 The elders who fulfilled the office of watching over the gatherings of the faithful were instituted by the Apostles as priests or bishops to provide for the necessary ordering of the increasing communities and not properly for the perpetuation of the Apostolic mission and power.
Here again we see the undermining of the sacerdotal essence of the priesthood instituted by Jesus Christ by claiming they are mere presiders who were there only to "fulfill an office of watching over the gatherings of the faithful." Sound familiar? Of course, that is what the Novus Ordo presbyters do today in celebrating man for the unity of the community. It's only too apparent that the counterfeit church of conciliarism has fully embraced this error by demeaning the role and importance of the priest as an alter Christus. Giovanni Montini assured this decline when he dared go against the constituted evangelic traditions and tinker with perfection - the divinely-ordained Sacrament of Holy Orders. Was this merely an oversight on his part? Could it be he didn't know? Hardly considering his education. No, he knew very well what he was doing and had to answer to his Creator at his Particular Judgment as will we all. Therefore, it's vital to realize these errors listed by Pope Saint Pius X must be identified in order for the faithful to discern that what is being passed off as "Catholic" is the very things condemned and anathematized by past Catholic Popes. Something has to give. Either the past Catholic Popes had it all wrong and the new enlightenment of modern times has determined this, which would also quotient in that Christ was wrong as well. Are you really going to buy that yarn? OR, the Modernists who have usurped the papal throne over the past 50 years or so are wrong and must be exposed and evicted. The latter is the only answer for it is incomprehensible to believe they could still be Catholic in light of all the Modernist errors they have embraced. Previous reliable Sovereign Pontiffs have assured that even if one holds to 99% of the Catholic dogmas and doctrines, but deviates from the faith "one iota" they cease to be Catholic. That's proof positive that the counterfeit church of conciliarism can in no way be Catholic. With that in mind, look at what Modernists believe in the second part of this 50th Error in Lamentabili sane: "not properly for the perpetuation of the Apostolic mission and power." What do they mean "not properly." What to them would be proper? Would it be that a democratic election by a body of elders and selected members of the congregation? Would that not be Protestant? Of course, which the conciliar church is in so many ways. All they retain are the outward trappings of being Catholic, but are in reality, as our Lord says in St. Matthew 23: 27-28, 33, 38, "are like to whitened sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men's bones and of all filthiness. So you also outwardly, indeed, appear to men just: but within, you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity...ye serpents, generation of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of hell...behold your house shall be left to you desolate." And desolation is the ultimate fate of the counterfeit church of conciliarism which forces the very "abomination of desolation...standing in the holy place"
that Christ forewarned in St. Matthew 24: 15 when He added, "he that readeth, let him understand" "qui legit, intelligat". It is interesting to read further in that chapter where Jesus speaks of the "great tribulation" and many believe that will be a physical one, and most probably is. But what is greater than tribulation of the body? Why tribulation of the soul! Think how many souls have been swept up and swept away into the abyss by the errors listed by St. Pius X. Recall our Lord's words in verse 24-25, "Then, if any man shall say to you: Lo, here is Christ, or there: do not believe him. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if it were possible) even the elect. Behold, I have told it to you before hand." We know very well the elect have been deceived for had the "elect" been alert, Vatican II would never have seen the light of day; had they known what previous reliable Popes had proclaimed, they would have voted down the documents of Vatican II and run the progressive Modernists out of town and back into exile. But they didn't for they were deceived, just as 95% of Catholics today have been deceived; just as those who think the "Motu Mess" will restore reverence have been deceived by the fox, the spider, the serpent known as Joseph Ratzinger. We should have seen it coming, Christ told us. The only excuse we can provide is that we weren't paying attention. Now that we admit that, what will be our excuse if we continue to be deceived? Think about that and pray to our Lady on this wonderful feast day of her most Immaculate Heart.
