William Pryor: A Breath of Fresh Air!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The Party of Death didn't quite know how to handle something so foreign to them: the truth!

At last, a pro-lifer who is not afraid to call a spade a spade. President Bush's latest Appeals Court nominee, William Pryor, Alabama's attorney general, was nominated to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

He told the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday that abortion is "murder" and that the court case legalizing it is "the worst abomination in the history of constitutional law." Pryor also said. "I believe that not only is [Roe] unsupported by the text and structure of the Constitution, but it has led to a morally wrong result. It has led to the slaughter of millions of innocent unborn children."

All the other pro-life nominees tried to skirt the issue. Not willing to answer direct questions concerning their views on abortion, because they knew that the nine members of the "party of death" on the Judiciary Committee would reject their nomination.

Right now, two of Bush's nominees, Estrada and Owen, are being filibustered, because the Democratic senators know if it goes to the floor for a full Senate vote, they would be confirmed.

Nine pro-abortion groups, including NARAL Pro-Choice America and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, have formed an organization aimed specifically at opposing nominees who do not support the killing of unborn children. They have given their orders to the Democratic senators filibuster, or you get no more money from us.

The Democrats on the committee, headed by Charles Schumer, appeared stunned by Pryor's honesty. They wanted to know Pryor's views on abortion and they got it, right between the eyes. There was no holding back by Pryor. He was not going to be intimidated by the pro-aborts. Instead of Pryor being on the "hot seat," he had the Democrat death squad squirming. They did not pursue this line of questioning any further. Instead, they got off the subject.

Apparently, they felt by dwelling on it, they might get more answers concerning why the Constitution does NOT support Roe Vs Wade. This was just not for public consumption.

They might have even elicited a response from Pryor that in the Roe Vs Wade majority opinion, it was stated that no one knows when human life begins. Pryor might have said, "well, now we do know with certainty. We have DNA, which was not available then. It is irrefutable that human life begins at conception. However, even without DNA, if they would only have called in a human embryologist to testify, they would have known this, but they did not."

Also, Pryor might have said, "the Declaration of Independence says that all men are created equal and as such are entitled to life. It does not say born equal. It is a scientific fact that human beings are created at conception."

And if they continued to badger Pryor, he might also have quoted the Preamble of the Constitution:

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Pryor might have said, "notice, it says to our posterity. Unborn children are our posterity. You kill them and you are killing our posterity, which is strictly forbidden under the Constitution of the United States.

Yes, these are the reasons why the Democrats wanted to go on to another subject, instead of dwelling on the killing of unborn children, because Pryor might also have said all of the above.

Thank God, for people like Pryor, who not only was not afraid to speak the truth, but at the same time give a lecture on the Constitution. This is what is needed more pro-lifers like Pryor. And who knows, his quotes might even be printed by liberal media. We can only hope.

How many times have you heard the PCKU (pro-choice to kill the unborn) say we don't want any judge who will not follow the Constitution. To these people, I have to say, thank your lucky stars that your PCKU judges on the Supreme Court and on federal benches do not follow the Constitution, because if they did, the legal killing of unborn children would be outlawed in a heartbeat.

William Pryor is a true Catholic and he isn't about to play politics with his faith, unlike the four so-called Catholics on the Judiciary Committee, Kennedy, Biden, Leahy and Durbin, who to remain in good standing with the "party of death" and with their neo-Catholic spineless bishops despite the fact they have mocked God and His Will, "Thou Shalt Not Kill."

This is what is known as selling your soul to the devil for political gain.

It would appear that Democrats only want judges who mock God and pick and choose just certain parts of the Holy Bible to live their life by. whatever does not interfere with their politics.

I would think that if Pryor is not confirmed, the Democratic party is going to have a lot of explaining to do to the 62 million Catholics in the United States 40 million of voting age. They will have to answer the question, " why can't Catholics, who honor the will of God, be confirmed to sit on an Appellate Court." However, if the outrage is not known, if the double-standard is not exposed by Catholic media and the American bishops then all the honesty in the world is not going to uncorrupt the corrupted both in the Chancery and Congress.

If we can't discriminate against sodomites, who make satan happy, (Homosexuality is clearly condemned in the Bible), then how in the world can there be any discriminations against people, who make God Happy? But again, don't count on many bishops rushing to Pryor's defense. It wouldn't be politically correct.

I do think that if every pro-life nominee would be like William Pryor and respond as Pryor did, then they wouldn't be on the "hot seat" very long. Yes. The best way to shorten the sessions is to be honest, Democratic senators can't tolerate that. This could be the ticket to offset the senseless filibusters: being honest and brunt. By doing so, nominees can be assured that the process will be expedited quickly, because the Democratic senators do not want the truth about the killing of unborn children to reach the American people. If the other nominees respond honestly like Pryor, they'll be done with the scrutiny and home before breakfast.

Frank Joseph, M.D.
