as talk heats up of the impending Conclave in John Paul II's waning days and realize most all of those entering the Sistine Chapel are not even true cardinals, let alone priests or bishops. What does that portend for the next man who will claim to be pope? The apostasy is so great that it has laid waste to practically the entire conciliar church. Look around you at the ruins. There is scant left to choose from. Had these men been ordained according to the truly Catholic Rite, then, even were they to be the most vile of heretics, they would still be priests, albeit bad ones, but authentic ones. For some that is the case, but for those ordained according to Paul VI's changes, it wouldn't matter if they were in heresy or were the most holiest of men, they still are not properly ordained priests in Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. As Our Lord states in today's Gospel, "He who is not with Me is against Me." When the laity realize this truth by fleeing from the Novus Ordo Lodges and their Grand Masters in droves, then they will pray all the more earnestly for true bishops. That plea will be heard in Heaven only when NOM presbyters are re-ordained in accordance to the form and matter set in stone by Pius XII and begin to celebrate on a daily basis universally the Mass of All Ages and live the Faith as it has always meant to be lived. Echoes of True Catholicism

Dr. Marian Therese Horvat shares concerns about the secretivity surrounding the death of the last Fatima visionary Sister Lucia de Jesus dos Santos. Just as we asked on these pages last week, what are they hiding? so also Marian asks some pertinent questions and suspects with good evidence that Sister Lucia was getting 'bad information' as in false information, as in lies about the state of the church and the world. Marian also offers the conjecture that Sr. Lucia might very well have been silenced and suppressed in light of what her cousin Jacinta had told her before the latter died over 80 years ago: "When the time comes, speak, do not hide yourself." But hiding herself was the very thing she did or rather what the modernists did in hiding her away in a Carmelite convent in Coimbra, Portugal. Since 1970 she had been heavily censored and protected more than a Novus Ordo bishop hiding from the media or Traditional Catholics. What is on Sr. Lucy's computer, what words are in her diary that the modern Vatican institution is so afraid of revealing? What of the continuing corruption of the world and the nonconversion of Russia? Marian points out that the proof is in the pudding. Gone is the intercessor to stay the hand of the Father from spilling forth the Cup of Chastisement that runneth over. Now it's the time when deceit will be revealed, and God's hand will wash clean the decay that has permeated His Church effecting the entire world. Timothy Duff, who has taught Traditional Catholicism for decades and is the author of the work The Church is not above Christ, is also a consummate expert on Venerable Mary Agreda's masterful work Mystical City of God and ties that in so beautifully with the healing effect of sincere tears. He completes in this issue his essay on Holy Tears with part two. In part one he conveyed the efficacious tears shed by Jesus and His Blessed Mother for us and how we have prompted those tears through our sins. In his second part, Tim illustrates how the importance of the tears of the saints and, yes, the innocent. Tears are a language all their own... From the most helpless child to the exalted Mother of God tears express desires and touch hearts in a way words cannot. Editor Michael Cain equates the situation of these times, this month, this very day with the fall of the mighty Caesar 2049 years ago. Caesar and so many emperors before and after him, empires, kingdom and nations before and after have come and gone, but only one Ruler and one institution He established continues after two millennia. That would be Christ and His Mystical Bride which has been ravaged and raped by the enemies of the Church who come in all sizes and shapes of togas, all the better to conceal their daggered agendas until the time to strike from within and without in attempting to inflict the mortal wound to His holy Church. Though they have flailed and failed, they have still weakened the Church and society by not standing strong against the hideous crimes of today's society. Cain emphasizes the futility and folly in placing trust in man while neglecting what God wills, all because of political correctness and man's determined agenda to expunge God from the equation. The mighty Caesar is still referenced to this day, perpetuated in Sacred Scripture by Our Lord's words which tripped up the Scribes and Pharisees who sought to trap Christ. Pro-Life Prescriptions

After a long hiatus, Dr. Frank Joseph returns, weighing in on the travesty of the Terri Schiavo case for the crux of the matter is at the very essence of his subject matter column "Pro-Life Prescriptions." He asks where were the missing-in-action Democrats as Republicans go above and beyond the call of duty to live and act as pro-lifers for the sake of one person, proving the worth that even one person is worth it all for Terri Schiavo is made in the image and likeness of God. Judge Greer, Michael Schiavo, George Felos and pro-abort Democrats and those pushing euthanasia so hard don't want to hear that. They have railroaded Terri, defying writs of Habeas Corpus and other legal measures to stop the unjust justices who have trampled on the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Terri Schiavo is being treated worse than a violent criminal. The liberals rant and rave over abuse of terrorists, but turn their head the other way when it comes to the innocent. The Sanity of Sanctity

As talk of who is papabile heats up before the conclave begins, they would be wise to take to heart the words of the holy bishop and Doctor of the Church Saint Alphonsus Liguori, known as the "Keeper of the Moral Compass." 230 years ago he wrote a letter to an unknown bishop during the time of sede vacante between the pontificates of Clement XIV and Pius VI. St. Alphonsus also wrote: "The devil has always attempted, by means of the heretics, to deprive the world of the Mass, making them precursors of the Antichrist, who, before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish the Holy Sacrament of the altar, as a punishment for the sins of men, according to the prediction of Daniel 'And strength was given him against the continual sacrificer'." He was right on about that as we now see what occurred on April 3, 1969, and his sage and sobering words below should give all pause to pray and unabashedly continue to preach the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. The holy Doctor's sage and pious thoughts on the election of a new Pontiff is wise advice that should be heeded today, but most probably won't because, as St. Alphonsus says "in a word, there is a need for a general reform of all clerics and ecclesiastics if there is to be any improvement in the present great corruption of morals among the laity." And he was talking about the times when our country was founded! Imagine his words today in light of the apostasy running so rampant from Rome on down! Today marks the end of the ten-day moratorium in which editor Michael Cain has withheld comments about Benedict XVI until the inevitable was only too obvious. As a follow-up to what Father Louis Campbell originally brought up in his sermon A Kingdom Brought To Desolation and Pope Pius XII's Sacramentum Ordinis, we bring you a short essay by Father Kevin Vaillancourt, editor of the Traditional publication The Catholic Voice who has given us personal permission to reprint his article from many years ago on the very subject of the questioning of the validity of the Sacrament of Ordination which Paul VI changed. In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday Within the Octave of the Ascension, he offers tribute to all mothers and reminds everyone that the greatest gift you can give to your mother is to pray for her by remembering her at every True Mass. Nothing pleases God more. If we give in to the novelty and whims of the man-made New Order and place worldly things above spiritual, then we become flabby and are easy prey to the mortal cramps of conscience which will surely trip us up on the path to Heaven. It will leave us crippled, to be scraped up by satan and discarded in hell. THE STRAIGHT STUFF

Griff Ruby today presents an excellent, eye-opening lesson to be learned in the similarities of the causes and effects of Henry VIII's Declaration of Royal Supremacy and the ill-fated Vatican II document Lumen Gentium. In these days when the Anglican institution (church of England) is going to hell in a hand-basket and the "Vatican institution" (conciliar church) is following right behind, Griff hits the nail on the head with the analogy of what happened in England and what happened 430 years later. Both 'declarations of rebellion' were the 'chop' that lopped off from the True, Living Tree of Christ those who chose to stay with the branch - a severed, withered branch - which is no longer part of the True Tree of Holy Mother Church. Christ is the vine and we are the branches, but if those branches are disconnected, then they are separated from the very Church planted by Christ in Matthew 16: 19. They are destined, as our Lord asserts in Matthew 7: 19, to be cast into the fire. Just as it did in England four centuries ago, so also today the pruning has pared back the True Church greatly. Griff shows the correlation of the situation that befell England and the epikea of today when true shepherds, though only a few, remain faithful to the Truths and Traditions and justifies how their continuing to perpetuate the Faith by ordaining priests and consecrating bishops is the very same thing St. John Fisher would have done had he not been martyred. It would have been considered the right and proper thing to do then as a loyal Catholic resisting the Church of England; so also today it is the right and proper thing to do for the Traditional bishops to do likewise no matter what modern Rome says, since, by the modernists' acceptance of Lumen Gentium, they have cut themselves off from the True Church and hold no authority in her Founder's eyes. We share some excellent insight from Gary L. Morella, who provides commentary on a report from LifeSiteNews.com last week in which an avowed sodomite pol Bill Siksay had the nerve to question Catholic truth and what is even worse, the one supposedly representing those absolutes - Calgary's 'Bishop' Fred Henry - gave such a weak-kneed response that St. John Fisher would have vomited him out of his mouth just as Our Lord treats the lukewarm in Apocalypse 3: 15-16. Gary applies the wisdom of the Angelic Doctor St. Thomas Aquinas to a situation that badly needs it. Calgary's Henry has been touted as Canada's 'best bishop' for he is one of the few who has consistently spoken out against abortion and sodomy, and yet he is reeling just like all the other conciliar 'bishops' as the liberal antagonists within the Canadian Parliament maneuver to elevate the unnatural hideous sins of abortion and sodomy to a natural right and any one speaking out against these evils will have hell to pay to the state north of the border. Perhaps it is that God is allowing such aberration because the presbyters and 'bishops' have compromised so much in abandoning the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, beginning with the Immemorial Mass of Tradition. Gary illustrates the bitter 'fruits' of the conciliarists for abdicating their authority and recognizing godless organizations like the UN or the State which has usurped God and His Laws. The cancer is almost totally metastasized in Canada, now it spreads south to the vulnerable legislative and judicial chambers in the United States which are already in the throes of corruption. Just as Our Lady said at Fatima, only Prayer, Penance and Reparation will save the countless lost souls mesmerized by the world, the flesh and the devil because the safeguards always provided by the Church until Vatican II have been compromised and, even worse, abandoned. Making Sense of Sensus Catholicus
Father James F. Wathen, the pioneering traditional author of The Great Sacrilege, cites the Epistle for the Feast of the Most Precious Blood to illustrate how the New Testament is superior to the Old in the manner and essence of sacrifice, for all worship necessitates a sacrifice of blood and, while animal sacrifice was accepted in the Old Covenant, the New Covenant necessitates but one sacrifice. That is the memorial of the ultimate sacrifice given by the Divine Son to the Eternal Father by shedding every drop of His Most Precious Blood for all mankind as a "laver of redemption." Only by washing our sins in His Most Precious Blood can we be cleansed, and ultimately saved by adhering to His truths revealed to the Church He founded. Non-Catholics do not understand the vital, life-saving and infinite meaning of this and because of that, they have misconceptions about and antipathy for Catholics because, in truth, Catholic worship is what Our Lord established and only by "doing this in memory of Me" - "Haec quotiescumque feceritas, in Mei memoriam facietis" is the Immemorial Sacrifice for all ages perpetuated and pleasing to the Father. Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey exposes the cancer that is the Indult and which was first infested into the mainstream in 1988 with the oft-regarded illegal Ecclesia Dei. This motu proprio was basically a spin-job to cover up the glaring presence of the Society of St. Pius X which, no matter the conciliar disgust for Tradition, the SSPX and Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre were not going away. Thanks to groups like the SSPX, Independent chapels, CMRI, SSPV and other Traditional orders, the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church have been upheld and preserved uncompromisingly. This has only angered the Novus Ordo miters who, in their desperation, are coercing those who have lived by the Indult to accept the abomination of desolation of the New Order.Tom points this out and documents that the whole purpose of the Indult was not to provide for the spiritual needs of the faithful, but to put the SSPX and other Traditional orders "out of business." To their chagrin it isn't working for the principle holds that if it is from God nothing can stop it. Conversely, if it is not of God it will stop itself. Mmmm, could that be the reason the conciliar church is imploding upon itself? Could it, as we have hammered home here endlessly, something to do with Our Lord's words in Matthew 7: 15-20 and with today's Gospel that "no man can serve two masters"? Because of that we do not share the enthusiasm Tom might hold for the upcoming meeting between Bishop Bernard Fellay and Benedict XVI a week from tomorrow. Editor Michael Cain completes the third of three editorials on the current situation with World Youth Days. Today he pinpoints the problem and that is that Benedict XVI is made from the same mold as his conciliar predecessors and will do all in his power to protect what he was most instrumental in effecting - the ecumaniacal humanism that no longer believes in the infallible thrice-defined dogma Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus.

Benedict, in his first foray outside of Italy and in returning to the scene of the origins of the crime illustrated all too well that all optimism that he will make things different and return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church are pure poppycock as was only too evident in his pandering in the synagogue or schmoozing with the Protestants, infidels and others. Mario Derksen takes a brief break in his refutation of Kenneth Whitehead's arguments for justifying the ecumenical movement begun at Vatican II. Basing Catholic truth on Pope Pius XI's encyclical condemning ecumenism Mortalium animos, by focusing in this month's end issue on the insanity and no-excuse errors of one Fr. Joseph Ratzinger, aka Benedict 16. Mario illustrates the contradictions and downright heresies apparent in his words before his election and shows the continuous pattern of modernism exhibited by this Bavarian-born cleric. Fresh from the syncretism shown in Cologne, Mario points out how this is more of the same ol' Vatican II bafflegab trying to imprint the heretical V2 council as indelible while trying to consign an authentic dogmatic Council - Vatican I - to historical interpretation. The facts, as pointed out by Pope Paul IV in his encyclical Cum ex apostolatus officio, shows that any one deviating from the Faith in any variation from Catholic Truth in action, gesture or words gives scandal and by this deviation ceases to be Catholic and loses all authority. Thus, Mario asks are we really to believe that the man placed in charge of the Deposit of the Faith for 20 years simply doesn't know Catholic Dogma? Living in Tradition
The ides of September bring us the Feast of the Seven Sorrows or Dolors of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Editor Michael Cain shares a reflection on those seven sorrows and how they apply in this most sorrowful month of September when we remember tragedies of the recent past such as the terrible events of 9-11-01 and present day in the aftermath of the horrific Hurricane Katrina. Gabriel's Clarion

Gabriel Garnica brings home the point that close only counts in the game of horseshoes, never in gambling for souls and that is the risky business of those who emit toxic influences by writing half-truths and twisting the Faith to suit their lifestyle with little regard for God's Will or His Laws. Mass Confusion

With that pagan holiday blaring its presence this week culminating in the day of the devil next Monday, John Gregory hammers home what really has haunted so many over the past 40 years: Vatican Two. One of the mechanisms for haunting souls into believing ghost stories not of the True Spirit but of a spooky synthetic synergy was the V2 document Sacrosanctum Concilium on the Sacred Liturgy. Those expecting such a fantasy truly do not know their Roman Catholic Faith nor what the infallible, perennial Living Magisterium of the Church teaches for what Paparazzi has been promoting - not just as Benedict now, but well before as a peritus at Vatican II and then head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith flies in the face of tradition for, by his own admission, Ratzinger is still the liberal he always was, but because so many have been dumbed-down to accept the heresies of modernism, he is made to seem like a traditional man. Griff Ruby completes his three-part series on clarifying graces and whether grace is possible outside the Church. Today he further cements his brilliant thesis he has been developing on Lumen Gentium. Using the analogy of the apple and the degrees of color, Griff explains how any arguments to explain away the meaning of subsists in turn into applesauce mush. We might use the same analogy of the good apple and the bad apple for the latter, having been infected with the poison of Lumen Gentium at its entry point, the entire conciliar apple - no matter its redness or hue - has spread to every fiber of the newchurch. But then, we know what Our Lord says about the good fruit and what will become of the bad fruit. We just hope and pray more souls will realize and not take a bite out of the conciliar apple for it is rotten to the core. Griff lays out the logic in his excellent essay that provides even more clarification for the reader to realize how the bad apple has spoiled. Gabriel's Clarion
While most are aware that November is the month of the holy souls, few realize that November also features 20 martyrs honored in the holy liturgy, more than any other month. In honor of such, Gabriel presents a piece on martyrdom in which he outlines the three truths of martyrdom. There are close to 2000 canonized saints and yet the holy martyrs who gave their lives for Christ in the first three centuries number close to 11 million. Those martyred for the Faith went straight to Heaven to join the Church Triumphant. They are an inspiration to every Catholic and Gabriel points out that we should pay attention because with the situation the way it is today, it could very well not be if we might suffer martyrdom for the Faith, but when and how. Traditional Catholics are well aware of the Dry Martyrdom they undergo in keeping the Faith in the face of abuse, slander and other kinds of mental and even physical persecution. Making Faithful to Tradition

On this Double Major Feast of the Dedication of the Basilicas of St. Peter and St. Paul, John Gregory offers some introspection on one of the holy Pontiffs who so edified the faithful with his orthodoxy and totally Catholic leadership that never left any doubt as to where Holy Mother Church stood in those stable days before the apostasy of Vatican II. That Pope was His Holiness Pope Leo XIII who could, even then, see trouble on the horizon and wrote ten encyclicals on safeguarding the Faith through the Holy Rosary. John shows how the Rosary is our lifeboat to protect us in the storms, how it sustains us in suffering and how it toughens us to avoid laziness and the modern conveniences that divert our attention away from God, away from why we are here and where we are ultimately going. With Advent here, we present a pastoral letter by Bishop Mark Pivarunas written ten years ago for the First Sunday of Advent. It is not with the conciliar church, but with those who have remained stranded but determined on the main freeway of True Authentic Roman Catholicism. They say all roads lead to Rome, but the only sure road is the Traditional Interstate which is the main and only artery between what Christ established and today's confused and deceived elect. Modern Rome has put in many detours and off-ramps to deter Catholics from realizing the only way to be true to Eternal Rome is to stay on the main thoroughfare. The signs are all there to guide all Catholics back to the main road, the only sure road. They just have to open their eyes and decipher the true signs from all the Vatican II graffiti. Faithful to Tradition

With Advent here, John Gregory begins a series on deciphering what is Catholic and what is not Catholic today. To those who truly know the Faith, it should be only too obvious. Sadly, due to the fact so many do not, they are blinded by the secular spin. John cites several examples and acknowledges that it all started with Adam and Eve and that pesky snake. Today is the feast of good Saint Nicholas, the holy bishop who was known as a gift-giver and possessed of great charity. Today should be reserved as the celebration of the wondrous Feast of the Immaculate Conception, but as editor Michael Cain points out, the devil loves to mock God and he has pulled a coup with today being the 40-year anniversary of the close of Vatican II. We might say, thank God it closed when it did or we might be worse off, but that is doubtful considering what proceeded from the dastardly, purposefully ambiguous documents that sold out the sensus Catholicus with skimble-skamble bafflegab that could be interpreted in whichever way the enemy chose.
