What the True Church really teaches
Why the V2 CONciLIAR church is NOT Catholic
Videos on state of the Church Today
  Help us reach more souls

To overcome the snares of the devil, which grow more wicked by the hour, we need, more than ever, to rely on God's right-hand man St. Michael the Archangel, whose Double of the First Class Feast we celebrate on Tuesday for his Dedication. We call on the protection of Our Lady and the heavenly winged knight - he who is like God, quis ut Deus to protect us as the times grow darker from sin engulfing the world in every venue of life, snuffing out whatever sanctifying grace is available in the few true tabernacles around the world. Thanks to the apostate Giovanni Montini aka Paul 6, he abolished the powerful prayer below that His Holiness Pope Leo XIII composed after given a vision from Heaven of God and St. Michael negotiating with the Archangel's equal - the fallen angel Lucifer, aka satan, devil, beelsebub - evil of the highest degree. That prayer, part of the Leonine Prayers recited after every Low Mass in traditional chapels today was taken away from conciliar Catholics and with it, the protection afforded by God's most powerful right-hand guardian. We have seen the tragic results of this over the past 50 plus years, and these next forty days are an ideal opportunity to put our knees where our mouth is and pray and fast, knowing we have the head of God's mightiest army behind us. How can we lose? But we need to do our part that begins with staying in the state of sanctifying grace and uniting with the Blessed Virgin Mary by devoutly praying her Holy Rosary as often as our states in lfe permit, hopefully daily, in order to fend off the demons that prowl throughout the world, seeking the ruin of souls.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do thou, O heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

For more on the full prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII, see O Prince of the heavenly Host

Speaking of St. Michael, the Annual Fatima Conference will be held once again at Mount St. Michael's in Spokane this year from October 7-11 with this year's theme "The Triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart". Registration deadline is October 1.

Over the past two weeks we had a smorgasbord of martyrs and we finish the month with three more martyrs - Sts. Cosmas and Damian whom we commemorate on the Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost and good King St. Wenceslaus on Monday. Then we begin a week of well-known saints and feasts with St. Michael on Tuesday as noted above. We close out the month the Sorrowful Mother with the feast on Wednesday of the holy Doctor of the Church St. Jerome who compiled all the scriptures into one, calling it the Bible four centuries after Christ. I ask all Protestants to please take note of the timeline. Catholics know that nothing new has been revealed once St. John finished his work on the Isle of Patmos. You might have heard of it. It's called the Book of the Apocalypse, which, thanks to the Revolution is now widely known as Revelation, more of the changes wrought by those abdicating the true faith for what they thought was best for man, not God. That has translated into over 33,000 different sects today with only one of them being the Church Christ built upon the Rock of Peter. Just as King Wencelaus brought the Faith to Bohemia, so also the holy Bishop St. Remigius, whose feast we commemorate on Thursday, brought the true faith to France in converting King Clovis earning France the title as "first daughter of the Church". And speaking of France, one of the most beloved of French saints is St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower, whose feast we celebrate on the First Saturday of the month of the Holy Rosary. But a day before on the First Friday of the month, we celebrate the feast of the Holy Guardian Angels. Trust always in your guardian angel and pray to them as often as you can.

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here.
Ever this day be at my side,
to light, to guard, to rule, and guide.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord, my soul to take. Amen.

Well, the man posing as a pope has wheels up as you probably read this and on his way back to Modernist Rome with Obama's blessing, but not God's. While so-called millions flocked to see and adulated the man the world would canonize tomorrow as the greatest thing to come along since sliced bread (not unleavened bread!), we're reminded what Jesus said in St. John 15: 18-19, "If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated Me before you. If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on account of this the world hates you." We can see how those who have no love for the true Catholic Church fawn over Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis just as Our Lord foretold and what holy scriptures portend in Daniel 7: 25, Galatians 1: 8-10, 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11, 2 Timothy 4: 3-4, 1 John 2: 18, 22, Apocalypse 13: 5 not to mention chapters 17 and 18. Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis has gone beyond the pale where even more secular voices are asking "Is the pope Catholic?". We answer with a resounding "No!" and every time he opens his mouth that becomes more and more evident to even the uneducated. No wonder he hates true Catholicism so as we continue to expose the Great Apostasy fostered by Vatican 2. Continuing his humanistic live-and-let-live, live-by-the-golden-rule platitudes, never did he proclaim Jesus Christ as necessary for salvation. Never did he proclaim the only way to true peace is through the Social Kingdom of Christ as our Sovereign King. No, it was all temporal that at times in his political correctness seemed almost pantheistic and whenever he did refer to the Lord it was for things Jesus did to help someone temporally. Not once did he reference St. John 8: 11, "Go, and now sin no more" You see Mercy is two-fold. If we are to expect God's mercy, then we must be willing to amend our lives. That part of it was missing. No surprise because Bergoglio, the worst of the worst, preaches to go by one's conscience and that one's Catholic faith is not that important, as long as you have food and water. He is humanistic to a fault and trying with all his might to make it more difficult for true Catholics and easy on pseudo-Catholics and non-Catholics. Keep in mind Our Lord's words in St. Matthew 12: 8-9, "And I say to you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God. But he that shall deny me before men, shall be denied before the angels of God."

Typical of this Marxist Modernist, who couches his platitudes in the heresy of relativism, he has so duped the majority of souls and will do even more damage with the upcoming Synod in Rome which more appropriately should be spelled SIN-odd since it is not only odd, but totally antithetical to call a democratic summit to talk about easing Catholic restrictions that have alway been upheld. This SIN-odd grew from Jorge's own acceptance of mediocrity and his statement that "we must be more lenient toward homosexuals, couples using contraception and living together outside of marriage, and the divorced" bodes toward a total liberalization of the Modernist church. It is a moral implosion that threatens more souls by making life on earth easier, yet much, much harder to get to Heaven, even if they can receive the wafer and CONciLIAR kool aid. I guarantee it won't help souls. God's not for it, satan loves it. That tells you everything.

To many it would seem the gates have shackled what to the world appears as the Catholic Church today. We know that is impossible because Christ prommised that would not happen. Therefore, it is only logical to syllogize that the church posing as Catholic is nothing but an evil imposter intent on stripping her of all semblance of Catholicity. Yet so many remain blind, deaf and dumb to it all, going along to get along without realizing how wrong they are and how they will have to account for their actions or inactions at their Particular Judgment when it will be too late to make excuses or say 'I didn't know'. That is why we have continued to publish the DailyCatholic and link you to reliable, trusted sites so you can't say you didn't know. Yes, it means leaving the comfort zone you've erroneously grown accustomed to, but it's time all realized that we owe our allegiance not to men who violate the Faith, but to God and all that His holy Catholic Church passed down from Peter through the last true Pope - His Holiness Pope Pius XII of happy memory. Since then the wolves have invaded and engulfed souls in their wicked jaws. The six imposters you see here could never be true Popes as previous true Popes have decreed as is documented to the right.

We've documented before many of the bizarre things he's said off the hip and formally that the world takes one way while Traditional Catholics see through the veneer and can peg his agenda so clearly. That's another reason he has targeted Traditional Catholics many times in derisively calling them "neo-pelagians" and worse. He can't touch sedes, so he focuses on those who subscribe to the Recognize-and-Resist camp. We've seen his hatchet job on the Franciscans of the Immaculate last year and now the SSPX. Do those who cling to the Society really want to align with these apostates? Puhlease. When, oh when will those in the Recognize-and-Resist camp wake up to the fact UNfrancis can't possibly be a true pope, let alone even be Catholic? His tactics are the way liberals and Marxists operate as is obvious from his humanist ridiculous, sacrilegious eco-cyclical and catering to Islam. But then, as he and his ilk proffer so humbly (yeah, right!), who wouldn't agree that we must not be concerned with "small-minded rules"? Those are supposedly passé in today's world. Who should want those? Every true Catholic worth their salt, that's who. And those who still remain Recognize-and-Resisters had better realize that the world loves to hear this. Shouldn't that tell everyone, who has ears to hear, that he is anathema, and worse, quite possibly the antichrist; definitely a precursor to thee antichrist.

When you discover what the True Church teaches you'll realize that ever since the death of His Holiness Pope Pius XII , the Catholic Church hasn't been the same. That's right, and Jesus tells us why. Because what poses as 'Catholic' today, governed by those usurping the authority in Rome and dioceses throughout the world, is a false church - an arrogant, out-of-control, failing man-made religion that has eclipsed the humble true Church consigned in these times to the catacombs. Jesus identifies these proud modedrnists who have eclipsed the true Church quite clearly in St. Matthew 7: 15 that we must beware of the false prophets who may appear in clothing of sheep, but inwardly we must recognize them as ravening wolves or worse. If the faithful couldn't see the "abomination of desolation" (St. Matthew 24:15) and devious destruction of the true Faith during the regimes of the first five imposters since Pius' passing, they should surely see it now as Roman-born Argentine Bergoglio continues his agenda to wipe out any vestiges of Catholic truth that would be offensive to non-Catholics in his Marxist mindset to please man, not God through his humanist efforts to form a One World Religion. If one reads St. Paul's warning in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-11 and what many would do in 2 Timothy 4: 3-4, we can more readily see what Our Lord meant in St. Luke 18:8 when He asked rhetorically if there would be any one of faith left when He returns.

How do we restore the sacred? How do we wake up the masses as to what constitutes a true Mass and that those in the CONciLIAR church of Vatican 2 do not have it? First of all, we pray. Then we inform so the deaf may hear and the dumb speak out the truths from the rooftops. Out of all reliable sources verifying the above, NovusOrdoWatch provides the best play-by-play of the implosion of the counterfeit CONciLIAR church and the schemes toward a One World Order which is intent on erasing all true spirituality from this planet. Others worth checking on daily are Christorchaos.com for articles and links, as well as True Restoration and the following blogs that we heartily recommend Introibo Ad Altare Dei, Fr. Anthony Cekada's Quidlibet, Bishop Donald Sanborn's In Veritate, and the satirical, but on-point Call Me Jorge. We also point you to Traditio which, although the Father Moderators will not admit the term "sedevacantism", 95% of what they provide reinforces this position. Note, we provide here those sites that carry almost daily coverage and in no way demean other sites that update more infreqently. For those sites, please see Traditional Catholic Resource Port.

As these sites above point out, the only obstacle to totally dominating as a totalitarian society is the Roman Catholic Church. Always has been. Since the death of the last true Sovereign Pontiff Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958 that wall of resistance has been steadily crumbling thanks to those with a worldly Marxist bent to accept the world and please man rather than God as is so evident today. Oh, the devil is laughing, but he seems to forget Genesis 3:15 where the Blessed Virgin Mary will crush his head with her heel. Oh, we can't wait! Until then, it's important to expose the wolves just as the holy Doctor of the Church St. Francis de Sales advises for the sake of informing souls of the dangers these charlatans pose.

It's also important that Protestants of every fabric, as well as those wedded to the dead-end Novus Ordo and its apparatchiks, realize Jesus founded only ONE Church upon the Rock of Peter and "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (St. Matthew 16: 18). Just the fact the fortifications are crumbling is evidence the church since the 60's is not the true Church for if it were, then the conclusion would have to be Jesus was wrong. That is blasphemy. Ergo, we need only revert to the Act of Faith we say every day wherein we pray "We believe these and all the truths of the holy Catholic Church because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived." Just the fact so many souls have been deceived proves it is not from God, but of His adversary lucifer and his legions. Also the fact that all other religions formed over the last two millennia Anno Domini were founded by men who thought they had a better idea than God give credence that they were all founded upon error. Thus Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodist, Baptist, Mormons, etc. may call themselves Christians, but considering they subscribe to a sect that broke from the true Church, and thus have abandoned their stewardship as God expects, this should have them quaking in their boots for unbeknownst to them, most have embraced Mammon. We say that not to denigrate those born into or taking up a false religion, but to "Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine" as St. Paul urges in 2 Timothy 4: 2. For the Apostle of the Gentiles was given to know as he warned in the next two verses: "For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables."

The vast majority of Protestants and Novus Ordinarians do not realize this and it is left to true Catholics to inform them, to reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine. Basically it means upsetting their comfort zone. They may not like it, they may put up their defenses or do as so many do, change the subject and get away as fast as they can. But if we, as true faithful Catholics who abide by the infallible, perennial Magisterium of nearly 2000 years, do not do as Paul instructs in verse five to be vigilant, labor in all things, and do the work of an evangelist to fulfill our ministry while keeping sober, then we will be held accountable for our stewardship and face bad news at our Particular Judgment. We may not win friends with our persistence to proclaim the truth, but if we can convert souls, that's all that counts with God. Man has a free will. That is something to remember and when rebuked, then shake the sandals and move on. After all, all Our Lord asks is that we try. He'll do the rest. We conclude with the reminder of what Christ says in St. Luke 18: 7-8, "And will not God revenge His elect who cry to Him day and night: and will He have patience in their regard? I say to you, that He will quickly revenge them. But yet the Son of man, when He cometh, shall He find, think you, faith on earth?" The truth is there is little faith left and it is dwindling by the day. It all makes sense today and it makes sense to take our stewardship seriously and commit our efforts to restore the sacred by driving the apostates out so that the churches can someday, in God's time, become truly Catholic churches again after they are re-consecrated with the filth washed away.

So while the Marxist apostate Mr. Bergoglio the unFrancis continues to proclaim ever so boldly collective salvation through protecting against 'global warming', we must realize each one of us is responsible for our own salvation and we've been given the blueprint before Vatican Two. Guess what? It still works. Guess what else? The new-fangled CONciLIAR religion doesn't work. Never will. That is why we find more waking up after praying for the grace to see, truly see, and that is where twitter can be a great means of conversion one soul at a time. That's why, to paraphrase an axiom in less than 140 characters, brevity is the soul of witnessing as we ask you to follow the DailyCatholic on Twitter After all, it is not 'global warming' we should fear but God's Global WARNING. Therefore you need to...

We urge you to join the 15-week Rosary Crusade organized several years ago by Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. to do our part for the salvation of souls by bringing souls to the true Catholic Faith and Sacraments, for the welfare of our country, and for our own special intentions as we all strive for holiness in our role as members of the Church Militant. We all need to continue to pray the Holy Rosary as often as our states in life permit. Probably few times in history have Christians been more reviled than in our day when the godless seem to be stifling free speech and forcing more crosses on those who won't compromise with the world, the flesh, and the devil. We cannot let up and should not limit our Rosary to one day a week. In fact there is now a way where you can join others in praying the Holy Rosary on ROSARY CALL where Tom Gilbrough from Mt. St. Michael's in Spokane has set up a conference call every evening now an hour earlier at 7 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. On the east coast this would be 10 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Central 9 p.m., and 8 p.m. Mountain time. Just call 712-775-7031 then, when answered, punch in access 393-323# You are encouraged to call in 5 to 10 minutes early to prepare to share the Holy Rosary with others. You can follow along with the prayers of the Rosary if you do not know them by going to Holy Rosary port The Rosary is the most powerful weapon we have. Connect those beads.

Having begun on Mary's feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on August 22, we have been bringing you a true Treasure of Tradition in the 59 Ave's that will continue up through October 11 and shortly beyond. Each day we bring you one of the chapters of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort's magnificent The Secret of the Rosary, signified by a rose on each bead composing the holy Rosary. In addition, we resume with Chapter 11 of Book One on The Prophesies and Revelations to St. Bridget of Sweden where we can better understand why we must suffer for Christ; and we provide Chapter Four of the late Father James F. Wathen's irrefutable early work on the Novus Ordo being The Great Sacrilege where he reveals the Expurgations in part two.

I know it's becoming monotonous to keep reminding our readers, but with bills in arrears of $1,500.00 we have no choice but to ask for donations. First, we cannot continue to publish if donations do not increase, especially monthly pledges so that we can budget. Secondly, this is a labor of love and there are no salaries or any perks that other non-profits provide their executive directors, often in six figures. We're fortunate to garner the low two figures and we're grateful for that even though our debts are the same or higher. It's just a fact of life and we've repeated it so many time, it gets so tiresome mentioning that it's the same loyal benefactors who always answer the call, but few others. Ask yourself why? Ask yourself if you do not have a duty before God to help those who labor in the field for Jesus and His True Church with no compromises to the false faith, the "mystery of iniquity" that has deceived so many. Is your heart that hardened that you wouldn't give for a worthy cause? Is not pledging a monthly donation worth it for perpetuating the one true Faith? The answer can only be determined by you and what you deem to be generous and worthy. Now I just ask for a little love from our readers by clicking the graphic below to take you to our Donation page. Thank you in advance.

Christ is our Savior, and the priests of the Church are made rich in Him. The Church is blessed abundantly in and through Our Lord Jesus Christ. The story of the deliverance of the the Jewish people from Assyrian bondage by Judith (whose name is the feminine of Juda) by fasting, is a type of the freeing of God's people by Jesus, of the race of Juda, at Easter after the penances of Lent. This Sunday was, in former times left vacant, being inserted in the missal after Ember Saturday; for since the liturgy of the previous day continued to Sunday morning, today had no mass of its own. The breviary lessons for the "Sunday after Ember Saturday" (Fourth Sunday of September), are taken from the book of Judith, whose story St. Ambrose, in the ...More

Saints Cosmas and Damian, twin brothers, distinguished themselves as physicians. They gave their lives for the Faith at Cyrus in Syria where they were buried. Besides using their skill for the healing of diseases they sought to spread the Faith in Christ. After many tortures they died about the year 285 in the ...More

To enhance each Sunday's Epistle and Gospel we present this special feature provided by John Gregory with the Haydock Commentary found at the bottom of each page of the Douay-Rheims Bible. The focus of the Commentary for the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost is the virtue of love. St. Paul introduces this greatest of Christian virtues to the Ephesians, the very same command Our Lord announces to all. It catches the Pharisees off guard as they try to trick Him, but we all know you cannot fool God. You'll note, from that time on they didn't question Christ again until, of course, He had been arrested and thrust into a Kangaroo court, so to speak. At all times He edified the kind of love we must extend to all, including our enemy in praying for their eternal salvation. "And Jesus Seeing Their Thoughts"

We continue with chapter thirteen of the Revelations and Prophesies imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden, where now Our Lord identifies the three devils that each of His enemies have within them, identifying the sexual organ, the heart, and the mouth as He likens it to a nautical theme where the ship is the body with the devil in the heart of the ship in a barrel of rotten apples leaving filth and bilge all around, and He likens the mouth to an archer whose arrows sting. The man Jesus is referring to is identified in Chapter Thirteen Christ Will Pass Judgment

Just as King Alphonsus VII was penitent, so also St. Louis de Montfort shares with readers in his magnificent work "The Secret of the Rosary" a case of St. Dominic's cousin, a ribald rascal named Don Perez who was so far off the rails he thought he had no chance at salvation. But God used him to make a point so that many could see the devils surrounding him and how only the Rosary could save him from damnation. Throught he prodding of the holy Dominic, not only Don Perez was saved but those who witnessed this miracle, once again showing the tremendous power the holy Rosary in helping all see that the Truth, indeed, will set souls free as St. Louis de Montfort offers a Thirty-Second Rose in sharing Assurance from Penitents

Saint Wenceslaus, duke of Bohemia, ruled that country during its period of conversion to Christianity. His devotion to the Holy Eucharist Is mentioned by St. Alphonsus in his book, 'Visits to the Blessed Sacrament'. Wenceslaus was in the habit of sowing and reaping with his own hands the wheat from which the hosts were to be made, and he used to rise in the night even during the coldest seasons to visit the Blessed Sacrament. His virtue was the cause of his death, for it aroused the antagonism of his evil-minded mother and brother, who caused him to be assassinated. For the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for this holy king, see In virtute Tua

We continue with installments of Father James F. Wathen's irrefutable work written in 1971. This was only six years after the close of the Vatican Two Council and few had the foresight or true knowledge of Catholicism to call Paul 6 on the carpet for this, the greatest of sins against God - the "abomination of desolation" as Christ warned in St. Matthew 24: 15. It was, he warned, a very grave sin. Father shows just how evil in addressing the serious alterations in the most key part of the Holy Mass - the Canon - and it was here where he determined without a shadow of doubt that the new "Eucharistic Prayers" altered the form of the Consecration of the wine, thus not confecting the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ, but rather into merely bread and wine for it was "grievous and damnable sin of sacrilege!" as Father writes in his stinging critique of John 23 and the changes he authorized which, as Father cites, one of the earliest traditional authors sounded the clarion on this. It was the esteemed late Patrick Henry Omlor in "The Robber Church" who alerted all that with the changes instituted, the Canon of the Mass ceased being a canon and thus, no Mass as we see in part four of Chapter Four The Changing of the Canon

St. Louis de Montfort writes of the time when the devil dared to challenge St. Dominic, hoping to show him up in front of 12,000 who had come to hear him preach. It backfired big time for ol' hornhead as St. Dominic showed the power of the holy Rosary and converted the Albigensians just as Our Lady had promised through her holy Psalter and faith in exorcising one possessed driving the devils back into hell after they had to publically admit they fear the Mother of God the most and enabled the masses to see the miraculous power of her holy Rosary through St. Dominic's fiat as St. Louis de Montfort offers up the Thirty-Third Rose to overcome the Bane of the Devil

The Dedication of Saint Michael the Archangel is the original feast of the leader of the Heavenly armies, Saint Michael. The captain of the heavenly armies, the angel named in the Canon of the Mass, held from early times the first place in the Liturgy among the other angels; wherefore many churches dedicated to St. Michael in the Middle Ages were simply known as churches "of the holy angel." St. Michael, whose name signifies "who is like unto God" cast the evil spirit out of Heaven, and overcame Satan in the struggle for possession of the body of Moses. God has entrusted our defense, in the combat with the devil, to the angels. The reason of this is easily understood. The devil is a spirit who has lost none of the powers inherent to his nature. In order, therefore, that the struggle should not be unequal, God has placed at our side defenders of the same nature as Lucifer, that is to say pure spirits, who are, however, greater and more powerful than he is. There are several feasts of St. Michael in the Liturgy. ...More

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a nine-minute sermon given seven years ago by Bishop Daniel Dolan on St. Michael the Archangel who is patron saint of many cities and churches. The bishop brings up a question: Why do we confess our sins to St. Michael? If we would confess our sins to each other as St. James says, why wouldn't we confess to St. Michael and Our Lady? So that we will realize the importance of humility without fear of anyone else knowing. Also, who has the ear of God more than His right hand man St. Michael as well as God's Immaculate Mother? We pray to St. Michael to guard us. Yes, we all have Guardian Angels, but it is St. Michael who drives off the devil and he knows our sins because he is a heavenly spirit. His Excellency explains in his sermon what a great saint he is for he always waits on God's command as the Bishop points out in St. Michael the Archangel

In honor of the Double of the First Class Feast of St. Michael on September 29, we highlight the entirety of the prayer Pope Leo XIII composed. We all know the short version, mandated to be included in the Leonine Prayers after every Low Mass, but few are aware of the longer version. After Vatican II, in legion with the devil Giovanni Montini outlawed this necessary prayer and then one wonders how "the smoke of satan" got into the sanctuary? The conciliarists wanted to make sure this powerful prayer would never see the light of day again for in it Leo foretold what would happen: The shepherd would be struck, the sheep scattered. We present both the long and short versions of this poignant prayer which should never be forgotten. The Power of the Prayer to St. Michael

We continue through the month of the Sorrowful Mother leading up to the feast of Our Lady of the holy Rosary the marvelous work of St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort's "The Secret of the Rosary" as he offers, with each chapter a rose representing an Ave that will amount to 50, the same number of one set of mysteries in Mary's holy Psalter of 150 Ave's. Today he shows the power of the holy Rosary as attested by such true soldiers of the faith in knightly luminaries like Simon de Montfort, Alan dee Lanvallay and others as St. Louis Marie-Grignon de Montfort offers up a Thirty-Fourth Rose on the Assurance from Counts and Knights

Saint Jerome was born in Dalmatia in 329. Even during his life he was renowned as a Doctor and interpreter of Holy Scripture. He defended Catholic teaching against many heresies; his chief aim was to be a perfect monk and before he would consent to be raised to the priesthood he exacted a promise from Paulinus, Bishop of Antioch, that this new dignity should in no wise interfere with his monastic vocation. To him we owe the translation of the Holy Scriptures, the introduction of the alleluiatic chant into the Sunday Mass, the spread of monastic life among the ...More

The final day of the month, following immediately the Double of the First Class Feast of the Dedication of St. Michael the Archangel, is the feast of the holy Doctor of the Church St. Jerome. St. Jerome was born into a wealthy family and used those riches to receive the finest education at the hands of the world's greatest professors in Rome and then employed that wealth of knowledge for Christ's holy Church. He amassed all of the Scriptures and, through the grace of the Holy Ghost was able to translate the inspired word into the Latin tongue, all wrapped up in the magnificent Latin Vulgate. For this massive work that he accomplished while continuing to carry out his vocation and mission of shepherding souls into Heaven, he has often been called Father of the Mother Tongue

Continuing with the Revelations and Prophesies imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden with Book One we see today the words of Christ to His bride about the method and the veneration she should maintain in prayer as Our Lord illustrates the three kinds of people who serve God in this world, and why it is paramount we all strive to be the third kind and live by His holy Will. The man Jesus is referring to was identified in Chapter Thirteen as a certain Cistercian abbot. Christ explains to His bride in Those who are not true will rue the day

As we end the month of the Sorrowful Mother leading up to the feast of Our Lady of the holy Rosary the marvelous work of St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort's "The Secret of the Rosary" as he offers, with each chapter a rose representing an Ave that will amount to 50, the same number of one set of mysteries in Mary's holy Psalter of 150 Ave's. Today he shares the wonderful story of Cardinal Pierre, a close friend of St. Dominic's and Papal Legate to the Holy Land where he convinced the Christian soldiers of the power of the Rosary in conquering the Saracens. Do you think the 'cardinals' of today would ever do such a thing as to trust fully in the Rosary? Please show us one if he exists or show us anyone who exhibits the holiness of St. Louis de Montfort who offers up a Thirty-Fifth Rose for Assurance Against the Infidels

During the month of October we will bring you a sermon a day on the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We begin with nearly a fifteen-minute talk given last year in May by Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI. Though the audio isn't ideal, the topic is important as His Excellency encourages us to Live Your Catholic Faith With Prayer Especially the Rosary

October is the month of the Most Holy Rosary as we honor Our Lady and with this we also honor her chaste earthly spouse St. Joseph with a special prayer to him all through the month. There is a normal indulgence of three years; but during the month of October the indulgence is 7 years when said after the recitation of the Rosary. There's a a plenary indulgence once a month, on the usual conditions, for the daily recitation of this prayer (Pope Leo XIII, Encyclical Quamquam Pluries, Aug. 15, 1889; S. C. Ind., and released on Sept. 21, 1889; Reinforced by Pope Pius XI, Ap., May 17, 1927 and Dec. 13, 1935). For a printout of the prayer so you'll have it available to pray daily, see Prayer to Saint Joseph

With so many new readers, we decided to continue to bring back the revelations to St. Bridget of Sweden in honor of this being her month when on October 8 we will celebrate her feast. We continue with Book One and chapter fifteen today where the King of kings shares with St. Bridget and readers of His treasuries and how so few value those because they don't want to know the truth no matter what it is because of several factors that prevent them form seeing in Chapter Fifteen The Truth, the Way, and the Life

As we enter the month of the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we continue the work "The Secret of the Rosary" by the dedicated disciple of Our Lady St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort. Today he shares a story of how the Rosary freed a woman who satan thought he had lock, stock and barrel, and used previous confessors to convince her of that. But through the grace of God a Father Henry was there when she needed him most and he was able to drive the devil away, saving her through the intercession and authority of the Mother of God. St. Louis offers a Thirty-Sixth Rose on A Contract Cancelled

In the prayer for the feast of St. Michael (September 29) we ask that the Holy Angels may fulfill the special office entrusted to them of watching faithfully over us upon earth. This feast included together with St. Michael the whole of the heavenly court. A distinct feast of the Guardian Angels originated only at a later date. The Spaniards observed it in the Sixteenth Century and Pope Paul V (September 27, 1608) declared the feast of the Guardian Angels, a feast of the whole Church, and ...More

During the month of October we are bringing you a sermon a day on the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today on this First Friday of October and Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, we prensent a seventeen-minute sermon by Fr. Benedict Hughes, CMRI given four years ago on this date as Father counsels us to Pray The Rosary Everyday

Thanks to Traditional Catholic Sermons we are able to bring you a sermon given three years ago by Fr. Casimir Puskorius, CMRI, pastor of Mount St. Michael's traditional Parish and Academy in Spokane, Washington. Father points out that we have no concept of the power and scope of these heavenly spirits and that we need to realize that is the kind of adversary in the non-serviam angels constantly tempting us for misery loves company. Thus we have the battle of good vs. evil and anyone not wanting to join the good angels, well, they should have their heads examined. should venerate and honor our guardian angels, especially those heavenly messengers assigned by God to be by our side to protect and guide us. Father notes that while these angelic good spirits are often represented as female, the Scriptures always depict masculine tendencies of strength and wisdom to the angels. Father explains the nine choirs of Angels and encourages us to pray to know our guardian angel's name as he shares his in his sermon on The Angels

In part five of Chapter Four, the late Father James F. Wathen got to the heart of the matter as he disected the new form of Consecration in the "New Mass", examining the Epiclesis (invocation) which encompasses the words pronounced at the moment of Transubstantiation at the Consecration. He focused on the three phrases Mysterium Fidei, Haec Quotiescumque and Pro Multis to show how mistranslating "for many" to "for all" and removing the Mystery of Faith from the continuous prayer of the priest at the Consecration and placing it with the people after the 'Consecration' meant that the priest was no longer the Alter Christus but rather the people in their priesthood to facilitate concelebrationin in every sense of the Protestant meaning of community, thus nullifying any Transubstantiation taking place as many saw the sacrilegious 'liturgy of the eucharist' on TV during Mr. Bergoglio's visit. Thus with the introduction of the "New Mass" of Baal, there was no longer the true Body and Blood of Christ, Soul and Divinity and, to the chagrin of those who read this now, they did not receive the real Presence at Holy Communion, though the efficacious graces were there for those who did not know. Father compared the the Epiclesis of the True Mass with that of the "New Mass" to show the crux of how the entire "New Mass" crumbles in one of the most important chapters in his book, with The New Form of the Consecration

Each Hail Mary is considered a rose, offered in groups of ten, where the confessor of the nuns had a great devotion for the Rosary and through his persistence he was able to convince the rest of the nuns who, except for one devout nun, had all become lax. Yet through the power of the Rosary he was able to effect change back to reverence and a recommitment of the sisters' vows of poverty, chastity and obedience to bear great fruit in reforming the monastery into a model religious house as silence and recollection transformed it back to a reverent house. St. Louis de Montfort offers a Thirty-Seventh Rose for Friendly Persuasion

Mary Frances Teresa Martin was born of saintly parents at Alencon (Orne) on January 2, 1873. She was educated by the Benedictine Nuns at Lisieux. After her ninth year she tried to enter the Carmelites, and put her case before the Bishop of Bayeux and Pope Leo XIII, whom she visited. At the ...More

During the month of October we are bringing you a sermon a day on the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today on this First Saturday of October we prensent a fifteen and a half minute sermon by Bishop Donald Sanborn given two years ago on this date as he shares the Motives of The Family Rosary

On the feast of St. Therese we want to bring you a lesson the late Cyndi Cain wrote seven years ago as she provided a role model we can all follow in our search for sanctifying our lives. If we trust in God and place all in His care and offer all our sufferings, discomforts and setbacks for Him as Saint Therese of the Child Jesus did, then we can be encouraged that it can be done. Cyndi reminded us to take consolation in the fact that it is not our successes that God judges, but our efforts. He knows what is in our hearts. Whatever cocoon God so chooses to place us in as His Catholic caterpillars in digging in for the Faith, we can be encouraged by the manner in which St. Therese handled the "little things" that so please God. We need to know that doing as she did will build up dividends in Heaven so that when it is our time to shed the cocoon of our mortal bodies, He will lift us up just as He did the humble little saint of Lisieux: a beautiful butterfly who continually flutters in our hearts and stirs souls to seek the divine Will. This editor is confident that Cyndi completed her caterpillar contemplative crawl on earth and dying in the state of sanctifying grace, presented herself to divine Judge as a beautiful butterfly by her exemplary life of prayer, penance and self-denial in much the way she emulated St. Therese in It's the Little Way that Leads to Holiness

Today St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort shares the story of a bishop's devotion for the holy Rosary. Said bishop admitted that despite his being a Doctor of Theology, there is no better education than to learn the holy Rosary and to say it as often as possible for it is indeed the ultimate weapon that will bear great fruit on earth and in Heaven. He vowed to preach the holy Rosary wherever he went for it was the simplicity of Mary's holy Psalter that would bring souls to Christ. Thus St. Louis de Montfort offers a Thirty-Eighth Rose for A Prelate's Purpose

We urge you to click the Rosary banner above for the Fifteenth and final Saturday in the Fifteen Saturdays Rosary Crusade organized by Bishop Robert McKenna, O.P. to do our part for the salvation of souls by bringing souls to the true Catholic Faith and Sacraments, for the welfare of our country, and for our own special intentions as we all strive for holiness in our role as members of the Church Militant. On this fifteenth Saturday of the Fifteen God pays the ultimate respect and honor to the Immaculate Mother by crowning her Queen of Heaven and earth, showing for all time how we are to honor the Mother of God as we enter the month of the Most Holy Rosary, the way Heaven wants us to honor her as we complete the fifteen decades with the Fifth Glorious Mystery for the Fifteenth and Final Saturday

We know that so many of our readers are unable to assist at a true traditional Latin Mass because of where they live and use the daily liturgy we publish to gain the efficacious graces possible through their prayers at home. We remain the only publication in the world to provide such and are grateful to God that we can provide such nourishment for souls. Just click the button below or send a check/money order to the address below. We are a bonafide non-profit 501c(3) religious association and all donations are tax-deductible. Whatever you would have contributed toward any bloated political campaigns or thrown away in the conciliar collection plates that only goes to covering up the sins of its presbyters and false primates while destroying all semblence of Catholicism, why not earmark it for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic? After all, shouldn't we all take St. Paul's strong counsel in 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 to heart and "stand firm, and hold the traditions which you have learned"?

We encourage you to learn more about the Traditional Latin Mass - the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in these videos at this link because each time you worthily assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in person, you gain graces that are placed in a "golden chalice", so to speak, and is offered to God to be weighed in substance when you stand before Him at your Particular Judgment. The more you have filled this chalice, the better will it go for your spiritual welfare in eternity, enhanced by your cooperation with grace. Know the Mass

When One Cannot physically assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass we provide additional prayers that can be supplemented with the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and the PROPER OF THE DAY to enable you to better prepare yourself at home. Of course, this never replaces actually being there, but it is much better than attending the Novus Ordo services. Therefore we have gleaned from The Key of Heaven prayers to say at home. It is very comforting to know that the Holy Mass is offered for us even when we are not actually present. But to enjoy the benefits which it procures, we must by a SPIRITUAL COMMUNION become partakers of the altar from which we are temporarily banished. Here we provide prayers in preparation for fulfilling assistance in absentia in addition to the ORDINARY OF THE HOLY MASS and PROPER OF THE DAY. PRAYERS IN ABSENTIA

    Prayer Before the Crucifix

Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself upon my knees in Thy sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst fix deep within my heart lively sentiments of Faith, Hope and Charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment, whilst with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Thy five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes the words which David in prophesy spoke concerning Thee, O Good Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

    Plenary Indulgence, Condition:

    • Communion

    • One Hail Mary

    The Fatima Prayers

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I adore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. And she conceived of the Holy Ghost.

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.

    Hail Mary...

And the Word was made flesh. And dwelt among us.

    Hail Mary...

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

    Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
