We begin the week celebrating the holy Doctor of the Church St. Ephrem the Syrian known as "Harp of the Holy Ghost". Though the Second Sunday after Pentecost in this time within the Octave of Corpus Christi supersedes his feast. The week is top heavy toward the end with three high class feasts beginning with the Octave Day of the First Class Feast of Corpus Christi followed by the First Class Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, which supersedes the Vigil of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist whose First Class Feast we celebrate on Saturday.

All through this week leading up through the Feast of the Sacred Heart we continue with the Novena to the Sacred Heart that includes the Litany of the Sacred Heart and Consecration to His Most Sacred and Precious Heart so full of love for us. The least we can do for Him is to reply and let Him know we are on His team and will do all in our power to preserve the Faith He instituted. We encourage all to seek out a true Traditional Priest and ask him, if your home is not already consecrated, to consecrate and enthrone your home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. See Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

It is appropriate that Father's Day falls this year on the feast of one of the earlier Fathers of the Church St. Ephrem. Since Sunday is Father's Day, at least in the United States, it is time to realize we wouldn't be here were it not for our own fathers, but more importantly were it not for God the Father. Likewise we can take the holy St. Joseph as our heavenly mentor, and good, true Traditional Bishops and Priests to impart wisdom. We encourage all fathers and sons to heed their counsel for the sake of procreation in populating Heaven by perpetuating the holy Faith. They are committed to upholding the Catholic family traditions that sustained so many generations until Vatican 2. This editor's own dad upheld Catholic tradition as best he could under the circumstances he was faced with as we bring you a tribute written ten years ago "Come, Ye Blessed of My Father".

If dads out there haven't yet, then what better day than Father's Day to take the reins of responsibility and let the world know that dads will not flee from being accountable nor be embarrased to stand for virtue. As head of the family it's imperative that dads continue to fish for souls, beginning with their own family by being candid with their wives, love, cherish, respect and be loyal always to her as a mother and soul mate. Dads should be truthful to their sons and daughters, encouraging chastity, honesty, and hard work. This way, like ripples in a brook, the family will expand to reach more souls for the sake of their own salvation as well. Only then can they right the ship and place their wives/mothers back on the pedestal they richly deserve as true role models for their daughters and daughters-in-law, for they also have the example of the greatest mother of them all: the Blessed Virgin Mary

How appropriate then is the fact we begin on Father's Day the nine day devotion leading up to the feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. It is a beautiful devotion that was approved, with the title and icon which has so much meaning, by His Holiness Pope Pius IX. If we ever needed Heaven's help, Catholics know who to ask for that help - the very Virgin who is known as Our Mother of Perpetual Help. We'd be fools not to turn to here and this preparation period is the perfect time to do so with magnificent Devotions to Our Mother of Perpetual Help

Our Lady, as Co-Redemptrix, has promised that her Immaculate Heart would triumph. That could be God's way of inserting divine intervention to offset this Great Apostasy we remain in. Her holy Rosary is the link of hope between Traditional Catholics and CONciLIAR Catholics, and we remind you of your opportunity to pray each evening with others by calling into moderator Tom Gillbrough for Rosary Conference Call at 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 9 p.m. Central, 8 p.m. Mountain, and 7 p.m. in the Pacific Daylight time zone. You are encouraged to call in ten minutes before the hour so that the Rosary can start on time with no latecomers to upset the reverence and continuity of the Blessed Virgin Mary's holy Psalter. For those who want to stay on after the five decades, they may join in praying the other two sets of mysteries not covered for that day. Monday and Thursday are the Joyful mysteries, Tuesday and Friday are the Sorrowful mysteries, and Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday are the Glorious mysteries.

On Saturday mornings you are invited to call 319-527-2928 and join Dave Fuire and often times a priest in praying the five Glorious Mysteries at 1 p.m. EDT, noon CDT, 11 a.m. MDT, and 10 a.m. PDT in reparation for the offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is what Our Lady asked for at Fatima.

You'll note that Traditional Catholics never acknowledge the heretical luminous mysteries. Why? Because Heaven bestowed the holy Rosary to St. Dominic to fight the heresy of Albigensianism in 1214. Mary stipulated that the three sets of mysteries made up Christ's life through her and they represented the 150 Psalms which, when divided by the Trinitarian number 3 equals 50 Aves. Victorious over the Albgensians, it remained the same with miraculous results for nearly 800 years until unsaint JP2 decided he'd add the Masonic luminous mysteries. With that unprecedented move in which man thought he knew better than God, the number jumped to four sets of mysteries equalling 200 Aves. To show how demonic this is, when you divide 200 by the Trinitarian number 3 you get 666! That should tell you all you need to know about Vatican 2 and it's false 'popes'. That is why it is paramount to the welfare of your eternal soul to...

A lot has been said about the heretical 'Apostolic' declaration Amoris Laetitia that has spurred so much controversy, but there are so many other heresies spewed from Mr. Bergoglio's mouth. We urge you to see the latest at NovusOrdoWatch.org. We strongly urge you to forego some TV tonight and devote some time to listen to his monthly TRADCASTS and frequent TradCAST Express, all available at the same site. Hearing this and knowing Marxist Mr. Jorge Bergoglio's track record we shouldn't be surprised that the world is thrilled, while many Catholics are shocked, especially with his latest push to recognize all religions as equal: Pantheism and Syncretism at its apex toward a one world religion under Satan. Traditional Catholics are not shocked because we saw it coming. For all of this the best source for what is happening in separating the lambs on the right from the goats on the left is NovusOrdoWatch latest news wire which provides links to so many sources that it has become the DRUDGE Report for Traditional Catholics. In addition, we also confidently recommend trusted ports like Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as four blogs worth your while, the excellent traditional weekly blogIntroibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. They all weigh in on the consequences of the dastardly deeds by those in Modernist Rome and their cronies around the world who blatantly contradict Catholic truth, which of course is so reminiscent of Vatican 2 documents. So stay tuned to our DailyCatholic Twitter Feed for the latest as well as the editor's SANCTUS facebook page

How many lambs will be placed on the Lord's right? With the relaxation and total negligence of many Catholic disciplines today, that number might be smaller than you might think because the vast majority of the sheep are so lost because the so-called shepherds of the modern church, while masquerading as priests and prelates, are truly wolves who have ravaged souls for the past fifty years or so. Other than traditional priests and bishops ordained in the true Sacrament of Holy Orders, all those "ordained" or "consecrated" since 1968 with the man-made rite of Giovanni Montini have no more authority or power than a protestant minister, who, as Pope Leo XIII perfectly put it, "are completely null and utterly void." The fact is not since His Holiness Pope Pius XII have we had a true shepherd sitting in the Chair of Peter. That has greatly contributed to the chaos the world faces today because since the early part of the Conclave of 1958, when the Holy Ghost withdrew His protection because a false church was determined to eclipse the true Church. How long that will last is anybody's guess, but the more we see, the further away the counterfeit CONciLIAR church is out-protestanting the Protestants, and even the heathens! You see, through the Vatican 2 secular humanism man has replaced God!

I know it's a shock to most to realize they're barking up the wrong tree, the one without the true barque of Peter. It was to us when we connected all the dots and finally came to the conclusion that the only syllogism possible to verify Christ's words was that the true Church remains in an interminable interregnum, chiefly because a heretic cannot be a pope, not to mention how those men occupying the Chair since the death of His Holiness of happy memory Pope Pius XII's death on October 9, 1958. The links we provide above to other ports verifies this fact.

All we ask is that you pray for the grace to see the veracity of what is presented. It can be a tremendous task to leave the comfort zone of a religion that has relaxed so much, but isn't it worth it for your salvation? That was the decision we came to after realizing how much we were duped - yes, we're not alone - for as Jesus said in St. Matthew 24: 24-25: "insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. Behold I have told it to you, beforehand." We've been warned, and yet so many refuse to connect the dots. It behooves you to do so and do so soon. To affirm this and assist you in this truth, we present a thorough talk by His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn, Rector of Most Holy Trinity Seminary. We encourage you to set aside an hour and a half to truly help your soul and clarify what is really happening by listening to his magnificent and eye-opening complete overview of the Great Apostasy in: The Novus Ordo Church, Vatican II, and Sedevacantism. It's a good idea to listen to the Questions and Answers after his talk that provides rock-solid reasons why Sedevacantists have been right all along and we pray more will receive the grace to see why and flee the Novus Ordo.

The words above are the wise counsel of St. Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 and just the fact that you have arrived on this site is a blessing and we hope you pray for the grace to truly see that all we publish here is the unadulterated Catholic truth. As we have said so many times, don't take our word for it, see what holy Mother Church has always taught as infrangible truth for Our Lord cannot deceive nor be deceived. We pray you can see that if you have been deceived in any way by what has been taught by the Vatican 2 church, then something must be wrong and you will know it does not come from God, but rather His adversary the devil.

That is why we have endeavored for 21 years online to bring you the infrangible truths and traditions of the Church instituted by Christ. We can humbly say we have never had to print a retraction of anything published on these pages. Of course with all that we have here and in archives it takes money to continue. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy from the approved St. Andrew Missal 1945 and in so doing can gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. So if you have benefited in any way, we'd be so grateful for a tax-deductible donation of whatever you deem it is worth. We remind you of the advice of the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Augustine on almsgiving:

"Generosity will save a person from Eternal Death, it will even blot out any sin.....because Almsgiving is prayer...it brings graces, it cleanses the soul from guilt and punishment.....What good is faith without works, if we desert our fellow man in his need?"

Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated and you will be added to our daily prayer list personally by name and your intentions. Just click the button below or you may send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Thank you in advance for your caring and sharing. It all comes down to St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 above. That is something we strive to fulfill and convince souls of everywhere.

Wherever the solemn celebration of Corpus Christi is observed on the Sunday, one high Mass is celebrated as on the feast itself, with commemoration and last Gospel of the second Sunday. After this Mass the procession takes place. For the feast of Corpus Christi, the Church has chosen the Thursday between the Sunday on which she speaks of God's mercy towards men and the consequent duty of fraternal charity among Christians (First Sunday after Pentecost), and this Sunday when she resumes the same thread of thought (Epistle) and presents the Kingdom of Heaven in the form of the Parable of the Supper(Gospel). Nothing could be more appropriate to the Blessed Eucharist, as the banquet where ...More

John Gregory provides the commentary for the Second Sunday after Pentecost from Father George Leo Haydock found in many Douay-Rheims version of the New Testament. In the short, the powerfully poignant and pertinent words in today's paragraphs from our Lord's mouth give us knowledge that He reaches out to the most disadvantage of souls for His mercy knows no bounds, but those who reject Him, who decide they do not want to partake at His banquet will find no comfort nor a place at the table. Wise words for those who are starving for the true Faith and feel the emptiness in the novus ordo. Leave the scraps and rotting menu of misery and come to the true banquet - the Traditional Latin Mass where the Holy Sacrifice is celebrated by true priests, men who have not rejected Christ's invitation. True Catholics do not hate their neighbor but love him out of their love for God as St. Paul relates in today's Epistle and one who has such love wants his neighbor to partake in the banquet offered by the Lord. The Charity of God

Saint Ephrem the Deacon, the holy Doctor and saintly Syrian, who was the second chronologically to receive such a title following Saint Athanasius, was an early luminary of the Church. Today his homeland is in ruins because the people did not follow his example nor heed his holy advice. St. Ephrem was beloved by the faithful and one called the "Prophet of his people" and a deacon who combated heretical sects and Roman emperors, not by raising his voice in anger, but through Syriac poetry in winning the people to the Faith. His works are integral to the Syrian Church. In adherence to the Gospel, Ephrem reached out and cared for the least of his brethren leaving the 99 to go in search of the one who was lost. This dedication to the will of God and uncompromisingly living the Gospel to win souls to the Lord show why he was a clarion of clarity to those suffering from the confusion of the Arian heresy. He is affectionately known as the Harp of the Holy Ghost

With today's feast of St. Ephrem the Deacon before tomorrow's feast of Corpus Christi we present, through the courtesy of TraditionalCatholicSermons.org an eleven-minute sermon by Bishop Daniel Dolan on this holy Doctor of the Church delivered on June 18, 2009. The bishop shares the life of St. Ephrem, also spelled Ephraem, who was one of the first to proclaim and promote the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, even though he was a hermit. He relied fully on the inspiration of the Holy Ghost to convert the common people through hymns and plays to explain the orthodoxy of the holy Faith in such logical simplicity. This totally confounded the heretics who either retreated or converted. Listen to the bishop's words on St. Ephrem the Deacon

In this time within the Octave of the First Class Feast of Corpus Christi, we present words from His Excellency Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI from the April 2013 issue of Adsum, the monthly publication from the rector of Mater Dei Seminary in Omaha. Bishop Pivarunas focuses on the mystery of the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar and the stark contrast of the awe and reverence afforded the True Presence of Our Lord and Savior compared with the travesty of the Novus Ordo with atrocities galore that not only scandalize but veer greatly from what was set in stone at the dogmatic Council of Trent. His Excellency details the reason why true priests take such caution and reverence for the Blessed Sacrament, something so sorely missing today in the Novus Ordo lodges, where they seem to think the celebrant is there to entertain and keep the "unity of community" in true humanistic form where man is more important than God. Not only that, but those 'ordained' in the Paul VI rite are merely presbyters and, in truth have no power to confect the Blessed Sacrament which makes it tragic for those who think Jesus is truly present in the Novus Ordo messes. This only only reinforces the Traditional Catholic stance that what the Conciliar church offers is invalid and totally null and void as is obvious in. True Reverence for the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar

We continue within the Octave of the First Class Feast of Corpus Christi this week leading to the Octave Day. Cibávit eos

With Father's Day just a few days in arrears, I wanted to bring you a tribute this editor wrote of his own father ten years ago after his death on May 23, 2007 at the age of ninety-one and a half years. The Sacred Heart, Whose feast we celebrate this week is both the Head and the Heart and One on Whom every Father must be firmly attached. Christ has given us His Own foster father St. Joseph as a role model to exemplify how a father should live and love. Dad had a tremendous devotion and love for the earthly-spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and good St. Joseph made good his promise for a happy death. This editor reminisces on his own late father and how much influence a father can have on passing on the true faith as well as assuring a father's children that they will not only bring their children up the same way but also be there to assure the sacraments for the father when his time has arrived. In this time when fathers are portrayed as wimps and sissies, God shows that fathers really do know best if they heed His will. My dad endeavored to follow the divine will as much as possible, even to the point of being totally obedient to whatever the modern church dictated. Despite this, God judges the heart and there he was pure of heart, an exemplar of the Beatitudes. We often affectionately call our fathers dad. Considering God's plan, DAD makes sense for it could well be an acronym for Divinely Assisted Direction. Permit me to take a journey a decade later in honoring my earthly father with "Come, Ye Blessed of My Father.

Saint Aloysius Gonzaga was like a white and fragrant lily in his virgin purity, transplanted by God from the luxurious and sensual Court of Madrid to the chosen garden of St. Ignatius Loyola at Rome. The whole life of Aloysius breathes forth sanctity and purity; his Baptism, which was administered at the very moment of his birth, his First Communion at the hands of St. Charles Borromeo; his reception into the Society of Jesus by Claudio Acquaviva, the spiritual direction given to him at the Collegio Romano by St. Robert Bellarmine; his severe penances, and, lastly, his holy death as a victim of charity in the service of the plague-stricken sufferers in the Hospital of the Consolazione at Rome. He died on the octave-day of Corpus Christi, 1591, at the age of twenty-three years. ...More

Appropriately within the Octave of Corpus Christi Bishop Daniel Dolan brings us a sermon from ten years ago, courtesy of Traditional Catholic Sermons, on St. Aloysius Gonzaga, a patron saint of the Holy Eucharist. The bishop speaks of our desire to have an eucharistic heart, one of gratitude for God's sanctifying grace. This permeated every fiber of young Aloysius' body and soul. Three saints played an important role in his life. We express our gratitude by visits to the Blessed Sacrament (where He is truly present, i.e., pre-V2 traditional Catholic chapels, not the Novus Ordo!) and assisting at these immemorial Masses of all ages and receive Holy Communion. The bishop points out that we should strive, like Aloysius, to be totally pure of heart when we are all for God. That is the meaning of the eucharistic and humble heart. Let us emulate the holy death as a victim of charity in the service of the plague-stricken sufferers in the Hospital of the Consolazione at Rome. He died on the octave-day of Corpus Christi, 1591, at St. Aloysius Gonzaga

Today is the Octave Day of the Feast of Corpus Christi along with a commemoration for the Vigil of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist This pinpoints the Transubstantiation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass where we truly celebrate the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar - the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ confected in the Roman Canon of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the most ...More

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twelve-minute VIDEO sermon by Fr. Charles McGuire, pastor of St. Hugh's Traditional Roman Catholic parish in Milwaukee for the feast of Corpus Christi, which is celebrated in churches today with a commemoration for the Second Sunday after Pentecost and then a procession of the Blessed Sacrament following the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Father is sharing with the children the importance of the the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ truly present in the Holy Eucharist and how in the CONciLIAR church it has been so abused because it is not really Jesus present because they have no way of confecting the Sacrament because of the apostasy inherent since Vatican II. He explains in his video sermon on Corpus Christi

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you an eight and a half-minute sermon given five years ago by Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in Cincinnati, Ohio. His excellency shares how much love St. Paulinus had for the Sacred Heart and he truly lived Christ's words, selling all he had to follow Our Lord as a religious. He gave all his money to the poor. As Bishop of Nola, he shared all he could with the poor and became known as the most holy, generous prelate in theland. He knew Our Lord's words that the poor would always be with us, but he also lived the Beatitudes. As the collect today speaks, we are to despise all the things of the world and, like this holy bishop, seek to love the Sacred Heart all the more. That was the essence of St. Paulinus of Nola

The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus was established in order to stimulate the faithful to honor with more devotion and zeal, under the symbol of the Sacred Heart, the love of Jesus Christ, which Induced Him not only to suffer and to die for the redemption of mankind, but also to institute the Sacrament of His Body and Blood. Though the devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is of great antiquity In the Church, yet it was reserved to the holy St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, of the Order of the Visitation, to make this devotion public. During the Octave of Corpus Christi, In the year 1690, our Blessed Lord appeared to His devoted handmaid, and disclosing to her His Heart, said. "Behold this Heart, which, notwithstanding the burning love for man with which it is consumed and exhausted, meets with no other return from the generality of Christians than sacrilege, contempt, Indifference and ingratitude But what will it avail us to have listened to these so just claims of our Savior, if we are not moved with compassion, and generously resolved to testify our sorrow for our past indifference by honoring His Sacred Heart, and by repairing, as far as lies in our power, the insults to which His ardent desire to dwell with the children of men daily exposes Him in the august Sacrament of His love! If gratitude to the God Who suffered such torments for our salvation, does not Incline us to accept His gracious Invitation, and to rank ourselves among the number of His adorers, at least let the recollection of the many spiritual advantages to be derived from devotion to the Sacred Heart induce us to pray humbly and fervently, that He, Who has Himself declared that It was a last effort of His love for man that Induced Him to discover to them the treasures of His Heart, may infuse into our souls the great gift of true compassion for His Most Sacred Heart. Cogitationes Cordis

Today is the Ninth and Final Day of the Novena to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Today we say the Acts of Consecration and Reparation to the Sacred heart as we recall why our Lord appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque with the Twelve Promises and reasons for making Nine Consecutive First Fridays. There are many other devotions to the Sacred Heart and they are listed here below focusing on this great day as we encourage you to say as many times a day as you can the reverent ejaculation "Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Have mercy on us" or the Latin "Cor Jesu Sacratissimum, miserere nobis." For today's prayers see:

The month of June is an ideal time to contact a true priest to have your home enthroned to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, especially in these times when satan can enter so easily through technology, acquaintances, what not. There are beautiful devotions in the Consecration and prayers that you can repeat monthly, weekly, or more often and on major feasts. In this time when many, because of distance, cannot get to a true Mass, it is the next best thing to have your home as a haven for the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. See Enthronement in the Home

John Gregory documents how the Heart of God has always been held in special esteem. Many are under the assumption that the Sacred Heart didn't come into devotion until our Lord appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, but Sacred Scripture and the example of David who put his heart into action for the Heart of God, shows that the Heart of God has always been the portal to true Love. Without It, one enters a black hole that one may not be able to escape unless one has love for God, and subsequently, because of that, his neighbor. One cannot attain everlasting life without love. That love begins and ends with the Most Sacred Heart Whose love knows no bounds; Whose love can move mountains; Whose love can melt the coldest of hearts, soften the hardest; Whose love was so great that God gave of His Heart that in His human nature His love included suffering and dying on the cross - no greater love doth anyone have than to give His life that we might have eternal life. That's what the Sacred Heart is all about and no leader of men or nations will ever be successful until they realizes that as John explains in. The Heart of the Matter

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a twelve-minute sermon given last year by Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph Seminary at the City of Mary in Rathdrum, Idaho. Devotion is so important for God has saved this devotion for the latter times. Though Catholics knew of His loving Heart, it did not become public until the 1670's. Images of the Sacred Heart show us the fire emitting form His Heart to show His love. The flames are surmounted by the Cross represents His ultimate sacrifice and the Heart is surrounded by thorns to show that His entire life was one of self denial and suffering. He loves us so much and there is so little love in return. The idea of the Sacred Heart entails reparation and it should pain us that anyone does not love Him and we should love Him enough to do what we can to bring others to Him, which will please Him greatly. After all is that not the greatest love we can give Him. Father explains in his sermon on The Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Precursor of Christ was filled with the Holy Ghost even from his mother's womb. After an austere life as a hermit, he announced the Advent of Christ, ...More

We bring you today a seven-minute sermon courtesy of Traditional Catholic Sermons by His Excellency Bishop Daniel Dolan delivered nine years ago on the feast of the Birth of St. John the Baptist, who, amongst those born of woman, there is no greater saint. The bishop notes that we can best imitate St. John the Baptist by letting the light of truth shine through. He alone This is vital in these times when the truth is muffled by the CONciLIAR church that has deceived so many by the darkness wrought by the prince of darkness today. John embodies the truth and the sacrifice of every martyr for all time for he was, in essence, the first of the Baptized martyrs. The Nativity of St. John the Baptist

The links above and below provide almost daily updates. The two above can be trusted totally, while we urge a mild caution on the two below because of their refusal to admit Francis is a false pope.

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
    • Confession
    • Communion
    • One Our Father
    • One Hail Mary
    • One Glory be...
Pope Pius IX, July 31, 1858

  • The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

    Hail Mary...

And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us.

    Hail Mary...
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

    Let us pray.

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructis ventris tui, Jesus.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Ecce ancilla Domini. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.

    Ave Maria...
Et Verbum caro factum est. Et habitavit in nobis.
    Ave Maria...

Amen.
