Today we bring you just one vignette but it is so powerful and thought provoking that it should stay with you for some time. It was submitted by the Catholic Dispatch and truly gives one pause to ponder and pray, especially in light of our editorial yesterday on the Rosary and the World Wide Rosary Crusade. The following vignette is called, The Lifeline to Heaven.
THE LIFELINE TO HEAVEN
For whom Christ died. Listen to the voice Of your truest guide.
Unseen I am,
God's MOTHER am I,
To me did He give you
From Heaven above
The ROSARY it is,
Say it each day,
Stronger than VICE
Satan will laugh,
Yes, time it will take,
Fear not your weakness
Even THIS you may take
For each such "decade"
If the beads you lack
Though 15 in all
BEFORE each decade
At the END of the 10
Read them at first,
But when your mind WANDERS
It's the EFFORT, my child,
For HEAVEN God made you
