 The assent of faith ultimately rests on a mass of probabilities.
Here is an error of Modernism that the offenders relish and which was the seedbed of Vatican II by taking "mass of probabilities" and making it ever more ambiguous. Think of the "mass of probabilities" that ushered in a new face of heresy with ecumenism, religious liberty, humanism, syncretism, and what not, not to mention the linchpin for these "mass of probabilites" the Novus Ordo Missae that unleashed the "Abomination of Desolation" enabling any and every demonic attack on the Faith and on the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the unbloody renewal of Calvary with the four ends of Adoration, Repentance, Petition and Thanksgiving. In place of the rock of worship was instituted totally illegally with no authority whatsoever, for no pope could ever alter a divinely-ordained sacrament - even a true Pope could never do that. Of course, a true Pope would never do that because he protected by the Holy Ghost from error. Ah, there's the rub, all ye Resist and Recognizers out there - soon to be only Recognizers. As Father Anthony Cekada so brilliantly put it, the issue is not sedevacantism, it is not whether the seat is vacant now and has been for over four decades, but the very fact that the tabernacles are empty because men who are not properly ordained or consecrated bishops cannot effect the sacraments. With each year the number of illicit and invalid presbyters and episcopates grow, leaving for the Modernists a "mass of probabilities" for turning the Catholic Church into the satanic one world order. It will not happen, however, because Christ has promised His protection. Soon, not soon enought, but soon the conciliar church will be crushed, imploding upon itself. Can't wait!
