As each month passes slowly but surely our Faith is being eroded. Daily the evidence manifests itself only too clearly in pronouncements and actions by leaders in the post-conciliar Church. Meanwhile they deny there is a great crisis and continue the charade while so many souls suffer the drought. The only answer to satisfying the thirst of the faithful is to return to the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church in order to save our own souls and those of our fellow man.
The September issue of The DAILY CATHOLIC is packed with proof of this - from Christopher Ferrara's eye-opening
FOCUS column The Liturgy of the World to Atila Sinke Guimaraes' prophetic manifestation of the fallout of the heretical posturing that the Jews no longer need to be converted as he illustrates in Dangerous Liaisons in his regular column On the BattleLine; from Catharine Lamb's
Shears and Tears of a Lamb decrying the lack of hearing the Gospel from today's shepherds in her column Reason vs. Compromise to Erven Park's examination of The Real Crux of the Church's Crisis in "By their fruits you shall know them".
In Echoes of True Catholicism Dr. Marian Horvat brings to our attention how vulgarity has enabled the malaise and revolution both in the Church and society with her column "Language is the Dress of Thought." and this same vulgarity is what has prompted Dr. Thomas Droleskey to abandon something he has loved for 40 years as he explains the woeful demise of decency in his
Christ or chaos column Out of the Old Ball Game!. This loosening of values and priorities is illustrated well with Dr. Ed Ciaccio's column "The Wimpification of America" in
"Feed My Sheep" and Dr. Frank Joseph's column "Is it time to fumigate the feminists?" in his
Pro Life Prescriptions.
For those who don't understand why so many Catholics are turning back to Traditionalism to preserve the True Faith, we offer an excellent review by John Vennari of the block-buster book "The Great Facade" by Chris Ferrara and Dr. Thomas Woods, Jr.. Entitled The Regime of Novelty Decimated in
Books You Can Book On and the continuation of Mario Derksen's insightful series on the only-too evident humanism of the Holy Father in Part V of Death and Life in his column
Traditional Insights and Bishop Bernard Fellay's lengthy, but comprehensive candid account of on-going talks between the SSPX and Rome in The Masonic Madness, Mayhem and Manipulation of Modernist Rome in Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei. This is further magnified in the final installment of Father James F. Wathen's landmark book
The Great Sacrilege with the Conclusion in Chapter Eight.
To edify our readers we present a profile on the twelfth of the 33 Doctors of the Church, this month featuring that orthodox giant of the fifth century, the Defender of Rome Pope Saint Leo the Great, and we also provide the
Liturgy of the Saints covering the entire month of September with the cusp of the ides of this month focusing on the two feasts of the Exaltation of the Cross and the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Ninth Promise of the Sacred Heart in
Twelve Promises of the Sacred Heart, and Granting of Indulgences in our catechetical series
Appreciating the Precious Gift of our Faith as well as various prayers compiled that are available in Prayers and Devotion and the Rosary in either English or Latin.
There is also another gem from Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, a true visionary who is sorely missed today who pointed out that Purposeful Prayer is Perpetual in Simply Sheen.
For those who have been waiting for over six weeks, we present the next episode of White Smoke, Black Fire! as the tension heats up in The Shadowing.
Finally , we ask from our heart for financial help to keep The DAILY CATHOLIC going for it is on life support right now as you'll see in CODE RED! We also remind you we are in need of a Traditional Priest in the Branson Lakes area. Any interested padre may give us a call at 800-I-DO-PRAY or write us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
May you thoroughly enjoy and benefit from this issue. If you agree with what is published, let us know; conversely if you disagree, let us know as well - but be sure to back up your argument with proofs, not conjecture for contrary to what many may believe because that is all that is referenced to, the Roman Catholic Church did not begin in 1965! Have a safe September and let us all pray more and prepare for Our Lady's month in October.
God bless and keep. Adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini.
