"This is My Body...
This is My Blood..."

These words are said almost every second of every day at the Consecration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, assuring the Roman Catholic Church of not only being universal but timeless for Jesus has promised His Church through the Apostles that "I am with you all days, even unto the consummation of the world". The Mystery of the Eucharist is the theme in today's issue. Today we begin a new weekly feature which will clarify each week the truths of Vatican II and put to rest preposterous claims of change that the Council Fathers advocated. They did nothing of the sort. Guided by the Holy Spirit, they sought to affirm all Holy Mother Church stands for. If someone comes to you and tells you "Vatican II changed that," demand proof. We have the proof that very little was supposed to change, evidence from the Vatican II documents. Click on Vatican II Verifications to see the capsule format in this new, necessary feature.

"Do this in memory of Me..."
It is much the same format as our Catechism section, which today also features the Holy Eucharist. Click on Catechism Capsules for catechesis on the Eucharist in both the new and old Catechisms.

"Amen, amen, I say to you, he who believes in Me has life everlasting." The Liturgy of Daily Mass is our connection to the Holy Eucharist and you can find the readings for today and tomorrow by Clicking on LITURGY

"...and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
The Church Today It's a sad fact that many do not believe in the true presence of Jesus...and we're talking Catholics! It's also a sad commentary that so few priests and bishops reinforce this great mystical dogma to their flocks who are being fed a rash of other things that do not include the "Bread of Life." That is why we began our feature mega-series at the beginning of 1996 to enlighten the faithful as to the agendas of those who would betray Christ, knowingly or unknowingly. This week's installment, the forty seventh, continues the trend of exposing the false prophets in and out of the Church in our Wake up Call! to all Catholics. Click on Where is Holy Mother Church Heading as we near the Millennium? It is a thought-provoking compendium of circumstances that should incite the Church Militant to action on behalf of all that is true and sacred in Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

"I am the Bread of Life."
Our Lord and His Blessed Mother reinforce over and over the vital importance of the "Bread of Life" - the Holy Eucharist - in their messages of revelation to the Hidden Flower of the Immaculate Heart in the vast collection of over six hundred messages over a span of four and a half years. Click on "I Solemnly Tell You..." to understand how private revelation supports Public Revelation in bringing God's children closer to Him.

Prayer & Devotion
For most the Liturgy of the day begins in the morning before Mass. Thus, the prayer for the day is the MORNING OFFERING

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You all my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day, for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all our associates, and for the general intention recommended this month.

PROVERB OF THE DAY
"By kindness and piety is expiated, and by the fear of the Lord man avoids evil."

Proverbs 16: 6

HEADLINES:
Up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane...it's an ANGEL!
The photo above was captured by New Bedford Times photographer Mike Valeri during an October sunset. The cloud figure at two o'clock very much resembles an angel and the newspaper has been deluged with requests for glossies of the photo. Though many will say it is only a coincidence, they forget God forms the clouds and maybe He is trying to tell us something. Click on Angels to read more.

Dems coax a few bakers dozen GOP allies to cook School Voucher's goose
Poor little Johnny can't read, and any chance of getting a better education just got shot down by the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday when the School Voucher Bill, promoted by Republicans and religious leaders, went down to defeat. But the GOP crusaders have vowed to keep pushing until Johnny has that chance. Click on School Voucher to read more.

Holy Father reiterates how Mary always leads us back to her Divine Son
The Pope, in his scheduled Wednesday audience at Paul VI Hall in the Vatican, illustrated to the gathering how all devotion to Mary is Christ-centered. He cited various prayers to prove his point. Click on Christ-centered to read more.
