First of all, let us make it perfectly clear: the First Sunday after Easter, the Octave Day of the Resurrection of the Lord, is known as Low Sunday, not 'Divine Mercy Sunday' as the Modernists claim. The latter is a canard concocted by Karol Wojtyla (aka unsaint John Paul 2) that has decimated the meaning of Paschaltide and diminished Christ's words to St. Thomas and Our Lord's Apostles, "blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed." Besides it being Low Sunday, it is also known in liturgical circles as both White Sunday and Quasi Modo Sunday, and because of so many ferias this week, also Quasi Modo Week. And no, it has nothing to do with Victor Hugo's fictional hunchback of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris, but rather, "As only" the Church can so wonderfully compile, the Introit of the Mass "As [only] (Quasi modo) newborn babes (géniti infántes), alleluia, desire (concupíscite) the rational milk without guile (rationábiles, sine dolo lac), alleluia, alleluia, alleluia." As Jesus says in the Gospel of St. Matthew 18:3, "Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter the kingdom of Heaven." In holy Mother Church's wisdom She realizes the "rational milk without guile" is the infrangible doctrines and traditions of the Church instituted by Christ, Who cannot deceive nor be deceived as we say each day in the Act of Faith. Thus, we must remain as little children, yes, newborn babes, innocent as possible and not tainted by the world, the flesh and the devil. Not easy in this day and age. Yet, as Jesus assures, as attested to by three of the evangelists, "With men this is impossible: but with God all things are possible."

To honor the transferred First Class Feast of the Annunciation, we encourage you to assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass if available to you. Short of that, you can follow the Ordinary and Propers of the Mass by clicking each day. For Monday the Mass is Vultum tuum. We also bring you below a meditation presented a few years ago by John Gregory that provides great inspiration for the First Joyful Mystery which dovetails into a third suggestion: Pray the Holy Rosary daily. It is no coincidence that on Monday the Joyful Mysteries are prayed and the Annunciation happens to fall on Monday this year. So let us dedicate this day to Our Lady and bask in the glow of her holiness, so evident to all on this day of the incarnation of the God-son in her immaculate womb. We remind you of your opportunity to pray each evening with others by calling into moderator Tom Gillbrough for Rosary Conference Call at 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 9 p.m. Central, 8 p.m. Mountain, and 7 p.m. in the Pacific Daylight time zone.
The week ends with three events that run the gamut of emotions. On Friday it is a time of triumph and tragedy. The former in the commemoration of the second anniversary of the death of this editor's wife Cyndi Cain, republishing the last brief thing she wrote: A revelation of her heart and soul as well as remembering Cyndi with the tribute honoring her "God writes straight with crooked lines". Memories of Cyndi present a stark contrast to the other event we commisserate on April 8 the tragedy of the release of Chaos Frank's expected heretical Amoris laetitia (Joy of love) document curried from a stacked SIN-odd on the Family from last year, which was dead on arrival for keeping the Catholic Faith unsullied by the political correct apostates who not-so-subtlely favor sodomy and divorce in the guise of "mercy." We present a poignant piece by John Gregory, titled Do You See Satan's Plan Now? written three years ago but ever more pertinent now considering what is being released from Modernist apostate Rome.
Despite the CONciLIAR church's total veering from Catholic doctrine by the current occupier in the Vatican who is not even a true priest, there is room to celebrate a real true priest and that is Father Gerard McKee, CMRI

who celebrates a quarter of a century as an Alter Christus as a member of the priestly Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen. You can see more below for Saturday, April 9 when he will celebrate an Anniversary Mass at noon with the Votive Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday followed by a luncheon with parishioners in National City.
Finally, to keep abreast of events, their causes and consequences, and inspiration from other ports, we confidently recommend NovusOrdoWatch.org and Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as three blogs worth your while, Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Cekada's Quidlibet, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. They will all weigh in on the consequences of the release of the dastardly document Amoris laetitia in which the so-called "Joy of love" could very well turn into Morte animarum - "Death of souls." So stay tuned to our DailyCatholic Twitter Feed for the latest as well as the editor's SANCTUS facebook page

Station at the Church of St. Pancras in Rome. Low Sunday, so called in order to emphasize the contrast between the great Easter solemnity and the Sunday which ends the Octave, is also known as Quasimodo, from the first words of the Introit. (Not the hunchback of Notre Dame!) In the Latin Missal and Breviary it is Called Dominica in Albis (depositis or deponendis), because the Neophytes on that day put aside their white garments. Another Latin name, Pascha clausum, is preserved in the French Paques - "closes" and in the Dutch Beloken Paschen, i.e. "close of Easter," this day ending the Octave (Collect).
The Church compares the Neophytes to newborn babes, and the milk she gives them to drink (Introit) is the faith in Christ which will enable them to overcome with Him the world. This faith has for its foundation the testimony of the Father, Who at the baptism of Christ (water) declared Him to be His Son; the testimony of the Son, Who on the Cross (blood) showed Himself the Son of God; and that of the Holy Ghost, Who by Christ's Resurrection More for Low Sunday

Though the first Sunday following Easter is called Low Sunday, in truth St. John the Evangelists leaves us with a spiritual high in both his Epistle and Gospel, emphasizing how faith conquers all and is the answer to believing in Christ the Lord. The Haydock Commentary for today, provided by John Gregory, shows how those who believe not are liars and in deep trouble if they do not believe the Three in One Who gave testimony and the physical testimony of Christ's two natures - Divine (the spirit) and human (water and blood), which lives on in the Sacred Deposit of the Faith through the spirit (inspired divine revelation), the water (Baptism) and the Blood (the Perpetual Holy Sacrifice of the Mass) - all a Testament of Lasting Faith. As Catholics we go by faith, not feelings. That is why there are few lows when one goes on faith, but a constant confident high that is tempered by a steady keel provided by the sacramental life of the Church that enables us to believe and say the very same words the doubting Apostle said when he was at last convinced: Dominus meus, et Deus meus. My Lord and my God
Father Benedict Hughes, CMRI, Rector of St. Joseph's Minor Seminary in Rathdrum, Idaho at the City of Mary presents a 13 minute sermon for Low Sunday or as is known in some circles "Quasi modo Sunday" from the Introit of today's Mass. Father hones in on the Gospel of St. John on how Thomas had to see with his own eyes that Christ had risen before he would believe. Father reminds us that we should be encouraged by Our Lord's words "Blessed are they who have not seen, yet believe." To do so we must go on faith and it is the true Faith we believe in that we reaffirm each time we pray the Act of Faith daily as Father relates, "I believe these and all the truths of the holy Catholic Church because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst deceive nor be deceived." That in itself should be evidence that we have faith in all that came before Vatican 2 and anything after, well it is not the true faith because we've been deceived and that can never come from God. Father explains in his sermon Make Acts of Faith Everyday

This feast, prepared by that of St. Gabriel, recalls the greatest event in history, the Incarnation of our Lord (Gospel) in the womb of a Virgin (Epistle). On this day the Word was made flesh, and united to itself for ever the humanity of Jesus. March 25th is indeed the anniversary of the ordination of Christ as priest, for it is by the anointing of the divinity that He has become Supreme Pontiff, Mediator between God and man.
The mystery of the Incarnation has earned for Blessed Mary her most glorious title, that of "Mother of God" (Collect), in Greek "Theotokos" a name which the Eastern Church always inscribed in letters of gold, like a diadem on the

Devotion to Saint Isidore, this great Doctor of Catholic Spain, rose in Rome shortly after his death in 636. The Synod of Toledo composed of fifty-two bishops in 652 proclaimed him "Doctor most famous of our day, most recent glory of the Catholic Church, following in time those who had gone before us, but not lower in his knowledge of doctrine." He was the great source of ecclesiastical learning for many centuries. His instruction on ...More

John Gregory presents his magnificent reflection on the First Joyful Mystery. He asks what greater joy can there be than to be told by a heavenly messenger of the highest order - St. Gabriel the Archangel - that the Almighty Father has created you for all time for this moment? Chosen the Holy Ghost as your divine Spouse? and selected you, among zillions of souls, to be the mother of His only-begotten Son? This great Mystery is cause for unending joy and if there ever was a sanctification of motherhood it was in Mary's fiat that she would accept - "be it done unto me according to Thy will" - and through the full cooperation of her Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart, paved the way for God's children to gain Heaven through this living and most pure Ark of the Covenant. John reflects in the mysteries of The Annunciation
Bishop Daniel Dolan, pastor of St. Gertrude the Great in the Cincinnati area presents an 8 minute sermon to the children that was first delivered in 2007 in which he spoke of how devotion to Our Lady is so important in staying true to her divine Son for it was on this day that she accepted the role of the Mother of God and ultimately the Mother of her divine Son's Church. If we rely on His Mother, we can never go wrong. His Excellency explains in his sermon Annunciation of Our Lady
Though the First Class Feast of the Annunciation takes precedence and therefore supersedes the feast of the holy Bishop and Doctor of the Church St. Isidore of Seville, April 4 is the traditional feast of this holy cleric born in the middle of the sixth century when the Arian heresy was in full force. Like today's remnant, he resisted going along with the crowd and held true to the constituted evangelic traditions and the purity of the orthodox faith despite the pull of the world, the flesh and the devil. In a time regarded as the beginning of the Dark Ages, he beamed the brilliant light of Christ's Truths wherever he could. It brings to mind that nearly fifteen centuries later, God's one True Church and His teachings are being squeezed from the collective consciousness of souls and, other than prayer, the chief means of communicating to so many lost souls is through the phenomenon known today as Social Media which incorporates the internet, texting, cell phones and twitter. It is through these mediums that traditional outlets such as ours has been able to reach out to the four corners of the world as Christ asks and as St. Isidore attempted in nourishing and harvesting souls for he was truly the

Saint Vincent Ferrer, considered the "Angel of the Judgment," was born at Valencia in Spain in 1357. At the age of eighteen, this dedicated apostle was professed in the Order of Saint Dominic. After a brilliant course of study he became Master of Sacred Theology, and began to preach. For three years he read only the Sacred Scriptures, and came to know the entire Bible by heart. He brought the light of Christ to the Jews of Valencia, and their synagogue became a church.
Grief at the great schism then afflicting the Church reduced him to the point of death at the age of forty, but Our Lord Himself whom he saw in glory, healed him and bade him go forth to convert sinners, "for My judgment is near." In the language of Scripture, a

In Book Four, Chapter Fourteen of the Revelations and Prophesies of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden, Jesus imparts to the bride the comforting words to quell her fear, telling her not to be afraid of what she has seen and heard, because it comes from the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, as He illustrates how the devil can be symbolized by a snake and a lion, the consolation of the Holy Ghost as symbolized by a tongue, and Christ shows how to resist the devil by thrusting divine charity at the fangs of the serpent and the sharp teeth of a lion. The adversary will flee out of fear of having their teeth shattered, something we can hope and pray for so that they will no longer be able to devour. Keeping our tonque silent or moving in prayer and praise is the best way of How to silence satan
His Excellency Bishop Daniel Dolan presents a nearly six-minute sermon on today's saint, the holy confessor St. Vincent Ferrer. He was raised up by God during the Great Western Schism in the . As a devout Dominican priest dedicated to the Blessed Mother, he was given the gift of prophesy and is known for miracles, one of which the bishop shares where he froze one man, a mason, who had fallen from a high scaffolding. St. Vincent saw him in falling and, through the power of God, commanded the man to stop - which he did in midair - long enough for the holy man to rush back to his monastery to ask permission to work a miracle. Having been granted his wish, Vincent quickly returned to the non-Catholic still frozen in midair, and commanded him to return to his previous perch high above. Miraculously the man reversed his plunge and alighted safely back on the scaffolding. Needless to say, the mason converted to Catholicism. This is just one of the stories the bishop relates on the many conversion attributed to Saint Vincent Ferrer

This series first ran six years ago. Since then we have many new readers and thus, the conclusion is that it's time to rerun it. It's important to return to basics since too often we all make the holy Faith complicated, whereas in reality the truths and traditions of the Catholic Faith are quite simple. God doesn't complicate things, man does. Realizing the fact that, for many generations indoctrinated by conciliar ambiguities, it all seems so confusing, we are re-introducing this series in utilizing a combination of the excellent compendium of the late Bishop Morrow's pre-Vatican II Manual of Religion My Catholic Faith as well as the out-of-print masterpieces The Catholic Church Alone The One True Church(1902) and The Cabinet of Catholic Information (1903). The purpose is to simplify the tenets of the Faith for those who continue to wallow in what they think is the 'Catholic Church' out of obedience to a man and his hierarchy who long ago betrayed Christ and His flocks. This then, is an affirmation of the basic truths the Spotless Bride of Christ has always taught and cannot change or evolve as "living documents" for truth is truth. We begin with Step One, Foundation and Mission of the Church
In Book Four, Chapter Fifteen of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden, Christ speaks to the bride about why the good suffer in this life while the bad prosper, and how God shows her through a parable that He sometimes promises temporal goods but that these should be taken to mean spiritual goods. He explains why God has not predicted every single event to happen at particular times, although all times and seasons are known to Him and that He makes these things known as He sees fit through carnal measures so that man can better understand the heavenly treasures that await those who understand, are patient and willing to suffer whatever He deigns out of love for Him. God has a method to His 'madness'

As we say every day in the Act of Faith, "We believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived." If you have been deceived, and the vast majority have been, then realize what you've been indoctrinated with over the past 50 plus years cannot be from God but from His adversary. Our advice: flee the CONciLIAR confines as well as other man-made religions which do not teach these truths without compromise. Seek out a traditional chapel nearest to you. Knowing that is not as simple as it sounds, you can at least keep the Faith by knowing it. That is vital and that is the intent of this series, to enlighten souls on the tenets of the only religion Jesus Christ instituted on earth. Thus we continue with Step Two, focusing on the essence of the greatest Mystery: The Blessed Trinity
In Book Four, Chapter Sixteen of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden, the Blessed Virgin Mary tells the daughter how the devil often cunningly leads one and another of God's servants beneath the veil of devotion in order to cause them distress, and to which people indulgences are granted. It regards a tax collector to whom St. Bridget provided hospitality and the Blessed Mother cautions her of the cunningness of the devil. Mary uses the simile of a goose to magnificently illustrate how the Church is constituted and a hen to symbolize God, where He only protects those eggs who seek His warmth as she explains which people deserve to be called God's little chickens. God wants His chickens to come Home to roost

With today's release of Chaos Frank's horrific Amoris Laetitia as a result of the-fix-was-in SIN-odd on the Family, we continue to see the systematic destruction of the Church founded by Christ by the last six anti-popes, all hand-picked by Satan to deceive even the elect. John Gregory files a piece where he asks: What about the elect? Isn't it time they woke up and realized they can only live the lie just so long? Do they not realize that the newest emperor (read anti-pope here) has no clothes and, like the Wizard of Oz, he is nothing but a fraud? Not only is Bergoglio not Catholic, he's not even a priest, but a mere layman, one who leans left and even more left with his socialist screed that has nothing to do with the Nicene Creed. And yet, dollar to a donut, the same ol' resist and recognize crowd will make excuse after excuse for Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis not because they really believe this man could ever uphold the constituted evangelic Tradition and the purity of the orthodox faith, but because they're too proud to admit the sedevacantists have had it right all along and with each passing day that becomes more and more evident to all except those who "receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved" The result: "God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: that all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity." John again asks,
Do You See Satan's Plan Now?

On this second anniversary of the passing of Cyndi Cain, it's right and proper to republish the very last thing she wrote. It was on January 3, 2014. From that point on she could no longer hold a pen, let alone sit at a computer. Recently, in clearing out some files, I found a notebook where she had kept a diary up until the 3rd when she wrote what you shall find below. I have prayed on whether Cyndi would have wanted it published, and have discerned that God would like it published for it is the essence of who Cyndi was and will better illustrate the child-like love she always held for the Holy Trinity and the Blessed Mother, and why she was graced with special gifts such as locutions and even visions for, as we know from Church history, God chooses the most feeble of vessels to manifest His message to mankind. Cyndi never felt she was special and reluctantly accepted the limelight when it was for the welfare of souls, but often would recede back into the background afterwards for she was a contemplative person who preferred being a solitary soul. All her life she focused on loving God above all things by being a loving wife, devoted mother and devout Catholic. Truly, her goal was "to be a saint." I truly believe she has reached that goal. Here then are her final brief words in Cyndi's Final Lesson - a revelation of her heart and soul

The Mass of the Blessed Virgin shows us Mary as Mother of our Savior. She was predestined from all eternity for the role of co-redemptrix (Epistle), for as Eve was the intermediary chosen by the angel of darkness to bring about the fall of Adam, so also Mary the intermediary to whom the angel Gabriel delivered the message of salvation from Heaven. She is also blessed since she heard the word of God and obeyed it (Gospel). See the Votive Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday

We congratulate Fr. Gerard Mary McKee on his 25th Anniversary of the Priesthood in the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen. Ordained on this date in 1991, Fr. Gerard has become a pastor and missionary to Central and South America. Fluent in Spanish, Father travels several times a Month to Mexico and numerous times to Guadalajara where he is spiritual director to the convent there. He also travels at times to Argentina and other places in South America to bring the true Sacraments to those starving for the truths and traditions of holy Mother Church. Previously he would travel all the way to New Zealand. He has been pastor of Our Lady of Fatima in San Diego for the past four years, and is special to this editor for he administered Extreme Unction as well as bringing Holy Viaticum to Cyndi three days before her death. He was the celebrant for her Requiem Mass, conducted the funeral and blessing of the grave at Miramar National Cemetery, and fulfilled her final request to have 30 consecutive Gregorian Masses said for the repose of her soul. Prior to his present assignment to San Diego, where he was also pastor for a few years in the first decade of the 21st century, he was the pastor of Most Holy Rosary Church in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. May he have 25 more years of priestly service as a priest forever, according to the order of Melchisedech. For more on the CMRI, see Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen and for more on Fr. Gerard see Silver Jubilee
In Book Four, Chapter Seventeen of the Prophesies and Revelations of the holy mystic St. Bridget of Sweden, Saint Agnes returns to impart an excellent instruction to the daughter on the merits of living in a good and praiseworthy fashion, and the vital importance of avoiding a bad life that would be displeasing to God. A carriage symbolizes here fortitude and patience; its four wheels symbolize these four virtues: the complete surrender of everything for God's sake, humility, loving God wisely, and restraining the flesh discerningly. Certain other things are also added about members of religious orders. Wheels are round for a reason

As much as we hate to beg, we have no choice. If you have benefited in anyway from what we have published, we humbly ask your help to keep this publication on line. We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. If you have not donated before, isn't it only right and proper to donate now? Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward any bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

Prayer Before the Crucifix
Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."
Plenary Indulgence, Condition:
- Confession
- Communion
- One Our Father
- One Hail Mary
- One Glory be...

The Fatima Prayers
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.
O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!
O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.
