In continuing John Gregory's dissertation on the Sermon on the Mount, we focus on verses 14 through 19 of St. Matthew 7. It has been established that one must enter by the "narrow gate", but Our Lord speaks of the pitfalls that will befall us if we veer for we could very well fall into the pit and, in so doing, be damned. If we really think about it, it should be enough of a deterrent to keep us on the straight and narrow for Christ has warned of the ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing as we see today in the counterfeit church of conciliarism where there are no good fruits and because of its rotting trunk, rooted in man's own making and not of God's, it is destined to be cut down and cast into the fire. Perhaps if said Vatican Two institution taught what really happens to the damned soul, they'd realize they must flee the Novus Ordo entity like wildfire unless they prefer the fire!    With this Easter Week issue we resume with the soul-searching life-changing words imparted to St. Bridget of Sweden by our Lord and His Blessed Mother. In chapter thirty of Book Three, St. Bridget is party to a heavenly conversation between the holy virgin and martyr Saint Agnes and the Mother of God. From the very first sin people have been stealing from God and so few realize how deadly a sin theft can be for it is taking from our neighbor something that is not ours and playing God in the sense that we think we should have it instead of someone else. This mindset has led to wars, divorces, apostasies, what have you, leading to eternal damnation. The seventh and tenth commandments open a plethora of problems for those who think they can control others by stealing from them. This has evolved into such heretical governmental systems as Islamism, Communism, Fascism, Hegelianism and Atheism which only lead to chaos. The so-called "Social Justice" today has been so skewered by modernists that it barely reflects true Catholic teaching today. This has led to such aberrations as liberation theology. But what does one expect when putting their trust in man rather than God? Sadly, that is what Vatican Two did and, from that, we can see where that bad tree began and where the root of all evil begins and ends when fertilized by envy as we can see in Step Forty The Seventh and Tenth Commandments

During this Easter Week we celebrate the feast of the holy Doctor of the Church and Roman Pontiff Saint Leo the Great. On Wednesday, April 11 we honor this phenomenal saint who was so vigilant and masterful in all he did from staving off the devastating Arian heresy, to reinstating solid doctrine when the Robbers Council sought to undermine the Faith (sound familiar to another Robber Council held from 1962 to 1965?) to miraculously stopping the "Scourge of God" Attila the Hun in his tracks at the gates of Rome. Through the grace of God and Leo's heroic virtue, the ruthless barbarian left without sacking the city. Leo was the only Vicar of Christ to convene two major ecumenical councils. He is best remembered as the "Defender of Rome" Such was the fifth century spiritual giant St. Leo the Great Defender of Rome and Codifier of Orthodoxy.
