George Washington converted to Catholicism on his deathbed. During his life he prayed and God answered the prayers of the Father of our country. Though he was not Catholic while president, he acted more Catholic than any of the leaders of the Vatican II church today.

When it comes to all these ungodly laws being passed by liberal judges because of the lobbying and intimidation of a small minority out to do away with the natural and supernatural order, it is wise to keep in mind the following:
"Unjust laws are, properly speaking, NO LAWS!"
His Eminence Saint Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church

  • Cardinal Untruths: Mahony's testimony in sex scandal clashes with earlier statements and reality In a fairly frank, but honest assessment of the cesspool that Cardinal Roger Mahony has created in the United States largest see, reporter Jeffrey Anderson brings to the fore the very real possibility that he could face perjury charges for his lies. Like so many hierarchs in the corrupt conciliar church, he has contradicted himself - this time under oath - (as if that meant anything to prelates who have abandoned God and His Church). In a recent deposition serious allegations have surfaced to confirm what every true Catholic knew - that he has not only covered up the sodomite scandal in Southern California, but has been one of the leading foremans in destroying Holy Mother Church with his Gestapo tactics that have sent so many fleeing for the exits of the church. This cover-up of the scandal promises to make Boston look like small change. It is time someone depose this scoundrel who has deceived so many as the mangy wolf in shepherd's clothing. The only problem is the only ones with any guts to do so are civil authorities for if this turns out as bad as it sounds, well, the cush post at St. Mary Major is already taken. Maybe the Lateran has an opening. Too bad he can't take his Taj Mahony monstrosity with him. Most would be thankful. Anderson has the facts, but we warn you, there are a few obscenities in the quotes he has provided in the whistle-blower publication la weekly.

  • As Europe becomes engulfed in Islamism, Bush closes the door to Italy's Catholic statesman and sensibility You don't slap the hand that feeds you, especially when all the others are out to starve you, and that is why one isn't quite sure what to make of the snub by President George Bush of Italian Catholic Rocco Buttiglione who was snubbed by the White House in an international visit organized by a Catholic contingent. Just a few scant months ago Bush claimed that he was in solidarity - where have we heard that before? - with Catholics and as soon as his election was secure, he high-tailed the other way. Watch the cabinet appointments closely, folks. Such is the politics of political correctness, but it sends a bad omen to those who have been duped into trusting him for as we and other writers have pointed out - both Kerry and Bush are not the answer. In fact, after the elections there are more questions than answers, and the stonewalling is not extended only to a rejected Italian philosopher but to the very people who elected him. Now we know what red states mean, they're red in the face from being deceived and having the rug pulled out from under them. You see it has nothing to do with the red carpet treatment, more of the carpetbagger variety. It's not as if they weren't told. This is just one more visible sign that this administration, like all those before, will maintain the status quo towards a one world order.

  • The French Revolution begins anew but this time the battle cry has a rainbow tint colored by satan A new law is about to be enacted in the the land of Our Lady and the Daughter of Holy Mother Church when it will become a crime to speak out against sin, most specifically sodomy. As homophobia becomes the vice of the vanquished, the New Order church slips deeper into compliance as President Jacques Chirac, who jumped with glee when John Paul II touted as the new cry of the new church "liberty, equality and fraternity," moves closer to putting this dangerous bill into law. Oh for the saints of old who would stand and resist!

Editor's Note: Regarding our news item in the last issue, one reader - Brendon Copley submitted the following enlightenment. We did not realize it was the Indult referenced in that story. We stand corrected and publish the reader's facts:

The Society of St Pius X has a priory in Brisbane, as well as a primary school, and has three priests ministering to those of us who have left the circus that is the Archdiocese of Brisbane. (Yes, unfortunately, it really is a circus... the local papers have been reporting lately how one diocesan priest "baptizes" using the words "creator, liberator and sustainer". The Archbishop (Bathersby) has told him that these baptisms are invalid and he must use the correct formula, otherwise he may not be able to work as a priest. Of course there is now a big hoo-ha about how "authoritarian" the Church is. The irony is that Archbishop Bathersby is one of the most progressive and ecumaniacal - yes I spelled that right! - bishops in Australia, but because the papers have reported it, he had to do something to save face with Rome... Sorry for the digression, just trying to put things in perspective!)

The Latin Mass referred to in the article is celebrated according to the so-called "indult". I attend the SSPX Masses but I have checked out the indult on one occassion out of curiosity. Fr Jordan SJ is probably one of the more "conservative" priests in Brisbane (and he did give a good sermon that day), yet he is quite opposed to anything or anyone supporting Archbishop Lefebvre or the SSPX. I do not believe that he celebrates the traditional Mass except on Sundays. The article says he "revived" the Mass in 1990. Why then? Perhaps because the SSPX established their priory here not long before, as is usually the case!

I do not write this to condemn Fr Jordan or the people who attend this Mass if they do so for good intentions. I only intend to point out that the fullness of Catholic tradition (not just a Sunday Mass, but the other sacraments, adoration, family and adult catechism, primary school education, etc) can be found in Brisbane thanks to the SSPX priests. Unfortunately I have to disagree with your comment that Fr Jordan and his flock are a "remnant that is growing and planting the seeds of tradition". The priests of the SSPX are doing much more for 2-3 times as many people, even travelling to various regional areas of Queensland (the Australian state of which Brisbane is the capital) on a regular basis to provide the Mass and sacraments.

Don't Forget! Airing Wednesday: "Heaven's Key to Peace"

  • Fr. Nicholas GrunerSpecial program to air nationally next week in exposing the undermining of Our Lady's Peace Plan by Vatican II apparatchiks On December 8, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, Father Nicholas Gruner's Fatima Center is set to televise on the PAX Television network at noon and again at midnight Eastern and Pacific time, 11 am and pm Central and Mountain, a special documentary titled "Heaven's Key to Peace" which documents the subversion by the post-conciliar church of sabotaging the Blessed Mother's words and purpose in order to further their own agenda, spawned by the Pact of Metz in 1962 which caused the modern church to do a 180 in respect to the danger of the sickle and hammer. Millions have died because of this betrayal and the salvation of countless billions has been effected because of the subterfuge and cover-up. The Fatima Organization, intent on setting the record straight so more will know the true Fatima message, has raised enough money to air this special on a relatively newer, but respected network known for family-oriented programming. Presently PAX TV reaches 95 million homes nationwide. Maybe, just maybe a few will wake up and realize the obvious: Russia has NOT been consecrated, and the modern Vatican has lied about the Third Secret.

  • President George Washington, who died a Catholic, publicly stated the Social Kingship of Christ in his first official Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1789

WHEREAS it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favour; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a DAY OF PUBLIC THANSGIVING and PRAYER, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:"

NOW THEREFORE, I do recommend and assign THURSDAY, the TWENTY-SIXTH DAY of NOVEMBER next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed;-- for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish Constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted;-- for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge;-- and, in general, for all the great and various favours which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also, that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions;-- to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shewn kindness unto us); and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best.

GIVEN under my hand, at the city of New-York, the third day of October, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and eighty-nine.

    (signed) G. Washington

  • Air of sanctity now supposedly harmful to lungs The London Telegraph has filed an article that could be listed under 'more reasons not to convert to Catholicism': Candles or incense can be harmful to your health. That is the wierd deduction some medical "experts" have come to in Europe regarding tests done on the effects of lung cancer from those exposed to the "unhealthy air inside churches" due to candle smoke and incense. Well, if you've gotta go - and we all will eventually - what better way to go? This is just another story that further seeks to demystify God's part in all this and cater to our physical temporal needs at the expense of our spiritual health. The alarmists are trying to scare the devout away by rationalizing that anyone spending a great deal of time in God's house is at risk. What they don't say is that if you don't spend time in His presence you are at greater risk. This article sounds like a Vatican II plant to persuade people to be cautious about their physical welfare while ignoring what is truly important. Amazing how many are in Heaven today because they inhaled the air of sanctity.

  • Ratzinger reflects on the monster he helped create Like Dr. Frankenstein, the Prefect for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is chagrined that he and his cohorts of Vatican II can no longer control the monster they created in bringing the Church into modern times. The great experiment of aggiornamento has blown up in their face just as Our Lord assured, "By their fruits you shall know them." The very fact they even ventured into such apostate waters is evident fact that they have left the True Church and fashioned a new one which, while maintaining all the trappings and offices, only has the semblance of Catholicism and in no way reflects in doctrine or liturgy the Church founded by Christ. And John Paul II and his chosen minions lament the direction Europe and society have taken? It's a little late. Oh, wait, there is one way to head off the onrushing locomotive of secularism that is running roughshod over the sacred and to save countless souls globally: Abandon the failed experiment of Vatican II and return uncompromisingly to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church!

  • Bishops so confused they can't tell Catholicism from Protestantism as they waffle on course to take on Scriptural discernment Why is it these kind of problems very seldom raised their ugly heads before Vatican II? Could it be because the leaders of the Church were Catholic? Duh! It is obvious that today's prelate are anything but as they bicker amongst themselves about something that is so obvious. Catholics do not interpret the Bible, but defer to the Church's infallible, perennial Magisterium to discern it as She has always done. Advice to the bishops: Abandon the New American Bible. Go back to the Douay-Rheims Version. But these sheepish shepherds don't seem to have a clue as the Washington Times reports.

  • Signs the Apocalypse is near LifeNews has four articles that point to the fact we are not in Kansas anymore, Toto. One deals with the FDA finally admitting the problems documented from the curse of the abortion pill; another details how the UN wants to take over the internet as part of the New One World Order in muscling its way over individual rights; a third article is an omen for what the ACLU has been trying to do: eliminate God. Now Canadian chaplains must remove the crosses from their caps, reminiscent of the terrible persecution south of the border earlier in the 20th century when such valiant souls as Miguel Pro willingly gave his life for Our Lord. Many who gave their lives came from the olde sod on the Emerald Isle but today they wouldn't recognize the olde sod or the olde Faith for Ireland is barren, thanks to caving to sin and modernity. That's why, as sad as it is, it is no surprise that the Irish Prime Minister and Dublin's Archbishop have betrayed Our Lord and it didn't take 30 pieces of silver, but persuasion by the sodomites to push for homosexual unions.

  • Skylstad tabbed as head of USCCB! The more things change the more they stay the same! Anyone thinking the US bishops of the New Order were sincere in their words to all that they were changing their ways and would rein in offenders - including bishops that have covered up sodomite Novus Ordo 'priests' are left once again holding the bag. When will they learn that with Monday's announcement that Bishop William Skylstad was elected the next president of the USCCB, replacing the outgoing Wilton Gregory who did nothing on his watch, it's more of the same ol'-same ol'. Add to this that the VP elected was Cardinal Francis George and you can see it's a good ol' boys' club intended to protect their boys. Skylstad is under fire in his own diocese for covering up pedophilia and sodomy by priests he had appointed. Yes, in the New Order church the more things change, the more they stay the same. Forget the welfare of souls, just push the agendas that feed into the world, the flesh and the devil! When will the Novus Ordinarians wake up that they're being fleeced of their faith and everything else!?!

  • 'Pope' Boteach uses Arafat's death to spew his vicious agenda against a holy Pope It was only a matter of time before that viper who so viciously attacked Mel Gibson for his Passion of The Christ would re-emerge from his snake hole. This time the death of terrorist Yassir Arafat has stirred the coals of Rabbi Schmuley Boteach. Instead of seeing a like terrorist in his own country's leader Ariel Sharon, he takes a potshot at a very holy Pope. No, that would definitely not be John Paul II, but Pope Pius XII as Schmuley regurgitates more lies and slander against a man who did all in his power to save the Jews. That is documented, but it means nothing to Schmuley who has to continue the hate against good Papa Pacelli. 'Pope' Boteach admonishes John Paul II for his obvious and foolish admiration of Arafat and maybe those who have given themselves over to mammon will finally realize Karol Wojtyla, the darling of the world, can't even please them anymore for to his regime no one is evil except those wishing to return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. As Gary Morella pointed out, "As a result of the Vatican incredibly painting the father of modern terrorism as a benign leader with sadness at his death, the professional Catholic haters like Boteach have come out of their holes to once again castigate the Faith by resurrecting a well-known litany of lies. It's not enough that the Vatican has spokesmen who tell us that no one need convert to the true Faith any longer, that Voodoo priests deserve an ecumenical forum, that Masses said for those who died to keep paganism out of the Church can be celebrated with pagan rites, and incredibly, no spokesman whatsoever who will admit to the fact that there is a problem with sodomite priests who need to be rooted out from every diocese in the world. Now we are treated to the spectacle of Rome de facto honoring a murdering thug by giving a message of 'appreciation for his leadership.' I thought the end justifying the means was not a part of Catholic teaching." Well said. We can accept Boteach's reservations, especially when the modern Vatican has gone out of its way to praise Islam, but when he attacks Pius XII, well them's fightin' words, Rabbi, and we will not stand for such slander!

  • The specter of betrayal - Arlen Specter and his resistance to his Party and Pro-Life Perhaps it is fitting that Bush will face problems from the man he helped re-elect in Pennsylvania. Staunch pro-lifer Pat Toomey was ganged up on by Bush and supposedly pro-life "Catholic" Senator Rick Santorum in order to enable liberal moderate and pro-death Republican Specter to win renomination. Santorum's reasoning? Toomey wouldn't be strong enough to defeat the Democratic opponent. Says who? Well, now he and Bush and the rest of the GOP have to deal with this renegade who many fear might become head of the Senate Judiciary Committee and give the President more headaches in Supreme Court appointments. Specter may be the pro-death advocates' last chance but fortunately pro-lifers everywhere are outraged and fighting back.

  • So much for euphoria in Boston, disenfranchised Catholics brace for more church closings Archbishop Sean O'Malley, Boston's besieged ordinary, is battenning down the hatches as he readies for the closing of two more church closings in his See. Typically of the Novus Ordinarian prelates, he has sent a woman to do a man's job, hiding from the flock by thrusting a spokeswoman to try to spin the scene. But, like Cardinal Ed Egan has discovered, the resisters will not go quietly. They are planning organized sit-in protests in this town where the Revolution began. Quite appropriate that the revolutionaries of Vatican II are now facing a revolt from within their own ranks as the conciliar church continues to implode, all part of Our Lord's prophecy in Matthew 12: 25, Mark 3: 24, and Luke 11: 17 that a house divided cannot stand.

  • Spokane the latest Diocese to fear bankruptcy over Sex Scandals by Novus Ordinarian priests and cover-ups Bishop William Skylstad held a press conference on Monday to announce that the Spokane Diocese has no choice but to declare bankruptcy to stave off confiscation of properties in that see. The main culprit is Patrick O'Connell a former priest, but the most scandalous part is that Skylstad is next in line to succeed Bishop Wilton Gregory as head of the USCCB. Just another reason to disband this horrid, heretical organization and wake the shepherds that they must return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church as taught from Peter through Pius XII. In other words, flee the fallacy of Vatican II as fast as you can!

Spokanians don't have far to flee and in that vein, we also recommend Fr. Moderator's comments for November 4th at his excellent site and his commentary Immorality Sinks Newchurch for the large Traditonal Catholic community he speaks of comprises several thriving parishes with daily Mass. aerial view of Mount St. Michael'sMass at St. Michael's ChapelIn Spokane proper there is one at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 3914 N. Lidgerwood (509-489-6602) with Fr. Kevin Vaillencourt as pastor, and the main largest parish being the magnficent, majestic Mount St. Michael's overlooking the city of Spokane at 8504 N. St. Michael's Road, and having one of the most beautiful, edifying chapels and sanctuaries you will ever see. The pastor there is Fr. Casimir Puskorius, CMRI and two other priests Fr. John Trough, CMRI and Fr. Gerard Mckee, CMRI. They also are the motherhouse for well over 50 Traditional nuns who remind every Catholic that the True Church is thriving and graces flowing abundantly. It is akin to stepping back in time to the pontificate of Pope Pius XII. Twenty-five miles away in Rathdrum, Idaho is the City of Mary with Fr. Benedict Hughes as pastor as well as pastor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help at 517 Mill Ave. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Just west of there in Post Falls, Idaho is the Society of St. Pius X Parish Immaculate Conception Church at 496 Lincoln with three priests as well - Fr. Patrick Crane, Fr. David Hewko, and Fr. Morgan (208-773-7442). Most have at least two Masses on Sunday, and daily Mass. Both the latter and Our Lady of Guadalupe have grade schools and Mount St. Michael has both grade school and high school. The missionary spirit of true Catholicism as Christ charged His Apostles in Matthew 28: 19-20 and Mark 16: 15-16, and John 21: 15-17 is alive and thriving in the inland Northwest. If only Bishop Skylstad could realize the error of his ways and return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church, he would be warmly welcomed.

  • NCAN CAN'T BE CATHOLIC! The National Coalition of American Nuns has gone off the deep end. This organization, abbreviated NCAN, supposedly represents 500 orders in the U.S. Write those 'religious' orders off, folks. They are no more nuns than the sodomites who parade around dressed as nuns. At least the exhibitionists wear some kind of habit, but those women calling themselves nuns today have already kicked the habit and now want to kick the habit of being Catholic. Besides demanding that Cardinal Ratzinger step down and be replaced by a powerful feminist - yeah, "hear me roar!" - they have added that the Vatican should grant greater decision-making power to women, including participation in the election of popes. Right!!! These radical positions were taken in a resolution passed by the coalition's board of directors at its Aug. 18-21 meeting in Denver. Wasn't that where apostasy raised its ugly head with the 189-6 vote of the New Order Bishops? In another resolution the NCAN board said the church should allow same-sex marriages. Sure they should! NOT! The resolution also opposed federal or state laws that would prohibit gay or lesbian unions. And some people still take the post-conciliar church seriously?!!! It's a joke!

  • We Must Resist This! Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey has just released a startling news article that makes it imperative to prepare our sons and daughters and to put on the Armor of God for the denials of the draft are a smokescreen. It's a reality of the New World Order and few there are who will escape this Masonic plot. Tom shows how so cleverly they have concealed it until the citizens are so dumbed down they'll go for anything. Our Lady warned at Fatima of this very thing.
Bush Brought a Gift for the Pope: The Alliance Between Catholics and Evangelicals In a news piece from we can more readily see how the Great Facade is using more smoke and mirrors to fool so many as the One World Religion continues to take hold with the Protestants proud of the way Catholics act today. Why not? They're no longer Catholic but practicing the very same apostate beliefs that caused the Protestant Reformation and the spill-off of thousands of sects away from the True Church. Read it and weep.
  • Where is the Devil's Advocate when you really need one? No where to be found as is evident from the latest announcement of the fact the Pope is getting set to beatify the co-founder of the very questionable Focalare movement. The fact is he wrote 4,000 articles. Has every one of those been studied with a fine tooth comb to assure there is no heresy? Of course not. To overlook this was unheard of before Vatican II.
