FEATURED IN TODAY'S ISSUE:
In today's commentary, editor Michael Cain enumerates why the Gospel for yesterday's Last Sunday After Pentecost is so meaningful and asks why so many neo-Catholics totally miss the message Christ is conveying in His 'qui legit, intelligat.' The "abomination of desolation" is no less than the taking away of the eternal sacrifice - the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass which was decreed unchangeable by an infallible, dogmatic Sacred Council and holy pontiffs. Sadly, we observe at the end of the week the 33rd commemoration of the "abomination of desolation" foretold in Sacred Scripture. He shares the specific meanings outlined in the Haydock Comprehensive Catholic Commentary that accompanies the Douay-Rheims Bible in many editions. Cain also shows how the first chapter of the Book of Machabees, in which the eternal sacrifice was taken away in the time of the Old Testament, contains a compendium of all that has happened over the past 40 years, showing clearly the second taking away of the eternal sacrifice, the time Christ foretold in the New Testament. That is why November 30, 1969 will live in infamy as he points out in his editorial what Saint Cyprian deducted and the holy Doctor of the Church Saint Bede the Venerable affirmed:
"No Religion Can Remain!".
"Qui legit, intelligat"
In Father Louis Campbell's sermon, delivered to his congregation yesterday for the Last Sunday After Pentecost (from which Gospel comes the title of Father's column for his sermons), Father focuses on the Gospel of St. Matthew, chapter 24: 24 and Christ's words "so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect". Indeed, the elect of the Church over the past 40 years have been greatly led astray and the great catastrophe is that so many followed their 'elect' into error. Father points out that many will not take stock of the situation out of pure pride, afraid to admit they have made a grave mistake by following the heresies that have erupted from the molting, molten magna of Vatican II. Pride is the sin that fells many and no one is safe from this most destructive capital sin unless they seek from the depths - de profundis the meaning of their Faith and emulate the Blessed Mother's virtues, most specifically humility, as he explains in his sermon
"He has scattered the proud"
Christ or chaos
Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey completes his analysis of the political landscape over the past two decades in showing that the more we think things will change so that Roe vs. Wade will finally be overturned, the more things remain status quo and the more babies are senselessly and sinfully murdered in the womb. The only way this Holocaust of the Womb can be stopped is by fulling embracing, as Blessed Miguel Pro promoted so valiantly and gave his life for: the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ - Vivo Christo Rey! Tom points out that this will take time - many generations worth, but to get started we can't sit still and we can't take a compromising position. The Social Kingship of Christ can only be restored by our total commitment to God's will alone as Tom explains in his essay entitled No Quick Fix!
Profiles of the Saints & Seasons
Today is the Traditional Double Feast of the Virgin and Martyr Saint Catharine of Alexandria who was slain for her Faith in the year 307 under the wicked regime of Maximinus who tried several times to do away with this warrior of God. St. Catharine of Alexandria, who so confounded the Roman Emperor and in the process converted some of the emperior's own officers, is considered the Patroness of Philosophers. For the Proper of the Mass of the days and her profile, see Saint Catharine of Alexandria
Doctors of the Church
The seventeenth Doctor in this chronological series on the Doctors of the Church was the most remarkable of the Greek writers of the 8th century. He stood up strongly to false doctrines. He led the defenders of the orthodox Catholic faith against the iconoclast movement of the Byzantine regime.
He was known as the last of the Greek Fathers and one whom greatly inspired the Angelic Doctor several centuries later. He was Saint John of Damacene.

Mario Derksen continued his series on the controversy that surrounds "the illicit Episcopal Ordinations of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre." In part three, Mario presented canonical arguments to better illustrate there was No Schism or Excommunication On or Immediately After June 30, 1988. He analyzed, via the Excommunication Decree issued by Cardinal Gantin, what canons apply from the 1983 Code of Canon Law and syllogized how a simple latae sententiae has been misinterpreted so much so that when one tries to target logical reasons for the excommunication one gets caught in Canon Backfire!

Echoes of True Catholicism
Following her excellent article on the Novissima last week, Dr. Marian Therese Horvat began Thursday a three-part essay on the Rapture. She pointed out what is behind the corporate enterprise that is spreading this heresy through the phenomenology of the "Left Behind" series. Marian showed how the Rapture concept has spread so rapidly to engulf the thinking of not only Protestants, but many Catholics who simply do not understand Church Doctrine on the end times. She explained in the Rupture that is the Rapture in Part One of The Rapture Virus .
The Germs of G.I.R.M.
Thursday we brought you part fifty-nine of Dr. Thomas A. Droleskey's well-received, thought-provoking series on G.I.R.M. warfare as he continued analyzing and commenting on the ambiguity and errors in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal and the ICEL operatives who have contributed to promulgating this atrocity. He focused on paragraphs 143 through 151, illustrating how Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, the Freemason architect of the New Mass of Paul VI, so cleverly eliminated the essence of The Roman Canon which enabled those out to destroy the Mass the power to assimilate a celebration of a meal and take away the propitiatory sacrifice of Calvary which the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has always conveyed. Through Bugnin's shuffling of the rubrics and direct violation of infallible decrees, he opened the door for doing away with the alter Christus which G.I.R.M. has been only too willing to comply with and continue the charade that, in effect is nothing more than Doing the Bugnini Shuffle .

Exspectans exspectavimus Ecclesia Dei
Bishop Richard Williamson, in a stunning, and most encouraging letter to Traditional Catholics dated November 6th, laid out five points that illustrate the inevitable "end to the Newchurch cuckoo's occupying the Catholic Church nest." He also revealed what we first conveyed to you in Monday's editorial regarding the purported apparitions to the Pope this year, expressing the hope that Heaven could now be intervening to stop the humanist interlopers who have usurped Holy Mother Church. The Bishop reinforced the Society's desire to help by throwing lifelines of solid orthodoxy to those flailing in the swirling waters of novelty and ecumenism, but not to join a sinking ship for that would suck the Society down as well. He pointed to two recent literary breakthroughs, one by Atila Sinke Guimar„es, a regular contributing writer for The DAILY CATHOLIC, which indicate things are accelerating in the battle to preserve the Truths and Traditions of Holy Mother Church. Modern Rome wants Tradition to Transition. It cannot be so. There must be a Transition by Rome back to Tradition. That is the only way Truth will prevail as His Excellency related in Truth Prevails, Times Five.
Wednesday we presented the second of a two part in-depth article, begun in Tuesday's issue and reprinted from this month's CATHOLIC FAMILY NEWS with the kind permission of editor John Vennari, who wrote this excellent essay on the insanity of adding five more mysteries to a tradition that needed no alterations. The Rosary is the last vestige of devotion that hadn't been tinkered with, but now, thanks to John Paul II's Apostolic Letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae released on October 16th this year, that too has the fingerprints of the Conciliarists. It is only too evident they have disregarded all Heaven has conveyed and what the Pope's predecessors from Leo X through Pius XII held as sacrosanct and untouchable. John addressed the noticeable absence of Fatima and Lepanto in RVM and the wise warning of Pope Saint Pius X in his Pascendi Dominici Gregis in the second part of
Twenty Mysteries of the Rosary?.
