The Prize from the Queen of Peace is far different from the Nobel Peace Prize
Even though today is not a feast day of Our Lady, it is sandwiched evenly between her Immaculate Conception on Monday and her feast of Guadalupe this Friday. Today is, however the day when the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded and in recent years it has become a joke. But should we expect anything else since the Blessed Mother has said that the peace we seek is not God's peace. Man's worldly peace is fleeting, God's is forever; man's peace is just a word; God's Peace is the Word! To convey His Peace to us He sent His very special emissary - His very Own Mother to remind us, help us, warn us as any good mother would. Have we listened and responded? You be the judge as we continue our on-going series on Revelation and Our Lady's special mission. Today we bring you the forty ninth chapter entitled " God's very special Messenger: Mary, Mother of the Church." Click on THE AGE OF MARIAN APPARITIONS

Our Lady's apparitions, deigned by the Holy Trinity, are in accordance with all that has been prophesied in Divine Revelation as Wilmott G. Brown chronicles in his work on the comparisons of her apparitions at Lourdes, Fatima, and Medjugorje and devotions established by Holy Mother Church; specifically the Prayer to Saint Michael which he treats in today's installment. Peace of Mind leads to God's Peace. It's as simple as that!
.      It's really a very simple equation but we make everything so complex that we foul up the works and make it harder than it truly is. That's the gist of today's commentary entitled, "Simplicity is the answer but we simply don't get it!" Click on CATHOLIC PewPOINT Too
Why they pass out the church bulletin after Mass:
There'd be no peace!
Today's mid-week rib-ticklers are a good reason why pastors wait until the end of Mass because if people were reading the Church bulletin during the homily or worse, during Mass, the solemnity of the moment might turn to guffaws and, to quote Catholic comedian Kevin Meaney: "That's not right!" Bulletin Bloopers are the topic today for the Lighter Side as we present the first of a two-part bloopers that actually appeared in bulletins in churches throughout the U.S. Click on A funny thing happened on the way to Heaven
Contrition brings us
Peace in our soul
Whether perfect or imperfect contrition, if we are truly sorry we know that inner peace will envelop us as the catechetical teachings confirm in our continuing treatise of both the new Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Baltimore Catechism - this week on the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Click on CATECHISM CAPSULES
Without a piece of bread, it's hard to find peace of mind
But the bishops at the Synod of the Americas believe they can help as they announced last week that a new Vatican document will be issued soon that deals with abject poverty in developing third-world countries. That's the topic of today's report from the American Synod. Click on DAILY SYNOD SYNOPSIS
Peace and Harmony in how we worship
That is the objective of the Vatican document on instructions to the laity and priests on the laity's role in assisting the priest released November 13 from the Holy See. We continue with the fourteenth installment in bringing you this entire document because of its importance in preserving peace and harmony within the ranks and in accord with the norms set forth by Holy Mother Church.          Dear guardian angels, we are mindful of your presence with us as we kneel in humble adoration before the Triune Majesty. You, who are always in the presence of Almighty God, intercede for us that we might draw deeper now into the mystery of the Incarnation. Only in this way will our faith be awakened fully and strengthened for the difficult days which lie ahead for us and for all the world.

PROVERB OF THE DAY
"Deceit is in the hands of those who plot evil, but those who counsel peace have joy."

Proverbs 12: 20

Medjugorje Monthly Message
November 25th Message
The Gospa     Dear children: Today I invite you to comprehend your Christian vocation. Little children, I led and am leading you through this time of grace, that you may become conscious of your Christian vocation. Holy martyrs died witnessing: I am a Christian and love God over everything. Little children, today also I invite you to rejoice and be joyful Christians, responsible and conscious that God called you in a special way to be joyfully extended hands toward those who do not believe, and that through the example of your life, they may receive faith and love for God. Therefore, pray, pray, pray that your heart may open and be sensitive for the Word of God. Thank you for having responded to my call!
