"And he proudly entered into the sanctuary, and took away the golden altar, and the candlestick of light, and all the vessels thereof, and the table of proposition, and the pouring vessels, and the vials, and the little mortars of gold, and the veil, and the crowns, and the golden ornament that was before the temple: and he broke them all in pieces."

"When therefore , you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel, the prophet, standing in the holy place: he that readeth let him understand."

"Then many of the people were gathered to them that had forsaken the law of the Lord: and they committed evils in the land: And they drove away the people of Israel into lurking holes and into secret places of fugitives [underground churches]...king Antiochus set up the abominable idol of desolation upon the altar of God, and they built altars throughout all the cities of Juda round about...And they cut in pieces, and burnt with fire the books of the law of God: And everyone with whom the books of the testament of the Lord were found, and whosoever observed the law of the Lord, they put to death according to the edict of the king...they sacrificed upon the altar of the idol that was over-against the altar of God."

"The Mass [Traditional Latin Mass set in stone by the Council of Trent and codified in Quo Primum] is the most beautiful thing this side of Heaven. It came forth out of the grand mind of the Church and lifted us out of earth and out of self, and wrapped us round in a cloud of mystical sweetness and the sublimities of a more than angelic liturgy, and purified us almost without ourselves, and charmed us with celestial charming so that our very senses seemed to find vision, hearing, fragrance, taste, and more than ear can give."

"Our Mass goes back without essential change to the age when Caesar ruled the world and thought he could stamp out the faith of Christ, when our fathers met together before dawn and sang a hymn to Christ as God." He also emphasized, "There is not in Christendom a rite so venerable as ours."

"The devil has always attempted, by means of the heretics, to deprive the world of the Mass, making them precursors of the Antichrist, who, before anything else, will try to abolish and will actually abolish the Holy Sacrament of the Altar as a punishment for the sins of men, according to the prediction of Daniel 8: 12, 'And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice'"

   Well, folks, whether you understand it or not, the devil has succeeded in fulfilling this prophecy. The continual sacrifice for all practical purposes has, as Sacred Scripture foretold, ended for the vast majority who ascribe to accepting the Novus Ordo Missae as legitimate, perfectly acceptable in lieu of the Traditional Latin Mass which, basically, remained untouched since the third century. The Council of Trent set it in stone that it could never be changed which St. Alphonsus Liguori, a great Doctor of the Church, confirmed that:

"Man cannot perform a more holy, a more grand, more sublime action than to celebrate a Mass. In regard to which the Council of Trent says: 'We must needs confess that no other work can be performed...so holy and divine as this tremendous Mystery itself. God Himself cannot cause an action to be performed that is holier and grander than the celebration of the Mass.'"

   Now that must sound harsh, especially to our neo-Catholic or conservative Catholic friends, but we hope and pray by the time you have finished reading this most important commentary that you, too, will come to the realization - the inspiration from the Holy Ghost, the Consoler, the Sanctifier - that indeed Outside the Church there is NO Salvation which remains the first and most important dogma of Holy Mother Church. The chief means for striving towards eternal life is in the most precious gift Jesus Christ left His chosen Mystical Body - the unbloody sacrifice of Himself to the Father confected in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as approved and established as unchangeable by the perennial, infallible Magisterium of the Church - also considered the Extraordinary Magisterium as opposed to the present ordinary magisterium who pump themselves up as more important than they actually are, and, sadly as imposters of the trustees of the Sacred Deposit of the Faith.

   You see my statements of the above are based on the fact that the Roman Catholic Church of over 1900 years was hijacked in the sixties, replaced by a new religion with a new creed - the creed of man, which slowly but surely has eroded the faith of millions and millions of souls who haven't got a clue, so cleverly and deviously have they been duped. The victims and perpetrators include laity, religious, priests, bishops, archbishops, abbots, cardinals and, yes, even popes. That's pretty bold, I know. I can just hear the neo-Catholics - if they're still reading at this point - hollering 'What? Who does Michael Cain think he is? Does he think he knows more than the Pope or the Vatican or the bishops? What gall!' I can appreciate your outrage and I hope in this series on the sorrowful mysteries you will direct your outrage where it needs to be focused: on those who have deceived you and clamor, yea, demand that the True Sacrifice be returned and God's protection renewed so that His Holy Church may again flourish and, after a 40-year drought in the desert of insanity, we'll all find our way back to the promised land where fruits will once again be made manifest. Even the most die-hard neo-Catholic must admit that there have been no constant, viable fruits since Vatican II. Oh, they will spin that there are, but no documentation can be provided to substantiate it because Christ Himself assured there would not be in Matthew 7: 16-27. Though it is long, it is important to remind you that Jesus foretold of these times very clearly:

"By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes off thorns, or figs off thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, and the bad tree bringeth forth bad fruit. A good tree cannot yield bad fruit, neither can a bad tree yield good fruit. Every tree that yieldeth not good fruit, shall be cut down, and shall be cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. Not everyone that saith to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven: but he that doth the will of My Father, Who is in Heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day: Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and cast out devils in Thy name, and done many wonderful works in Thy name? And then I will profess unto them: I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity. Every one, therefore, who heareth these My words, and doth them, shall be likened to a wise man who built his house upon a rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock. And everyon that heareth these My words, and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof."

   And so, dear friends, those traditions we cherish are in jeopardy; those same traditions St. Jerome so strongly recommended be observed which have been handed down. Except in the remnant, the underground Church, the Church which Modernist Rome has succeeded in labeling with the moniker of being in schism (aka the Society of St. Pius X), they have not. Take a look again at the graphics at the top of this commentary again. Please tell us the difference between the Masonic temple on the left and the layout of the sanctuary in the Novus Ordo in the post-conciliar church? As much as neo-Catholics and progressivists want to deny it, there is none. Unlike the Traditional Latin Mass approved to be said "in perpetuity" by Pope St. Pius V in affirming all that Trent decreed in order to preserve the Perfect Plan of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass that was truly Roman Catholic in every way, Paul VI turned his back on the sacrosanct by adopting and encouraging a new liturgical arrangement that follows closely the same setup as the Freemason ceremonies. Do you still believe the Novus Ordo is truly Roman Catholic? Please! Perhaps hearing from the destroyers of the continual sacrifice will enlighten you further that we are dead on in our assessment, that, in truth, those who attend the New Mass of Paul VI are attending a Protestant service and not the True Sacrifice of the Mass!

   As I accused earlier in this piece Archbishop Annibale Bugnini was a 33rd degree Mason. We have this on the authority of the Grand Master himself of the Alta Vendita Italian Lodge who wrote on July 14, 1964 to then Fr. Annibale Bugnini, calling him by his Masonic name Buan, on the special clandestine task of destroying the Church, which was expected by the Masonic Order from this rising Vaticanista who sold his soul to the devil:

"We inform you of the task that the Council of Brothers has established for you in agreement with the Grand Master and the Princes to the Throne, and we charge you: ...to spread de-Christianization by confusing rites and languages and to set priests, bishops, and cardinals against each other. Linguistic and ritualistic babble means victory for us, since linguistic and ritual unity has been the strength of the Church...Everything must happen within a decade."

"In brief, I believe I have sown the seeds of maximum licence with the document [Missae Romanae which was released 2 years later by Paul VI] according to your instructions. I had to fight bitterly and make use of every wile to have it approved by the Pope in the face of my enemies in the Congregation for Rites. Fortunately for us, we won immediate backing from our friends and brothers in the Universa Laus, who are loyal [to the Masonic creed and goal of destroying Holy Mother Church]. I thank you for the sum sent and in the hope of seeing you soon. I send my embrace. Your brother Buan."

"We must discard from our Catholic prayers and from the Catholic liturgy everything that could constitute the slightest risk of obstacle or displeasure for our separated brethren that is, for the Protestants."

"Better that only a few Catholics should be left, staunch and sincere in their religion, than that they should, remaining many, desire as it were, to be in collusion with the Church's enemies and in conformity with the open foes of our faith."

"Let them who like myself have known and sung a Latin-Gregorian High Mass remember it if they can. Let them compare it with the Mass that we now have. Not only the words, the melodies, and some of the gestures are different. To tell the truth, it is a different liturgy of the Mass. This needs to be said without ambiguity: the Roman Rite as we knew it no longer exists. It has been destroyed. Some walls of the former edifice have fallen while others have changed their appearance to the extent that it appears today either as a ruin or the partial substructure of a different building. We must not weep over the ruins or dream of an historical reconstruction."

   Yet so few Catholics realize that. So few Catholics even give it a thought how their precious faith and belief have been so eroded by the sacking of the sacred. Where the Tabernacle where Christ truly presides once was the centerpiece of His house in every church, man has replaced God with the chair of man now in place just as the Masonic temples are positioned. Just as the Freemason priest and priestess face the members, so also in the New Mass. Just as the Masonic pledge is iconoclastic, so also the Roman Catholic churches have been ransacked and denuded, communion rails taken out and, with the help of Rome and the liturgical and architectural commissions, especially in the North America, renovated to out-Protestantize the Protestant churches no less. And all the while the 'faithful' swallow everything they're told from communion in the hand to celebrating self, from standing during the most sacred canon to women on the altar - all gullibly going along with whatever they are told in total, blind obedience as their beloved faith crumbles. Lex orandi, lex credendi - How one prays, so one believes. In so willingly accepting blindly whatever they are told they have embraced a Masonic Mass which no longer represents the propiatory sacrifice and, in so doing, they have abandoned the True Faith in favor of a new religion - a new church that prior to Vatican II would have clearly been held not only in contempt, but declared anathema sit. So few Catholics realize what has happened.

   Next week I will continue with the third sorrowful mystery and how the crowning of thorns equates to the 'New Mass' - the Novus Ordo - the Mass of Paul VI as well as providing clarification for those who consider the Pope impeccable. To those who think I am radical, think I've lost my marbles, I challenge them to prove the Traditional stance wrong. Before you respond, be sure you truly know your Faith. If you do, then I doubt very much you'll be writing to me, but to Rome and to every priest and bishop demanding they restore the continual sacrifice. That is why we have made this apostolate of The DAILY CATHOLIC our life-long vocation to re-educate Roman Catholics to what our beloved Church truly teaches. I guarantee you it does not condone the fact that Modernists mock Christ and His Mystical Body by uncrowning Him with what today so closely resembles a Masonic Mass! Ergo,...Introibo ad altare Dei; non ad altare hominis! I will go in unto the altar of God; not to the altar of man!
