War on the innocent: a battle for hearts and minds
Our children need to be protected. No one disagrees with this. But what
form does this protection take? Protected from what?
A recent Court ruling, brought before it by the ACLU, has ruled that no
School Board Meeting may open with a prayer. "These are public forums which
children attend and they must be protected." Protected from prayer?
Protected from any expression of religion?
In many communities, there is a drive to include abstinence in any and all
sex education classes. Again, we hear how these children have to be
'protected' from this intrusion of Judeo-Christian morals and ethics.
It has even put forward by many 'enlightened' people that children need
protection from having their parents 'impose' their religious beliefs and
morals on their children.
YET!!!!!! Libraries are required, now by law, to give full access to the
Internet. Including sexually explicit web sites. New and reworked laws
require us, to 'abstain' from demonstrating in front of abortion clinics.
Television shows display pre and extra-marital sex as the norm. Recently, on
"Friends" we saw two couples have a 'sex contest' to see who was the 'hottest
couple'. We are implicitly told that we have to accept homosexuality as, not
only a licit sexuality, but, in some cases, a better lifestyle. After all, as
one person told me, God made homosexuals to help control the population.
At the Beijing Conference, it was apparent that the focus was to
'liberate' women from the role of mothers. To blur gender differences and
make the world neither male nor female.
"The Beijing Platform for Action is riddled with "gender perspective", a
crazy ragbag of misshapen myths and primitive metaphysics. It defines gender
as a social construct with no relation at all to biological differences. Written mostly by a small coterie
of New York-based feminist powermongers headed by the late arch-feminist Bella Abzug,
the Platform of Action promotes the naive myth that systematic elimination of
all differences between men and women in the family and in the public arena is
crucial for overcoming poverty, injustice, violence, and warfare. The central
thrust of the Beijing Platform can be summed up in one of its several hundred
directives to governments: "Adopt all appropriate measures, especially in the
field of education, to modify the social and cultural patterns of conduct of
men and women, and to eliminate prejudices, customary practices and all other
practices based on stereotyped roles for men and women." (BEIJING CONFERENCE
TO EMPOWER GOVERNMENTS, NOT WOMEN by Rita Joseph)
So, it's apparent that the 'goal' is to remake, restructure society. Just
as Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union attempted to do.
Jean Guilfoyle, in her article "GENDER BENDERS" wrote how this could affect
us and our children.
"Bear in mind that UN resolutions, whether or not they have the binding
nature of treaties, affirm international 'goals and standards,' which can be
applied within member countries at national and local levels. It is quite
possible that such goals and standards could emerge in judicial decisions
and government regulations at the community
level. Within our schools, which frequently engage in
psychological and aptitude testing, vague criteria relating to 'gender
identity' could have destructive effects on children."
"Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Clark, we know your child is registered in school as a boy,
but we find that this child exhibits unusual compassion and concern, and fewer
aggressive tendencies than the other boys. These
tendencies, you see, fall further along the "gender identity scale" toward
feminine characteristics. Now, for your child's well-being, we have introduced
him to Mr. Gerard, a gay teacher in the social
studies department. Mr. Gerard will introduce your child to the lifestyle
which is most suitable for him according to his psychological "gender
identity" testing.
"No, Mr. and Mrs. Clark, it is not possible to object to the school's decision.
Here in America, all students have a right to "reproductive health," with or
without parental agreement, according to Supreme Court decisions and statutory
law!"
Now this may appear absurd, but recall, we already have laws on the books of
a number of States that a child need not get parental permission to obtain
contraceptives and/or abortions. And those who do require such permission are
often challenged. There is even an account of a representative of Planned
Parenthood advocating 'trusted' adults showing children 'healthy' sex. In
fact, a recent report by medical officials say that we need sex 3-4 times a
week in order to be healthy. As though abstinence was unhealthy. My mind
went back to a dying young man I saw in an AIDS report who 'joked' that the
condom broke. Only abstinence 'eliminates' STD's and unwanted pregnancies,
but we are told our children need to be 'protected' from that.
The groundwork is being laid to 'impose' other morals, other than
Christian, on our children. As the California Medical Association wrote in
regards to abortion:
"The very considerable semantic gymnastics, required to rationalize
abortion as anything but taking a human life would be ludicrous, if it was not
often put forth under socially impeccable auspices…This schizophrenic sort of
subterfuge is necessary because, while a new ethic is being accepted, the old
one has not been fully rejected."
So we see euthanasia portrayed as a 'compassionate' and dignified way to
end one's life (Don't mention Quality of life quotients being applied. Don't
mention that the poor, the handicapped and elderly may be 'compassionately'
killed for the betterment of society). Illicit sex as healthy and abstinence
as unhealthy and repressive. Marriage as being an 'oppressive'
institutionalized slavery of women.
As a line from "A Man For All Seasons" states: "This isn't reform, this is
war against the Church."
Our children are taught to be tolerant of everything and everyone except
for Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular. Here, intolerance
and bigotry is not only allowed, but encouraged.
As G. K. Chesterton wrote:
"These are the days when the Christian is expected to praise every creed
except his own." - ILN 8-11-28
and:
"There are those who hate Christianity and call their hatred an all-embracing
love for all religions." - ILN, 1/13/06
We are in the midst of a war, but not like the war we know.
"For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the
principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present
darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in
the evil day, and having done all, to stand." (Ephesians 6:12-13)
The enemy hopes to make our children their soldiers to usher in this 'Brave
New World.'
