Blame Father Gruner!

Editorial on

The rationalized spin of the Modernists.
When sleeping dogs like the Rector of Fatima and the President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue lie, they really lie. In trying to divert the obvious attention away from their hidden agendas, they do what any deceiver would do, blame someone else. Who? Who better than Father Gruner? He's the Vatican's favorite whipping boy. While every abuse in the world goes on under these curiouser and curiouser (as Lewis G. Carroll would put it) curial canines' noses, they ignore the stench of their own scent and blame the one whose purpose is to clean out the pens of all the excrement piled up over these past 40 years. Yeah, it's a dog's life alright! Woof, woof to the liars!

"Natural disasters are intensifying because of so much supernatural disaster wrought by infiltrators of His Mystical Body, members which have withered on the vine and have infected so many others with their heretical rot. Of course, you have Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald, the liberal President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (talk about an oxymoron) agreeing with everything Guerra and Silva say. Why not, they're all in cahoots. One lie is as good as the other. Their credibility is so warped that no one knows what to believe anymore, including the secular media and ZENIT reporters. If only the Pope had consecrated Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart."

A reporter for ZENIT news, who dabbles in commentary when her strings are pulled by the Vatican apparatchiks, has just revealed the whole source of the reason there has been so much confusion over Fatima becoming an interfaith shrine. Why, of course. It's all Father Nicholas Gruner's fault.

Yeah, that's the lame excuse the Bishop of Fatima Bishop Serafim de Sousa Ferreira e Silva has given in a "three page faxed statement" in Portuguese. The reporter Delia Gallagher admits that in seeking a translation, she cannot verify it is official, but then who can verify anything these days as official regarding the Holy See or Fatima? In the translation we are told by His Excellency who quotes the notorious rector of the Fatima Shrine Monsiignor Luciano Gomes Paulo Guerra that "It is our conviction that the article in the Portugal News has been guided by some members of the group led by Father Gruner."

Yep, it was Gruner's gang who undermined this. My, my, If this good Fatima priest weren't so interested in saving souls and reminding us all of the urgency of the Mother of God's request, he might be flattered by all the attention he's getting from these Modernists who persist in rationalizing the Faith away. For an excellent compendium on this rationalization, see yesterday's excellent column by Gabriel Garnica on Rationalization and The New Order. Yeah, John Vennari, who was there in person for Catholic Family News, also must have made it all up as well and even doctored the tapes he recorded. Has to be. There's just no possible way a bishop or a rector of the holy shrine at Fatima would lie; is there?

Fatuous followers of Fatima may believe this latest blame, and if they do, then I've got a ton of swampland in Florida for which they'd be the perfect pigeons. Hey, think of it. Their droppings of incredibility from these struthious strutters would suffice as solid landfill for the quagmire. Oh, that's right, they're already bogged down in the muck and mire. It's called 'the spirit of Vatican II' or is that 'civilization of love' or 'a new springtime'? Whatever it is, it's definitely sunk to the bottomlands. And yet these swamp vipers continue to spit out lies. My how they spin it by bringing up the timeworn tripe that Fr. Gruner was "suspended 'a divinis' by the Vatican in 1996 - meaning he is relieved of his priest functions..." That of course, as we all know, is a flat-out lie and totally illegal canonically. Yet the VaticantwoArians continue the charade, deflecting blame on anyone they can to take the attention off the real agenda: a One World Order - a One World Religion which John Paul II and the liberals whom he has placed in power have vowed to seek come hell or high-water.

We've seen the high-water with the floods, mudslides, and earthquakes. Look at Iran. In one mighty quake, estimates of up to 50,000 people were snuffed out; mostly Muslims. Do you think they're dancing with the virgins in paradise right now? Forget political correctness and tolerance, it's time to remember Church Dogma on salvation: Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus - "Outside the Church there is No Salvation." That is what should shake up the ecumenists, and turn them into missionaries for the conversion of non-Catholics instead of the incessant, insidious, unproductive dialogue that continues ad nauseum as we wait for the next shoe to drop. Think about it. California is still shaking from the 6.5 temblor recently. The terrible forest fires have denuded the landscapes making flooding even more a danger. Look what occurred last week in Big Bear. Throughout the world God is not happy. I wonder why.

Natural disasters are intensifying because of so much supernatural disaster wrought by infiltrators of His Mystical Body, members which have withered on the vine and have infected so many others with their heretical rot. Of course, you have Archbishop Michael Fitzgerald the liberal President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (talk about an oxymoron) agreeing with everything Guerra and Silva say. Why not, they're all in cahoots. One lie is as good as the other. Their credibility is so warped that no one knows what to believe anymore, including the secular media and ZENIT reporters. If only the Pope had consecrated Russia to Mary's Immaculate Heart.

Consider this non-Catholic-speak from Fitzgerald in rationalizing that it's all a big flap over nothing:

"As I said at the conference in Fatima, we must learn to journey together, for if we drift apart we do ourselves harm, but if we walk together we can help one another to reach the goal that God has set for us."

Ah, yes, the blind leading the blind. "We can help one another." Not! Catholics need to know without a shadow of a doubt that there is only one true Faith, one True Church and salvation is impossible without it. Has Fitzgerald forgotten what Our Lord says in Mark 16: 16? "He that believeth, and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not, shall be condemned." Evidently he has because it is he and his cohorts who have "drifted apart" and done themselves "harm" - great harm. He's definitely forgotten what Christ said just before that in verse 15: "Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature." You'll note Jesus did NOT say: "Go ye into the whole world, and dialogue with those who don't believe and share ideas and whatever you come up with is fine." No, He made it perfectly clear and charged the Apostles and their successors to "Feed My lambs...Feed My sheep" (cf. John 21: 16-17). However, instead of following Christ's command, these baffle-gabbers of the New Order - these wolves in shepherds' clothing - baah their way around the absolutes with more interpretations that defy description.

Take for example Guerra's outlandish assumption of what the Blessed Mother of God intended in 1917. According to the rector of Fatima, she didn't come to save souls by converting more to the True Faith per her request of consecration, but rather she chose Fatima for the inane reasons Gallagher's wrote about yesterday:

"The rector of the shrine contends that the Fatima apparitions were exhortations to ecumenical dialogue. His statement says that the Virgin Mary knew that her choice of the site in Portugal would one day be understood as a deliberate association with the daughter of the Islamic-prophet Mohammed."

Please, don't patronize us with such rubbish. We're to believe that Our Lady appeared in 1917 for the purpose of melding Islam - a pagan religion - into her message of salvation for Catholics? This when there was not one word mentioned in any Heavenly Message or from any messenger about accepting Muslims for their faith by Our Lady or anyone else? Oh, but he's not done. No, listen to this:

"Monsignor Guerra further suggests that in the Fatima apparitions there are 'at least two implicit calls to the exercise of the spirit of dialogue with persons of other convictions.' In the first and third apparitions, he said, the Angel of Peace lies prostrate on the ground in prayer in the third apparition, Communion under the species of bread is given to the oldest seer, while the two younger, Francisco and Jacinta, receive Communion for the first time under the species of wine.

"Since the practice of receiving Communion under both species has fallen out of wide use in the Latin-rite Catholic Church, but not in the Orthodox Churches, 'the message of the Angel of Peace contains an exhortation to ecumenical dialogue with those Churches separated from Rome for a thousand years.'

"The angel's prostration in prayer 'has connotations for any religious confession,' and recalls that 'all human beings are God's creatures and loved by him, and that with such prayer we can maintain serious contact with other religions, such as agnostics and even atheists."

Yes, why not!?! Don't forget sodomites and adulterers. We must be tolerant of their sinful ways, and not judge their actions. Not! Our goal is not to "dialogue with the infidels" but to CONVERT them! Has Guerra ever heard of the great missionary saints? Yes, but he doesn't want to be reminded. It puts a crimp in the Modernists' agenda.

And that's what gets to the craw of every VaticantwoArian who has tried to swing the 'tail wagging the dog' with the incredible insulting interpretation of the Third Secret of Fatima. They figure we've been so dumbed down over the past 40 years that we'll buy anything. Not true Authentic Roman Catholics. Oh, how they hate Father Gruner. The more they hate him, the more true Catholics should love him, and thank God for him.

Gallagher concluded her commentary in yesterday's ZENIT news with this remark: "The question remains, however, just what the Church is called to do with that message."

You've got to be kidding me. Truly, Delia, do you really have to ask such a question? Our Lady made it very clear what "the Church is called to do with that message": Have the Pope in concert with all the bishops of the world consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart! That's all. No deep hidden meanings or evolving doctrines or mysteries. A simple request. Yet it has gone unheeded going on 87 years now. Where do you think the Message of Fatima would be without Father Gruner? Do you think the Vatican would have even attempted to put any kind of spin on the "Third Secret" if this persistent, loyal priest-son of Mary hadn't spent every waking ounce of his life trying to effect the fulfillment of Our Lady's request? No! They'd rather let sleeping dogs lie, but there was this 'pest' that wouldn't let them. So instead of facing the truth and doing what the Mother of God asked as the world disintegrates because of our disobedience, they tried to lull the rest of the sheep back to sleep with a tale that Aladdin would love, but not Mary's Divine Son. So, thank you, Father Nicholas, and more power to you. May we be able to blame you for more of the dissolution of the revolution and conversely, deserved credit for your unending dedication to the restoration of Holy Mother Church.
