Confessor and Doctor of the Church
A Must Read!
Few scholars have the thorough acumen to trace and document the why, what, when, where, how and who as Atila has done in his marvelous Eli, Eli, Lamma Sabacthani? collection which, book by book, exposes the the massive, murky mess that has been created as a result of the Vatican II agenda. His latest book above Vatican II, Homosexuality and Pedophilia is key to understanding the purpose and rationale of those who would twist the Sacred Deposit of the Faith to accommodate sin and who must be exposed and eradicated for the welfare of Holy Mother Church. It is a must read in order to alert all to how deep the rot goes and why the scandal in America was really only the tip of the iceberg. We encourage you also to read Gary Morella's review of Vatican II, Homosexuality and Pedophilia.
With the atrocities that are going on at Fatima, we want to keep you up-to-date

Pray for John Paul II that he will awake from the devastating 40-year slumber and return Holy Mother Church to its rightful place as the true Mystical Body of Christ and consecrate Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart. Read our editorial The Judas Kiss.
PAPAL PROOF OF WHAT THE CHURCH TRULY TEACHES
For those who truly want to delve deeper into what the Faith teaches and what past Sovereign Pontiffs have decreed, we recommend for your vital reading to better KNOW THE FAITH in order to KEEP THE FAITH, pertinent Papal decrees which put to the lie what is being promulgated today by the Vatican II church. We strongly encourage you to read these to understand how today the modern church is in Apostasy when compared to what had always been taught by Holy Mother Church and enforced and warned as most grievous by previous Pontiffs as you'll see in CREDO & CULTURE
Tuesday-Wednesday - June 8-9:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Tuesday we honored a man known the world over and admired for both his acting and directing prowess, faith and family values. What he has accomplished this year is nothing short of a miracle and we're not even half way through the year! Yet hundreds of millions have seen his masterpiece 'The Passion of The Christ' and been deeply moved by the genuine Catholicity of his film that will live forever as a visual work of art on par with the works of the masters Michelangelo and Carravagio. Our honoree today has taken the celluloid canvas and brought it to life in a way that few meditations could ever capture for it was done through the intense passion of a man of Tradition whose truly Catholic work has touched more souls than all the bishops combined over the past 40 years. With great honor we presented the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Mel Gibson
Christ or chaos
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey weighed in on something every person should consider, especially if they were born Catholic. This is pertinent as he pointed out what Catholics should do over the death of our 40th President of the United States: Pray for his soul. So many are saying Ronald Reagan was a man of faith, but he practiced Presbyterianism. Did he, in his last days, return to the Faith into which he was born? That is something we must pray for as Tom shared the Catholic truth of death in his column Pray for the dead
As a bonus column, Tom provided an ideal compendium which every Traditional Catholic should print out and share with a Novus Ordinarian Catholic for in his succinct list in addressing the inconsistencies of Cardinal Dario Castrillon Hoyos, Tom pointed out quite clearly that Modernism and Traditionalism cannot co-exist. Which is it? The Traditional Catholic truth from Peter through Pius XII or the conciliar religion of the last 40 years? The answer is a no-brainer to people with common sense - those who know their Catholicism. Tom summed up the logic in his excellent column Roman Myopia
Sunday-Monday - June 6-7:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Resuming our Tower of Trent Tributes, we honor three outstanding lay leaders who have made such an impact on the Traditional movement and for Holy Mother Church. Going alphabetically, the first honored was Michael Davies the prolific British writer whose writings are well-known worldwide and who, as head of Una Voce for eight years, served as the unofficial adjutor between the cause of the Latin Mass and modern Rome. He has literally written thousands of articles on the Faith and the liturgical consequences that he is regarded by many as the foremost liturgical lay expert in the English-speaking world. In addition he has served as the willing guide for 15 years for the Chartres Pilgrimages each Pentecost. Now his health is waning but he continues to write as he is able and we offer our prayers for him and thank God for his writings that have better enabled confused Catholics to more clearly see the subterfuge that has undermined Holy Mother Church. Thus, as chosen by the readers, we presented the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Michael Davies
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Trinity Sunday, Father served up a veritable banquet of hope and encouragement of how prayer is so important and so simple as he shares Christ's Own words and those of St. Paul as well as the renowned Doctor St. Augustine. Father pointed out that too often humans try to complicate life and their spiritual life as well and Our Lord made it so simple, so clear. It is not a gray area or ambiguous territory, but simple black and white. There is good and there is evil. Those choosing good and following Christ's commands and striving to do the Triune Divinity's Will, shall be rewarded with everlasting life. Those choosing through their own free will to deny Christ or do their own thing have chosen to follow another who is not God. Therefore they will reap the rewards of their fruits: everlasting hell-fire. Yet, as Father lamented, the leaders of modern Rome can't seem to recognize that simple logic of His Holy Church and thus have made the path to salvation all the more difficult. Prayer and obedience to God are the only answer to staying on the straight and narrow as he pointed out in his sermon
Prayer and the Holy Trinity
Friday - May 28:
Friday we completed our clergy presentations of the Tower of Trent Trophy by enshrining Bishop Richard Williamson into the Hall of Honor. Since his consecration to the episcopacy in June 1988, he has been a gardener of the harvest in forming holy priests as rector of the Society of St. Pius X Seminaries in America and South America. He has covered the western hemisphere in fashioning priests for our Lord's vineyard. Richard Williamson was born into an Anglican family in England on March 8, 1940. Though he did not realize it at the time, he was born literally in the shadow of the feast of angelic Doctor Saint Thomas Aquinas on March 7, a saint who would come to play such an important role in his life. Converted to True Catholicism, he became a priest of the Society of St. Pius X and created bishop along with three other men dedicated to serving God in June 1988. As we have seen since, the resolve of this bishop has strengthened, manifested in his commitment to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. Thus we completed our tribute to the clergy by enshrining His Excellency in the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor and presenting the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Bishop Richard Williamson
Shears and Tears of a Lamb
Catharine Lamb registered probably her most compelling, significant column to date as she addressed the Novus Ordo priests in pleading with them to awake from the terrible 40-year slumber that has so mesmerized them into a stupor. In the humble fashion of another Catharine - Saint Catharine of Siena - this Catharine entreated the priests to realize and educate their flocks that Holy Mass does not entail opening your mouths, but your hearts. Only when the priests open their hearts to the Truths that no pope had the authority to change the Immemorial Mass, canonized by the infallible decree of Trent and codified by Pope St. Pius V, will order be restored to their parishes! She points out that one cannot wallow in the mud without getting dirty! Expressing the thoroughness of a good housekeeper, Catharine advised that the only way to clean things up and for priests to cleanse themselves with the only cleaning agent that gets souls totally cleansed - the Sacramental divinely ordained Traditional Latin Mass! She illustrated the bitter, barren fruits of the "new springtime" and called on the priests first and foremost to say "NO!" to the NO! She laid it out so beautifully in her column
Escape From the Absurd!
Thursday - May 27:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Thursday we presented the Tower of Trent Trophy to Father James F. Wathen, the relentless and mighty missionary of Truth and Tradition who has logged millions of miles over the last thirty years bringing the Sacraments to Traditional Catholics throughout the United States. For Father James, have the True Mass, will travel. While even to this day he remains a simple Traditional priest, he has never been one to withhold his opinions and facts and it is his books which will be his legacy for future Catholic generations who will see the wisdom of his words. His most famous book is, of course, The Great Sacrilege, which in 2001 Father graciously gave us permission to publish on The Daily Catholic. The fact is that in over thirty years NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO REFUTE his words for they hold up and are in harmony with the perennial, infallible Magisterium of the Church. It is a book we strongly recommend every Catholic read. In these days when he continues the good fight including trying to beat cancer, it is our honor to enshrine Father into the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor and present the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father James F. Wathen
Sanity of Sanctity
Father Lawrence Smith contributed some reflective thoughts for the Octave of the Ascension in sharing the attributes of many of the saints who surrounded Our Lord while He was on this earth including the Holy Family, St. Mary Magdalen, Sts. Mary and Martha, and even St. Dismas. It is their example in blazing the path to Heaven that provides for the faithful guide signs to help us on our journey. It is what spurred the Little Flower of the Child Jesus on despite her frailties and what should motivate us to focus only on that which gives grace for though Christ gave us His Spirit of Truth as the blueprint for joining Him in everlasting glory after His Ascension, He also gave us these saints to help us better understand, apply and fortify the spiritual architecture of our souls in order to clothe us fully in the garment of grace to be more worthy of following Him and His saints into Heaven. Father Lawrence focused on the attributes of four saints in particular beginning with the most recent St. Therese of Lisieux and then in order, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Joseph and, saving the best for last, the Blessed Mother of God - Gate of Heaven as Father crowned the Octave of the Ascension with his reflective article
Following Our Lord and His Saints into Heaven
Wednesday - May 26:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Wednesday we presented, in alphabetical order, the Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Nicholas Gruner, the indefatigable defender of and crusader for Our Lady of Fatima. There probably is not a more famous priest today, known in both Traditional and Novus Ordo circles and regarded in a far different light in the latter for the vast majority of Novus Ordinarians have been dumbed down and duped into thinking Father Gruner is to blame where, in truth he has the cure for world peace. It is not found in the military operations in Iraq or in the boardrooms or in the U.N. chambers or NATO or any manmade operation. It is not found in the words of the Pope, but rather in the simple words of the most pure human who ever walked this earth - the Blessed Mother of God who told the children at Fatima to have the Pope consecrate, in union with all the bishops of the world, her Immaculate Heart specifically to Russia. If the Pope did this, peace was guaranteed for Russia would be converted. If not, then Russia's errors would spread worldwide. There is no question they have and Father remains one of the lonely firm voices crying in the void: Listen to your Mother! Other than millions who have pledged their Rosaries, the powers that be have not only ignored his plea, but sought to silence him. For his undaunting courage in the face of persecution it is our honor to enshrine Father into the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor and present the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Nicholas Gruner
Gabriel Garnica responded on the hemming and hawing that has been going on over the recent volley launched by the 48 pro-abort Democrats who are publicly intimidating the bishops. Their logic defies the sensus Catholicus and any prelate who doesn't agree has already long ago abandoned the True Faith and signed on to the open apostasy of the American church which could care less about doctrine or souls, only the temporal favors and status, even power, they will gain if they wash their hands of the controversy by twisting the truth by posing the canard that the 'sacraments cannot be used as a weapon' in stalling off those who are demanding the bishops stand up for Christ. Sadly few will, and even fewer will stand up for His Holy Church and Faith practiced and preserved from Peter through Pius XII. Gabriel equates the two camps to the two camps that day in the Roman Courtyard when Christ stood bloodied before a bloodthirsty mob and Pilate washed his hands of responsibility out of cowardice and selfishness in sacrificing an innocent man to the angry mob's hate. So also today those who do not stand for the uncompromising principles and truths of Our Lord, stand with Pilate and the mob calling anew "Crucify Him! Crucify Him!" They are cold-hearted toward the execution of millions of innocent unborns, but cry foul when the immoral behavior of Americans which they enabled, is brought to light for the world to see the uglier side of America. Gabriel pointed out that the line in the sand has been drawn and there is no straddling that line. It's either we are with Christ all the way or we are against him as he emphasized in his column
Deprogramming Diabolical Disorientation
In an article just released by The Remnant, Dr. Thomas Woods fleshed out the pits of the fleshpot that started it all - Hugh Hefner and his infamous Playboy empire. Tom wrote on why, having just celebrated its 50th anniversary (yes, it has been that long!) at the end of last year, it is in dire trouble for the beasts have devoured their own through their lustful ways in discarding the moral virtues and God's laws in order to give in to the world, the flesh and the devil. Because of the attrition rate due to the promotion of contraceptives and abortions, the great Playboy empire will be lucky to see its 60th anniversary. Christ says very clearly, "No man can serve two masters." Those choosing mammon are at the mercy of the beasts as Dr. Woods pointed out in his poignant article in which he entreated young men to say "no more" and commit to restoring moral values in his piece Beasts and Men
Tuesday - May 25:
Today we present, in alphabetical order, the Tower of Trent Trophy to Bishop Bernard Fellay, who was not only one of the four famous priests consecrated to the Episcopacy that prompted the meaningless Ecclesia Dei canard, but also one of the youngest bishops ever at only 30 years old. He was elected Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X in 1994 and remained so for the past 10 years. Headquartered in Menzingen, Switzerland he's been responsible for overseeing the expansion of the SSPX worldwide in following the charge of the man who both ordained and consecrated him Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. While we have done extensive research in trying to find biographical information on His Excellency, we have unfortunately come up dry other than the basics. Therefore we shall share some of the highlights of the Society during his formative years and finish up with his latest declaration which assures he will hold fast to Tradition. One thing for sure: God knows what counts and we will count on that to enshrine His Grace into the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor and present the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Bishop Bernard Fellay
Hope on the Horizon
Why is it Catholics won't defend their doctrines? That is a good question but it's left to a person who is Jewish - Ben Shapiro - to tell Catholics and especially the bishops that "Without a set of beliefs that guide behavior, religion means nothing. These Catholic politicians are essentially asking that the Church debase itself so that they can get re-elected on a platform contradictory to Catholicism. They are asking the Church to discard its right of free speech and to subvert its own values for sake of personal political gain." As Traditional Catholics know, many bishops have already debased themselves and the name of the Church for the favor of mammon. Though we have long known the USCCB and the majority of the Masonic prelates in the U.S. are in the Democratic Party's back pocket, now the Mule Party is boldly coming out publicly in giving the bishops their marching orders. We agree with Shapiro that only those who stand and fight will survive as we present his article from Sunday's Townhall column
Democrats to bishops: Shut up!
Monday - May 24:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Monday we began presenting the Tower of Trent Trophy to those the majority of voters chose among the living - those who carry on the good fight in keeping the Faith and preserving the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. There are eight and we've broken it down by honoring first those members of the clergy and then the last three will be the three outstanding lay honorees. In beginning with the clergy alphabetically it was no coincidence that we honored first Father Gommar A. De Pauw, a Belgian-born priest who has been a priest for 62 years and still going strong for the years have been good to him as God has preserved his noble general of Tradition. Father has seen action on the front line of the wars - the Second World War where he was a medic and then later a Chaplain, and later at Vatican II where he was a personal expert and "procurator" and saw first hand how the Rhine was indeed flowing into the Tiber for the subterfuge wrought from that 21st Council would so throw Holy Mother Church into a terrible malaise over the next 40 years. While Father was cooperative in many things, he would never say the Novus Ordo and, indeed was the first priest to establish the Catholic Traditionalist Movement before Vatican II had even come to completion. Before Cardinal Ottaviani ever penned his Intervention, before Archbishop Lefebvre ever established the Society, Fr. De Pauw began the preservation of the Faith with the CTM (Catholic Traditionist Movement). Thus for his long service for Our Lord and Our Lady, we proudly presented the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Gommar A. De Pauw
Christ or chaos
Dr. Droleskey weighed in with a "Double Dose of Droleskey" as we presented two articles. One dealt with what the problems really are and where they can be fixed: at the top as he called the Holy Father to task for his rejection of the Social Kingship of Christ and for his selling out the True Faith through ecumenism in which the pope claims the God Who Catholics worship is the same One the Muslims worship. How can that be? It cannot and Tom shared the sad facts that this pontiff needs to awake to the terrible malaise he has allowed the Church to sink and right the ship before it is too late. It should give those who think this pope is a good pope or doesn't know what is going on a chance to rethink such irrationalization considering the facts as Tom pointed out in his column More Than a Matter of Governance
As part of the double header, if you will, we brought you a bonus column in which Tom went right after the Fatima issue we broke a few days ago from the Portugal News, and the pope's indifferentism to Our Lady's mission which through Tom's syllogisms shows a vast gulf between what was Catholic and what passes as 'Catholic' today. Tom took no prisoners in blaming the pope for the scandalous actions and inactions of his bishops, specifically Bishop Seraphim Ferreira e Silva of Fatima who is no Fr. Michael McMahon as Dr. Droleskey pointed out in Indifferentism's Rotten Fruit
SUNDAY - May 23:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Sunday we completed our presentation of the Crimson Cross - the posthumous arena for 7 of the 15 charter recipients of the Tower of Trent Trophy. Our seventh recipient listed alphabetically was a priest who toed the line of the Vatican II changes until he'd had enough when he realized in 1977 that those to whom he must be obedient were not being obedient to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, and therefore being disobedient to God. Realizing the path had just grown narrower, he resisted the unlawful command of his bishop to give communion in the hand and stood up to the apostate bishops against such a sacrilege. Rather than fleeing the land, he dug in and, in his indomitable Texan-style reminiscent of John Wayne, set about to revive the Old Faith in the Los Angeles area for the next 25 years. Through his efforts he established a school in Garden Grove which is thriving today and one of the few places in the largest diocese in the U.S. where there is a daily Traditional Mass. The fruits of his work grow stronger every day. He died at the age of 87 on Our Lady's Saturday on September 28, 2002, having harvested a heritage of good fruits during the last 25 years of his noble priesthood laboring for God's lambs. We were proud to present posthumously to this no-nonsense Texan of Tradition the Crimson Cross award and
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Frederick Schell, S.J.
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for the Sunday Within the Octave of the Ascension of Our Lord, he emphasized the need for prayer. Just as Jesus promised He would send His Spirit after He ascended and the Apostles were told to wait and pray, so also in this time when Christ's True Church has seemingly become an orphan, we can take hope in knowing that Christ will never abandon us. But we must do our part for as the Word of God affirms these things are written on our hearts. In other words it is instinctive, but the devil does all he can to blot this out with distractions that prompt us - due to our human nature from the effects of Original Sin - to lower our guard and give in to temptation. That is why the only antidote is prayer and entreating the Holy Ghost to imbue us with the fruits of the Sanctifier to strengthen us in our resolve to fend off the world, the flesh and the devil. Father pointed out that the New Order does not help, cannot because it is not divinely ordered. He wrote, "What happens to the individual Christian who is not 'prudent and watchful in prayers' happens on a grand scale to the whole of society. Without Christ the King and a solid foundation in Christian principles, the nations are on the road to perdition, quickly sliding to their doom." This is what is happening and yet, we know in our hearts that the only means of spiritual survival is to return to the divinely ordained tried and true in order to survive the wiles of the devil. It is
Written in the Hearts of Men

Kevin Tierney reflected Sunday on some stark omissions in the Novus Ordo readings which are purposely left out in order to deny that while God is loving and merciful, He is equally just and rightfully vengeful. The omissions point out the obvious denial by the New Order of the existence of hell and the fact many go there who do not heed God's holy will. Kevin points out that while those subscribing to the Novus Ordo may "talk the talk" they can never "walk the walk" because they have eliminated part of the Word in order to remain in their comfort zone and be in harmony with the humanistic Protestant concept that all are saved who just say "Jesus saves." Catholic truth proves otherwise, for there is much more Our Lord asks of His children and Kevin showed how we apply what we pray only in the Traditional Rite of the Immemorial Mass. Kevin illustrated this quite clearly in his comparison of Propers of the Sunday Within the Octave of the Ascension of Our Lord in the Traditional Rite with the Novus Ordo Seventh Sunday of Easter in Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi
Saturday - May 22:
On Saturday we honored the sixth of the seven listed alphabetically posthumously. He was a priest whom the esteemed Dr. Dietrich von Hildebrand, a fellow recipient of the Tower of Trent Trophy this past Tuesday, called a fearless defender of the Faith - Fidei Defensor. He was born into a large Italian immigrant family in New York City in 1915 and growing up knew little of the gods of atheism or the Antichrist but his experiences and schooling would prepare him well to warn others of the terrible curse that visited this nation during the last half of the twentieth century and now threatens to explode early in the twenty-first century. Were it not for his deep abiding Faith and love for Christ, he could easily have gone the way of apostasy and liberal theology as so many of his fellow Jesuits did. Indeed God protected His faithful servant from the ravages of heresy and schism even though he had been exposed to these terrors in Rome and state-side. Because he knew his Faith, he was able to identify the problems and was chosen to alert others of the evils that were determined to wipe out Catholicism world-wide. He is best remembered for three books that should be required reading in every home: Gods of Atheism', 'The Roots of Violence', and Antichrist'. He succumbed to cancer shortly after the last book came out and yet, through his work he will be remembered as we honored this Fearless Fidei Defensor today with the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Vincent P. Miceli, S.J.
Gabriel Garnica addressed in his column the total illogical reasoning of the relativist who make no sense with their illogical rubbish such as "I am pro-choice, but not pro-abortion," or "I am all for the homosexuals, but not for same sex marriage." Recently this same crazy logic has been applied by pro-abort pro-sodomite 'Catholic' politicians in lashing out at the few bishops who have decided to uphold Catholic doctrine and adhere to the Apostle Paul's infallible words in 1 Corinthians 11: 27, "Wherefore, whoseover shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord." Gabriel pointed out that the reason these excuses are even allowed is because those who should be the guardians of the Faith are moral cowards and unreliable from the pope on down. Basically, as Garnica syllogized, one cannot count on cowards to come through when the chips are down. Political correctness, fashion and fads be damned, there is only one course to follow and that is the path that has been forged by the tried troopers of Truth and Tradition. To veer from that path is most dangerous and will be very, very harmful to one's spiritual health. All the foolish talk about the dangers of using 'communion as a weapon' are nothing but smokescreens to deflect the truth that few bishops are ready to be uncompromising and few politicians are ready to comply with true Catholic doctrine. While they gather up all the fool's gold they can, they pass the priceless treasures of real gold at their fingertips. Sad and tragic, especially when it comes time for accounting for their worth. Gabriel explained in his column
The Devil's Dilemna!
Friday - May 21:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Continuing in our presentation of the Crimson Cross in the posthumous arena we honored on Friday the son of German immigrants, Walter L. Matt who came from a long line of Catholic lay journalists. His grandfather launched the German-language Wanderer, and his father, Joseph Matt, a Papal Knight of St. Gregory (K.S.G.), founded the English-language Wanderer -- still the oldest Catholic weekly newspaper in the United States. Walter Matt was an editor of The Wanderer for some thirty years before he founded The Remnant in 1967 of which he was the editor/publisher for some twenty-five more years. Over his long, fifty-some years in the Catholic press apostolate, he wrote countless studies on countless different topics, concerning both the Catholic Church and the secular State. He was a highly decorated veteran of World War II and was still active in the fight to restore the traditions of the Catholic Church until his death in 2002 at 87 years of age where he passed away in the odor of sanctity at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 21st, the 8th day within the Octave of the Solemnity of St. Joseph. Walter Matt is generally regarded as one of the pioneer founders of the Traditional Catholic Movement in the United States. And so, in respect to his accomplishments and the example he set in word and action, we take great delight in presenting to this trailblazer of Truth and Tradition, the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Sir Walter L. Matt
A Chronicle of Catholic Tradition
In the eighteenth installment of our on-going mega-series on "A Chronicle of Catholic Tradition" in chronicling the history of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Holy Mother Church, we arrive at the 5th century. It was a time of moral depravity corroding the Roman Empire quite similar to the breakdown of the moral fabric in the United States today when anything goes. In addition the Arian heresy had taken a great toll and that had given rise to more heresies just as we have today in the twenty-first century with the widespread acceptance of what Pope St. Pius X called the "synthesis of all heresies" - Modernism. From this bleak horizon God rose up two stalwart heroes to defy the odds and reassert the Church's growing influence on all of Christendom. One was a determined bishop who forsook riches to follow his missionary spirit in bringing the True Faith to the pagan Emerald Isle conveying the Creed through the simple, natural beauty and clarity of God's green shamrock, so abundant in the land he converted. St. Patrick was his name and his feats are legendary. In Rome, a holy Pope was elected and strength returned to the papacy with the convocation of two major ecumenical councils and the heroic, courageous action of meeting the "scourge of God" Attila the Hun at the gates of Rome where, through Divine intervention, the barbarian turned back from sure sacking of the eternal city. Holiness rises out of the ashes of Depravity and Heresy
Ascension Thursday-May 20:
Tower of Trent Tribute
We honored on Thursday the priest who authored several best-sellers, such as The Jesuits, Hostage to the Devil, The Vatican, The Keys of This Blood, The Final Conclave, and his final one Windswept House to name a few of his page-turning thrilling novels on the Church. Though he passed nearly five years ago, it took until now for his former Vicar General of the Jesuits to exonerate this man who was so maligned. The truth which we have always maintained is that Father Malachi Brendan Martin was indeed granted a full and legal dispensation from his Jesuit vows of obedience, but not from celibacy. He was given a perpetual celebret to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in private. Finally his reputation has been restored as it should and we take great delight in presenting to this warrior of the word, this scribe of intrigue and inspiration
Tower of Trent Trophy to Father Malachi Martin
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon for Ascension Thursday, he followed Our Lord's final command in Mark 16: 15-16 in going back to basics. Things have become too complicated over the past 40 years and one reason is to cover up the obvious subterfuge that conceals the true Faith, masqueraded as Catholicism today. In truth, what passes as 'Catholic' today is nothing but Protestantism for, as Father pointed, out the bishops who signed the documents of Vatican II placed themselves in schism for what they signed was condemned by holy pontiffs who foresaw the mortal cancer of Modernism. Father reminds us of St. Paul's words regarding the faithful's superiors "Consider how they ended their lives, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday and today, yes, and forever." God does not change and neither does the means of salvation as Christ established in the salvific New Covenant. Yet if we are to believe the Modernists, the faith is ever evolving and changing. Anathema at its gravest and yet so few have a clue. Father entreated all to "Keep the Faith" which begins and ends with preserving the Immemorial Holy Sacrifice of Tradition. While the generals and most of the commanders have cowardly abandoned ship and so meekly waved the surrender flag to the enemy, it is left to the few who remain faithful to defend the ramparts at all costs! Father explained in The Truths of the Traditional Faith
Wednesday - May 19:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Continuing in our presentation of the Crimson Cross - the posthumous arena for 7 of the 15 charter recipients of the Tower of Trent Trophy - we honored on Wednesday the third of the seven alphabetically. That is, of course the noble French Archbishop who stood fast by Tradition when seemingly all others abandoned the house of God. For his transgression of obeying God before man, he was greatly persecuted. In his honor we present today a tribute to the modern Apostle of Tradition, who, rather than caving under pressure by so many of his cohorts, stuck to his guns and was loyal to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church as he walked his own Calvary in rejection and even illegal excommunication from the Church he so loved. Father Ramon Anglais, who provided the biography used for His Excellency, wrote "In the fluctuations of history God raises extraordinary men and women charged with a particular mission. Without them, the face of the world and the Church would not be the same today." The Great Facade of the Vatican II Revolution has managed to pollute the minds of so many Catholics as to the holiness of this man and the fact Archbishop Lefebvre was right in doing what he did for the welfare of Holy Mother Church. And so it was fitting that we honored posthumously and presented the
Tower of Trent Trophy to Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
Mario Derksen resumed his excellent analysis of Pope Pius XI's solid and absolute encyclical Mortalium animos. In light of all the bafflegab and ecumania streaming out of modern Rome, His Holiness Pope Pius XI's words ring truer than ever for he warned back in 1928 against the very insanity that has run wild over the past several decades and grows worse by the year, by the month, by the day. Mario provided the proof that ecumenism is not just a grave error, but an anathema which, in effect, is apostasy pure and simple for it denies the infallible truths that the Catholic Church is the only true Ark of Salvation. Mario showed how Pius affirmed the mandatory dogma of Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, and how today the modernists deny it as he provided the third installment on An Analysis of the Encyclical Mortalium Animos
and other true Catholic Teaching on Religious Unity
with part three The Necessity to be Catholic
Tuesday - May 18:
Tower of Trent Tribute
Continuing alphabetically with the 'H's, we honored and enshrined on Tuesday in the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor a man whom Pope Pius XII stated was the eminent philosopher of the 20th Century, and could truly be a Doctor of the Church for modern times were he canonized. Considering the factory of saints being churned out in modern times, that could be a possibility but let us not rush such exalted finality of honors for the man honored today would not subscribe to such instantaneous sanctity. He was a disciple of what Holy Mother Church taught for centuries and found in Her the truths, wisdom and logic he had sought. He was a man who spanned the trials and travails of the turbulent twentieth century from World War I through very harrowing times in World War II to the Revolution of the sixties and Vatican II. He warned post-conciliar popes of the grave error of following in this path and wrote two masterpieces The Devastated Vineyard and The Trojan Horse in the City of God in trying to warn the faithful of the folly followed by those committed to the reforms of Vatican II. He was a prolific writer who has left us many excellent works and is lionized in a biography by his second wife Dr. Alice von Hildebrand Soul of a Lion. We presented posthumously, the

Gabriel Garnica called to task those politicians and bishops who are truly "Frauds of the Faith." In this year when finally the public from the faithful to the secular media are watching the bishops carefully, especially on the whole pro-abortion and pro-sodomy agenda the true shepherds will shine if they stand by Catholic doctrine and do not wash their hands of their apostolic responsibility before God and their flocks. The bishops must pull the lever on the Frauds of the Faith posing as politicians who disregard the tenets of the Faith in favor of the favors of mammon. Tower of Trent Trophy
We kick off our tribute to the charter recipients of the Tower of Trent Hall of Honor with the first of fifteen so honored this year. Going alphabetically, we begin today by honoring and presenting the Tower of Trent Trophy posthumously to the man known as the "Lion of Campus" - Bishop Antonio de Castro Mayer. He was a wiry, small frail man whose courage was taller and fuller than the mighty rain forests of his beloved Brazil. The love in his veins for Jesus and His Blessed Mother and the one True Faith of Tradition stretched further and flowed freer than the Amazon tributaries of his land. His exclamation of the True Faith shone over his country as majestically as the towering statue of Christ high above Sao Paulo. This Lion of Brazil was the determined, loyal field marshal of the epic battle against Fideicide as he rallied and maintained the last Traditional Diocese in the world, all in a humble corner of South America. He was Dom Antonio de Castro Mayer, Bishop of Campos, Brazil who was called home on the Feast of Saint Mark, the Evangelist representing the Lion - April 25, 1991 at the age of 87.
