PRO-LIFE GROUP SAYS NEW TEEN SITE PROMOTES ABORTIONWASHINGTON, DC (CWNews.com) - Two youth-oriented pro-life groups on Wednesday blasted Planned Parenthood's new Teenwire web site as an immoral guide to sexual deviance and experimentation designed to increase business for their abortion clinics. Why Life? and Rock for Life said in a statement that the site benefits only "perverts and pedophiles." "As if the tragically hip, extreme sexual content isn't enough, Planned Parenthood, via Teenwire, does its best to portray parents as uncommunicative, old-fashioned, and ignorant in comparison to the 'young people' who purportedly write the nonsense on this page," said Andrew Daub of Why Life? "The page has nothing to do with education or talking to parents about sex. It's about soliciting approval for a life of immorality."
The new site contains articles on the proper use of condoms
and determining if one is homosexual as well as a discussion
area open only to teens. "The family planning and
abortion-service referrals throughout the Web site, solely
for Planned Parenthood's network of clinics, highlight
their true motives. This site is about nothing more than
profit -- and the no-consequence, unsafe sexual agendas of
repressed, guilt-stricken baby boomers," said Kemper.
