When we disregard God in our laws we get caught in the vicegrip and are left hanging. It's a crazy life because laws made without God in mind lead to la vida loca!

In his column today, Pat Ludwa addresses the problems that arise when governments throw God out with the bathwater in favor of trying to please the devil by rewording constitutions so as not to offend the minority of atheists. He shows that when man writes laws to please man, they become a jungle of discord where only the fittest survive, but when man writes laws inspired by God they remain on our hearts through love for the Almighty and all He has promised. Without God's Laws we become an anarchy - a crazy life going nowhere - la vida loca! For Pat's column The Law and God, click on VIEW FROM THE PEW

The Law and God

The Secrets of La Salette are no longer secret, so why do we refuse to listen?

We continue our series on Prayer, today turning our attention to the Mercy God is offering and which was offered in abundance at La Salette but refused then as now for Our Lady ask if there is "no one left to beg mercy?" That is why the Brides of Christ, especially those dedicated to calling Divine Mercy down on the world, are such an important component in God's plan for salvation. The message of La Salette has been spread far and wide and repeated so often in numerous apparitions and messages in the second half of this century and yet... PRAYER
Time to seek Mercy Verbi Sponsa

"...for the Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His Justice, and all these things shall be given you besides. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow will have anxieties of its own. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Matthew 6:32-34

"Your path to Me is the Way of the Cross as I give it to you daily in the vocation I desire for you, nourish you in and guide you through."

Those words from the Sacred Heart of Jesus were conveyed on the Solemnity of All Saints on November 1, 1994 to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart wherein Our Lord reminds us that we all have the stuff saints are made of; we just need to channel our energies in the right direction for Him. His Blessed Mother follows up with Message #560 on All Souls Day, focusing on our role as members of the Church Militant in helping the Church Suffering. May 25th Medjugorje Monthly Message

Dear children! Also today I call you to convert and to more firmly believe in God. Children, you seek peace and pray in different ways, but you have not yet given your hearts to God for Him to fill them with His love. So, I am with you to teach you and to bring you closer to the love of God. If you love God above all else, it will be easy for you to pray and to open your hearts to Him. Thank you for having responded to my call.

THE DAILY WORD

"In this manner therefore shall you pray: 'Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"

Matthew 6: 9-13
