Catholic PewPOINT
During the third week of October there will be much ballyhooing going on in Rome. Organizers and planners have been preparing for some time to stage with great pomp and circumstance the 25th Anniversary of the pontificate of John Paul II. All form and no function. Every Cardinal will be in Rome and why? To rejoice over the deterioration and wreckovation of Holy Mother Church? They might as well since that is the only accomplishment they can claim, and sadly that deed has been most thorough over the past 40 years, not to mention from 1978 to the present which just happens to be the time Karol Cardinal Wojtya has been responsible for the total undermining of the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. To add to the Mardi Gras-like malaise is the elevation of the Novus Ordo's darling Mother Teresa whose beatification was unprecedentedly rushed through by pressure of worldly opinion without the benefit of a competent Devil's Advocate. But then, with so many being beatified and canonized today - more than all the past Pontiffs combined - why should we be surprised? It all comes down to one simple question we ask our neo-Catholic friends and to every priest, bishop, cardinal and yes, especially the Pope himself: What is there to celebrate?
Doctors of the Church
The twenty-seventh Doctor in this chronological series on the Doctors of the Church was a Dutch-born Jesuit priest who played a key role in the landmark Council of Trent and played a vital role in debating the Protestant heresies throughout Europe, especially gaining the moniker as the "Windmill of Wisdom" while whirling through his native Netherlands and Germany, Austria, Bohemia and Poland. He was a great eloquent preacher sought by prince and pauper alike. He served as mediator between Holy Roman Emperors and Popes. He also founded the University of Fribourg in 1580. One of his most famous works was "Manuel of Catholics" and he is referred to as the "Second Apostle of Germany," giving way only to the great Saint Boniface as the "First Apostle of Germany." Because of his efforts, the counter-reformation was a resounding success in Bavaria. He was Saint Peter of Canisius.
PROPER OF THE MASS
Following is the Proper of the Mass for the Traditional Latin Mass for the Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost and Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost along with the Feast of the day for the week of September 7 through the 13th leading to the Proper and Sermon for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Most Holy Cross on the Fourteenth Sunday After Pentecost.

SUNDAY, September 7    Proper for the Mass of the Thirtenth Sunday After Pentecost

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Thirteenth Sunday After Pentecost, he exposes the heresies so rampant today regarding the contradiction to Catholic Doctrine on the completion of the Old Testament. The Church has always taught that the Old Covenant was fulfilled and replaced with the New Testament beginning with Christ. Yet the new dogma, which is espoused in direct confrontation to St. Paul's warnings of 'anathema,' is that "the perfidious Jews" - as was always the prayer for them on Good Friday - can continue in their mistaken, heretical and damned ways despite Christ's confirmation in Mark 16: 15-16 that those who do not believe and are not baptized will not be saved. No, those who reject the Sacraments, who reject Christ will "be condemned." One could not say it any clearer, yet the Vatican II progressives seek to obliterate everything that went before 1960 and ally themselves with those who do not believe, while turning their wrath on those within the bosom of Christ who stand by the dogma "Extra Ecclesia Nulla Salus" as Father points out in his sermon "Who then can be saved?"

SUNDAY, September 14     For the Readings for the Double Major Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross see Proper of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross and for the Fourteenth Sunday After Pentecost which is superceded, see Proper of the Sunday Mass

In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Most Holy Cross which this year falls on the Fourteenth Sunday After Pentecost, he points out how Christ emphasized very clearly that we cannot serve two masters as documented in the Gospel of St. Matthew. On the specific feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, Our Lord encourages us all in the Gospel to "Walk whilst you have the light that the darkness overtake you not. And he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. Whilst you have the light, believe in the light; that you may be the children of light." However, because the Church for the past 40 years has not served as the moral compass, it has allowed the light to grow very, very dim where today her enemies question everything from the Shroud of Turin to the Holy Mysteries, sacking the sacred in favor of a man-made concoction that takes away from the sacrificial nature of "the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven." Father reminds us that there can be no glory without the Cross and that all the wisdom of Solomon could not match the infinite, infallible wisdom of our Savior as he points out in his sermon Christ, the Power and Wisdom of God

White Smoke, Black Fire!
In the fifth episode of Chapter Eleven of The Shrouding, lobbying and plotting begins in earnest for the General Congregation just hours away in the Sala Regia of the Apostolic Palace adjacent to the Sistine Chapel. While Cardinals Gregory Zachmunn and Julies Mendoza compare notes and the reader is enlightened further on agendas - as backgrounds on more of the College of Cardinals are revealed. We understand further why Gregory and Julies must seek to influence their fellow Lords who might be on the fence regarding accepting the 40 supposed preconized bishops who Cardinal Antonio Macelli will try to ram through at the General Congregation: the preliminary before the actual Conclave, moved up to immediately after the Papal Funeral tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, Macelli and Vendhem solidify their vile base of electors as we learn the sordid background of men not worthy to wear the Roman Collar, let alone the threads of a cardinal as we discover in Part IV, Chapter Eleven, Episode Five.

Traditional Insights
Mario Derksen completes his thorough multi-part series on the controversy that still seems to surround "the illicit Episcopal Ordinations of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." This pertains to the society named after the saintly Pontiff, whose feast we celebrated last week. Were it not for His Excellency in the face of tremendous opposition, the ideals of St. Pius X could well have been suppressed even moreso. Mario wraps up his twelve-part series by debunking the rubbish and inane reasoning of neo-Catholics who flail around in their feeble, nay desperate, frantic attempts to justify the unjustifiable as Mario so aptly illustrates in part twelve of his series : Conclusion

Pro Life Prescriptions
Dr. Frank Joseph's is livid how low American society has sunk. Thanks to the Democrats, liberal, radical Godless judges have populated the courts and effected the reality of legislating God out of existence. The unlawful holocaust in the womb continues unabated, masqueraded as a "woman's right" while the sodomite insanity is steamrolling through legislatures for fear of offending this vast minority who have forfeited all rights by their beligerent disobedience of God's natural laws. To cover all this up, the ACLU has been successful as satan's harbinger in removing the Ten Commandments from Judge Roy Moore's courthouse. Who is next? Dr. Frank lambasts those who would even consider compromising with the atheists and pagans and warns that the trial of the ages is coming down to The United States vs. God
 Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei
Bishop Richard Williamson checks in with his final letter before his reassignment to an Argentina Seminary in South America after 21 years as rector of St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Winona, Minnesota. He shares a whimsical poem in which, in his own inimitable way, he expresses much emotion. On the serious side, in his 'last hurrah' of encouragement to American Traditional Catholics, he urges all to stay the course in holding true to the Apostolic Traditions of Holy Mother Church as he stresses Persevere in the Truth.
Catholic PewPOINT
Before satan's head is crushed by the heel of Our Blessed Mother there is a trial of fire we must all pass through and the embers scorching at our toes right now indicates, all too clearly, that this time foretold is nigh. The escalation of the Vatican II agenda even in the face of overwhelming statistics of utter failure is more evidence that the inmates are running the asylum better known as "Stalag 62" or the new Vatican. Truly it is a time for sack-cloth and ashes, and yet, the Vatican II proletariat pushes on with the utopian humanistic agenda. Cain takes examples from the past few weeks to better illustrate the Iconoclasts of Ill-will, Idiocy and Insanity!
White Smoke, Black Fire!
In the fourth episode of Chapter Eleven of The Shrouding, Stephen is taken away in handcuffs by two Swiss Guards who the Monsignor deduces are Macelli's men. He fears they are taking him to the basement where Sister Bridie has already been tied up and interrogated. All seems lost until the guards escort him to a room where they reveal the purpose of the arrest. Meanwhile, the perfidious Elena Grabe discovers the reeking dead body of the misguided Father Urazzi, but not the failed traitor Sargeant Kutsch who has left Urazzi's office with a splitting headache thanks to Stephen's quick action earlier in the afternoon. To the west within the Apostolic Palace in the Sala Regia the lobbying has begun to cajole votes for railroading through Macelli's agenda of adding 40 progressive bishops to the cardinalate in a supposed preconized by Pope Clement XV. Without the Papal Seal, there is no proof the Holy Father intended such a thing and Cardinal Gregory Zachmunn is wise to the tactics of the evil one as we discover in Part IV, Chapter Eleven, Episode Four.

PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Encyclicals and Papal Bulls which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs.

"The denial of Truth is just as fatal to the mind as the denial of light is to vision. Truth in its fullness is not easy to attain, even if one does admit its existence. To explore Truth in all its complexity there must come moments when we confess ignorance, when we frankly admit that we were mistaken or bigoted, or prejudiced. These admissions are painful, but they actually enrich character just as much as all approximations to falsehood forfeit it."             Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
