The Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar

   In our 232nd installment of our catechetical series on My Catholic Faith we continue our series on the most august Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist with part two on the True Presence of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. This series will delve extensively in future issues into the meaning of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. At the words spoken by the priest at the Consecration in the Canon of the Mass, the bread and wine are confected into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Those words, spoken by Christ, are gleaned from Matthew 26: 26-28, Mark 14: 22-24, and Luke 22: 19-20.
