Each day we feature a title and/or salutation to Our Lady in celebration of Mary's month of May and today, on this seventh day of the oldest Novena in the Church we focus on the virtue of Counsel and look as well to Mary for she is Mary, Help of Christians, a title we honor her with today on the traditional feast of that wonderful moniker. Look to her for help always and show your commitment by praying daily her holy Rosary and The Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
For features in today's issue, see:

Counsel is the Gift of the Holy Ghost highlighted today. It follows Knowledge and Understanding in a natural progression of applying those two attributes to be able to convey common sense in full accord with the divine Will in whatever we do in life while always remembering to take our God-given role of passing on the truths of the Faith to others seriously. We will be held accountable before the eternal Judge for how we conducted our lives and Counsel helps us as a moral compass, so to speak, in navigating through life. It truly is a Gift we should all strive for, especially Traditional Catholics who have such a massive mission to enlighten those plunged in the darkness of the conciliar church and worldly values. Seventh Day of the Novena to the Holy Ghost

Today is the traditional feast of Mary, Help of Christians. The invocation Auxilium Christianorum (Help of Christians) originated in the sixteenth century and was added to the Litany of Loreto by His Holiness Pope St. Pius V following the victorious Battle of Lepanto. This feast was instituted for May 24 by His Holiness Pope Pius VII. Though not a feast on the universal calendar it is celebrated at various places throughout the world where, for instance Mary, Help of Christians is the patronal feast of Australia and a double of the first class with an octave leading to the Queenship of Mary is celebrated with great splendor. This feast has also attained special celebrity since St. Don Bosco, founder of the Salesian Congregation, dedicated to Our Lady, Help of Christians, the mother church of his congregation at Turin. The Salesian Fathers have carried the devotion to their numerous establishments. In America it remains a traditional feast, however today we celebrate the Double Major observance of the Octave Day of the Ascension

After his successful sixteen-part YouTube series "Sedevacantism - A Catholic Perspective" last year, Griff continues his a new series "Ecclesiology for Sedevacantists" in which he quotes from the authority of theologian Monsignor Van Noort from the work "Dogmatic Theology" - volume 2, "Christ's Church" on asserting the visible nature of the Church as Griff points out though Christ used many metaphors in referring to His Church it is the same and continues from Christ with the same hierarchy, flawed though some of our traditional bishops might be today, they are still legitimate and due indeed have the authority handed down by Christ to preserve and perpetuate the holy Faith and they are protected by the Holy Ghost for He is the soul of the Church and wherever you would go in the world the doctrines, teachings, sacraments and Holy Mass are the same for He is with true Catholics and their shepherds. Whereas in the false church of Vatican Ii - the conciliar church - though there is a body of a church structure clearly visible, there is no soul because the Sanctifier has withdrawn His protection. Griff points out various objections in proving in Part Seven: Soul of the Church

On the twenty-fourth day of May the flower is the RED POPPY with the corresponding Virtue being FERVOR. The hairy-herbed red poppy, though coveted for its opium by those who reject its beauty and look to use it for the means of mammon, emits a milky juice that has been used for authentic medicinal purposes to heal the body. But it is the fervor of its elixir spiritually that drives the virtue of fervor to heal the soul and therein lies the true beauty of the Red Poppy offered to Our Lady in Mary's May. Only a week left to offer her a bouquet with the Devotion of The Little Crown of the Twelve Stars of the Blessed Virgin Mary
We hope to reach more souls through this newest technology of twitter in the left column. It is something that prior to now we have avoided. However, in an effort to reach beyond the choir, if you will, and to provide inspiration with short prayers and ejaculations, facts, links, comments and quips, we've launched out into the deep of social networking with twitter.com/dailycatholoic and ask guidance from the Holy Ghost to navigate others to the beacon we offer with the safe port of the DailyCatholic. Some have suggested we start a facebook page and our answer to that is we have enough on our plate with this site which contains well over 50,000 pages already. If someone wants to start a facebook page for SANCTUS/DailyCatholic we would be open to communicating with them, but we ourselves do not have the time to manage it.

The Fatima Prayers
My God, I believe, I adore, I trust and I love Thee; and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not trust, and do not love Thee.
(repeat the above 3 times then bow your head in reciting the following:)

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in tabernacles throughout the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in unison with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O Most Holy Trinity, I addore Thee! My God, my God, I love Thee in the Most Blessed Sacrament!

O my Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners.
