Fish or cut bait!

Conspiracy. It has been with us since time in memorial. It was first planted in the minds of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel in the guise of a serpent. He told them that God had suppressed them so they would not find out they too could be gods. They bought it and this heresy continues to this day - even more so. Rather, let me affirm: much more so.

Cloning and embryonic stem cell research are at the forefront of the headlines today. What's next? Would you believe the implanting of the mark of the beast? Oh yes, it's already here in the chip manufactured by Proton in Europe and coming soon to the United States where, within three years all must bear the mark or else. To assure their goal and to control all who would dissent the mark of the beast will suffice to keep track of mankind. Sacred Scripture foretells this very thing in Apocalypse/Revelation 13: 15-18, "And it was permitted to give life to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that whoever should not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And it will cause all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bond, to have a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and it will bring it about that no one may be able to buy or sell, except him who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of its name. Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six."

&nbps; Yes, folks, we are truly living in these times. In our DAILY NEWS & INFORMATION section, we bring you a new feature in this issue - SIGNS that cause one to WONDER. Leading off is an excellent article by John Vennari, editor of the insightful monthly publication Catholic Family News. He has never been afraid to call a spade a spade and in his piece The Digital Angel Implant he reveals the enemy's strategy. It's a must read. We are so close. The conspiracy is almost complete.

Yes, conspiracy is very much alive today. Our Lord warned us of these times in Matthew 24: 23-24, "Then if anyone say to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ,' or, 'There he is,' do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise, and will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect."

Consider those last words - "even the elect." What did Jesus mean by that? Could He have meant men we have come to trust who sit in political chambers, in curial and diocesan chambers, in medical circles? From all the signs and wonders that we have seen in the last few decades I would say very much so that those are the ones He is referring to in these times. We are talking about men like Italian embryologist Severino Antinori who seeks to clone human beings, which, in the words of German-born Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger is merely an attempt to "emulate Hitler" in practicing "Nazi madness."

Today the madness continues unabated as pro-abort Nazis worldwide seek to diminish human dignity severely by choosing whomever they might eliminate in order to build a stronger race. Abortion and euthanasia have paved the way for devaluing human life. They argue that an unborn child is not as important as someone with a crippling disease who might be cured if embryonic stem cells were used. No guarantees, just false promises. And what if they could cure through embryonic stem cell research? Even then it is still wrong for it would be at the expense of another. Christ said in John 15: 13, "Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends." However He was referring to one who is fully capable of free will - of choosing his own destiny. A fetus has no such freedoms. Therefore, they are unwilling martyrs for a cause as shallow as an inanimate test tube. Yet the world promises so much and can give so little!

Promises! That is what mortal man lives on and for. Promises of a better life in the here and now. Is that what Jesus promised? Afraid not! Rather, He emphatically reinforced that we are not of this world and will be persecuted for it. Satan is the source of empty promises. He pledged to give Jesus the whole world if He would simply bow down and adore the fallen angel. No such luck, lucifer! And we must reject the devil's advances in the same manner, cringing at the idea of abortion, cloning, euthanasia, sodomy, and yes, ecumenism.

Ecumenism promises unity. Did not the people of God in Genesis 11: 6-9 promise the same thing? Did they not try to forge this by building a tower to celebrate themselves? Did not the Lord reject this as well? In fact, He said "Truly, they are one people and they all have the same language. This is the beginning of what they will do. Hereafter they will not be restrained from anything which they determine to do. Let us go down, and there confuse their language so that they will not understand one another's speech." And so, God scrabbled their tongues, "For this reason it was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the speech of all the earth. From there the Lord scattered them all over the earth."

Yet, Jesus sought to unite His chosen ones of the New Covenant when He bequeathed the Keys of the Kingdom on Simon Peter in Matthew 16: 18-19. Thus, for nearly 2000 years the language of the Church has always been Latin - the language of the angels. However, during Vatican II the self-appointed gods of change chose to scrabble tongues and scatter the faithful by eliminating Latin from the liturgy, though the Council Fathers never approved this. The universal mark of the Church was greatly diminished, if not extinguished by removing Latin. In its place vernacular took center stage and opened the door for every kind of abuse as liturgists and celebrants ad-libbed their way through what once was the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

In this issue we present Dr. Tom Droleskey's nineteenth installment The Polemics of the 'People of God' as he continues exposing the flaws in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal which, rather than returning to the reverence and ritual necessary for the Holy Sacrifice, only patronizes the abusers. GIRM is, unfortunately, merely a paper tiger in a jungle of malcontents, modernists and apostates. For those who might try to dispute these facts, we refer you to a series beginning in this issue on the FirstCRUSADE of the 21st Century with the introduction of the Ottaviani Intervention. These papers, widely suppressed and poopooed are the cornerstone of what the Church must return to for, as you will see in Alfredo Cardinal Ottaviani's undeniable and solid arguments, the Church has taken another course in the post-conciliar years - a course that leads to Babel and from there toward the abyss.

There has indeed been a conspiracy within the Church to denigrate the good cardinal and his cohorts, one of whom was Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre who has been so maligned by the spinmeisters. Oh, if Catholics everywhere only knew the truth they would storm their chanceries and the Curia in outrage! The reason for this conspiracy is simple. Ottaviani, Lefebvre and the loyal International Group of Fathers were the only ones who stood in the way of the progressivist movement to change the Church so it would be more adaptable to modern times, more palatable for Protestants and other non-Catholics. During the past three plus decades they have been building their modern tower of Babel, confusing the faithful as they forge on with tunnel vision, constructing an edifice that is, in all truth, a house of cards that will crumble if the truth is made known to enough of the faithful. That is why the bishops fear the Traditional movement more than any other. As has been proven from their silence regarding a response to their inaction in calling pro-abort pseudo Catholics to task, they fear persecution. This has been confirmed by Father Peter West of Priests for Life.

And so the great cover-up continues. As it does, more spin is manufactured from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Rome itself downplaying and trying to put a positive light on the corruption going on. Have you noticed lately how many bishops and curia are backtracking, trying to cover their own rear-ends and explaining themselves - always in ambiguous terms - in order to justify their agendas, in order to vindicate the errors of Vatican II. The more they do, the more the truth oozes to the surface and it is ugly, friends, very ugly!

In her column in this issue Cyndi writes about how outraged she is in discovering how we have been lied to for so many years in her column Shedding light on the 'Great Spiritual Darkness.' You, too, should be just as outraged. Oh, you could continue with the charade if you wished. Remember man has a free will. Sooner or later you're going to have to make a decision on which direction you are going to take. Will it be following a conciliar Church that has been operating with mirrors, trying to put forth a shiny image of how great the people of God are, or the nuts and bolts hard work of a solid foundation with the Church Militant, which will definitely be persecuted for their beliefs in the unchanging doctrines of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church? The latter route will be narrow, very narrow - strewn with difficulties. The former path will widen ever more as the conciliar Church seeks to make it easier to envelop all faiths by compromising discipline and principals to accommodate modern man.

Yes, there is a conspiracy afoot to push the modernist agenda. On the surface Rome and the bishops say 'no' to cloning, but it is hollow, without the moral force of a Church lacking in disciplines. If they really want to influence the electorate, if they really want to rock the boat and bring the politicians into line and curb the modern Frankensteins and pro-abort Nazis, they will not just speak out against these sins, but back them up with force. Make it known publicly and universally that to tinker with God's creations in any way from womb to tomb is punishable by excommunication. No exceptions!

That would send the strongest message to President George W. Bush who is presently "struggling" with the decision of whether to approve embryonic stem cell research. Had the bishops performed their apostolic duties prior to this point, had Rome backed it up with clout, Bush wouldn't even dare go there. Not only that, but the decisive issues in the Senate and House would not be over life, but over issues government should deal with. And the Democrats and Republicans we have elected could, because the conspiracy of the pro-aborts would be exposed and men like Ted Kennedy and that whole cadre of pro-abort Nazis who claim to be Catholic - including Patrick Leahy who is afraid to mention God in an oath for fear it might offend someone - would be given a choice. Wouldn't the pro-choicers love that?

In the early days of Christianity the fish was the symbol the faithful used to identify Christians. It was a conspiracy to rid Rome and its inhabitants of paganism. It took 300 years to accomplish that goal. There have been pagan ideas emanating from Rome of lAte and they center around some of the agendas forged at Vatican II. Ecumenism is an example of this. We repeat over and over again, unity of Faith - unity of all "people of God" can only be accomplished through conversion, not compromise. The latter course seems to be the way Rome has taken with the apologies for things that the Church should not be sorry for - such as proselytizing. Had the early Christians not proselytized and shed blood for their commitment to Christ, do you think we would have a Catholic Church today? The answer is yes, because Christ promised that "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16: 18). However, had saints and sinners not proselytized, not sought conversions, where do you think Christ's one True Church would be today? Probably still in the catacombs.

Yet, the sad fact is that His True Church is returning to the catacombs of the remnant Church, for the modernists are suffocating the faithful with an aberrant liturgy that in no way resembles the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. In truth, only in the Latin Mass is the full Sacrifice of the Mass truly heard and completed. Cardinal Ottaviani confirms this and you need to read his words to realize it so that you, too, will storm the dioceses demanding the bishops heed the Holy Father's strong request to make the Tridentine Mass readily available in every diocese - Sundays and daily. We cannot stand for their disobedience while those who seek the Mass - that was never abrogated - are called "disobedient" by these same shepherds who shirk their duties. They are fishers of men and yet many have been trolling for wealth, renown and acceptance in this world at the expense of their flocks. That is not the Christian way. It definitely is not the Catholic way. It is not Christ's way. He demands obedience to His commandments. It's time the bishops did the same.

How many are confident the bishops are going to resist the mark of the beast? From their track record over the past 40 years don't hold out too much hope. Yet, we can't wait for the bishops to lead us. They have proven they are cowards from their inaction and there is no room for cowards in the battle against the beast. Either lead or get out of the way.

It is time the conspiracies are exposed and those who embrace the culture of death by their action or inaction - whether politician or prelate - those who would hesitate in standing firm - are told in no uncertain terms: Fish or cut bait!
