"Calculate now its number, 666, to understand how it indicates the name of a man. The number 333, indicates the divinity. Lucifer rebels against God through pride, because he wants to put himself above God. 333 is the number which indicates the mystery of God. He who wants to put himself above God bears the sign, 666, and consequently this number indicates the name of Lucifer, Satan, that is to say, of him who sets himself against Christ, of the Antichrist.
"333 indicated once, that is to say, for the first time, expresses the mystery of the unity of God. 333 indicated twice, that is to say, for the second time, indicates the two natures, that of the divine and that of the human, united in the divine Person of Jesus Christ. 333 indicated thrice, that is to say, for the third time, indicates the mystery of the Three Divine Persons, that is to say, it expresses the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity. Thus the number, 333, expressed one, two and three times, expresses the principal mysteries of the Catholic Faith, which are: (1) the Unity and the Trinity of God, (2) the Incarnation, the passion and death, the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
"If 333 is the number which indicates the divinity, he who wants to put himself above God himself is referred to by the number 666.
"666 indicated once, that is to say, for the first time, expresses the year 666, six hundred and sixty-six. In this period of history, the Antichrist is manifested through the phenomenon of Islam, which denies the mystery of the divine Trinity and the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Islamism, with its military force, breaks loose everywhere, destroying all the ancient christian communities, and invades Europe and it is only through my extraordinary motherly intervention, begged for powerfully by the Holy Father, that it does not succeed in destroying Christianity completely.
"666 indicated twice, that is to say, for the second time, expresses the year 1332, thirteen hundred and thirty two. In this period of history, the Antichrist is manifested through a radical attack on the faith in the world (Parola) of God. Through the philosophers who begin to give exclusive value to science and then to reason, there is a gradual tendency to constitute human intelligence alone as the sole criterion of truth. There come to birth the great philosophical errors which continue through the centuries down to your days. The exaggerated importance given to reason, as an exclusive criterion of truth, necessarily leads to the destruction of faith in the word (Parola) of God. Indeed, with the protestant Reformation, Tradition is rejected as a source of divine revelation, and only Sacred Scripture is accepted. But even this must be interpreted by means of the reason, and the authentic Magisterium of the hierarchic Church, to which Christ has entrusted the guardianship of the deposit of faith, is obstinately rejected. Each one is free to read and to understand Sacred Scripture according to one's personal interpretation. In this way, faith in the word (Parola) of God is destroyed. The work of the Antichrist, in this period of history, is the division of the Church and the consequent formation of new and numerous christian confessions which gradually become driven to a more and more extensive loss of the true faith in the word (Parola) of God.
"666 indicated thrice, that is to say, for the third time, expresses the year 1998, nineteen hundred and ninety-eight. In this period of history, Freemasonry, assisted by its ecclesiastical form, will succeed in its great design: that of setting up an idol to put in the place of Christ and of His Church. A false christ and a false church. Consequently, the statue built in honor of the first beat, to be adored by all the inhabitants of the earth and which will seal with its mark all those who want to buy or sell, is that of the Antichrist. You have thus arrived at the peak of the purification, of the great tribulation and of the apostasy. The apostasy will be, as of then, generalized because almost all will follow the false christ and false church. Then the door will be open for the appearance of the man or of the very person of the Antichrist.
"This is why, beloved children, I have wanted to enlighten you concerning the pages of the Apocalypse which refer to the times you are living through. This is to prepare you with me, for the most painful and decisive part of the great struggle which is on the point of being fought out between your heavenly Mother and all the forces of evil which have been let loose.
"Take courage! Be strong, my little children. To you befalls the duty, in these difficult years, of remaining faithful to Christ and to His Church, putting up with hostility, struggle and persecution. But you are a precious part of the little flock, which has the task of fighting against, and in the end of conquering, the powerful force of the Antichrist. "I am forming you all, defending you and blessing you."
Our Lady is exhorting us to remain loyal to her Divine Son and to His Vicar on earth. We can do that only through the Sacraments and frequent attendance of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, obedience to the Commandments and the Magisterium of the Church, and prayerful discernment of Sacred Scripture. These then are the foundation for the road to Heaven; the messages of private revelation are mere signposts on that road. Though they are important, they are only one of the many means to the end, not the end in itself and we must be careful that we don'' interpret this message of that one, but rather pray for the gift of discernment that will help guide us.
Time is shorter than we may realize. Do we have our lamps lit (cf. Matthew 25: 1-13)? It's important not to hide our talents and gifts God's give us under a bushel basket (cf. Matthew 5:15), Mark 4:21, and Luke 11:33) but to emulate St. John the Baptist in our own time and shout from the rooftops of cities from the desert to the mountain tops that Christ is coming again. "Prepare ye the Way of the Lord, make straight His paths" (Matthew 3:3).
Fr. Gobbi also received a profound message from Our Lady on September 18, 1988 in which she revealed that the next ten years would be pivotal in the history of man for we "are entering into the final period of the second Advent, which will lead you to the triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the glorious coming of my Son Jesus." She also said "there will come to completion that fullness of time which was pointed out to you by me, beginning with LaSalette all the way to my most recent and present apparitions." That ten-year period began in 1988 and culminates this year: 1998.
Yes, folks, we have arrived at the end of that ten year period - at least just months away when gaging it against the time of the message on September 18. We are now almost to July. Two and a half months away. Do we have our priorities straight? Are we ready for the times Our Lord and Our Lady foretell? Are we ready, no matter the cost, to be counted among Mary's army - her Apostles of the End Times? Do we truly want Mary's Immaculate Heart to triumph and usher in the glorious Reign of her Divine Son's Sacred Heart?
This can be accomplished only if we pray as she asks and remain totally loyal in all things to God and His chosen emissary here on earth: the successor of Peter - Pope John Paul II.
The third installment of this mega-part series treats the very early years of the Church and how a handful of apostles and disciples kept alive the Word and the Sacraments amidst a mounting campaign to persecute those who called themselves Christians. As Christians they re-enacted Christ's Sacrifice on the Cross in the New Sacrifice. Through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass they relived, just as we do today, in an unbloody manner, the Sacrifice on the Cross on which the Lamb offered Himself up for the redemption of all who believe in His words "This is My Body...This is My Blood." Jesus gave His followers the greatest gift He could leave - Himself Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity. Thanks to the grace of God, the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the perseverance of the early Christians, who shed their blood, the Church grew in holiness and numbers.
With Christ's Ascension into Heaven, the Apostles may have felt like they were "on their own," so to speak, but Jesus had promised in Matthew 28:20 "Behold, I am with you all days, even unto the consummation of the world." Indeed He is with us. To confirm His Presence of speaking through, to, with and for them was the invaluable Triune Divinity Emissary bestowed on the feast of Pentecost - the Holy Spirit, Third Person of the Blessed Trinity - to carry on what the Second Person of the Trinity had established on earth - His Church and His Sacraments.
Strengthened by this, the Apostles began to establish a ritual around this Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, which they called the Mass. Within a very short time they had developed a rite which was both distinctive and meaningful. But it wasn't easy to maintain or spread for the disciples were living in an antagonistic atmosphere. Why the hostility? Simple. Here were twelve men and their disciples who were growing in numbers. Most of them had come from Jewish roots but among them were no Jewish priests, no leaders of the synagogue. They were basically outsiders with no access to the inner chambers of the temple. Their only training had been as heads of their families presiding over the Sabbath meals, Seders and Passover meals in their own homes. Yet they had been asked to celebrate a ritual "in remembrance of Jesus." Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Sanctifier, they would have been lost and afraid. Oh, there was still the human fear and apprehension. It still exists in everyone of us today. But the Apostles and those newly baptized believers went forward with perseverance in maintaining and sharing the New Sacrifice.
The accounts documented in the Acts of the Apostles verify this. Early on in Acts 2:46-47 we read, "And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread in their houses, they took their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and being in favor with all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their company such as were to be saved." Because of their Jewish roots they continued with the traditions they'd been raised with, but because of their conversion to Christ they also continued with the Eucharist in breaking of the bread in their homes. As their ranks swelled they realized more and more they were being called to break the liturgical bonds of Judaism and establish this new religion which their Master had instituted. Therefore, the Sabbath, originally Saturday, gradually was observed the next day for that was the day they broke bread together and celebrated the Eucharist. It was also a remembrance of the day Christ rose from the dead and shared His first post-resurrection meal with His disciples that evening. This became a tradition the following Sunday when Christ showed His wounds to Thomas, the doubting Apostle. From that time on, though they gathered together often, Sunday was the focal point for celebrating the Eucharist.
In those early days the Mass was quite primitive - "And they continued steadfastly in the teaching of the Apostles and in the communion of the breaking of the bread and in prayers" (Acts 2:42). Prayers were added to the celebration and, as is the custom, repetition took form creating a ritual.
Through the years a liturgical structure took shape. First, drawing from the old rite, the Apostles established a time for reading the Word just as it had been Jewish tradition to read from the Law and the Prophets in the synagogue. The Apostles and disciples borrowed from this by establishing the reading of lessons which became the Didache and eventually the Collect. Since they were no longer part of the Jewish faith, they still felt it was important to carry on this important aspect. As more writings of the New Covenant became available they were added permanently with first the epistles and then a passage from one of the four evangelists who were, for a time, with them first hand. This became the essense of the Liturgy of the Word.
In tomorrow's fourth installment, we will delve further into the transition from the Jewish customs of the Old Sacrifice to the growing Christian traditions of the New Sacrifice.
Children of my Immaculate Heart, please do not grow cold. O! So much work remains and how swiftly flies time. Work diligently. Give yourselves to my Divine Son through my Immaculate Heart. Daily renew your offering of self and believe that by this offering God looks upon the world with Mercy.
Dear little children, the justice which has been foretold from all ages is to come very soon upon all men. This cannot be stopped, but it can be mitigated by all my little ones, each a glorious victim soul.
In your world shall come to pass all that Scripture has foretold. solemnly tell you the signs of Holy Scripture are already upon you but you do not see them because your heart is closed.
Open your heart. Receive my Motherly Blessing. I give you God's peace. Pray! Pray! Pray! Thank you for responding to my Call!
Beloved ones, I solemnly tell you that the world has already begun to crack asunder. You neither understand nor perceive this, for the truth is denied you by the evil one's control. Be ever watchful and alert, and to you shall descend Divine Knowledge and Wisdom each in proportion to their mission in life.
My little ones, I solemnly say unto you, "Do not neglect your lamps. Do not permit the oil to be low, for if the flame flickers it will go out."
Satan moves among you, striding proudly as an emperor to whom the crown of victory has been given. How subtly he moves, whispering lies to confound and confuse. All that I do to fulfill my Peace Plan as ordained by God shall be attacked and never more viciously than from my consecrated priest-sons and my cherished religious daughters.
I solemnly tell you do not lose heart when these malicious words are spread. They shall die all too soon in the Flame of Truth. Has not my Son told you in Sacred Scripture that if a thing bears good fruit it shall not die but flourish. But if something is from the evil one, it shall all too swiftly begin to flounder and quickly die. Therefore, do not grieve nor become anxious, for the Truth is known to my humble ones and the demon's clever tactics shall be the very means by which Almighty God shall bear glorious fruit. Thank you for responding to my Call.
