Let us hope and pray that for the sake of millions and millions of souls, the third time will be the charm to wake up America's Bishops!
"Consider, dear bishops, if parents kept telling their children not to do something, even laying out rules and why (as you did in "Living the Gospel of Life") but they continue to ignore the parental authority, continue to do what they want because the other kids they know are doing it and it's alright with their folks. After awhile, even patience and love will not convince the children to obey because your words have carried no consequence. Your authority would carry no clout. We have laws in our secular society and in the Church. When those laws are violated there are consequences that the offenders must accept. According to the bishops' mindset, we should continue to be patient with these children and guide them in love. Is it love to allow them to offend God? Is it love to not correct them? Is it love to not punish them if they do not obey? Is it love to allow them to lose their eternal soul? So how long would you think those parents should "patiently wait in love" for their children to obey their authority? Would you say 28 years? That's ridiculous isn't it, waiting that long? But, dear bishops, that's how long you have waited. And while you wait, more souls die. Are you willing to continue this waiting game and explain it to God when He calls you to judgment?"
In our commentary today we address the Bishops of America for the third time. This time we enlist the help of William Shakespeare, whose birthday and death the world observes today. To borrow a few titles from the eloquent bard, while bishop-speak of urging 'Catholic' polticians to abandon the pro-abort stance is "Much ado about Nothing", this world has become a "Comedy of Errors" and God knows that His "Love's Labour's Lost" means a cleansing is imminent because of the sins of the flesh and the vile sin of abortion. It is no "Midsummer Night's Dream" or "A Winter's Tale" that "The Tempest" will occur soon for Christ's Cup is overflowing. His Mercy has been extended to so many and yet it has been rejected by so many because they live "As You Like It." In doing so, they fail to realize that God will expend "Measure for Measure" in the Final Judgment. We entreat the bishops to enforce the discipline and authority they have been entrusted with so that hearts will change and the Sanctity of Life will be upheld so that in His Master Plan for His children "All's Well That Ends Well!" For our Open Letter to the Bishops III, "Defer no time, delays have dangerous ends" see CATHOLIC PewPOINT

One who truly embraces the Cross can never hate, but only love!

"Why do we fight? So that the message of the Cross won't be lost in a world of indifference. So that, like a city on a hill, it shines for all mankind to see. But to try and 'water down' the message serves only to place that light under a basket, to hide it as though it were a thing to be ashamed of."

In his column today, Pat Ludwa takes on those who seek to silence opposition to their living whatever way they want, by pointing out that those who truly follow Jesus Christ cannot sit back and do nothing. That is because they love so much that that love swells in them to hate the sin, to root it out by reminding their brothers and sisters of the dangerous path they travel. Why, because they love the sinner as Christ commanded. But satan twists things to make the true lover seem like a hatefilled Christian and that is the way those who bow to the prince of darkness want others to see the followers of the Cross. For Pat's column, Why we fight!!! see VIEW FROM THE PEW

We have hyped the hyperbole of our own importance and greatly lessened the necessity for the Sacred

"Furthermore, the practice of Holy Communion under both kinds, which is not the tradition of the Roman Rite, has been encouraged by liturgists around the world as a means of justifying the necessity of extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist. This has been done so as to blur the distinctions between the priesthood of the ordained priesthood and the common priesthood all of the faithful have by means of their baptism. Thus, there has been the clericalization of the laity and the laicization of the clergy. This is nothing other than Rousseauean egalitarianism."

In today's issue Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D. brings us the eighth part of his fascinating, logical, factual and frank treatise on ferreting out the doublespeak and contradictions contained in the General Instruction to the Roman Missal (GIRM) which has confused so many and, instead of clearing up abuses, only is a license to experiment some more, all contributing to the continuing deconstruction of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass that sustained the Church and her faithful for some 1,500 years. For his column, "Hand" Me down? see CHRIST or chaos

Archbishop Daniel Cronin: We implore you to call Connecticut Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro to task for her unyielding, horrendous pro-abort stance.

Today's "Herod's Hero" is the Democratic Representative in the United States House from Connecticut's 3rd District, the Honorable Rosa DeLauro Greenberg. There's nothing honorable about how she, as a 'Catholic,' has promoted the culture of death. We call on her to repent and for her shepherd in the Archdiocese of Hartford Archbishop Daniel A. Cronin along with DeLauro's shepherd in Washington D.C. Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, to issue the ultimatum of the "Bell, Book, and Candle" if she will not hear even the Church. We beg of the Bishops, to stand up for the Roman Catholic Church, to exact the discipline all Catholics are expected to follow. By DeLauro's uncompromising 100% pro-abortion record during her six terms in the House, she has turned away from God by showing a disdain for Catholic doctrine and being a willing accomplice to satan. We implore her to amend her ways, to turn away from embracing the pro-abort stance with no mercy for the lives of millions of unborn. For another betrayer who seeks to perpetuate the culture of death and slay the innocents, see HEROD'S HEROES

Easter Weekday
Feast of the Martyrs Saint George and Saint Adalbert, Bishops

Today is Easter Weekday and the Feasts of the Martyrs Saint George - a Roman soldier who refused to worship the pagan gods and was martyred for his courage. He is often depicted slaying the dragons of sin and is considered the patron of Christian soldiers. It is also the Feast of Saint Adalbert, a holy bishop and missionary of medieval times who escaped death at the hands of the Russian slavic people and baptized many until a group of pagans cornered him on this date in 981. Tomorrow we commemorate the Feast of Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, another martyr for the cause. For today and tomorrow's liturgies, see DAILY LITURGY

"Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." John 3: 5-6

Saint George Death of the patron saint of Christian soldiers and the Boy Scouts

On this date 1,698 years ago in 303 Saint George was martyred by the Roman Emperor Diocletian because George, a Roman calvary centurion, objected to the cruel persecutions of the vile ruler and refused to bow down to the pagan gods. He was inspired by the faith of the Christians who willingly went to their deaths. His bravery was so great that Britain adopted him as their patron saint and he is not only the patron saint today of Christian Soldiers, but also the patron saint of the Boy Scouts of America. Today, more than ever before, this patriotic organization is under great attack by the Diocletians of sodomy and political correctness who seek to force this organization to forsake their morals for the 'good of the state.' Like St. George who fought the demon dragons of paganism and wrongs, he is being called on again to ride strong in upholding the banner that says 'no compromise' - "Jesus is our King!" Neurotics are ideal targets for satan's lure!

"Every neurotic is anti-social. Normal persons are liked to society; the abnormal, uprooted through their delusions, are daily confronted with the absurd. They are 'naturals' for any anti-social movement opposed to culture, morality and peace. In fact the more absurd a system is, the more it appeals to them. The connection between the nuerotic anti-social traits of a person and the neurotic anti-social wars and revolutions which we see around us in the world today is extremely close. As flies go to honoey, so neurotics gravitate to anti-social behavior. They are easy targets for the devil's bait."
